i already forgot your namebut a name's just a string of letters• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • When Samara was younger, and she could barely remember it, today, she would have very vivid dreams of herself and some little boy that was almost the mirror image of her playing outside in the front yard. It was nothing exciting. It started out like some sort of game of tag. She would slap his arm quickly and then run before he could turn around. He caught her behind a tree. This game continued for a little bit until they both grew tired of it and agreed to do something else. Samara yelled to him that she would get something out of her of the house. She skipped her way inside, grabbed something, and skipped back out all to see the said boy missing. Instant guilt ran over her. She should have saved him, but she was little. She didn’t know what to do. All she could do was yell for her mother and father. That was part of the dream she always woke up at, too. She woke up when she ran inside because fear and guilt always came over her in an instant. Samara would have her parents stand over her as she was screaming out loud. Eventually, the dream went away. She forgot about it, until now.
Samara knew she was tossing and turning in her sleep. It started off the same way it always did. The only thing different was that she did not wake up at the part she always had. Samara stood there and looked around as though someone or something would be right there for her to chase down and save the boy. She turned around to see if her parents were going to come out to rescue her to help. Instead someone she didn’t know was behind her. He had the creepiest smile on his face. Her dream flashed back to an older, panicked Samara. Her instinct was to run. In reality, she was never a track star, but she held her own in gym and knew how to run fast. However, in her dream, she started off at her normal pace, but eventually became sluggish as though she had mud up to her knees and was trying to run from it. Next thing she knew someone grabbed her from behind and shoved her into a car. Red eyes were the last thing she saw before she woke with a jolt.
”Are you ok, Samara,” her younger brother questioned. Who knew a nap on the couch would lead her back to her childhood nightmares. ”You were kicking and mumbling things under your breath like ‘Mommy! Daddy!’ I had to go get them.” She lifted her head slightly and saw her parents standing there staring at her. ”Yeah, I’m fine, just a dream.” She fell back on the couch and soon moved herself to be sitting up. Ryan, her brother, returned to what he was doing. Her mother sat down beside her. ”A dream that stirred you like that? You hadn’t had one of those since you were nine.” She glanced over at her mother. ”Yeah, I know. It was that dream again, too.” Her parents both looked over at each other in shock, almost. ”What? Did I do something wrong?” Her mother looked at her and smiled. ”In having a dream? No, sweetheart, you’re perfectly fine,” she moved to get Samara’s guitar from its spot in the corner against the wall with other band equipment, ”You told Jordan you would meet him at the school to practice for that talent show coming up. Go put it in the case and I’ll drive you there” Ugh! She hated having her parents drive her everywhere, but they could only afford one car and her mom had something to do after she dropped her off at the school.
Without a moment’s hesitation, Samara took her guitar, jumped up from the couch, and ran upset to put it in its case, put on her jacket, and slip on her shoes. ”Ready, Mom.” By the door her mother waited and off they drove to the school. The conversation was pretty quiet. Then again, her mom loved to hear her hum. She got really into the music that played in her head, and for some reason her mom enjoyed it. The wheels were always turning in her head. She always had some new idea for a song going through her head. It was never ending. That was what made her band mates appreciate her so much. She always had some new idea for them. ”No one’s here.” Samara sighed as they drove in front of the school, ”He said he would wait outside. I’ll just text and wait for him. He can’t be that much longer getting here.” Her mom nodded, ”Ok, call me when you need me.” In seconds, Samara was out of the car and sitting in front of the school. ”I’m waiting for you, Jordan. So, get here soon. It’s freezing out.”
