Boredom seemed to be Kevin middle name lately. He didn’t have much to do anymore. He was known for being out and making trouble. But now that it is older, trouble is kiddy stuff to him. Kevin pictured up his phone. The first thing that caught his attention was the date. Not even the exact date, but the day in which was present. It was a Friday. When was Kevin ever home on a Friday? This was sad. Being that he just moved to Forks, Kevin didn’t really have friend here. And other Firday nights he would go back to his home town and visit all of his friends. But now most of them have girlfriends or are too busy. Now he was alone.
Being a vampire must have seemed like it sucked to many people who actually knew about his kind. He didn’t understand why though. He realized one of the reasons as he stayed up all night in his house looking at the walls and slightly watching the TV. There was nothing to do when everyone was sleeping besides the other life form that was out there like him. Just sitting here on the couch was making him realize who extremely thirsty he was getting. He got up and walked out his door. He knew exactly were to go.
He walked to the meadows just to get himself a little snack. He found a very pleasant surprise. A man and his horse. He didn’t understand who the hell even had horses anymore, especially around Forks. But he wasn’t in the mood for asking questions at the moment. It would only take a few second to taken them both down and fulfill his thirst. Just as he was about to spring forward and snap the animal’s neck, the man screamed. Kevin quickly finished his leap and snapped the Horse. The man became to run but had no idea what he was up against. He smiled and then quickly ran after the man and snapped his neck too. He went back and drank the blood of the horse and then finished off the man.
It was a good drink. Two meals in one, and now one around to see. This must have sucked for the man. In the wrong place at the wrong time. He smiled. He was just happy that he was full. But now he needed something else to do. It was still early in his Friday night. He walked back to his house and changed his clothes. He when walked back out the door and now knew the exact place to tend to for entertainment.
Seattle, Washington. The biggest city in the whole state, and yet Kevin still didn't think it was very big. But then again, he had been born and raised in New York City. No city was ever big in Kevin’s eyes. However, Seattle was just large enough to be deemed suitable feeding grounds for Kevin. Now, usually, he wasn't one of those creative hunters. He usually fed on some wandering hiker or escaped convict that he happened to stumble upon while lurking around forests or mountains. Not only was it much less of a hassle to let his prey come to him, but it also drew much less attention if some adventurer or convict went missing, than if some party-going young person went missing. It was also a lot easier on Kevin's conscious if he refrained from killing someone who had their entire lives to look forward to. However, something had come over Kevin tonight. He had been feeling more adventurous, more creative. He had been looking forward to a change.
Kevin had tried to quit human blood on many occasions, all to no avail. So, because he had failed to wean himself off of humans, he had become frustrated enough to figure that he just wasn't meant to be one of those Vampires and thus could do as he pleased. That revelation had been arrived at the previous day after he had given up on his week long diet of deer's and had fed on some young man that had been harassing a cashier at Starbucks. Now that he had come to that conclusion, Kevin had convinced himself that if he was going to feed off of humans anyway, then he might as well have whatever he wanted. No reason to hold back. There were a few conscious flaws in Kevin's new theory, but he was willing to ignore them all. At least for now.
Slamming the door shut, Kevin leaned against his black Hummer for a few seconds, letting his eyes sweep across the area around him for a few seconds. Kevin had decided that if he was actually going to try and be one of those creative feeders, he would completely immerse himself in the role. The car, the clothes, everything. To be quite honest, he was a bit uncomfortable with the whole thing because these days he really preferred to just be alone with a book, but he'd decided to do this and he was going to carry it out. After all, he had been incredibly bored lately, and this was something to do on a Friday night.
Stuffing his car keys into his pocket, Kevin put his hands into his pockets and started down the street. He'd parked next to a lot of cars that where waiting to get into this house party. He didn’t know who’s party it was, but being that he was rather bored he didn’t really seem to car. Something had to be of interest to him in there. He walked in and looked around. He acted like he belong, it wasn’t hard being that it seemed many people here didn’t even know the guy in charge [/blockquote]

