Tell me where our time went and if it was time well spent. Many times before, Beagan had been in this situation. The one where her step father and mother argued, and they got her in the middle of it. It sucked a lot, but someone had to stop them from fighting. Of course, Beagan tried to be reasonable with them, and make them see that they were both wrong and right. It lasted for a few hours, then they were back at each others throats. Beagan wondered why they were even together still. They never got along, and it seemed that they hated each other more and more everyday. She was pretty sure that they only stayed together for their young children, yeah, her step father got her mother knocked up so many times, it wasn’t even awesome anymore to hear that she got pregnant again. Beagan would just smile, and say, “Yeah, that’s awesome. Boy or girl?” Her mother was one of those people who got bored with something easily, and in this case, it was children. Hence why she had so many. Beagan was one of many kids. Her two eldest sister moved out about a year ago, and Beagan was eagerly awaiting her chance to move out with them, which should be soon. But, knowing her mother, Beagan wouldn’t be able to move out till she was at least nineteen. Even though her sisters Jezebel and Randy moved out when they were both eighteen. Beagan believed this to be very unfair, and hated the fact that she would have to be stuck in the house with these crazy people two more years. The only reason she would even think of staying would be because of her siblings. She didn’t want to have them be stuck in the middle of arguments like she was. She could handle it because, well, she had been handling that stuff since she could remember. She wouldn’t wish that fate on the young ones no matter how annoying they got sometimes. Beagan had been grateful when her older sister moved out because she had been able to get a room to herself, and didn’t have to worry about waking up Devannoah and Bryson.
As the oldest in the house hold, it was Beagan’s responsibility to wake up all the kids that went to school during the week days. She was to feed them, make sure they all got showers, and had all their things for that day. To do all this, Beagan woke at three to her alarm clock blaring her favorite music. She rolled over, and slapped the turn off button, and rolled out of bed. Even when Randy and Jezebel had lived with them, Beagan still did this. Those two were just so lazy, but she loved them anyways. Beagan took a quick shower, then quickly got dressed for this up coming school day. Beagan was the pride and glory of her mother when it came to school, and being a model student. Her mother was so oblivious to things, and it sort of irritated Beagan. She didn’t like that she had to go out of her to get her mom to notice that she did like to goof off. Beagan couldn’t help that she had been pressured into getting good grades. It was like since the other two didn’t do so hot, Beagan had to do better. When she did get a bad grade, her mother would go off and cry. Before she would do that, she would shout at Beagan, “You’re going to become a whore if you don’t do well in school!” Then her mother would go off and sulk in the bedroom that she shared Beagan’s step father. Bobby, her step father, was a little less dramatic then that. He would calmly say, “I know you can do better Beagan.” Bobby was the only male figure beagan had ever known, she didn’t just call him ‘Bobby’, she called him dad, or father to his face. Bobby didn’t like the term dad, he believed it was too nice, and friend like. He thought father sounded more firm. Beagan thought about all of this when she was getting dressed, she didn’t normally think about this sort of thing when she was getting ready. She slipped on her skinny jeans, and t-shirt. Afterwards, she traveled down stairs to begin cooking breakfast for the younger ones.
