Ath opened her car door and slammed it loudly whilst getting out. She was not a very good mood and was thinking of ways to calm herself. Many came across her mind but none of which were avalible to her at that moment. She finally sighed took out her phone and looked at her wallpaper. It told her to always smile, something she was good at. So she put on a really good fake smile and walked up to the front door.She took a breath in and out. There were a few cars about but she wasn't sure who owned them, maybe she wasn't the only visitor there. It didn't really matter, she was here for a civilized visit and she intended to keep it friendly. After all they wouldn't of sended her own her own if she was to be in any sort of fight. She closed her fist and rapped it lightly on the door.

Alice had been in school nearly the whole day, so she was happy as the bell had finally ended this terrible day. Fastly she had brought her books away and then she had went to her car. She got into it and started the engine. Faster then any human would, she drove home to the mansion. There she parked her car in front of the house. Before she went inside she threw another glance at her beautifull shiny yellow Porsche. Like all Cullens Alice loved fast cars. Walking to the front door, she pulled out a key and opened the door. Inside she called for her family "Hello, someone home?" But no one answered her. A soft sigh escaped the little vampires lips. Sure she knew that the rest of the family had as well things to do and that they had a life as well. But was it much to ask for that at least one of them was home, Alice wondered. A moment she stood in the hallway, checking her visions for the others arrival. Then a moment later she want upstairs.

There she walked right into her room. She sat down on her bed for a moment, before she got up again. The room looked a bit untidy, so Alice decided it was time to clean it. Normally she hated all kinds of cleaning up, because it was really boring. But right now she was bored, what meant she needed something to do. Soon she was finished with her room. So Alice walked out of it and downstairs again. As she was downstairs she walked into the living room. The little vampire sat down on the couch and grabbed one of the fashion magazines, that was lying around. Bored she flipped through the pages. After nothing really caught her eyes, she put down the magazine again. Fastly she snapped the control of the Tv and switched it on. Still bored she flipped through the Channels. Suddenly Alice inhaled sharply as a vision, appeared in front of her eyes. She saw a young woman with blood red eyes which appeared at the front door of the Cullens.

As fast as the vision had come, it was over. Immediately Alice was on her feet. She switched off the Tv and started to walk up and down the room. Her memories told Alice that the young woman she had seen was a member of the Volturi. So she wondered what brought a member of the Volturi to Forks. No rules had been broken and there was absolutly no reason for the Volturi to come to Forks. She felt lightly worried now and suddenly she thought that it was a good thing the rest of the family was gone. Alice did not remeber the vampire womans name, but she was pretty sure, she would find out really soon. After all her visions were nearly every time right. In all her time as a vampire Alice had learned to trust her visions, sure she knew that some vampires could use the holes in her visions but that did not happen really often. Besides the Volturi didn´t need to hide their visits as powerfull as they were. Then Alice heared a light knock on the door. So she walked over from the living room to the front door. She opened it and saw the vampire stand in front of it. It was good that Alice knew who the vampire really was. So she put on a polite smile and asked friendly "Can I help you?"

Athenodora took down her hand and she was going to put an ear to the door to listen for any sign of movement but before she had a chance it opened.The girl standing infront of Athenodora was a stranger but she remembered the look of her from the incident a few years ago.She looked at the girl up and down, she had spiky hair and was quite petite, she had a good fashion sense.Before she left Ath had all of the cullens appearences, personalities and gifts explained to her and by the looks of this one she appeared to be Alice.A smile crossed the girls lips and she said politely "Can I help you?

Athenodora was here on a good note and she returneed the girls smile and polite tone when she said "I'm Athenodora wife to Caius"Ugh how she hated having the title, she wished she could be known as just Athenodora, but it was always 'Oh your Cauis wife'It frustrated her so much, it made her feel unimportant but she added it so that the girl might have an idea of who she was."Alice right??" she asked her as she definitly didn't match any of the other descriptions that was given to her.Ath liked the sound of the description of alice's personality, it sounded like someone she could get along with and she wanted a friend outside her coven but she wasn't sure what her famly had planned for this coven and what they'd think of them being friends.

Finally she remebered something, she remebered that the young looking woman was a wife of one of the Volturi leaders. Alice was really wondering what a wife of one of the Volturi leaders was doing here. Normally they only left rarely the tower or the town. The last time she had seen them had been when they had come for Renesmee. Sadly her vision had not told her what this Volturi wanted from her or her family. After all no rules had been broken and the secret was completely safe. Still Alice tried to remeber the other vampire´s name. She had to admit that the woman looked beautiful and it seemed like she had a good sense for fashion. Sure Alice had heared a lot about the Volturi, but after all she couldn´t remeber everything right away. So the little vampire searched in her mind for the other vampires name or any detail that might have helped her.But one thing was sure for her, the Volturi came never without a reason, so there needed to be an important reason why this woman had come here.