All her life, Dylan More was much of a party-goer. When she was human, she was used to it. She was used to the scent of the life of the elite and the A-list. She was used to the glamour. She was used to the abundance of scandals here and there. Anything normal or not that was happening down this street or corner of that or whatever, just any simple spotting of a person could just bleeding to more strings of events. Any person’s simple mistake can lead to a page on the cover of a gossip tabloid-any person, that is-unless you weren’t too important to be gossiped about. As a member of old-fashioned Westchester, New York’s elite, being the toast of New York as she was long time before. She was the one who kept this old streets fun and full of gossip. She appreciated the intrigue but that night in 1940’s-late 1940’s-the biggest mistake of her own life had drawn.
She remembered how she’d shivered, wearing a simple dress, a coat, boots, a bag and looking bag lady from every sense of the word. She recalled how fast did her own heart beat! She remembered hearing the rustles of haste of different people passing by, every once and then eyeing her thoughtfully, wondering ‘What is an innocent young lady doing in a place like this?”
But then, she always thought she was no innocent young child-but in her heart was she truly. She had been clueless; unaware of the secret and clandestine mythical and magical world of vampires and werewolves, and where the real danger was. It was a rather delicious life to taste with once and then a feeling of fear and dread come over form her insides and she would bite her full white lips.
A life she hadn’t chosen to lead and live with at first. A life that was taken away from her by her own foolishness. What a waste, Dylan would think whenever she would remember the old golden days of her Westchester childhood and teenage years, gazing now and then into the vanished halls of a haunted past. Now she was in a pretty crowded place-a least impression of a party, where anything goes. She sullenly sat in a seat, looking like a human with contacts over her red irises, moving her legs once and then, and smiling coyly like an idiot. Now she had had enough of this life. She slid out of her seat, muttering an impromptu goodbye to the drunken party host and then she walked out of the house. She wore a yellow halter top, black boots, black skirt, black coat and wore her hair in a crimp. Just when she was about to go out, she collided with a vampire. He was also one who hunted with humans. Too upset, she shot him a serene look.
“Good evening, sir,” she mumbled and added, “I’m a vampire, like you.”

Kevin didn’t really know why he liked parties too much. He didn’t even like to dance. Well, mainly because he didn’t know how to dance. He remained posted on the wall all night. He definitely allowed whatever girl that wanted to to come and dance on him, but he couldn’t guarantee that it would be the best dance of her life. Walking into the place, it reeked of humans. Damn, this would be an interesting night. He mainly scooped out parties to see what it was that he would get to taste tonight. But with his condition, a party was the best place for scooping. Many people bump into each other and he could see their past. Determine whether or not they were a victim or a felon. And from there he makes his move. After a while this seemed to become a very natural thing for him. He just hoped what happened the last time he was at a party didn’t happen again. He didn’t want to see his ex. Well he wouldn’t have minded, but given the circumstances, and where he was currently at, he knew that she would be stripping here , if she was here, and that was a show he wouldn’t enjoy seeing too much.
Walking around in the house, a lady bumped into him. A fairly cute lady. He looked at her and smiled. But then something made the smile go away. No vision. He inhaled, and even though the room was filled of human smell, he didn’t smell her scent in particular. She was a vampire. “Hello” he said looking at her. Kevin got a little skeptical when he comes to talking to other vampires. Especially burgundy eyed ones. They were mean and only cared about themselves. He had to watch out for those. But she seemed a little too sweet for something like that. “I know. I can tell” he wondered if there was like a school that vampires went to. It seemed that every time he was in a party and bumped into a vampire, they would introduce themselves as a vampire. He never used this introduction, but heard it so many times. To him he thought it was stupid. What if someone was listening close by. He didn’t care too much because he would just strongly deny it, or drink that person’s blood. Not wanting to be rude, he offered his name. “I'm Kevin” he said holding out his hand.

