Teyla walked through the streets of Forks.
She was new to this gloomy small town.
She felt people stare at her.
She hated that when everyone looked at her.
But she needed to get to know all the people in town.
She sighed, beeing new her wasn´t easy for her.

being out on the street seemed pretty awkward . or so catelina thought. the sight of the neighborhood, actually stepping out of the house and seeing everything, not just through the window seemed totally new to her as if she was a blind teen seeing for the first time. to her, it had just seemed...interesting walking around the neighborhood, although the last time she walked out was about two weeks ago.
catelina took a deep breathe and coughed. no, that wasn't a good idea to just breathe in like that, she thought to herself. she had been standing in the same area for five minutes now. she had seen people come and go, although she had seen only a few people actually walking around. and all of them seemed to just stare at her, wondering what she was doing just standing around.
the girl finally gave a sigh and began walking away from her spot. time to move on, she thought to herself and began moving away. but where to? that was the question. maybe she needed to familiarize the neighborhood again or something. but that seemed pretty ridiculous. afterall, catelina knew the neighborhood well. the idea of being outside, although she was never really too fond of it, stroke her as somehow interesting. maybe because of the lack of it, even a few minutes outside the door.
as the girl continued her walk, she began to stare at the cracks on the concrete floor. catelina placed her foot on the line and began walking, trying to walk on the line. but she didn't realize that she wasn't the only one around there. she hadn't realize that there was someone else in front of her. she hadn't realize that there was anyone there until she bumped into something solid; a person, for it she knew it couldn't be a pole or a tree. she had bumped into those things before and it definately didn't feel like it.
"whoops. sorry" the girl said and moved her hair out of her eyes. her cheeks turned a soft shade of pink as she looked at the girl, embarrased by her lack of observation.

Teyla had not noticed that girl and got a little shock as she had walked into her. Than she heared the girl say "whoops. sorry"
"No problem." she said. Than reached out her hand to help her standing up. "Are you allright?" she asked her than.

every single time that catelina bumps into a person. every single time that she encounter the same situations, or at least something similar to it, she couldn't help but fear on what could possibly happen. she knew that people wouldn't hurt her for bumping into them. or even yell at them, although that is very likely. but that couldn't be it. people on the streets that she had bumped into, or at least here at Forks, had been nice to her. so why there fear inside of her. catelina wasn't so sure.
the simple "no problem" reply of the girl gave her a small relief. but she couldn't help herself from wondering what it would have been like if it didn't end up that way; that is it had been another person that she had bumped into and yell at her. the girl shook her head. she mustn't think about that right now. no, she shouldn't.
with a hand reaching down towards her, catelina accepted it. the pink of her cheeks were still there, and for a second, she could feel them only getting hotter. it would probably take a while before it would depart her. how could she help herself from being embarrassed although this has happened many times?
"Are you allright?"
a question emerged, although not out of thin air. catelina couldn't help but nod. she hadn't spoken anything else by that time besides her pathetic 'sorry'. she couldn't bring herself to talk yet. at least not for another second. however, the awkwardness was beginning to build up inside her. why must she always feel this awkwardness? she couldn't answer. so instead of staying silent, still thinking of ways to escape, the word "sorry" escaped her mouth once again.

Teyla saw that the cheeks of the girl turned red.
So she thought that the girl felt uncomfortable.
"It´s O.k!" Teyla said.
"I wasn´t paying attention as well." she smiled.
Teyla wanted that the girl didn´t have to feel uncomfortable.

Staring from a distance watching the two girls. She knew one was a vampire yet different for some reason. The human girl's scent smelled nice. A smile smile spread over her lips. She was thirsty. Very thirsty. She leaned aganist the tree and watched carefully.

Suddenly Teyla smelled an other scent.
A vampire she knew immediately.
Teyla slowly walked away a few steps from the girl and looked around but she couldn´t see anything.
Teyla looked around than she saw the vampire sitting in the tree.
"Don´t you wnat to come down?" she asked her.
"Or do you want to hide?" she smiled.
She had smelled that this was no vegitarian vampire and so she stretched to defend.

Alex laughed at the vampire and jumped down from the tree. "Aren't you the coy one" she said with a small grin. Alex stared at this girl. She seemed diffrerent from other vampires. She licked her lips feeling her thirst rising. "Im not here to fight" Alex stated bluntly seeing the girl strech as if to fight. "Only to drink" alex said.

"Yes I´m a vegitarian." she improved Alex with a grin.
"Here in Forks we don´t let any of the humans get hurt." Teyla said. "You have to search for an other hunting ground or I have to defend this humans, your choice." she said self sure.
But she thought to herself that she had probably been to self sure, because she didn´t knew this vampire.

Alex smiled her secret smile. "Oh really, humans don't get hurt". She raised up one arm and rocks followed her movements around her. "You can't beat me you weak excuse for a vampire". she said with a snarl.

Teyla growled angrily.
"Don´t underestimate me." she said and raised an eyebrow,as the rocks begann to move.
"So you have talent?"
"And you are wrong, you can´t beat me!" Teyla said self sure.
"After all, how do you want to defeat something that you can not see" she smiled wickedly and made herself invisible. That was her Power and everything she needed because of her good Martial Arts skills.

Alex growled and bared her teeth and inhaled though her nose. "Miss Dissapear can't hide from me when I can smell her a mile away" She said. Rocks leviated along with roots from tree's as a tree was uprooted. "You can't hide from me"

Teyla tried to evade the rocks.
But Teyla don´t wanted to give up, she needed to come near enough to hit Alex. But it wasn´t easy with rocks flying to her.
She growled quietly.
"I know you can smell me but you soon notice that it will bring you nothing." Teyla said.
"Cause you are not exatly enough to hit me." she said wickedly.

Alex felt the old wounds of her past. Her rage at others and the pain it brought her to shove people who cared away. "SHUT UP.....I don't care what you say" Scremed Alex. If Alex could she might have been crying. So confused by what she was. The rocks fell to the ground. Alex stood her defenses wide open. "Your humans can live today" she mumbled and turned and walked away silently.

Teyla was surprised as Alex let the rocks fall.
She made herself visible again. Teyla shaked confused her head.
She did not understand this well. But she was lucky she had saved that humans live for a day. Teyla watched still surprised as Alex went away.