A moment later the other vampire said to her "I'm Athenodora wife to Caius" She tried not to look shocked about the fact that this woman was wife of Caius. The Cullens had a relative good relationship to the Volturi, but somehow at least to Alice, Caius had always seemed like the cruelest. Sure she saw things different because Jasper was her mate. He was Alice soulmate and meant anything to her. Also she knew he was not perfect in living the Cullens lifestyle, but she could not imagine how someone could have Caius as a mate. A moment later she was torn out of her thoughts again as the Athenodora said "Alice right??" It seemed like this vampire knew exactly with whom of the Cullens she was talking. Also she made an impression of beeing selfsure. Again the question what one of the Volturi was doing here, flashed through her mind.

Now Alice first thought about her words, but then answered Athenodoras question. "Hello Athenodora, it is a pleasure to meet you again!" she added fastly with a smile crossing her face again "Yeah you are right, I´m Alice Cullen, just call me Alice." While she spoke she watched the other vampire carefully. She had not made any move that seemed dangerous or that showed her the Cullens were in danger, but still Alice was tensed. In that moment she at first wished that Jasper would be here with her. But in the next she thought it was good he and the others weren´t here. So Alice asked after a moment "What gives us the honor of your visit?" After all her vision had just showed her that Athenodora would come, it had not shown her what she wanted. So this question was firstly polite and secondly it would give her finally a clue what was going on. Normally Alice would have already started talking without taking a breath, but when it came to the Volturi she was rather carefull.

"Hello Athenodora, it is a pleasure to meet you again!"Athenodora listened to Alice greet her again in a friendly tone of voice.And Ath had to admit she was glad, she wasn't sure how any of the cullens would react to her visit she had never seen much of them before and couldn't remember the last time she was talking to Carlisle.She knew she was here merely for a checkup and she was not under any circumstances allowed to break ou in a fight because if that were the case they would have sent someone with her or sent someone better.No she was just a wife, always set the easy task but she would much rather that and was good at what she did.

She sent Alice a smile as she confirmed who she was to Ath "Yeah you are right, I´m Alice Cullen, just call me Alice."Athenodora felt at this moment she should shake her hand or something but it seemed to fancy and not like Ath herself as she never did things like that.When her coven where meeting with the 'VIPs' she just stood in the background out of the way.She sensed how Alice felt a bit tensed by her body language so she casually leaned against the frame of the door and kept her easy smile.Then she asked the question Athenodora expected to be the first words out of her lips when she opened the door"What gives us the honor of your visit?" and of course she had every right to expect it.

Of course the Volturi visiting was probably never a good sign to people, but sometimes once in a blue moon Ath got to come out of her home and visit people and she liked doing that.Relax Alice, Its just me they sent, Im just here for a ...checkupShe struggled for the right word To see how everyone is, I get all the easy jobsShe said rolling her eyesIs it all right if I come in?It seemed to her that Alice trusted her, but she wasn't sure because of course no-one trusted the Volturi.'Ugh' Ath thought 'How the hell am I going to make any friends now?'

Alice noticed that Athenodora still was clam and she still seemed friendly. So Alice now slowly relaxed a little, it seemed like she was not here for bringing any bad news to her. Her behaviour had been a bit tensed and she had not completely acted like herself. But the Volturi must probably be used to be treated like that. After all mostly they only came out of their town for bad news or for a punishment. The way Athenodora acted was different from the acting of most Volturi, she seemed friendly and open. For her it must normally be easy to make friends, she thought to herself. After all the Volturi were not so different from the Cullens. They were a family as well. Even through the relationship between the vampires was much different to the Cullens relationships in the family. Athenodora still stayed quiet and calm, what made her guess there was no danger. It was probably only a visit out of politeness, even through that was unlikely. So Alice decided to play along the little game.

In the next moment Athenodora said to her "Relax Alice, Its just me they sent, Im just here for a ...checkup." So that was the reason why she had come here, Alice thought to herself. But then she said to Athenodora "Alright sorry, I guess I was bit tensed, it doesn´t happen every day that we get a visit from Italy." she added fastly "You know your last visit was a kind of shocking experience to us." she laughed her wind chime laugh lightly at her last words. But then turned quiet again, when Athenodora continued and said "To see how everyone is, I get all the easy jobs." After Athenodora was finished she spoke again much more relieved now "Oh, alright then, yeah I guess I have to say we are all great!" This was after all the truth, since the Volturi had left after the battle, life had continued normally, Renesmee had grown fastly and the rest of the family had lived their lives as well. There really had not been much trouble in the last time and the Cullens were thankfull for it. So a small smile appeared on Alice face as she thought about it. A check up, did not hurt after all she knew there was nothing bad to find for the Volturi, the Cullens had lived simly after all rules.

