Juno looked over the edge of the cliff with a sly smile. She'd always wanted to do this. Only it was better with a partner... which of course she didn't have. Taking in a deep breath of the salty sea air she readied herself. It was a calm night for the sea and it was high tide. Perfect in her sense. Bending her knees she jumped and did a flip in midair before diving in. The tide caught her immediatey, she'd been hoping this would happen. Riding it as long as she could was her plan. Just as she was out of breath, she pushed off the bottom and swam to shore. Looking both ways before putting her clothes quickly into her bag and shifting she shook herself.
Felt good. She'd have to do it again. Looking up at the full moon. She laid her head down on her paws to let the warm midnight breeze dry her pitch black fur. Her piercing green eyes scanned the shore line. It still loked clear. Relaxing slightly she laid her head back down and began to fall asleep. She was a light sleeper in this part of the beach was usually clear.

Jordan ran on, her heavy paws thudding against the rain soaked earth. She couldn't deal with it anymore. She couldn't stand by and watch her dad drink himself to death. Right now, all she wanted to do was run away. Maybe go to Texas, or New Mexico, or someplace with plenty of sun. Or maybe she'd run north this time. Go lay down in Alaska, and freeze to death. That would be the ultimate way to escape. The only problem was that her thick silvery coat would probably keep her from freezing, no matter how cold it was.
As much as she just wanted to disappear, she forced herself to stay in Forks. She would go to her favorite place, the beach by the cliffs, and sleep for a while. Wear off the anger, so she could think rationally and take the best course of action. She broke through the trees, and skidded to a stop, pebbles bouncing away from her paws. Her lips pulled away, and a harsh growl escaped from between her teeth. Another wolf was on her beach.
This was a werewolf. She could tell from its size. But it wasn't from Sam's or Jacob's pack. She had never seen this wolf before. She growled again, advancing on the wolf. The anger and resentment was still hot. Jordan would welcome a fight right now. She kept walking forward until she was standing right above the black wolf. Her brown eyes bore into the wolf, wondering what it was going to do.

Juno heard the low growl from a distance. Then another right above her. Staying perfectly still she readied herself before jumping up and back a deep feral growl escaping through her lips. It had been a while since she'd had a fight and she was ready. Kicking her bag to the side she positioned herslf into a predatorial stance. It felt good to be in the old routine again.
Come on... i'm ready... she said to herself. And she was. With all the werewolves on the bloodsuckers side plus the bloodsuckers being veggies... there wasn't anybody to challengs. But this was her chance.

Jordan snapped at the other wolf. This was going to be fun. For the short time that she had been a part of Sam's pack, he had stressed that she wasn't allowed to go after the bloodsuckers. And deer didn't put up much of a fight. Even after she had broken off on her own, Sam had yelled at her for trying to fight with the huge reeking bloodsucker. She was finally getting her chance to fight and let out all her anger. She backed up a few paces and lowered her head. She was trying to make the other wolf think that she was surrendering already. She waited a few seconds, then took a running leap...right at the black wolf's throat.

Juno watched as she walked as she backed away but knew she wasn't surrendering. Not with how tense she was. Just as she leaped at her she let out a blood curdling growl. Letting her in she fell back hoping she'd fall into the trap. Hoping she wouldn't catch it. If she did she'd be screwed. Baring her teeth she lured her forward, and towards her. Come on, fall for it.... she screamed internally.

Walking along the shoreline was great, espessically when the tide rolled in and the darkened sky made the beach dance with lights. Makira, in her human form, ignored everyone's call in her head. Her little group of friends wanted her back home. But after that break up, she didn't feel like facing them and their million questions. She was just about to skip the beach and walk up the cliff when she smelled a familiar smell. Juno was near. Following her nose, she stopped to see two wolves fighting. By the look of it, she knew the midnight black wolf was Juno, but she couldn't place the other one. Without thinking, or shifting, she ran up to the outskirts of the fight. "Hey Juno, what happened to our 'we only kill those who eat people' thing!?"

As she was about to give up on the trap somebody appeared just to the side of her. Makira. Juno looked over to her slightly, but couldn't answer her question. If she got distracted the wolf would kill her. Lurching forward she aimed for the other wolf's neck. Hoping she would be distracted by Makira too.