However, it was not too cold that she couldn’t pull out her guitar and play. Nothing, not even frost bite could stop her from playing. Plus, what better time to practice on the song they wanted to do for the talent show, right?[/blockquote][/blockquote] tag • shawn status • complete word count • 870 lyrics • the dressing room breathe carolina credit • AMANDA IN WONDERLAND !? @ caution

held hostage no bailno randsom..to frail starvingthere's no healing dried out..there's no bleeding• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • There was something oddly familiar about this place. Shawn looked around at the place, he had vague dreams of passing a place like this. He had always been floating over everyone, but it was still familiar. It always came to him as a nightmare because he, as a younger child of course, was always playing with a little girl. He knew her name, her name was Samara, and she was the spitting image of him. Shawn knew her face, but he didn’t know how he knew her face. Maybe imagining he had someone who cared about him is what had kept him going all those years in that dreadful house. Shawn was now on a bus on his way to a town called Forks. It was in Washington State, a place that he seemed to vaguely remember. He tried really hard to think about how he knew it, but nothing seemed to be coming to him. Shawn looked around, his blue eyes finally landed on Jayleigh, she had been just as scared as he was. Shawn never thought he would actually have the nerve to runaway from Selena and Toby. He was always looking over his shoulder to make sure he wasn’t being followed. He didn’t want to be found, but he was pretty sure they wouldn’t come looking for him because they didn’t want the world to know that he and Jayleigh had been kidnapped as children. Shawn felt so useless, and like a little kid.
Shawn had never actually experienced the outside world. He had been brought up in a house, well, more like the basement of the house. Hard, cold floors, and it still gave him nightmares. Nightmares of Toby coming down there, and doing things to Shawn. Shawn never figured out if Selena knew what Toby did. Maybe she did, and she thought it was good punishment for him. Shawn had learned after two years of living with them that it was best to just keep your mouth shout, and not say anything at all. Shawn still had his recent bruise that he had received from Toby when he was running. He had clipped him right in the shoulder, it had hurt bad, but Shawn knew he had to keep running. For his and Jayleigh’s sake. Shawn sighed, and looked out the window of the bus. Jayleigh was right next to him with her blonde hair tumbling around her shoulders as she slept. She looked so young, and peaceful. They probably looked strange because they were so young, and together. Shawn stretched his legs out in the aisle, and rest his head against the headrest. It was time for him to get some shut eye before arriving to Forks. He checked his watch, and knew he had at least an hour to nap, and then checked to make sure he had enough money for a hotel.
Shawn closed his eyes, and was quickly hit with a strange dream. He was flying over head like always, but it this dream seemed more modern or something. Like it was the present and not the past like it usually is. Shawn moved his head to the side, and looked while a pretty young girl got out of a car, and waited. Shawn wondered what she was waiting for. She was pretty, not that Shawn was attracted to her. He never seemed to have that pull to females, he was more of a guy person. Maybe it was because of what happened with Toby, maybe not. Maybe he was genetically altered or something like that. That would be so creepy. Soon enough Shawn felt a gently push of someone, and he about jumped out of his skin. Shawn looked to see it was just Jayleigh. Shawn gave her a small apologetic smile, and realized why she had waken him. They were here, they were actually in Forks, Washington. Shawn smiled, and grabbed what little stuff they had, and asked someone where the nearest hotel was.
He soon found it, and checked them in. He told Jayleigh that he was going to look around town, and that she should rest up. First though, he took a quick shower, and changed his clothes. He kept the same jeans though, just a different shirt. He and Jayleigh really didn’t have much. Shawn knew that he was going to have to find a shelter of some sort, and see if he could get Jayleigh some clothes. Then he also knew he was going to have to get her into school. He couldn’t just keep her out of it. Shawn himself had never been in a public school. He had always been home schooled, and was kidnapped too early in his childhood years to have gone to a preschool of some sort. Shawn smiled sweetly at Jayleigh when he got out because she was already passed out on the bed. He walked out, and headed in any direction, not really knowing where to go.
