I DON'T CARE WHERE I'M HEADED ANYWHERE BUT HERE • • • • • closed for micha-ari
Weird things had been happening in the past few weeks. Leigh couldn’t say that it was the werewolf thing. She adjusted to that already. It helped that her brother was a werewolf, too. It made their bond so much closer as well. Both could tell it wouldn’t be long before Summer was one, too. Rather, they were waiting to see if the change every happened. No, her problems were far different from that. These were relationship things. Or rather, the fact that she didn’t want to be in one. It was simple. She avoided dating after her last boyfriend made very rude remarks about the fact that she had some issues. She didn’t like that all that much. Her brother didn’t like that much. Blaine became furious when he heard the jokes that were made about his sister, and she just started to not care. On top of that, her brother had explained this whole imprinting thing to her. That was when she swore unless she felt as if she couldn’t live without someone, she wouldn’t even think to start a relationship with them. It was much like a very wasted effort. If they weren’t the one she was meant to be with, she wasn’t going to chase after them.
That’s where the problem started. Leigh had met someone just the other night who said something about her being his imprint. As well and good as that was, she didn’t exactly share those feelings. She had spent much of her time that early morning pondering the thoughts of being someone’s imprint yet she not imprinting on them. Was that even possible? She had run to Blaine for all the information and he was truly just as confused as she was. He hadn’t imprinted himself anyway. So, he didn’t exactly know the feeling. She was sure she wasn’t feeling it, though. She could look at him and smile, but as far as she was concerned it didn’t go past that. She could leave him. Wasn’t part of having an imprint having that feeling of desperate separation anxiety? She imagined it would be hard to breathe the second she laid eyes on that one person. She would instantly feel the need to tell her whole life’s story. She’d want to know his. It would hurt her so deeply if he walked away and she would want to kill herself if ever if ever she made him mad and he walked away angry. She would dream about him at night and be so excited when she saw his face again.
Yeah, that was what an imprint was to Leigh. It was that person life would be unbearable without. She hadn’t found that. It wasn’t that she was blocking out. She wasn’t trying her hardest to not fall in love. She was looking for that something. It was that something she and her best friend, Micha, would sit down and talk about for hours when they were younger. It was that feeling of beig completely free and open with one person. You could be yourself completely, all the bad things included. Finding that was what she deemed impossible. She wasn’t sure of her best friends thoughts on it, her best female friend that was. Supposedly, Landon had fallen head over heels. She wasn’t going to take that away from him because he very well could have. She was going to question this one guys feelings. How could it be? Was there something she was missing? She must have been more cynical than she originally thought she was. She was hurt by her last exes comments and the things he told his friends. It wasn’t like she could fix her problems. She tried. It didn’t work. The most she could do was choose a hearing aide to improve her ears and surgery was far too expensive just for color to be put into her life.
Leigh needed someon to talk to about this. Leigh needed her best friend. Without one moments hesitation, she picked up her cell phone and intstantly wrote a text message for her very best friend. ”OMG! You know that party I went to last night? You’ll never guess what happened. Do I have stories for you? Come over and we can hang out on the trampoline or I can come there and we can find something to do. Let me know. –Autumn Leigh” She shut her phone and looked outside to the infamous trampoline. She smiled one day she, her friend, her brother, and her brother’s friends all stood around the thing watching everyone do tricks. But there was a lot more that had gone on. Leigh, Blaine, Micha, and Blaine’s friend Aaron had all laid on it one evening playing truth or dare. That was perhaps the last time Leigh ever saw Aaron after admitting his crush on her and dreams of being the one to steal her virginity. Blaine had pretty much scared him away after that one. But she couldn’t blame him. She would scare away any girl that admit to have sexual feelings for her brother. Then again, that was just her believing she knew the best girl for him. That had since changed since learning the imprint thing. Ugh! She’d kill herself if Aaron turned out to be hers. After one glance at her phone, Leigh took herself out to the backyard where she jumped on the trampoline and bounced around for a little bit. It probably seemed really immature to do that sort of thing, but sometimes she just needed to feel like a kid at times. That was why she was waiting so anxiously for a text message back. She would meet her best friend anywhere as long as they could talk and catch up with each other. Eventually, she jumped up in the air, crossed her legs Indian style, and flopped back down onto the trampoline. She bounced up and down before stopping. Now, she found herself to be bored. Boredom was never often a good thing for her. She usually ended up biting her nails. She restrained herself from putting her fingers in her mouth. Seven years of not doing it, she was not about to start the habit again. Instead she slid from where she was and walked back in and fell down onto the couch. As she was home alone, she figured it was best. If Micha came over, she was by the door when she knocked or rang the doorbell. Either way she’d have to be inside to hear it. With the television on she made herself comfortable and waited patiently for her answers.[/blockquote][/blockquote] • • • • • I DON'T CARE WHERE I'M HEADED ANYWHERE BUT HERE • • • • •

-----------------------------------------------shadows all around you as you surface from the dark, emerging from the gentle grip ofNIGHT'S UNFOLDING ARMS. DARKNESS darkness every where, do you feel all alone? the subtle grace of gravity, the heavy weight of stone. ----------------------------------------------------------- Finally things had been falling back into step. Since Michelle has been back from visiting her home country, things have seemed kind of weird but finally things seemed to be stepping back into step. She has been so restless and the raven haired girl just seemed so blah. It was so out of wack for her that she couldn’t even rush to see her best friend! It was weird if you know. Regardless her best friend is a werewolf, like that’s not weird at all, it was just weird. She needed her best friend! Without her she felt dead almost. But sad enough she couldn’t bail out on dancing again. So the visit to her friends would have to wait.