She made the usual for certain kids, cereal for Jayson, Poppy, and Devannoah. Bryson and Gabael liked oatmeal, they were into steamy meals. Beagan whistled lightly while she worked, when she could hear Bobby rummaging around in his office. He was an early riser as well. She made him his coffee quickly, guessing that he was in a rush this gloomy morning. She left it on the stand by the front door, and went back to getting everything ready for the younger kids. All the backpacks were where they should be, and such. Finally, she went upstairs, and woke them all up. She, of course, had to help the four year old Gabael get dressed. She also had to help Bryson because she would never match if Beagan didn’t help. When they were all down stairs, Beagan made herself a bowl of cereal, and had an apple with it. Since it was a bit chilly out, Beagan had to make sure they all had their coats with them, and such. Soon, Beagan was grabbing her car keys, and heading out the door with a line of kids. She had an SUV to drive them around in, it was dark green, and it wasn’t terrible old. Maybe 2007, something like that. She liked it, so that was all that mattered. She got it for her sixteenth birthday as a present from Bobby and her mother, but mainly Bobby. Beagan eventually managed to get all the kids in the proper seats, and drive them all to the proper places. Twenty minutes later, Beagan was in the front of Forks High School. Great, another terrific day of school for Beagan! Not, she really did hate school. She was a junior, and was already getting college letters. She didn’t really want to go to college, but she knew she was going to have to because of her mother, and she really wanted to get away from her mother. Well, she was about a half hour early, so she climbed out of her SUV, and made her way over to the bleacher/benches to study for the test in her first period.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Finally, Beagan thought, as the bell rang for lunch. She was starving, and she couldn’t wait to sit with her friends and talk about the day. As she made her way there, people behind her were laughing and talking about something. More like someone, but Beagan didn’t know who. She had come to realize that you just don’t ask questions anymore because they could get you into some serious trouble. Or just become your social suicide. She didn’t want either, well, not in school. She didn’t care about outside of school, but in school she had a reputation to cover. When she got into the cafeteria, she could hear someone playing music. Of course, these people were dance crazy, and liked to have dance battles. It made Beagan want to drop her books, and just bust a move. When she arrived at where her friends had been sitting she laughed because Amber was dancing. Amber reached for Beagan’s hand, and dragged her over to the circle of people. The song was Lolli Lolli Pop That Body by Three 6 Mafia.
Beagan laughed, and was suddenly pulled into the circle with Amber. Beagan started to dance, not really caring how many people looked shocked that she could actually dance. Amber and Beagan just started dirty dance when two new girls said that they could take the two on, and they agreed to the challenge. The other two girls, who Beagan noticed as Tory and Erin, were doing some crazy things. Beagan nodded over to Amber, and she nodded back. The two girls started to dance, just doing different things, but still looking good as a pair. Beagan laughed because she didn’t think she could have this much fun in school. The crowd was cheering, and the battle was soon over because a teacher had broke it up. Beagan went back to the table breathing heavily, laughing with Amber. Amber had been her best friend since grade school, and they did everything together. Beagan sat down with her, and drank a bottle of water while talking about the test in Pre-Calculus.
terribly convinced thatthat she could be my princess
Someone please remind Sebastien why he was in school. It had been the same thing over and over again. When was he going to get out? Actually, he shouldn’t have even been in there. He was twenty years old. He sort of figured he looked as though he was. He could have been wrong, but he was pretty sure he wasn’t. Then again, that was from his perspective. He knew how old he was when he “died.” He wasn’t young in any way. He had eighty plus years on him. He was seriously outdated to most of these students. In fact, he could technically be their great grandfather. However, he looked just like he fit in. He conformed his look as the times changed in order to fit in with everyone else he was going to school with. He hated that life, though. There were some days he wished he had never been saved. Wasn’t it a noble thing to die in battle? Sebastien would have had that. It would have given his parents a reason to be so much more proud of their son. Instead, he had practically wimped out. Don’t get him wrong. He was glad someone felt so strongly towards him that it was worth saving him, even if it was a vampire. Ok, that made it sound a little more unbelievable. It also made it a bit more difficult for him to tell his mother and father he was alive and why. Actually, it completely kept him from having any contact with them at all. He knew he shouldn’t have anyway, but he really wanted them to know he was alive and that he was going to be ok. Well, that was when everything first happened. Now, he couldn’t care less about what would happen to him or to anyone. He separated himself from human civilization all together. He made as few friends as possible and got the hell out of town the second he could without anyone really caring. That was always the plan. Now would be no different. At least Sebastien swore that things were going to be the same. Lately he had been having a hard time keeping himself from changing the routine of his normal life.
