Lissa was born on May 30th, 1991. She grew up in Saint Louis, Missouri up until the age 7, when her father moved her family to Forks, Washington. Her father is an attorney and received a better offer at a firm in Seattle. Her parents decided they would rather have their kids grow up in a smaller town. Mr. Rosewood lives in Seattle during the week and comes home Friday for the weekend. Her mother was a local kindergarten teacher back in Saint Louis, but in Forks she decided to take on the job of a full time mother to Lissa and her three brothers.
Lissa's parents made enough money so that Lissa and her brothers could live a comfortable lifestyle. They never asked for much because they simply enjoyed spending most of their time running around the yard of their home on Merchant Street on the Calawah River Front. The Rosewood children even persuaded their father to build a tree house up in the big tree in the back yard. This would soon become Lissa's haven and hide away as she grew older. They family of six lived happily together in Forks.
Growing up, Lissa just wanted to be one of the boys. If her brothers and their friends were outside playing soccer or football, she would want to be out there with them. However, her mother, having only one girl, wanted Lissa to be the perfect daughter. When Lissa was just 6, her mother enrolled her in ballet classes. Her mother also taught her how to knit, sew and needle point. She even enrolled Lissa in debutant classes in Seattle, which would teach Lissa how to be a "proper lady." Lissa hated all of it; all of it except the dancing. She absolutely loved to dance and she knew she was good at it. She later enrolled herself in other styles of dance classes, not telling her mother. Lissa would lie to her mother and tell her that she would be at her debutant classes but while in Seattle, she would go to her dance classes.
However, everything backfired when Lissa walked onto her bus on the way back home from dance class. When the bus turned left at the light it usually turned right at, Lissa realized she walked onto the wrong bus. Unsure of what to do, Lissa decided to wait for the bus to stop at it’s next stop. Twenty minutes want by, but the bus never stopped. She no longer recognized the where in Seattle she was. She was supposed to be back at the building her debutante classes took place so her mother could pick her up, but there was no way she could get there on time. The bus stopped and Lissa quickly hopped off the bus. Looking around, she noticed nothing and had no choice but to call her mom on her cell. She had to explain to her mother everything. Mrs. Rosewood was furious and Lissa wasn’t allowed outside of the house except for school for two weeks. Her mother’s trust in Lissa was gone and this created the rift in their relationship.
Once high school started, Lissa’s best friend was her twin brother Brian. She made few of her own friends but she made most of her friends through Brian. They seemed inseparable until Brian started dating a girl Lissa didn’t get along with. Lissa was now on her own. Instead of going out and meeting new people to hang out with, she focused on her dancing and also picked up piano playing. As of now, she’s simply trying to survive the rest of high school and she hopes to apply to various colleges across the United States including Loyola University Chicago, Saint Louis University, and New York University.
Character Appearance:
Lissa is about 5 feet and 6 inches tall. She is quite slender from all the dancing she has done over the years. She has thick, wavy dark red hair, which she and her brother get from their father and bright green eyes like her mothers. Lissa normally wears her hair down or in a side braid.
She has fair Irish skin that tends to burn rather than tan. During the summer, freckles will appear on her shoulders and across her face. She has two dimples on either side of her mouth that gives her a very sweet and sincere smile. She also has a four inch scar on the inside of her right arm because she fell out of the tree house, slicing her arm open on the way down.

Personality:
Lissa regretfully has obtained the side of her father that makes her quick to judge people she first meets. She tends to observe and analyze them: whether or not they're arrogant, full of themselves, fake, pretty, smart, stupid, loud, funny, shy, rude or polite. However, she hates this about herself and has been working on it and has learned to easily accept everyone. Now she tries to be more outgoing to make up for it. She can easily walk up to a group of strangers and make friends with most of them.
She is the kind of girl that thinks playing soccer in the rain is more fun than putting on makeup. She doesn't mind being rough with the guys. In all honesty, she'd rather be around a group of guys then girls because they just bring drama to the table. She would rather avoid all drama and confrontation but she knows its going to happen regardless. Lissa likes to keep things calm and chill, but if things get too intense, she has been known to run from problems.
When Lissa makes a friend, she will always be there for them. Doesn't matter to her if they only hang out ever so often, in her mind, once a friend always a friend. And because she normally hangs out with guys, they always make fun of her for being such a mom. She gets this a lot because she always wants to make sure her friends are happy and comfortable, never taking into consideration if she is or not. Lissa is the type of girl who suppresses her feelings from everyone else because doesn't want anyone to think she's needy or vulnerable.
RP sample:
Lissa sat on the porch steps of her home. Her chin rested on her knees as she watched the trees sway in the wind. She sighed. "This is so ridiculous. Where is he? I'm going to be late for dance." She brushed a stray curl out of her face and tucked it behind her ear. She watched the trees and clouds for what seemed to be ages but nothing ever happened. She agitatedly pulled out her cell phone from her pocket: 3:18 pm. She scoffed and jammed the “2” speed dial key with her thumb. It went straight to voice mail….
"You have to be freaking kidding me Brian!" she yelled into the phone. Lissa stood on the top step and shoved the phone into her pocket. She watched the road for a moment before starting to pace on the porch. Suddenly she heard the thumping from her car's bass. She looked up to see the black Jeep Liberty rounding the bend in the road. "Finally" she muttered. She grabbed her dance duffel bag and slung it over her shoulder and made her way down the steps and over to the driveway. Lissa crossed her arms and stared irritably as she watched her brother drive their car down the road.
All the windows were down and the music was blaring. Brian was wearing his aviators and had on his usual goofy grin. His shaggy hair was blowing all over the place. Lissa was surprised to see he was alone. The car peeled into the driveway with a loud but quick screech. Lissa simply glared at her twin and he returned her glare with an even wider grin. “You’re so late! I’m already 10 minutes late for dance! You’re such a jerk.” He tried to explain himself but she didn’t listen. Instead she walked over to throw her stuff in the back seat. When she tried to open the door, however, it was locked. “Brian, grow up and open the door.” She tried again but it was still locked. She rolled her eyes. “Fine.” She then threw her duffel through the window and it landed inside the backseat with a thud.
Lissa walked back to the driver’s window and stared at her brother. “Get out” she told him seriously. He replied with the typical or what response that brothers normally do. Lissa didn’t bother to answer. She reached into the car and grabbed a hold Brian and his shirt. Brian squirmed and tried to fight back but Lissa played dirty and pulled him by his hair. She finally pulled him through the window and climbed in herself. He lay on the ground and stared up at her with his goofy grin. He enjoyed seeing her pissed off and she knew it but she was already 20 minutes late for dance by now and she really had to go. She threw the car into reverse and pulled out of the driveway as quickly as she could. She threw the gear into drive and flew down the road.