Thirty minutes he found himself standing in front of a building. He looked over at the sign, and it said Forks High School. Huh, he wondered if that was where he should register Jayleigh. He was fairly sure that he had to have some sort of papers to get her in. Shawn scratched his head, and started to walk around the building. He stop short because he was staring at the same pretty girl that had been in his dream. Shawn looked around, and pinched himself to make sure he was awake, but when he did so, he winced. Yep, he was awake. Shawn just let his blue eyes look at her stupidly. She seemed so familiar to him.

i already forgot your namebut a name's just a string of letters
By this point, Sarama had pushed all thoughts of her dreams behind her. It wasn’t as though she knew what her dreams were supposed to mean. Her mom had tried to figure it out for her when she was younger, but Samara had long since lost that curiosity. Her main concern these days was school. She was smart, but she had to work to be smart. So, she really wasn’t smart then, was she? Now she was confusing herself. Whatever! What did confuse her, though was the fact that she had the dream in the first place. She was really little the first and last times she had that dream. The one time she had anyone analyze her dream someone told her it was probably some sort of traumatic experience she had been through. Then she wondered exactly what she had been through. Upon asking, her parents simply told her that she was crazy and nothing bad had happened to her. She just thought it was one of those stupid reoccurring dreams. However, she wasn’t sure it could really be called at anymore as she hadn’t had it in the longest time. It was just weird that she was all of a sudden. It had to mean something, and, judging by the looks on her parents’ faces, she was pretty sure it meant something. She really wished they would tell her something. She felt almost as though she was missing out on something she should know. She really did not need that sort of distrust in her parents.
Samara did her best to let it go by focusing on something else, like tuning her guitar strings. It didn’t matter how much or how little she played it, she always had to do that. It was also an amazing way to keep her mind off things. When she was irritated with her best friend, when her brother was getting on her nerves, or when she was mad at her parents all she had to do was pick it up and tune it and get her mind in order. But the above didn’t happen a lot, well, minus her best friend. It wasn’t that he irritated her. He always did things that put him in bad situations and Samara was always the first person he called. She learned not to mind that so much. It was just normal to get that calling asking if she could bail him out of some weird situation. Still things did often get strained in her life and there were times she wanted to throw hard objects and him…and everyone. That was when music took center stage and everything she had to do and the people she knew took a backseat. Just like right now. The world around her was very unimportant. It wasn’t like anything life changing was about to happen to her, right? Aside from about an hour ago, nothing special or big had happened that signaled any sort of big change. Her grandparents were ok the last time she spoke to them and things seemed to be fine.
What Samara didn’t intend on was something that had been kept from her her entire life coming back to haunt her, or surprise her depending on the way people chose to look at it. She trusted her parents. They raised her, after all, and gave her everything she ever wanted. All she had to do was ask and it was hers almost instantly. She was their first born and their little girl. She trusted them. They had never given her a reason to believe anything was false. They took care of her and put the roof over her head. They provided her with food, and, if it hadn’t been for them, she wouldn’t be playing the guitar she currently held in her arms. Her parents were her main support system. She was her daddy’s girl in every way and best friends with her mother. Why would she ever believe that they had some big secret to hide from her? Yeah, they whispered when it came to her birthday and there was a slight bit of sorrow for so many years, but she just added it up to the fact that she was a whole year older. Parents got teary eyed at that, right?
Needless to say, Samara didn’t take any notice to when a new person had shown up at the school. She only barely saw the person, but she knew someone was there. But she knew it wasn’t her friend she was waiting on because he would be next to her by now instead of just standing there looking at her. He stared at girls he had admired and found attractive and date worthy. The two had concluded about a year ago that they would never make it as an official couple. So, this was definitely someone she didn’t know, but he must have been coming up to the school for a reason. ”There’s no one here,” she answered quickly, ”Well, the principal is here. He opened the door for a friend of mine and me. If you need anything he’s…” She looked up at that time. She had been too busy tightening the strings on her guitar to look up, but she was shocked to see the person in front of her.
