Christos Nikos was born on a small island just south of the southern peninsula of Greece in 807 BC to his parents Jason and Rose Nikos. He was raised in a small village that consisted of under 500 inhabitants. His father was a soldier in the village's militia which consisted of a little over 100 men. His mother was on the village's farm to help grow and harvest the food for the village. He spent his younger years roaming the island with his friends as the explored the forests and caves. For most of his life the only other people he met were members of his village which grew slowly in numbers but never exceeded 1000. Christos learned a lot by doing as there was no real schooling in the village. When he was 14, he joined the village's militia and began training with different weapons. Although he rarely ever used them except when practicing with his father or his friends. When he was 15, Christos met his first outsiders as three vessels filled with troops and supplies land on the small island. These outsiders came to recruit soldiers for a war their were fighting and said the came from the mainland of Greece. In exchange for protection and supplies, Christos and all men between the ages of 15 and 22 were taken to train. When Christos was 16, he saw his first real action in battle when his unit was ordered to defend the western entrance of the city. He would of been dead during this battle except a two reinforcement units arrived moments after Christos's unit's line broke under the large force. After this encounter Christos, trained harder and soon began to truly hone his skills with a sword and shield. Months later, Christos saw action again as his unit along with 4 other were ordered to attack an outpost. This time around Christos moved with much more confidence and skill. After Christos turned 17, he began to be used in a scouting force as he and a few others showed a real skill set for being able to get close to the enemy without being seen and reporting back important information. Despite his desire to be part of a battle unit, he accepted that this was to be his role and within a year began to excel at it. When he turned 18, he was placed in a "special forces" unit which was tasked with retrieving information about the enemy cities, defenses, and positions but also in engaging them in hit and run warfare to stall their advances or distract them.
During one of their diversion assaults, his unit found themselves caught in a trap between 5 enemy units and being surrounded fast. Of the 20 in the unit, only 7 of them were able to break through an area before they became completely engulfed by the converging armies. For the next 2 months, they found themselves on the run from two battle units. During these 2 months, 3 of the 7 four died from infections from wounds they sustained in the escape. During these 2 months, the rest of the unit had found themselves pushed deeper and deeper into enemy territory and completely separated from help. After another month of being chased only Christos and another member of his unit,Alexander, were left. However, now they were disoriented, tired, and completely lost as they were in unknown territory and had lost their advantage. Needing sleep and food desperately, Christos and Alexander took refuge in a secluded mountain cave and switched off sleeping, keeping guard, and finding food and water. Christos was asleep when he was awakened by Alexander suddenly as Alexander shouted that they had been found and an group of 30 soldiers was on their way to the cave entrance. Christos and Alexander quickly gathered their belongings and headed out of the cave and up the mountain but unfortunately were not fast enough as they were shortly engaged by their enemies within moments of leaving the cave entrance. The two of them tried to fight their way to freedom but quickly found themselves in bad shape as they were outnumbered and with their backs to the mountain face. They attempted to retreat up and over the mountain but Alexander was quickly taken down by two arrows to the chest barely 10 feet from the ground. Christos was luckier as he was only struck in the left leg. He slowly made his way up the mountain as he dodged arrows until he reached a small plateau that over looked a steep decent down the other side of the mountain. The injury to his leg made it impossible to make the climb down so he was forced to take his last stand. Christos was able to take down the first two guys that made their way onto the plateau but he did not do so completely unharmed as he took a sword to the left side of his midsection. He tried to defend himself against the next assault but the injuries slowed him down and he soon felt a blade slice across his back and into his flesh. He stumbled backwards a few steps before disappearing over the edge. When the enemy soldiers looked down, his body was gone.
Christos awoke to find himself in extreme discomfort and laying in a small hut. Over the next three days, he received occasional visits from a man. Finally after three days the pain broke and he felt renewed. When he walked outside he found he was in a thick forest that contained a few small huts and 7 individuals. Over the next two years, he lived with them as they taught him the rules of his new world. In the beginning, Christos found himself torn between his two natures, one that didn't want to harm human and the other that craved their blood. He stayed with this coven for 10 years before deciding that he needed to return home. However, he knew that it would not be the same as he had to be careful. When he returned home, much had changed as his small island was now packed with people. Walls are being built around the island for defense, it was no longer isolated from the rest of the world. Over the next seven years he was a spy and a scout for the army. He was very successful at this as he found he could manipulate his own energy to hide himself from all senses. Once people began to take notice that his appearance never seemed to change and he always vanished when the sun shined over the island, he knew he had to leave for good. He spent the next portion of his life as a mercenary for hire, as long as his employer was not an enemy of his homeland.
Christos left Europe in the 1800s and arrived in the America during a civil war. It was convenient for him as he could feed on the dying without feeling any guilt. Over the next 50 years, he participated in the southern coven wars. He left when he grew bored with the constant fighting and petty need for control that the covens expressed. In 1956, he decided to take advantage of his gift and set up his own private investigative service. As the years went on his business grew and expanded until in 1975, he turned it into a private security company. This business provided Christos with a luxury lifestyle and a steady cash flow. As the years went on his involvement in the company became less and less. Although he still monitored it and occasionally intervenes. His company soon became among the elite as it participated in legal and illegal services.

RP sample: Christos looked out towards the vast region that laid before him. It was a very peaceful scene, the combination of the forest, the mountain, and even some of the town. As he scanned the area, his mind began to flash back to the time after he had been turned. The scenery before him was very similar to that of the one he had enjoyed in Crete. He could see it now, as he began to picture the bright green forests and the massive mountains. The only difference between these scenes was that in Crete the dreary little town of Forks was replaced with the bright blue waters of the Mediterranean. It was a much more peaceful place, he didn't have to deal with humans running around and vampires and werewolves surrounding him. He didn't have to hide in the shadows to ensure others didn't know what he was. In his memory, he could remember the only sounds for miles being that of the animals that occupied the region. So odd to think that over the centuries he had too few peaceful moments like this.
His mind snapped back to the present as he heard the woman speak. Her voice was like a sweet melody and was very pleasing to his ears. Christos looked away from the scene before him and towards the woman. He studied her for a moment, trying to get a read on this woman. He noticed that she was a very beautiful woman, even more so than most of the female vampire he had encountered. Her ruby lips seemed even more vibrant because of her flawless pale skin. "It is indeed" Christos said as he watched this woman for another moment before looking back out towards the forest. As he stood there, he felt a breeze blow by him and it was immediately followed by an intensely sweet smell. He felt his body relax slightly but soon shook his head and returned to his normal stance. He didn't like to let his guard down, especially in this town. He never knew when some young vampire or pup would try and prove their strength by attacking another supernatural creature. He glanced back down towards this woman for a moment again. This was the first moment in a long time that he felt at such peace since standing on the mountains in Crete. There was something about this woman, something interesting.
Christos thought about her next question for awhile before answering. What brings me here? the question played over and over in his head. There were many was to answer this question, many reason that brought him here but none that he was willing to share with her. "Searching for something, I guess. But do not ask me what because I do not have the answer yet." He said as he took a few steps down the mountain. "Do you mind If I ask what you are doing here?" Christos said as he glanced back at the woman, who remained still like a statue. "Or at least, for you name?" he said with a slight smirk on his face. "How long have you been in this dreary town? I have noticed many vampires and werewolves but never you. And I believe I would remember if I had." he said as he tilted his head downwards as a sign of respect to her.