Forks, and he had heard it since the second he moved it, had a way of changing people. It made people act out of character and find something they always thought they had lost or never thought they would ever have. Sebastien was very skeptical of that. Well, he had been skeptical of that until he enrolled himself in Forks High School. Actually, his parents enrolled him, but whatever. The simple fact was something changed when he got to school. He had always been able to control himself when it came to human blood. He constantly remained in contact with it, but there was one person, and Sebastien didn’t know who, that’s blood smelled more than intoxicating. Ok, he lived from human blood, but he had a certain kind he drank. It wasn’t high school students. He was really glad he hadn’t found whoever it was that smelled so tempting to him. It was bound to end up badly for him or her…whatever it was. He knew when it was closer to him. It became almost unbearable to be around. He also ended up leaving school for the day. However, he had never had a class with this person. There were no major attacks. If he was lucky, which he was hoping he was, Sebastien wouldn’t have to do anything about this person. He would be out of town before things go too bad. Right now, it wasn’t any smell that was bothering him. He was sitting in his Calculus class, staring at the teacher who was going on and on about the same things that he had learned about fifteen times already. Every school had different subjects they wanted to teach. Calculus wasn’t in all schools. It was here and now he was bored. It was so simple for him by this point. He could so easily pass this class with flying colors, but he didn’t want to stand out. So, his grades were fairly average. No one could know just how hard it was for him to answer questions incorrectly. But that’s what most of his teachers expected of him. He was a trouble maker to them, automatically, even though he hadn’t done anything to earn that title.
A few more minutes of boredom, that was all Sebastien had to endure. Then he would be on his way out of this class and to the cafeteria, as if that was any better. All he would find there was loud noises. He it only be amplified by the fact that he had sensitive hearing due to the fact that he was a vampire. The bell rang loudly and it took all he had not to display how the high pitch of the bell hurt his ears. He held back for a moment before he left. He wanted to make sure everyone was out of his way. Plus, he avoided the crowd of girls in the hallway. It wasn’t as though he was vain or anything, but girls did look at him. They were attracted to him. It was all because he was a vampire. For some reason, they were unbelievably attractive to a human eye. Sebastien didn’t know why, but he didn’t want to be crowded by this particular group of girls. It was only three of them, but it had become quite apparent that they had a bet about who could get him to ask them on a date first. Ok, it was more than that. He heard them talking about it one day. So far they were all losing. He was close to dating none of them, and he was pretty sure he was going to keep it that way. He didn’t like the idea of humans being near him in any sort of sense. The closest anyone would get would probably be a handshake. He was certain of that much. No one was allowed at his house, regardless of how much they begged him, like those girls who wanted to come over for a “movie night,” they said. He liked his privacy. Why would he ever want to change it? No one was worth that change. He hadn’t met anyone worth that change. Actually, he had, but the second her family found out who his family was, they left town so he couldn’t have her. Apparently, their families had this major feud. It was probably for the best. As much as he really liked Sophia, she was way out of his league. He was reaching for the stars in hoping the two of them would ever be together. Obviously, he had let go of that dream by now and was on his marry way.
It was when the teacher decided he wanted to start conversation with Sebastien that he decided it was a good time to leave. He would rather those three girls be hanging all over him than sitting there talking to a teacher. He didn’t want them questioning about his life. They always did. No way! He would rather avoid it, which he was in the process of doing. He quickly swiped his books off the table and walked to the cafeteria. There he met up with someone he guessed he could call a friend. They had a few classes together and the guy was always insisting on getting to know Sebastien, but Sebastien hardly ever said anything. He placed his book on the table, sat back, and watched what was going on around him. The first thing he could smell was that scent he seemed to be in love with. Before the guy could say anything, they were both caught up by goings on in the cafeteria. Heads turned, there was music playing, and a crowd of people were suddenly crowding. Sebastien found himself intrigued for some reason. Before he knew it, he was pushing his way through the crowd.
Then, the smell that rattled Sebastien was right there. Panicked, he threw his hands over his nose and retreated to the table he started from. It was one of those girls. He wasn’t exactly sure which, but it was one of the girls in the circle dancing around. Great! He had figured out who it was, but this was officially going to suck. He was going to spend the rest of his time in Forks avoiding those girls, or chasing after them to make sure they were alright, or wishing he could drink their blood. All three were options. Soon the dance battle broke up and people retreated to their tables. He remained alone, though. He glanced between the girls he had seen dancing and wondered which one it was that appealed to him so much and what sort of bond this meant they had. It confused him so damn much. He didn’t understand this. He wasn’t sure anyone understood this. He was pretty sure he would never have an answer. He would actually have to kill her, though that sounded really bad, but it was what he saw as his only solution.
