Character History:

Gideon Stridex was a good boy as a child. He always did as he was asked, and he was very patient. He didn’t lie, and he didn’t hide things from his family. He was a sweetheart, and loved to hang out with his siblings. He loved to play with his little brother, Chandler. Chandler and Gideon got along fantastically. Gideon’s parents were proud of Gideon. Chandler was 5 and Gideon was 10 years old. They were the best of friends. Gideon went to a private school until 4th grade, and then they had to move. There was no private school close enough to their new home. Gideon met a girl named Kylie Wilfun. They became the best of friends, and didn’t listen when the other children teased about them being boyfriend and girlfriend. They were friends, and that’s all that mattered to them. They weren’t worried about actually being together. Gideon was attached to her, and wanted to be with her all the time. They hung out a lot, and they were two peas in a pod.

Kylie Wilfun was a brat as a child. She was an only child, so she got whatever she wanted when she wanted it. As long as she asked, she got what she wanted. Kylie didn’t really take advantage of that privilege though. She usually stuck with what she had, but she got really mad if no one would be her friend. They moved around a lot and Kylie got really annoyed with driving in the car with her siblings. She got annoyed fast, and yelled a lot. She also got grounded for the day usually. The longest she had ever been grounded was for three days. She hadn’t done anything wrong that time either. She had gotten blamed for something that her sister had done. Kylie got really mad at her sister, so she started to rebel. She hated her parents for grounding her when she hadn’t done anything. She met Gideon Stridex in 4th grade and became his best friend. She developed a small crush on him, but she didn’t say so. She didn’t want him to know about it just yet.

In the 11th grade, they had been dating for 3 years. Things happened and Kylie Wilfun was pregnant with Gideon Stridex. Kylie wasn’t mad about it. It was her fault too, and she knew it. She still liked him, but not as a lover anymore. She only liked him as a friend and a father to her child. She didn’t want Gideon in her child’s life, and told him so. Then she told her parents that she was pregnant with Gideon. They were angry, but they didn’t ground her. They helped her through the pregnancy, but they told her that they weren’t going to raise the child that was born. After nine months of total hell, Brayson Stridex was born. He was a sweet baby, and Gideon wanted to meet him. The Wilfun’s moved away to Wisconsin. They didn’t want Gideon in Brayson’s life. Brayson was a happy baby, average, but sweet. He loved to cuddle with his mom, but he cried on his grandpa’s lap. He didn’t like grandma’s lap much either, but he didn’t scream on her lap. Kylie tried to juggle school and raising Brayson. He looked a lot like his father, but he also looked like his mother. Kylie missed Gideon.

Brayson was two years old when they moved back to Washington. They didn’t go back to La Push though. They moved to Seattle. Kylie went to the college in Seattle, and tried to juggle it, because her parents wouldn’t take Brayson anymore. She had to take him to day care, but he didn’t learn as quickly there. The daycare lady didn’t have time to work with the children and actually teach them things. Kylie dropped out of college, and tried to get a job without college. She figured college would be easier when he was older and in school. When Brayson started the 1st grade, she went back to college. He had to come home and be alone for a little while, but he was okay with it. He had enough time for his homework and chores that needed to be done everyday. He was happy with his mom. He loved Seattle.

Elementary school had been a breeze for Brayson, but Middle School was hard for him. He had a hard time getting good grades, and he was teased. He felt all alone that year, and he didn’t like Middle School. His mom tried to support him, but he was having a hard time with it still. His teachers were mean, and his backpack was too heavy for him to carry. Kylie graduated from college when he was in the 8th grade. She promised him a better lifestyle, with a huge house instead of an apartment. That didn’t happen. Life just got worse from there. Though during the 9th grade, Brayson found his new favorite game, chess. He became very good at it, and almost unbeatable. There was one kid, Zero, that could beat him. Brayson and Zero hated each other, worst enemies. One day, Brayson beat Zero, and Zero couldn’t beat him anymore. Brayson went to all sorts of chess competitions and nobody could beat him, even the adults that had been playing for years, and that was their passion. Brayson was amazing at the game of chess.

Highschool wasn’t all that hard for Brayson. He was known throughout the school for being good at chess. Nobody really made fun of him. Some did, but not a lot. He was used to the homework load, and he was used to the whole schedule. Classes were easy to find, and he had a job to help his mom out. One day, his father called their house. Brayson answered, and they had a long talk about who his father was and why he was calling. Gideon just made Brayson mad. He hung up on Gideon, and wouldn’t answer. He told his mom, and she switched numbers. She was mad at Gideon for trying to join Brayson’s life after she had told him to leave Brayson’s life. She didn’t call him back, in fact, she didn’t do anything about it. Gideon didn’t know their number, so he couldn’t call anymore.

Now Brayson has a younger half sibling, a 6 year old brother named Joseph. Kylie kicked Brayson out when he was 18 years old, so he lives in La Push, Washington with his best friend, Sirius. He loves his brother Joseph, and he’s gone werewolf. He went werewolf at 18 ½ years old. So he’s pretty used to it. He’s joined Sam’s Pack because he wanted to learn how to be werewolf before he went on his own as a lone werewolf. He’s decided to stick with Sam because he just likes the pack. They are his family now. Kylie and Joseph are living in Virginia and his father is who knows where.