Giving up on the whole talking thing, Makira ran back a few feet and then ran back forward, jumping into the air and turning into a large, white wolf. She kept her eyes trained on the two as she snapped her jaws at Juno, trying to get her full attention. Accomplishing nothing, she went behind juno and latched onto her tail with her teeth, pulling her back. Mentally, Makira told her- "We do not, I repeat DO NOT kill other wolves!"

Jordan saw something out of the corner of her eye. She didn't turn to look, though. Doing so would be a fatal error. She kept growling at the black wolf. Suddenly, the shape in the corner of her eye became a white wolf, pulling on the black wolf's tail. What is this white wolf doing? Jordan thought. She still didn't back off because, as much as it looked like the white wolf was trying to stop the black wolf, Jordan was now facing two wolves rather than just one. Double the fun! Jordan lunged again, this time taking hold of the thick black fur on the wolf's shoulder.

Juno growled at Makira, then howled as the other wolf latched onto her other shoulder. Can I kill her now??? she demanded. Pain seeped through her as the wolf clamped down harder. She knew it was the number one rule not to kill other wolves. But were they broken if you were attacked? To her they would be. But she knew if she went any farther Makira would jump right in. And she didn;t want that.

Makira could sense the turmoil boiling in Juno's heart. Too late Juno heard inside of her head. Makira jumped up into the air, landing hard on the wolf that was attacking her friend. She took a deep bite into the wolfs fur, right at her neck. She tugged, trying to get her off Juno.

Jordan let go of the black wolf, and shook her head hard. She let out a whimpering howl as the white wolf on her back pulled on her long fur. She dropped onto her side, and rolled onto her back in an attempt to crush the wolf and get it to let go. Then something clicked in her head, and she stopped struggling for a moment. She had come to the beach to think things through, so she wouldn't do anything rash. Attacking other wolves was definitely in Jordan's book of Rash Things Never to Do. What the hell am I doing? she screamed at herself. She flew to her feet, and shook her whole body so hard, the white wolf flew several feet away. Jordan took off running into the woods, hoping the other two wolves would not follow her. When she was a good distance away, she shifted back into her human form. She was completely naked, but she didn't care. This wasn't anything new to the wolves still back at the beach. Jordan walked back there with her hands up in surrender. She just wanted to explain to the other wolves what had happened. The last thing she wanted was somebody hunting her. She reached the beach and stopped, waiting to see how the black and white wolves would respond to her sudden change.

Juno watched as Makira jumped on the silvery wolves back. At first the wolf tried to roll on top of her then, something seemed to change in her eyes. She stood again and shook. Hard. Makira landed a few yards away and she ran off. What the-. Then she came back. In human form this time. Hands up in surrender. But Juno wasn't so sure. She didn't get why she would just run off. Deserting the fight. She still wanted to take a chunk out of her. But if she was giving up she would never be able to. It was against the rules.

Makira let out a yelp as her wolf's body rolled several time in the sand before coming to a complete stop in the water. Shaking herself off, she tried to get on her paws, but noticed that through all the rolling, she had twisted her back leg. She lifted it up and shook it out, but it just made it hurt worse. Giving up, she rested and laid her head down on her front paws. She didn't take her eyes off the wolves till the silvery one dissapeared, and came back... Human. Being an empath, Makira could tell that the wolf was sincere. Or at least she hoped. Sometimes it tended to mess with her, play against her emotions. Shifting back into a human herself, Makira finally got to her feet, or foot. She had the other up, forcing her to hop on one foot. She hated being stark naked in front of others, but its not like Juno was a guy, and neither was the other wolf. So who cares? Let out a sigh of defeat, she lifted one hand in the same surrender and collapsed to her knees.

Juno watched as Makira shifted and surrendered to too. But she wasn't so sure. She wasn't the type to just give in. And with Makira in wolf form she couldn't ask what she was doing. She wasn't one to give in so easily either. And if she had just stayed in wolf form her ankle would have been fine by now. Growling she backed up.
It was an obvious sign of surrender. But she wasn't about to let her guard up. And she wasn't about to shift. It was one thing to be in wolf form in front of people (even though they were wolves) and another to shift in front of either of them. It was too embarassing. Moving over to Makira she sat in front of her defensively but slightly relaxed. And hoped she wouldn't push her away.