Dylan offered him a sweet welcoming smile that was genuine and juicy at the same time. “If this is a party, then I’m here. I was actually thinking of leaving when you came here. But it only gives me the mood for a little something.” Her voice was laced with laughter and her features animated as she mused aloud of her forming ideas. Another vampire in town, eh? Nice. She hoped that he wouldn’t guess what the little ‘something’ she pointed out to was. Otherwise she knew he would get the wrong idea. Some people did get the wrong idea and some died. Her mother told her once that wrong ideas made people die-sometimes. She was a girl who was open for anything-almost anything except for making love and drugs, too. She felt like the spotlight was set on her now. As some people crowded out, she knew the party did lack in something. Not hooking up, of course, but something entirely else. The vampire named Kevin, who she bumped into was sort of good-looking too. Dylan’s mental radar was already beefing off, Weee-oohh-another cute guy and she knew her inner self would groan at the thought.
Another cute guy she met. Second, third? The first one was Jack who she flirted with, in Seattle, the other was Mick, a guy who made a big impact on her life by introducing her to being a vegetarian and telling her the best things about herself. By him, her confidence had budded up already. The third one was a guy she met on First Beach named Zacarrias. But she would have loved to call him Zac.Another one was Shawn Macleod, a Volturi guard who winked at her. He was charming and he had a lover named Sherona, who Dylan perpetually loved to ashes and ashes till dust she would fall.
It seemed so perfect for him. By the time he had opened her Vodoka bottle, she was practically whisked away by Zac’s friendliness. “Dylan. Dylan Emily More,” she replied, offering her name since Kevin had also offered his. Exchanging names was better than the wrong concept of ‘little something’ and in fact a joke wouldn’t hurt, right? Right. Somehow the guys she met made a huge impact on her life. She felt better than before. She immediately thought of a plan. At first she didn’t notice she grabbed his hand without a word and raced him in the party again. She turned up the volume of the radio to the song PokerFace by Lady Gaga. The other people began to dance.
She glanced at Kevin, trying not to smile like an idiot. “Will you dance with me?” It came out sounding like she was his good friend rather than a better stranger of all people.

Kevin wondered why he of all people made her stop from leaving. For a minute he wondered if he knew the girl from somewhere, but after taking a good look at her, he realized he never seen this chick a day in his life.Well he didn’t want to be rude either. “Something like what?” he winked back. He wondered if his cuteness was keeping him from coming. He would have laughed it that was the cause. He stood in front of the girl, slightly smiling, and looking around. He looked to see if there was anyone here that he actually knew. In particular he was looking for Arizona. After that other night, bumping into Arizona was no joke. Now he would forever have to beware. And just when he thought his futre was looking brighter, he had someone who was in love with him, someone he might have been ready to make a future with, here she came messing everything up. All his feelings for her came back, but he knew that they could never have what they once had. He wasn’t sure he was all the ready for relationships, one, and then two, she brought his heart and put him in jail, and his recent discovery, he would have been a father.
Getting off thinking about that, the girl asking him to dance. “Well I guess, but be warned I cant dance” he said laughing at her. He walked over with her to the dance floor and stood infront of her as if waiting for instructions on what to do. He started to do the basic two step and realized that that honestly didn’t go with this song. Damn he needed dance lessons of something. [/blockquote]

Dylan was one of those people who naturally was an expert on the dance floor. She was like a ballerina, studying it so much it made her Dyl, not the bitchy girl who fucked up the other girl's lives, made them miserable. She loved to dance, thanks be to God she had gotten in a hip-hop class. She didn't give a care that much whether he was bad in dancing. Besides, she was nice.
"I can change the song," she offered. She didn't want to make Kevin feel out of place somehow and somewhat. "I have a lot of tracks, you know. If anything goes with you," she huffs. She is eager to dance, her eyes flash and her face is fierce. She sure didn't give up on something. When she set her mind on a thing, she would do it. One way or another.
Just anything to escape the suckiness of the world would be enough. After all, what's to want? It was night and close to midnight. The "anything part" was dancing. Sure, she just loved to dance and she couldn't drop and get enough. But the question was still there. Was it forever or not ever in her life?
She had to savor the moment before it would like melt away like the way ice cream did once put in her mouth.
((done!))
