Character's Name:Kaylee Violet Hartwell
Gender:female
Age:sixteen
Category:werewolf
Sub-Category:Jacob's pack
Sexual Orientation:straight
Family:
Kaylynn=twin sister
Tiffany=mother
Russel=father(deceased)
Character History:Kaylee was born November eighth at eleven fourty-six A.M. She was born before her sister, Kaylynn, by two minute. Her father was the parent to hold her after birth, until the doctors took her away to clean her off. Then the babies were brought back, and the parents immediately made connections to each of the babies. Kaylee grew up, slightly going through phases, but mostly staying the same throughout her life. She grew up as a daddy's girl; watching sports with him, playing sports with him. It was all in her nature. Kaylee was never really big into clothing shopping, and usually went with her dad to just get jerseys and sweatpants. Sometimes she'd go with her mom, but that would be because of a bribe, or sometimes a dare from her sister.
When she was thirteen, her parents-who both phased at the time-encountered a vampire trespassing on La Push land. It wasn't a so called 'vegetarian vampire', like the ones that roamed around in Forks and kept off their land: his eyes burned bright burgundy. Eventually, her mother found her way home, her hair frizzed up and her expression depressed. The mud on her face suggested a fight had taken place. Tiffany broke the news of Russel's death to the twins the next day, after all the poking and prodding she had gone through.
For a week, Kaylee locked herself in her room-which she luckily didn't share with her sister-and lived off the bags of chips and crackers that she had stashed in a drawer to eat when she was supposed to be asleep. For water, she would take a cup out of the drawer and hold it out the window when it was raining, which happened quite often. She refused to even talk to people outside the door, let alone come out of her room. Kaylee cut clippings about his death out of the paper. Apparently, the cover story the humans had created was that he was attacked by 'some animal.' She put all of them in a box, which still lies under her bed to this day.
In her father's will, there was something left for everyone in the small family of four. Kaylee got a pendant with three citrine gems within it, as citrine was the twin's birthstone. She has worn it every day since, and only takes it off when she showers. And even then, she stores it at the bottom of an unused drawer, and nobody knows she does this; after all, it provides more protection for the keepsake. Then the first thing she does when she gets out of the shower is dry off her neck and put the necklace on. Nobody can steal it when she's wearing it, so that's the safest place for it. Now Kaylee is sixteen, still obsessively wears her necklace, and she has finally started phasing into a giant canine. When she goes into her wolf form, she loops the necklace two times around her wrist then phases.
Character Appearance:Kaylee has pitch black hair, which is slightly wavy. Once in a while she'll die it, but it has always looked best with its natural color. The length of it depends on the last time she got it cut, and the mood she was in when she got it cut; anger or sadness usually results in shorter hair, as happiness results in longer hair. Usually she says she doesn't want anything fancy. Her eyes are dark brown, almost black, and sometimes even appear to be black in the shadows. Her skin is lighter than it should be for a werewolf, but that's because her mother was only half, and she inherited the Caucasian half of her mother.
Kaylee's wolf form is actually normal. Nothing special about it really, she's just grey. Although, being a female, she is smaller than most shapeshifters. Her fur is very thick, like her hair in human form. She's about the same size as her sister although she is just a bit taller than her in wolf form, as she is in human form. Her body in both forms is fairly slim, making her able to move rather quickly. There are werewolves that are faster, but she's still up there in the speed range. Although, in a competition of brute strength, she would lose. She has a good bite, but not a great jump, and she's not great at pushing or clawing either. Her tail is bushy, and when wagged, usually brushes on the ground.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
Strengths
+very close to her twin
+moves fast when in wolf form
+sharp teeth
+not afraid to get dirty
+love for music
+shifts quickly
Weaknesses
-temperamental
-reserved
-can't keep quiet
-doesn't think things through
-picky-with everything
-won't wear fancy clothing
Personality:Kaylee is very aloof, especially around vampires. She often gets mood swings, and usually they make her get angry very quickly, so she's very temperamental. Her volume is usually a side effect of her love of music, but sometimes it can get out of hand and become something else. Kaylee is very picky-which she got from her father-and takes forever to order at restaurants, can never pick out clothes or shoes, and pretty much can't decide on anything in general. This usually annoys her mother, but she deals with it all the same.