Scooting out of her bed slowly, she shoved the purple and green cotton sheets off her slender body. Micha put her feet on the cold wooden floors and it made her want to just jump back into bed and curl up under the covers. She could tell she was going to hate the hour plus dance class that the future held for her. Why did her teacher have to be an ass? If you ever noticed, the private teachers that people get seem to be really rude. Well at least 99.9% out of the time and everyone Micha has gotten have been. Dance, it WAS her passion growing up. Now it’s her parents. She could drop it in a heart beat and still be a happy camper though her parents would kill her. God she would love to just drop it.
Walking out of the bathroom, tons of rubber bands and clips in hand she walked over to the floor mirror covered with pictures and necklaces, she put her hair up in a messy bun. Surprisingly for the hair style to be messy it needs tons of clips and hair ties. It’s quite funny really. Wrinkling her nose she went straight for her black ripped tutu and the bright purple spandex to go with it. She figured she would at least be happy with what she’s wearing if she has to go through hell. Giggling she spun around feeling like a little kid. No matter how much she hated it, the outfit made her feels like a kid.
Walking back to her room she grabbed the sports bag and shoved a pair of jeans and a oversize t-shirt into it along with her black converse and her smelly good spray. You would think with ballet that you wouldn’t get hot but it’s a lie! You do, at least Micha-Ari does. Sighing once more she dragged her feet outside and headed for her car. Driving was simple. It was the soothing part for dance. She could put the windows down and just turn her music as loud as she wanted. It was great. So she thought anyways.

Micha smiled when she escaped the evil grasp of the dance teacher. She walked over to her car and the first thing she did when she opened it was grabbed her phone. Looking at it she was happy to see one message from none other that Leigh! Opening it, the girl read it quickly. Biting her lip she replied back. Of course! Your place is perfect. God I missed you and you do have stories to tell my dear. It’s been what? Two weeks since I’ve last seen you!? That is not okay you could have imprinted by now my pup. *Micha-Ari* Happy that the message sent, she tossed the phone in the passenger seat and took off for La Push. It was the town that she lived just 5 minutes out of and Leigh lived in. Since she graduated from high school and moved to the states, the blue orbed girl has been looking for a place in La Push. She loved visiting it whenever she could. It was amazing to her.
Yeah it was just a small town for the tribe but she loved it. It felt more like home than anything. Looking back at her phone, she saw no message. Shrugging her shoulders she turned the music up and let Hey Monday fill her head. Right now the band was her new obsession for the time being. As the house turned into view she turned the volume down. The famous trampoline was in view. Turning the car off and leaving the keys in, it was an old car if they wanted it they could take it she cared less, Micha walked over to the kids favorite pass time. Jumping up on it, she bounced a few times. The night of playing truth and dare rolled through her head. It was a funny night really. And to think Michelle almost told Leigh’s older brother she had a semi crush on him, but nothing more.
The thing about Miss Micha was that she didn’t believe in love. Yes her parents are in a happy marriage but it is also an open one. The idea of open love doesn’t seem very promising to her. It almost gives her second thoughts if her parents are really hers or if her sister is the same way. So she has semi crushes. They are nothing big but nothing small. It is not like she goes off and does anything with them. In fact the eighteen, almost nineteen, year old has never dated nor kissed anyone. In her whole life she has never said “I love you.” She just can’t bring herself to say words that mean so much when she isn’t sure if they are true. It’s the whole idea of getting hurt that makes it hard for her. Cracking her neck she jumped up and landed on her bum.