There before Samara was the same boy that had always been in her dreams. He didn’t exactly look the same, but her dreams always had a slight blur to them. However, she was pretty sure that he was the one. She caught herself from hanging her mouth open, and stood up slowly, allowing her guitar to sit on the steps. ”Oh my….” she whispered under her breath. Now, she was pretty sure she was missing out on something. How was she supposed to remain calm? This wasn’t one of those situations when she could. She had to think of something to say instead of just standing there. ”Um?” she shook her head, ”Do I know you?”

The fact that Shawn and his sister managed to escape from those people shocked him. The one thing he knew for sure is that they wouldn’t report them as missing because if they did that then there might be the slight chance that the police would put the pieces together in their really missing person’s case. Shawn doubted that they would be smart enough to put those pieces together though. Shawn could only imagine what would happen if they caught them again. They’d probably end up dead, well he would at least. They didn’t like it when you misbehaved, and to them Shawn did the worst of the worst. He’d heard their speeches so many times it wouldn’t chock him if he just started to repeat it to them. That might earn him a nice slap to the cheek. They-being Selena and Toby-always had something to hit Shawn for. They obviously made a mistake by choosing to take him from his home wherever that was. He held on the those little memories he had of his first life. The one that seemed so sweet and were he didn’t have to worry about whether or not he would live to see another day. It was a life that was filled with happiness, and a girl Shawn could vaguely remember. The most he knew was that they had a special bond, if he even knew her. It could be just a slip in his imagination. Shawn did that a lot when he was locked down in that basement on days end with nothing better to do. If she was real, then she was what kept Shawn going. His little mind was focused on seeing her face once more when he was younger. But as he grew older, Shawn stopped believing that he would see that face again. There was only flickers of hope for him. He remembered as a child that he would call out a name, Samara, that was the name. Was this the name of the girl that he hoped to see the face of? It was possible, but Shawn didn’t know. He didn’t remember much of his previous life, but he knew that he had a family somewhere. They were a dim light, but he was focused on finding them.
Shawn scrunched his nose, and thought for a long moment. He didn’t have a clue on how to register someone into school. Hell, he didn’t even know when Jayleigh had been born, he could barely remember his birthday. Selena and Toby never told them their birthdays. Shawn supposed he could make one up, but he didn’t like lying to people. He couldn’t very well walk in there and say that he and his ‘sister’ were kidnapped at a young age, so he didn’t know her information. Shawn knew that there was a lot of paper work involved with enrolling someone into school, and well, Shawn just didn’t have those sort of papers. He doubted he could afford to get them either. They were like issued out when they were born or something like that. Either that or Selena and Toby had all their information. That wasn’t something Shawn had been thinking of when he grabbed Jayleigh and ran like crazy. He just thought about he wanted to get the heck out of there as fast he could. Shawn had no idea what he was doing. He didn’t know how to raise a kid because he was just a kid himself. He didn’t have a job, he probably couldn’t get one either. He had no proof of who he was. Crap, this really sucked. Shawn had no way of providing for Jayleigh, no way to get her an education. Well, this sucked a lot. Shawn should have thought about this before he showed up at the school because he was going to look like an idiot. He could get stuff from the store to teach Jayleigh with, but he didn’t want her to be in a hotel all the time. It would be like when they were with Toby and Selena. He didn’t want that for her, no he wanted her to make friends and be a social butterfly like she should have been when she was with her real family. Shawn wondered what it would be like for him if he was still with his real family. Would he be the way he was now? He doubted it. He’d probably be shy, but he’d have friends and things like that. He wouldn’t be super nervous to talk to his parents, or make a noise. He was pretty sure they wouldn’t smack him around, and abuse him. Shawn sighed, he wished desperately for that kind of life. He didn’t want this life anymore, he didn’t want a life on the run either. He just wanted a normal life, but he knew he wouldn’t get that. Not now, not ever. It didn’t seem fair, but life wasn’t fair, so it didn’t matter. Life hadn’t been fair to him or fair to Jayleigh. Life wasn’t fair to Selena and Toby, the people who wanted kids but couldn’t have any. The ones who had been declined by an adoption agency. He didn’t feel pity for the people who took him from his family, he just felt that they should have found a different way then taking someone else’s kids. That wasn’t fair to their families.
