Teyla watched the young girl that seemed like she could go unconscious in the next moment. Teyla didn´t felt well. She was normally so becarefull, with keeping her secret. But today she hadn´t been and it was a mistake she thought. Then she heared the girl say "how many vampires are out there...?" Teyla thought before she answered keeping her voice soft "I don´t know, but believe me there are a lot of them." she still watched the girl carfully. As she asked her next question
"why don't you burst into the sunlight?" "Well I can´t go into the sun... or better said I can but it´s better if I stay in the shadows humans would see the difference." she answered. She heared the girl say silently "Do you..."...drink blood" Teyl knew this question would come so she said "Yes, I do but no human blood only animal blood, but there are alot of vampires out there who drink human blood." she sighed silently. Teyla really hated red eyed vampires for killing humans. She had promised herself that she would never tast human blood. She turned back at the girl, probably she had more questions. Teyla understood why she had to ask it must be fascinating and scary at the same time for her.

You should be be careful...don´t tell anyone about it....danger...vampires like Alex are not the most dangerous thing out there the words that the young girl had just given to her a few moments earlier kept coming back to her head. they kept creeping it, trying to force themselves in her now very puzzled brain. it isn't like they just want to be there, it's more like they want to be everything that she's thinking about. they want to be the dominant thing in her brain, they want to haunt her, and never leave her alone. and they had managed to do so. they had managed to make her feel uncomfortable. they had managed to let the box where she had kept all her fears in slightly opened. catelina closed her eyes for a minute. she knew that she that would be alright if she was scared, but she didn't want to be. this fear that's starting to dwell on her is something she thought could never happen to her. it's like the fear she have when rode that roller coaster and she's strapped at her seat, with nothing but the metal rail to hold on to. she's at the top of the world, but all that she could feel is fear while everyone else felt excited, happy, thrilled. would it always feel like this? deep inside her, the girl wished that it would not. stay however long you wish for today, but please don't haunt me forever, don't haunt me in my ever single waking moment, don't haunt me in me dreams, she thought to herself. it was a fear she hoped she'll never need to feel in her life. a fear that she thought had been buried deep inside her.
"I don´t know, but believe me there are a lot of them."
her head shot up and she stared at the other girl. it is indeed true that the fear that had suddenly enveloped her had not yet disappeared. not knowing how many vampires are out there brought in more of it that she could have thought would be possible. maybe she's only underestimating her fear. maybe she could feel a lot more than she thought. maybe what she's feeling right now is nothing compared to how she will feel later on, if she even finds out the whole truth. if, the words echoed inside her head. there are a lot of them the words followed in her head that she couldn't help but shivered. "but how many are there like...like alex?" she asked her, her voice sound stronger than how she's feeling. "never-mind that" she later thought to herself. "i need to know, is there more of your kind, or alex's kind, or the others?" perhaps now, that's what she will decide to call them. 'the others' although she doesn't know how bad they are. what they are called. how they are much different from this girl and the other. why are they more dangerous? if alex's kind is not the most dangerous, then does that mean that stands in the middle of that invisible line. if alex's kind is not the most dangerous, then the other stand on the evil, and this girl's kind on the good? but who's good? are they really good at all? is forks filled with so many vampires that it almost impossible to count how many there are out there, or are the other vampires just so skillful at covering up that it's hard to tell which is which? or is it only humans that couldn't tell? do vampires have a secret language, a secret sign, a secret way to communicate with each other that they know which are which?
"Well I can´t go into the sun... or better said I can but it´s better if I stay in the shadows humans would see the difference."
catelina nodded but couldn't really understand it all. she can go into the sunlight, but she won't burst. how does that make sense? but then she had said that it's better for her to stay in the shadows. what happens when vampires step into the sunlight, if not burst? why on earth would it be better to stay out of the sunlight if they could? does the sun irritate their eyes? do they get sunburn, but not burst into the light when their skin comes in contact with it? what exactly happens? why is it all confusing? isn't there a book about vampires somewhere out there that an actual vampire had published? wouldn't it be easier if there was a guide, a book, a manual explaining all of these things to her, instead of her asking and asking, seeming like a very annoying human. she didn't like to think of herself as that but it is what it comes down to. she must be the annoying human to find out the truth, or at least part of the truth. "but what exactly happens?" she persisted, although she wouldn't be mad, not even slightly, if the girl got annoyed with her.
"yes, I do but no human blood only animal blood..."
the last question had been answered and catelina nodded once again. that's nice of her? she thought to herself, not knowing whether to be thankful, or what. it's nice that she doesn't drink human blood and all but animal? do they attack the poor little creature? she asked herself but quickly shoved the thought away. she couldn't think that this girl would ever harm an innocent animal, but how does she drink animal blood, if not by attacking it? how do they managed? she thought to herself but decided not to push it by asking all the details. the girl might as well not want to talk about it either, you know the drinking of blood. "...but there are a lot of vampires out there who drink human blood." once again, a shiver went down her spine as the last part of her sentence was transmitted through catelina's brain. she should have figured that out. in ever good news, there must be a bad news and that is definitely a bad news. when she had said that there are vampires that do drink human blood, does she mean the stereotypical vampire sucking human blood thing? when she talked about it, does she meant that those vampires were the vampires she had meant to be the most dangerous? or is there other things more dangerous than vampires feeding off of humans?
"so, the vampires the drink..." a gulp "...blood, are they the most dangerous?" the words were out of her lips even before she really had much thoughts about it, other than what she had been thinking before. ah, she really is getting to be that curious five year old girl that acts like she knew nothing in the world. everything seems to bring a little curiosity around them, that she can't help but say something. isn't that out of the ordinary? usually catelina is one to stay quiet the whole time. even at school, she would barely even open her mouth to ask questions to the teacher. but today, she would have a name tag on her with the words 'five year old girl'. catelina sighed.

Teyla smiled she saw that Catelina seemed to be scared. When she asked Teyla "but how many are there like...like alex?" and added after a few seconds "i need to know, is there more of your kind, or alex's kind, or the others?" She had to thought about it. Catelina asked her good questions, but did she have the answer to them? So she said "I don´t know it exactly but I think it is balanced." Teyla really didn´t know it exatly but she wanted that Catelina understood it.
Teyla had to smile as Catelina asked her about the sun and she answered. "My skin, starts to glitter." and had to laugh and added "That must sound strange to you, I can understand that."But after a few moments Teyla got serious again as Catelina asked her "...but there are a lot of vampires out there who drink human blood." "There are many and you have to becarefull, thats all I can say." she answered her question. As she heared her say "so, the vampires the drink..." "...blood, are they the most dangerous?" Teyla said seriously "Yes, I think so, you can´t win against a vampire if you are human." she said to her. Then added "So do you have more questions?" she understood Catelina good, she wanted to know much and she had to understand how dangerous vampires were.