Beagan thought about everyone who went to school, and wondered why some of them even bothered. Not that she was saying that she didn’t want people to learn, she did, but some people just came because they had too. If someone didn’t want to go to school, then why should they be forced? It’s not like they would honestly do anything with it. They just sit in class dozing off, or just ignored the teacher. Beagan would never do something like that because it was rude to do. She didn’t like being in school, but she wanted to make something of herself, to be smart. She wanted to make a good life for herself when she left this place. She didn’t ever want to come back, but she knew that she couldn’t leave those kids with her mother. Her mother was crazy, and everyone of the oldest children had had a piece of that. It was crazy how much Jasmine complained about how her children could do better or be better. It was like no one could please. It’s no wonder this house has so many kids, words of her grandmother. Her grandmother had witnessed one year how much of a bitch Beagan’s mother could really be. She had yelled at Bryson because she hadn’t moved a chair back, and instead was playing with her new toy from Grandma. Beagan, of course, had to step in and say she would fix it. Bryson had only been very little. She felt bad for those kids when they got older. To Jasmine, they would never be good enough for her, but for Beagan, they were all great. They had such unique personalities. She could tell who would be a social butterfly, or who would be super quiet. She didn’t want to think about them partying, but she knew that one of them would bound to be a partier. Beagan was much of a partier herself, though she did enjoy getting away with some of her friends. Beagan wasn’t into the whole smoking scene or anything like that. She didn’t want to waste her life on things like that.
Beagan wasn’t one to fool around when it came to school. She took it seriously, and usually left the fun times for after school. Sure, she had funny moments while they were in school, but her truly good moments were outside of this forsaken place with her best friend, Amber. Beagan was often made fun of because of how smart she was, she was in Pre-Calculus Advanced Honors, and she was a Junior. It shouldn’t shock people, if they tried hard enough, they could do it too. Amber stated once that maybe Beagan tried too hard. Amber was a smart girl, she was in Trig -though not as hard as Pre-Cal- said that Beagan was too smart for her own good. She couldn’t help that she could do an equation the length of her body in five minutes. There were people out there that could do it in less. Beagan liked being smart, it made her feel good about herself. She did everything in her power to make sure she got straight A’s, and passed all her tests and exams. But, dancing with Amber right then, it made Beagan realize that sometimes you have to let loose. Even if she was at school, who cared? These people would never look at her the same way now. They would be like ’Oh look, it’s the nerd.’ Beagan smiled despite herself, she didn’t want to be known as the nerd, she just wanted to be Beagan. So, while dancing she couldn’t help but see the crowd growing bigger and bigger. When she glanced up, she saw a guy towards the front. He was watching them, but he didn’t stay long because he covered his nose, and quickly walked away. Self conscious, Beagan sniffed around her quickly. She didn’t smell anything but cafeteria food, and the scent of Amber’s vanilla perfume. Beagan shrugged to herself, and ignored him. It was probably someone in the crowd with bad BO or something like that. Or a guy with too much Axe cologne. She didn’t like that smell, it was gross, and when they put too much of it on, eck. When the teacher broke them up, she and Amber headed back to their table.
Beagan broke out her bottled water, and chugged it. She let out a burp, then laughed with Amber. ”Did you see that hot guy in the crowd?” Amber’s green eyes were glittering with lust. Amber wasn’t like Beagan, she was more of a partier then Beagan. She had already lost her virginity by the time she was fourteen. Beagan lost hers when she was sixteen, just one year ago. She’d only done it twice, and it was with the same guy. Beagan laughed, and said, ”Yeah, he was cute I guess.”