Kaylee isn't afraid to get dirty, and will gladly jump in a pile of mud that other girls her age would cringe at. This makes her fine with the shifting, as it gives her more opportunities to be outside where the real fun is. She, like most twins, is very close to her sister, and is very happy that she wasn't born an only child. Although Kaylee misses her father to no extent, she believes that he does live on, no matter how corny is sounds. And whenever she gets nervous, she starts to mess around with her necklace; twiddling it, spinning it around, squeezing it. Anything to comfort her.

Eliana looked down at her outfit, fixing everything wrong about it before she kept moving through the woods. Weeds snagged and pulled at her skin, leaving white scrapes all over her calves. Why did I wear shorts, she thought to herself, sighing and shaking her head angrily. She kept pushing through weeds and flowers alike, trying desperately to stay on the path that spread out ahead of her. Even with her average balance she stumbled a few times, but never really fell or got scraped up like some people would on this path. The plants were just so heavily packed around her ankles that it was hard to walk, let alone get anywhere while walking. Which made it even harder not to fall.
The trees here were so close together, that Ellie could barely see the sunlight filtering through, which meant she couldn't see the sky at all. There were almost as many trees as there were plants, mostly weeds, making it even harder for Eliana to move and navigate in this forest. The path was made of dirt, meaning it was just where people had trampled over enough plants to kill them all, so at least she knew that she wasn't going to get lost. As she kept going, sweating a bit and getting a little winded in the process, the sunlight became closer and closer, illuminating a landscape Ellie couldn't quite see, but figured was beautiful up close. There was obviously a tiny lake or steam or some kind of body of water, as the sunlight was hitting it and bouncing off, creating a beautiful shimmer effect only liquid could generate.
As Ellie got closer, the landforms, plants, and water looks all the more refreshing and gorgeous. Eliana had never hiked in these woods, but a few of her friends had, and said that hiking here would shock her. She had never worked this into her schedule, but today she had just been sitting at home private messaging a friend who had come here the day before, and had had the same pleasant surprise everybody else gossiped about. After the conversation, Eliana had twisted her father around her finger, and convinced him to drop her off here for a little hiking. She had done it for alone time, but now slightly wished with just a piece of her mind that she had invited a friend. After all, everyone deserved to see the exaggerated beauty of the woods once in a while.
When the path ended, Ellie lifted her gaze from it and her feet, only to look upon the most amazing meadow she had ever heard of, or seen in person-or in television for that matter. It was absolutely amazing, and almost unexplainable if you wanted somebody's vision of it to be perfect. "Whoa," she murmured under her breath, a naive, and astonished look appearing slowly on her face. The most marvelous flowers sprouted up from the ground, in a nearly unnoticeable pattern, but a pattern nonetheless. The whole meadow was weed free, and the trees were few, and the ones there beautiful, and providing the perfect amount of shade. The total amount of shade was almost exactly equivalent to that of the sunlight, creating a perfect balance.
Then she saw the water, and Ellie's gasp and amazement grew even larger. It shimmered and sparkled in the sunlight, wavering and rippling in just the right places. "This is prettier than a postcard," she whispered laughing, walking over to the liquid. Eliana cupped her hands and dipped them under the surface, rising them and watching her palms fill with water. She lifted them over her head and then tilted them, feeling the water slide down her face and wet down a few bits of her hair; the water even felt as good as it looked, like a million dollar sprinkler, only self worked. Grinning, Eliana sat down on a old looking log, which seemed like it just belonged there. It was the perfect bunch: not crumbling under her weight, not infested with bugs, and not rotting with time. This place was perfect, and Ellie finally understood why her friends spoke of it so excitedly.
