Character's Name:Paul Harding
Gender:male
Age:twenty-one, birthday is June second
Category: shapeshifter
Sub-Category: Sam's pack
Sexual Orientation: straight
Family:
Paul's father-David Harding(deceased)
Paul's mother-Cindy Harding(deceased)
Paul's imprint-Rachel Black
Character History: Paul was born on June second to a proud-and very distraught-father. His mother had died during birth, and his father considered him the last thing left of her. Paul had no idea of this until later, but to this day still considers his mother's death his own fault. David and his newborn baby didn't even attend the funeral for two reasons. Somebody had to take care of the baby, and David considered this his job, and who would take a newborn baby to a funeral. After all, all the baby would do is cry through the whole ceremony, despite the cooing and gentle shushing he would receive. So for the next week, Dave and Paul sat inside, using all of the baby supplies he and Cindy had collected during her pregnancy.
Paul grew up strong on healthy, despite the absence of his mother, and did okay in school. Not grades to brag about, but nothing to get him kicked out either. Although he did have a lot of trouble keeping control of his temper, which probably is due to the fact of her nonexistence. Father's don't provide a lot of comfort after beating kids that tease you to a pulp. That's usually what got him in trouble, but for some odd reason, the trouble was never huge. As Paul grew, the anger got worse, flaring up at times when it was most unneeded, and forcing him to act upon them, showing his true feelings.
When Paul turned sixteen, he found himself very infuriated, and got so angry that he changed form. After a few moments, he was a humongous canine, and all of his clothes were tattered and spread around him on the floor. His surprise was so great, that he didn't even act on his anger, and just sat there, staring down at his paws in awe. When he got the courage to change back-and when he got some suitable clothes on-he told his dad of his experience. David said that, because he was full Indian, and because his father shifted, Paul inherited this trait. His father had known from the moment he was born that he would shift, but dreaded the day he would. And it was made all the worse by Paul's anger problems.
From the day he turned sixteen, Paul had joined the pack at La Push, and had scouted the area dutifully, making sure the blood-suckers didn't break the all mighty treaty. Eventually David died, which took a major toll on Paul. For a whole week, he completely refused to inspect the land with the pack, and sometimes even refused to come out of the house. When he finally came back out and rejoined with the pack, there were three new members: Jacob Black, Quil Ateara, and Embry Call. But for some odd reason, Jacob, who was the rightful alpha, hadn't taken up the position Sam had offered him. He stayed in his lower rank of second in command, just fine with it.
On one of Paul's trips to Jacob's house to eat everything in his kitchen and watch television, his life was changed for ever. Right when he walked to the door, he saw a girl who basically looked like the female version of Jacob. Immediately his emotions unraveled; the guilt for his mother, the sadness for his father, and a large portion of his anger issues immediately disappeared. This girl turned out to be Rachel Black, Jacob's sister, and his other sister's twin. And Paul had-strangely enough-imprinted on her. Eventually he found that they shared feelings for each other, and not only was it imprinting, they were bound to be soul mates from the beginning.
Then there was his fight with Jacob. When Paul found out Jake had told Isabella Swan about the shapeshifting and the pack-without imprinting on her-he became so outraged, that he sprang and tried to get past Jake, aiming for the girl. Jacob immediately sprang back, and they both ended with injuries. Paul's damage was just a minor, and easily healed broken nose. Eventually, Paul got over all of the strange happenings with Jake, Bella, and the hybrid daughter, and currently has no ill feelings towards Jacob or Bella for the incident. Although, he still isn't a big fan of the vampires.
Character Appearance: Paul is very dark skinned, due to Indian blood. His hair is jet black and fairly short so that his wolf form doesn't get long hair. He is slightly short for being a Quilete that can shift, but tall by human standards. Paul is very muscled, and probably one of the biggest pack members. His eyes are dark, almost black, just like most La Push residents, and are normally shaped, not very different from most people. His wolf form is dark silver colored, and has muscles even bigger than his human form. Paul's wolf form is also quite large; tall, despite his shortness for his Quilete human self.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
Strengths:
1. Burliness
2. Attack strategy
3. Strong Will
4. Loving (if you're worthy of it...)
5. Fighter
Weaknesses:
1. Temperamental
2. Phases from anger
3. Short human form
4. Acts on impulse
5. Eats... a lot
Personality: Paul is very temperamental, and will start a fight for a reason that makes absolutely no sense. He does whatever he wants when he wants, acting on impulse, but still has a strong will in some ways; nobody can make him do something he doesn't want to, and if they try, they're in for it. He's a fast shifter-especially if you anger him-and sometimes even forgets to tie his clothes around his ankle. That's why he's always so low on shirts. Stress doesn't get to him easily, as he isn't the type of person who wants to keep it bottled up inside. And being a shapeshifter makes it hard to bottle it up anyway. After all, everybody can hear your thoughts whenever you phase.