Beagan looked back over her shoulder, and saw him sitting alone. She scrunched her nose up, and looked back to Amber. She was tying her bright red hair back into a ponytail. She was breathing heavily. Beagan laughed, and passed her some water. ”Go on, go talk to him.” Beagan looked at her like she was crazy, then shook her head no. She was not going to make a fool of herself in front of a hot guy. There was just no way she would ever do that. Amber waved twenty dollars in her face, and said she’d give it to her if she did it. Well, Beagan could use some money. She glanced back at the boy, and tried to snatch the money. Amber shook her finger at Beagan, and said, ”Talk to him first, then the money.” God, Amber just hated her. Beagan got up from her chair, and began to walk over to him. She stole a look to Amber while walking over to him. When walking over to his table, Beagan managed to trip over her own feet, and balance herself on his table. She realized that while looking up that she was really close to him. She could see his shoes, then let her gaze travel up to see his face. Her cheeks turned bright red, and tried to hide it with her hair by letting it hang in her face. ”Uh, sorry,” she said straightening herself up. She could hear Amber snickering loudly behind her. ”I’m Beagan Vaughn, I just thought I’d introduce myself. You looked sort of lonely over here by yourself.” Her voice wasn’t any stronger then before. There was something about this boy though, she couldn’t explain it. She could feel it wasn’t just the looks he had, but boy did he have those. Now, Beagan wasn’t one to stutter, but that just goes to show what his presence did to her. ”So-sorry for both-bothering you,” Beagan managed to get out. She turned on her heel, and her legs wobbled a bit. She got herself before she could fall again in front of him. [/blockquote][/blockquote] TAGS?! terribly convinced thatthat she could be my princess
Sebastien’s didn’t get humans these days. Teenagers were such disgraces to their grandparents and great grandparents that the ones who had passed away were probably rolling in their graves while the ones who remained alive spent their entire time criticizing their grandchildren. Why shouldn’t they? Sebastien had seen all kinds of breakthroughs in his lifetime, like fighting to make ends meet, fighting for civil and equal rights, and the surge to have a simple yet good life. Kids today took all of that for granted. He would blame on the sexual revolution in the seventies when sex drugs and rock n’ roll were all the rage. It started then, the turn to being busy under the sheets and not fully concentrating on getting a job. Babies were being born to teen parents, mostly single mothers, who couldn’t afford to take care of themselves let alone a baby left and right. Through the decades it had only become an epidemic. Sebastien sat back and watched as the world destroyed itself, too, in that manner. Teens were getting very unruly and could get away with anything. He wasn’t stupid. Girls wanted him to be the next guy they got in bed with. He heard the whispers up and down the hallways from the students who wanted something like that. Oh the things his super sensitive hearing could for him. They even helped Sebastien avoid people he didn’t want to see. If he heard particular voices, he avoided them in the hallways. He had become a master of this sort of thing. Even in the lunch room, if a particular person he wasn’t interested in came to join him at his table, he would quickly move before they were even close enough to him to make it look as though they were trying to join him. He was quick and easy, but only because he didn’t agree with the hormonal minds of a teenager. He wanted to avoid what they would say and their flirtatious nature. In fact, he already pegged a handful of girls in Forks as future prostitutes and strippers.
Maybe that was wrong of Sebastien, but they never gave him a reason to believe otherwise. It was usually all about oneself. Look at that dance competition that just went down. Why was it so important to be better than someone else at something like dancing? He didn’t understand competiveness, mostly because the only thing anyone had ever wanted to compete with him about was the number of girls they could attract. He remembered when he was human doing one of those stupid kissing booths with one of his best friends. Of course, Sebastien had earned a lot more money that day, which only skyrocketed his arrogance. Now, being the vampire that was completely attractive, it had only seemed to get worse. Oh well, he couldn’t help it if he was overwhelmingly attractive. They could blame that on the person responsible for him being around. Yeah, he was supposed to die. Had he died his arrogance wouldn’t be a topic of discussion. It had to be obvious, though. Sebastien knew with some people he had a bit of an intimidation factor. He also knew that people sometimes thought down of him. That was perfectly fine if you asked him. What did it matter? He wasn’t trying to impress anyone. That wasn’t even important to him. What most people didn’t consider was that he was just there because he had no other choice than to attend classes. It would look odd if he was just some teenage looking kid roaming around the neighborhood at odd hours in the day. Someone was likely to call his parents in for truancy. They certainly didn’t want that to happen. Then Sebastien would be kicked out of his coven. What then? He would be lost without his coven. He was still kind of young for a vampire. Granted, he was learning everything he needed to know, but he still wasn’t completely sure about things. He wouldn’t know how to hids himself. And quite frankly, he needed someone to keep a firm hand on him. The world would be in danger if he were left to figure things out on his own.