Shawn listened to what the girl was saying. He wasn’t staring at her anymore, just glancing. She looked so familiar to him, but he didn’t know where to place her. Except from his dreams, but that wasn’t possible, was it? That this girl was actually from his dreams, the one he wanted to see. The girl who had kept his hope alive for so long. Shawn didn’t believe, it was impossible. Sure, he felt an odd connection to this girl, but she wasn’t from his dreams. She wasn’t, his dreams were blurred. But in his heart, Shawn knew that this was the girl he had seen when his eyes shut. So, the principal is in the building? Shawn would feel very stupid if he asked what that was. Context clues Shawn, he thought to himself, use what knowledge you do have. Shawn’s glance became uneasy. Shawn didn’t have very good social skills, so he didn’t know if it was normal for people to stop in mid sentence. He looked at her, opened his mouth to speak, but nothing came out. He closed it with a snap. He wanted to move forward, but his feet wouldn’t move. Shawn watched her get up and set her pretty guitar on the ground. Hm, she shouldn’t do that. She might damage it. Shawn shook his head at her words, then said quietly, ”I don’t think so.” Shawn moved forward a little, trying to get a better look at the girl. She was just as pretty in life as she was in his dreams. She was different, that’s for sure. She was older in life, Shawn’s memory of the girl was when they were both younger. ”I’ve seen you before, in my dreams,”

i already forgot your namebut a name's just a string of letters
This was a whole new level of awkward if you asked her. Samara, since she was little, always had dreams of the little boy that was kidnapped. She had no clue who he was or what the significance of the whole dream was. It was weird to her. Dreams were neither supposed to be vivid, nor come true and be standing in front of you, staring you up and down. Dreams were supposed to be suggestive and mean something. That didn’t mean they were supposed to play out. Of course, this one wasn’t exactly playing out. For starters, it had always happened when she was two and in her front yard. She was clearly much older and at her school. But the fact that this person was even standing there had to mean her dream was real. But who was he? Samara was so confused. Her parents never talked about a little boy that had been her very best friend getting kidnapped. Then again, she never bothered to ask them. After a while of them telling her she only feared something would happen to her younger brother, she stopped even bothering talking to them about it. The dreams had stopped until today. Now she was searching her brain for something. There had never been anything, that she could remember, that her parents said to indicate that she may or may not have known the boy standing there in front of her. And now it was making her angry. They should have told her something, if there was anything at all. If this was a friend, a relative, or just some random neighbor boy who happened to be hanging out with her for whatever reason, Samara’s parents should have told her. Now, she was going to have to ask him every question she could think of to see if there was anything pointing to him in her memory. But if she couldn’t remember from when he was two, who was to say he would remember anything? It was worth a try, though, but she wasn’t exactly sure how to ease into it. She didn’t want to scare him, though she had a pretty good record of being a tad bit overbearingly friendly and annoying people.