His imprint on Rachel is strong, and always has been from the very beginning. His thoughts are almost always on her, which he's sure probably annoys the pack, but he really can't help it. Of course, its not as bad as Jacob was with Bella-who wasn't even his imprint. But that's because Paul actually has Rachel. Paul isn't picky with food whatsoever, and eats just about anything a few feet in front of him, as long as its edible. And he's also digested a few things that weren't; the iron hard stomach really helps.

This sample is taken from another twilight roleplaying site I'm on.
Eliana looked down at her outfit, fixing everything wrong about it before she kept moving through the woods. Weeds snagged and pulled at her skin, leaving white scrapes all over her calves. Why did I wear shorts, she thought to herself, sighing and shaking her head angrily. She kept pushing through weeds and flowers alike, trying desperately to stay on the path that spread out ahead of her. Even with her average balance she stumbled a few times, but never really fell or got scraped up like some people would on this path. The plants were just so heavily packed around her ankles that it was hard to walk, let alone get anywhere while walking. Which made it even harder not to fall.
The trees here were so close together, that Ellie could barely see the sunlight filtering through, which meant she couldn't see the sky at all. There were almost as many trees as there were plants, mostly weeds, making it even harder for Eliana to move and navigate in this forest. The path was made of dirt, meaning it was just where people had trampled over enough plants to kill them all, so at least she knew that she wasn't going to get lost. As she kept going, sweating a bit and getting a little winded in the process, the sunlight became closer and closer, illuminating a landscape Ellie couldn't quite see, but figured was beautiful up close. There was obviously a tiny lake or steam or some kind of body of water, as the sunlight was hitting it and bouncing off, creating a beautiful shimmer effect only liquid could generate.
As Ellie got closer, the landforms, plants, and water looks all the more refreshing and gorgeous. Eliana had never hiked in these woods, but a few of her friends had, and said that hiking here would shock her. She had never worked this into her schedule, but today she had just been sitting at home private messaging a friend who had come here the day before, and had had the same pleasant surprise everybody else gossiped about. After the conversation, Eliana had twisted her father around her finger, and convinced him to drop her off here for a little hiking. She had done it for alone time, but now slightly wished with just a piece of her mind that she had invited a friend. After all, everyone deserved to see the exaggerated beauty of the woods once in a while.
When the path ended, Ellie lifted her gaze from it and her feet, only to look upon the most amazing meadow she had ever heard of, or seen in person-or in television for that matter. It was absolutely amazing, and almost unexplainable if you wanted somebody's vision of it to be perfect. "Whoa," she murmured under her breath, a naive, and astonished look appearing slowly on her face. The most marvelous flowers sprouted up from the ground, in a nearly unnoticeable pattern, but a pattern nonetheless. The whole meadow was weed free, and the trees were few, and the ones there beautiful, and providing the perfect amount of shade. The total amount of shade was almost exactly equivalent to that of the sunlight, creating a perfect balance.
Then she saw the water, and Ellie's gasp and amazement grew even larger. It shimmered and sparkled in the sunlight, wavering and rippling in just the right places. "This is prettier than a postcard," she whispered laughing, walking over to the liquid. Eliana cupped her hands and dipped them under the surface, rising them and watching her palms fill with water. She lifted them over her head and then tilted them, feeling the water slide down her face and wet down a few bits of her hair; the water even felt as good as it looked, like a million dollar sprinkler, only self worked. Grinning, Eliana sat down on a old looking log, which seemed like it just belonged there. It was the perfect bunch: not crumbling under her weight, not infested with bugs, and not rotting with time. This place was perfect, and Ellie finally understood why her friends spoke of it so excitedly.
Celebrity Claim: Well, I read the rules, and they said that nobody could use any of the characters from the moves. So, Alex Meraz is taken, even though its against the rules, and he plays Paul in New Moon. Is there a way I can use him? If not, I might be able to find somebody else.