The world could really thank his parents for taking care of Sebastien. He sighed heavily as boredom took him over swiftly, but something quickly took over his ears. He could hear two of those girls talking. At first he wasn’t sure who they were talking about. Apparently, it was some cute boy. He was just going to ignore them until he looked up and one of the girls was looking at him. This cute boy must have been him. Then he felt inclined to eavesdrop on their conversation. He could enjoy this, but he was greatly turned off by the one girl that only said she guessed he was kind of cute. Whatever. They all knew she was really holding back the truth of how she felt. Oops! There went his bit of self absorbency again. How could he fix it? He couldn’t help the person he was or the way he was one hundred percent certain people felt about him. They automatically looked at him and saw something intriguing, but it wasn’t because he would say he was naturally good looking. It was this whole vampire thing that made him the way he was. So, he liked thinking that this whole knowing he was absolutely gorgeous to the eye wasn’t simply his looks. It was also due to some unnatural force that made him that way.
And then one of the girls rose. This was definitely unexpected, yet expected at the same time. Sebastien considered leaving, but decided not to, mostly because the closer she got the more overwhelming her smell became. He had never found a human scent that more unbearable and delicious at the same time. He wanted to drink her blood dry and kiss her long and hard all at the same time. He worked really hard to restrain himself from covering his nose. Instead, he simply held his breath. That was, he held it until he nearly fell. He moved such that if she hadn’t caught her balance he would fall into her arms rather than on the floor. At the same time, Sebastien took in a deep breath of her intoxicating smell. As she regained her composure he relaxed in his seat. ”I’m not lonely at all,” he shook his head. There was that defense, the wall the always put up to keep people away. When she, Beagan, walked away, though, he sort of felt an emptiness. ”You know, you’re more than welcome to join me.” He wondered if she would turn around. ”I’m Sebastien, since you introduced yourself. Beagan?”
Beagan worried sometimes, she especially worried about Amber and her lusty ways. It seemed that this girl had a new boyfriend every other day, Beagan couldn’t do something like that. She didn’t even like having a boyfriend, they were either too clingy or they were too possessive, and Beagan just didn’t want any of that. She preferred to alone rather then with someone all the time. It gave her more “me” time, if she could even call it that, which she couldn’t. Her “me” time involved taking care of like five kids, that wasn’t something she was going to call “me” time. Beagan called it “me” time when she was over at Amber’s hanging out because it didn’t involve little kids screaming unless you counted Amber’s three and half month old sister, but at least Beagan didn’t have to rush the baby’s side when it cried. That was the best part about Amber’s house, she could just relax when she was over there, but then again she couldn’t. Amber was always wanting to party, and Beagan liked to party, but not every night. She did have better things to do then party, like study for a big test the next day. ( That’s me! ) Beagan had to pass school or she would be nothing, and she couldn’t be nothing. She had to be something, or she knew she would never hear the end of it from Jasmine, her mother. Sure, her smarts came naturally-most of the time-and she was able to do a lot if she really wanted too, but her mother was insisting she become a doctor or lawyer. Why would Beagan want to be any of those? Oh wait, she doesn’t want too. She didn’t know what she wanted to be, though she was pretty sure she needed to figure it out fast since she was a Junior. Yeah, she was sure she was going to hounded when she got home about it, again.