Samara gasped. Oh great, now he had the same dream she had had. ”You were kidnapped,” she mentioned casually, ”We, um, we were playing in my front yard, like tag I guess. I had something I wanted to show you. So, I ran around the house to get it. I was gone for two minutes. When I came back you weren’t there. There was just this van driving away from the house,” she paused for a moment, ”That dream?” She was really hoping he didn’t say yes, but before he could she just spoke. It was as though she couldn’t stop the words coming from her mouth. ”You know, I tried chasing that car and yelling your name. Shawn? And then I remember telling my mother you were gone, and she just bawled. I don’t know why because I don’t know who you are or the importance of it.” Samara wasn’t expecting him to help her figure out anything. No, she was going to have to have a long talk with her parents about this. They were the ones who would have to explain things to her. How dare they keep something important to who she was from her for fifteen years? Then again, if this boy was actually kidnapped, they probably never figured he would ever be important to her life, especially if he wasn’t found. She was willing to bet he was never found and deemed dead. That being said, of course they never thought to tell her about it, but they should have, even if he wasn’t part of her life. She could at least apologize to his family for not having kept a closer eye on him and assuring nothing happened to him. Then again, she probably would have been kidnapped, too. Two missing children was horrible. Still, there was that tiny possibility that maybe neither of them would be gone. They would both be living happily with their families. Then again, maybe she was over reacting. She considered that and laughed about it, in her head, of course. Samara didn’t want to look stupid. She didn’t want to make him think he was making fun of her. That was the last thing she would do to anyone. She liked having friends and did her best to be nice to everyone. But she wasn’t sure if meeting each other this way was nice because it suddenly infuriated her. She had questions. Of course, none of these things were for the boy in front of her. They were for her parents, the people she suddenly felt betrayed her. She didn’t want to be their daughter anymore. Sure, they had given her the world and did so very happily, but they weren’t telling her everything, she felt. How was that fair to her? But she had to remain calm and friendly. She didn’t want this boy upset or scared. So, she managed to put on her best smile for him. It was the least she could do for him.
”I’m Samara, by the way.” She felt like she owed it to him to introduce herself. It wasn’t like it was his fault that she was mad like she was. She just happened to get a tad bit fiery when she felt like she was being betrayed, which wasn’t honestly that often. Actually, it was more often that she didn’t feel that way. Still, she was afraid she would come across as mean, though she was pretty sure she just stood there looking absolutely dumbfounded. This was different and new for both of them. And she had a lot of questions. There was no doubt in her mind that he did, too, but she had a hard time letting him get a word in edge wise. Her curiosity took over instantly, and she couldn’t stop the flow of words that came out of her mouth. ”Are you from Forks? La Push? Do you have family here? Where are you from? What brings you here?” She had to force herself to stop. ”Sorry,” she quickly apologized. He was going way to fast for any normal person to think. She only scared him more she figured. He sort of looked like one of those people that didn’t really get out much. It was funny because she was the exact opposite. Every chance she could get she was out of the house. She was the resident social butterfly. It wasn’t like she went out and got drunk, though. That was completely unlike her. She just liked to get out of her house and do things, even if it was to rehearse for some silly talent show. It was the little things that made her happy. However, this boy kind of seemed like he had been disconnected from the world, the total opposite of herself.

Shawn Adam Goniter ’Cause I‘m standing here alone trying to make this life my own. WEARING ?! STUCK IN MY HEAD ?! Shawn wasn’t really sure how he was suppose to react to this whole situation, it wasn’t he sort of thing. He felt very uncomfortable, and he didn’t like it. It was like a cruel joke or something, like people just wanted Shawn to suffer or something, and he was thinking that those people were very mean. He didn’t like that he had to be back here, but he felt a draw to this place, he didn’t understand it or why it wanted him to come here. It just did, so Shawn followed it. Shawn was starting to think that it was a bad idea because he didn’t want to find out what happened to him when he was younger. He didn’t want to know what he missed out on, it would make everything more painful, and Shawn didn’t like to be in pain. Honestly, Shawn didn’t want to know who his real family was because he knew that they had given up the search on him, and that they had probably moved on with their lives, just like Shawn should be doing. He should be trying to figure out to get Jayleigh a normal life, not worrying about the stupid dream he had as a kid, that was just a fantasy, it couldn’t possibly be real. Shawn knew that he couldn’t trust things like that, he didn’t even know why he had kept the idea of meeting his real family alive for so long. He was grateful that he had because it had kept him alive this whole time, but now that he was out, it was time for him to move on. He had a nice little family with Jayleigh, she was the only one he needed now. He didn’t need any of these people here, but when the girl started talking, Shawn was drawn back into the dream of finding his family.