Looking around there was still no Leigh. Pulling her phone out of her pocket she called her pup. It was the little nickname she gave her when she found out she was a werewolf. She teases her on it and if Blaine is around she calls him puppy. Micha finds it funny when he gets annoyed with it. Listening for the ring in her head, she bounced back up and jumped up doing a back flip.

I DON'T CARE WHERE I'M HEADED ANYWHERE BUT HERE • • • • • Leigh bounced around a bit more on the childish play thing that remained in her backyard. It had been there since she was about six years old. Who would have thought that something like that would have last thirteen years? She scrunched her nose at the thought. She was nineteen years old. Not only that, she was nineteen and still found it entertaining to jump on a trampoline. Then again, it never failed her. It was always there so that she and whoever she had with her could sit in a big circle and talk. That was always the nice part no matter how childish it was. Besides, who didn’t want to act like a kid every once in a while?
For a while Leigh sat there just staring until she heard her phone buzz. Looking down she noticed a new text message and smiled upon seeing the name. She continued smiling until she read the last bit of the message to that she simply bit her lip. Well, not really to all of it. She liked the whole idea of being called pup. Imprinting? Leigh was never really sure if she wanted to do it because she didn’t want to be in love with someone who didn’t want to be in love with her. That was always her fear. It hurt knowing the one who was supposed to be made for you wasn’t in anyway interested in you. Of course that had not been the case for her at all. Yes, she had imprinted on someone and just the day before.
Tyler Miller that had been his name. She remembered him very clearly from yesterday. He certainly wasn’t the normal type of guy she would go for. Leigh preferred guys, as far as looks went, with dark hair and paler skin. She wasn’t into the locals all that much. But she suddenly didn’t care of what her interests were when she noticed him. All that mattered when she saw him was that he was suddenly very important to her. Should someone try to hurt him, she would go all wolfy on them and attack. That was how seriously bad she had it for him after just seeing him. She knew she had imprinted at that point.
However, Leigh’s fears were not realized. Tyler took a liking to her, too. Could it possibly be that this whole imprint thing wasn’t going to be as bad as she had hoped? Ha! Yeah right. It was more difficult than she had thought, but only because two other boys imprinted on her. How messed up was that, exactly? It wasn’t really fair to Jadrien or Jason that Leigh found herself in love with someone else in the end. Now, if that wasn’t confusing as hell, she didn’t know what one would consider it.
And in the end, Leigh felt as if she would have to choose. She was never good at hurting anyone’s feelings. Even still, when she doesn’t like what someone is wearing and they ask for her opinion, she tried to be as nice as possible and not say anything about the fact that she didn’t like it. She danced around the idea of it. She never made it completely obvious. She would suggest things that would make it more appealing without making it known that she hated the outfit completely. She hated conflict, anything to avoid it. Now, she was about to face the ultimate conflict. How could Leigh tell both of them that she didn’t want to be with either of them? Or did she not tell them at all? Oh, that sounded nice. She could just keep the bit of information to herself. What if they asked her out? Simple. She get Tyler involved. That would work, right? It was fool proof!
Wrong. There was no way in hell that was as fool proof as she was trying to make it sound. If anything it was a bad bad plan. She may have liked Tyler that way and all, but who was to honestly say the feelings were reciprocated. Sure he flirted and wanted to date her. He had told her that much. Pft! He didn’t have to tell her. It was just obvious that he wanted her. Ok, she sounded slightly conceded with saying that, but there was something in the way he spoke to her that just said he was wanting to ask her out. Surprisingly she wasn’t turned off by that. NO! Something really had to be wrong with her if she felt that way. Yeah, that’s right. She had imprinted on him. She was completely terrified to admit that, too, for some reason. She only wanted to talk to Micha about all of this.
Thus, Leigh had text messaged her and asked if they could meet. Leigh was never one for needing advice. She always gave it. It was true. In her little group of friends, whenever someone was having trouble, they came to her and she solved the problem. She had solved many things like boy problems, gossip issues, and family crisis’. She had heard everything in the book that she possibly could. She just never needed the help, but now she did. This was something she never had to deal with. Then again, she never had two people fighting for her and one she was truly interested in. This wasn’t one of those things that happened everyday. By werewolf standards this had to be considered odd. Who had this happen to them in one lifetime? She needed Micha.
Leigh waited for what seemed like forever for her best friend to show up. She was beginning to think that maybe this should have been planned a little better instead of just spur of the moment. But spur of the moment was more her style. It was spontaneous and she loved it that way, most days. Well, as long as she was the only being spontaneous it was fine. Then her phone rang. She squealed upon seeing the name and answered quickly. ”Where are you Micha?”