Honestly, Beagan didn’t know what was going to happen in her life anymore, it seemed so out of control. It was like she was on this long rollercoaster, and all she could do was hold on for the ride. Beagan didn’t particularly like this ride, it wasn’t fun. It went kind of slow at times, then really fast at others. It made her nauseas at times, well all the time really. Beagan didn’t like the feeling it gave her, and she had that feeling in the pit of her stomach that her life rollercoaster was about to go a hell of a lot faster then it usually did. Maybe it would end soon, but then that would mean she was going to die. That wouldn’t be very good, she’d be kind of sad to know that she was going to die young, but she didn’t think she was going to die young. But if she did die young, she’d be sad because she wasn’t able to experience the world like she wanted too. Okay, she really needed to stop thinking about death or she was going rip her hair out. That wouldn’t be good either, not at all. Beagan liked her hair on her head, just how it is. Unharmed and colorful..sort of. Much of it washed out, but she still had a few streaks here and there. She would probably get it redone, if Jasmine let her that is. With that thought, Beagan doubted there would any coloring of the hair, see Jasmine hadn’t been pleased when Beagan came home with colorful streaks in her hair. It had been Amber’s idea, and of course, Beagan went along with it. Anything to piss off her mother! Maybe that was bad, it does say in the Bible to obey your parents, but no one took that thing literally, right? Beagan didn’t, well, not anymore. She learned along time ago not to believe stuff like that because you never if someone could have just gotten bored or something, and decided to make up some religion.
Beagan was slowly coming to regret talking about this boy. She didn’t know him, she didn’t even think he was that cute. Okay, that was a lie, she thought he was the most gorgeous boy ever, but that didn’t mean she was going to admit it. Hell no, she would never admit that to Amber. Cause that would mean that Amber would have something over Beagan, and she couldn’t have that, now could she? No, she couldn’t. Amber would use that against her for so many things, it was ridiculous. Beagan sighed to herself, and listened to her friend go on and on about him, no one cared. Well, that wasn’t true either. Beagan thought he was attractive, but something in her mind went off telling her stay away from him, but hell, who ever listened to their “angel” inner voice? It was always the “devil” inner voice people listened too. Their voice was more tempting, like a bee to honey, well that’s how Beagan was feeling towards this unknown person. She’d never even talk to him, and she felt attracted to him. But then again, what girl didn’t? Beagan was positive that he would laugh at her or something along those lines, that’s how it usually was with boys and her. Really, boys wasn’t her best subject. Throw math or science or something like that at her, and she could tell you anything you wanted to know, but you threw boys at her; she was a girl who knew nothing! Well, she knew stuff about them, but she didn’t understand how they think. It irritated her that they could be so cool and collected during a serious problem. Beagan supposed they were wired differently then girls, which could be a good thing, right? If they were wired like girls the world would be full of gay people, not that Beagan didn’t like gay people since she was attracted to some girls. But she defiantly liked boys more.
So, Beagan didn’t even know why she was walking over to this boy. For twenty dollars, was it worth it? She got an allowance, she didn’t need this twenty dollars! But she found herself walking over there anyways, it was going against everything in brain was saying. It was crazy, but Beagan didn’t really care right now. It almost felt like she was being hypnotized to go over there, yeah, by a bribe of money. Beagan almost didn’t catch herself, and she almost didn’t see him fall. That was odd, how did he fall out of his seat? Never mind, she didn’t want to know the answer to that. He’d probably been laughing before she came over, but then again she hadn’t seen him laughing. Maybe he was clumsy? Beagan didn’t think he was the clumsy type, but that goes to show how much she knew about anything. Beagan looked around awkwardly, yeah, this was awkward. Beagan looked at him for a moment with a dazed look, but she shook herself out of it. ”Well, if you aren’t lonely then I’ll leave you to wallow in your thoughts,” Beagan had never turned on her heels so fast before. Wow, talk about defensive much. As she started to walk away, he started to talk. ”You know, you’re more then welcome to join me.” Beagan stopped in her tracks, oh so now he said something? Beagan rolled her eyes while turning around.
Sebastien, some how that fit him. Though it reminded her of the crab or lobster from The Little Mermaid. Beagan refrained from laughing at that thought. ”Yeah, Beagan,”
She thought about her stuff over there with Amber, but she didn’t feel like going to get it. ”So, Sebastien. Did your parents have a sense of humor when they named you? Because you’re named after a crab,” Beagan said, her voice was starting to come back. Thank God, she didn’t know if she’d be able to take not talking, and looking like a retard.