Shawn also had to wince at her first words, ”You were kidnapped, she said it so casually, like it was nothing. It was something, he had been deprived of his life because of two selfish people. Shawn didn’t say anything about, he just let her keep going to see what she had to say. So far it was down to a T, which was a surprise, no one knew how he had been kidnapped. Then again, a lot people don’t understand how kids are kidnapped. That’s what happens when parent’s don’t watch their kids, people come up and snatch them. Not that Shawn was blaming his parents, who ever they may be. It wasn’t their fault, but it certainly wasn’t his fault. It was no one’s fault, but Selena and Toby’s. they wanted a child so badly, and were willing to do anything for one. That meant taking one from someone else, and not treating that child right. Shawn was pretty sure the only reason he was so abused by Selena and Toby was because he refused to be their son. Jayleigh on the other hand had it much easier then he. She behaved and did what she was told, but Shawn had been more resistant until a certain time. After awhile he had just given up on fighting them. Before Shawn could answer her question, she kept going. Shawn didn’t know that someone had chased the van, but that’s probably due to the fact that he was inside the van blindfolded. Shawn frowned for a moment, then said, ”Um, that’s pretty much my dream, minus the running after the van seeing as though I was in the van. All I remember is someone grabbing me, and I was shouting, but no one came.” Yeah, that memory was painful for him, he’d always thought that no one had cared, but someone obviously did. But Shawn didn’t know this girl’s mother, so he didn’t know why she would cry.
Shawn smiled hesitantly at the girl, Samara. ”I’m Shawn,”
obviously she knew that, but he wanted to make sure. He wasn’t sure what good it would do if he didn’t know anything about where he came from. He scratched his head for a moment thinking, trying to go back to when he was like two. It was hard to remember that far back, especially when you didn’t want to remember. That’s how it was with Shawn, he didn’t want to remember what had had happened that day. It just seemed too much for him to handle. He didn’t want to think about that day, or anything for the past fifth teen years for that matter. Shawn wanted a fresh start here in this town, and hoped he was going to get it, but he could see that this was probably not the case. He was far from getting that fresh start, he could tell he was going to have to endure the past, though he didn’t want too. There was something about this Samara girl, yes, she scared him to death, but she seemed so familiar. Shawn just didn’t know where to put her face. He did know one thing: she was from his dream, but he didn’t know her importance to the dream. Shawn listened to all her questions, and decided to take them one at a time, though she had bombarded him. ”It’s okay, I would do the same thing in your shoes,” he shifted his feet, and glanced around for a moment. Shawn scratched his head, trying to think of whether he was from Forks or La Push, he was pretty sure it was Forks. ”I’m not quite sure where I’m from, I think it’s Forks. As for family, I have no idea, I don’t remember them all that well,” Shawn paused, and thought about where he was from. ”I’m from a plain room, where I was chained up to a bed when I did something wrong, but being state and city wise I’m from Oregon. I don’t know the city name.” Shawn knew he shouldn’t have said the first part, but he couldn’t help it. He felt bitter, not towards this girl of course, but towards life in general. The next question Shawn didn’t really know how to answer without sounding weird, and this whole situation was already weird enough. ”Well, it’s kind of a long story, but the main reason I’m here is because I’m not wanting be found by Selena and Toby. If they found me, they’d kill me. Oh, and Jayleigh, she needs a somewhat normal life, and I this place just popped up in my head.” Shawn sort of shrugged, and shoved his hands in his pocket and looked around. This was not something he expected when he got here, to meet the girl that had been in his dreams for so long. Not romantically, he didn’t see this girl that way. She was pretty, but Shawn just didn’t think of her as anything more then maybe a friend. It they ever got past the awkward part. ”What about you? Are you from here?” Shawn raised his brow curiously. He could ask questions right? [/blockquote][/blockquote] TAGS?!