She saw Athenodora roll her eyes and heared her say a moment later "Is it all right if I come in?" Alice smiled at her and made a step inside the house, before making an inviting gesture. Then she added to it "Sure, feel welcome!" she led her guest into the living room, before she said "Please sit down!" and again she added more openly now "Is there anything I can get you?" While she stood there she watched how Athenodora looked around the living room. Suddenly Alice remebered that Athenodora was here for a check up, but besides Alice there was no one home to check up. So she explaint fastly "So if you want I also can look if I can find one of the others, I just came home as well when you arrived." she added "Well and they were all gone, but I can phone them, if you need them." she added "Otherwise you have to be satisfied with my company." she smiled cheerfully at the Athenodora.

Ath wondered if she had came on a bit strong, Volturi were supposed to be sad and gloomy but Athenodora was bubbly and bright today and the last time Alice had seen her was under a hooded cloak, and she hadn't even been able to see alice then because of the hood.Alice did not know much of her personality she didn't know what to expect Athenodora had to take that into consideration.Alice finally took a breath and moved out of her tensed position Alright sorry, I guess I was bit tensed, it doesn´t happen every day that we get a visit from ItalyTrue, Athenodora thought and they werent people you'd want a visit from anyways even when Ath visited her friends they looked a tad worried when they first saw her.It made Ath want to blush, to say sorry for causing them stress but sometimes she was too embarrased to say anything.So she said Its alright, I understandShe was glad Alice was so nice about it and she didn't make her feel awkward.

She then quickly got in You know your last visit was a kind of shocking experience to usAnd she laughed.Hmm, yes she wondered if Alice had forgiven her for that, yet her tone seemed friendly so she thought she might of.Yes, sorry about that she murmured looking at her feet.Oh, alright then, yeah I guess I have to say we are all great!Ath was glad to hear it and she smiled she'd have to ask a few more questions later, but she was in no rush and it was good that she got to leave the castle.Alice's tone sounded more relaxed and calm all signs of tenseness had left her and she seemed relieved.

Which also made Athenodora happy that she trusted her a bit more.Sure, feel welcome!"Alice said when Ath asked her about coming in she had to admit she was a good hostess because Ath imdeaditley felt at home, except the cullens mansion was alot nicer than the castle in Volterra.Alice led her into the large living room which looked spectacular.Everything was so modern a big change from the medival castle the only modern things in there were Aths clothes.She hated the long robes said they did nothing for her curves and they weren't very comforable eitheir.

You've a beautiful home,I wish mine was like this so open, so bright, so modernAth said gazing around.Please sit down[/b] Alice said and she realized she was still standing.She flung herself on the couch and shook her head when alice asked if she could get her anything.Athenodora had fed before she came, incase she ran into any humans at the Cullens.She had to say they were very unpredictable and always suprised her.{b]Im fine I fed before I came, out of town of coure[/b]she added with a smile.

Alice knew for sure that the Volturi normally were nice to them. Especially Aro, after all Carlisle had spent a long time in Volterra. He had got learn to know the Volturi better. He had always described them as civilized. But he had also said that the rules meant most to them. Maybe Athenodora knew that behaviour of people already when she appeared somewhere, cause normally visits from Italy meant nothing good. In the last years the Cullens had been in contact with the Volturi more often then they had wanted to. At first as Edward had tried to kill himself, as a solution of his broken heart, because Rosalie had made him believe that Bella had died. The next visit had been the time after Irina had told the Volturi about Renesmee. That had been the last time Alice had seen Athenodora. But to that time Athenodora had been hidden well behind some guards and she had worn a big black, hooded cloak. But Alice knew that first impressions on people were often wrong, so she wanted to get to know Athenodora better before allowing herself a judgment.

"Its alright, I understand" Athenodora said in the next moment. Alice nodded thoughtfully before she hesitated but then asked "It is a hard life as one of the Volturi wives isn´t it?" she couldn´t imagine what it was like to be locked up in a tower or if it was even a town. So she added to her words a moment later "I mean I can´t imagine what it is like when you have to live your life after so much rules only because you belong to them." she smiled and asked with an apologetic smile "Isn´t it a bit boring?" Alice thought she maybe would go crazy if she had to. After all she loved Parties and doing a lot of funny things and it seemed liek Athenodora didn´t get any of that. So maybe she could throw her a Party at some point, she thought to herself. For sure she knew that Aro had shown interested in her gift. He thought it was usefull for him and that he maybe could use Alice the way he could use all his guards. But one thing was sure for Alice, she would never join the Volturi. When Athenodora spoke again Alice was torn out fo her thoughts. "Yes, sorry about that." she said to her. Alice gave her a crooked smile and then said to her "I guess we are more or less okay with it, but well...it was a shock for us!" she added with a warmer smile now again "And we didn´t get hurt and Nessie didn´t get hurt." Suddenly she hesitated again and remebered what had happened to Irina. So she corrected herself "Besides that we lost one member of our extended family and I guess that is something that we won´t forget." "But I can speak for my family when I say we are alright nothing happened." she grinned to break up the situation a bit.

She watched how Athenodora looked around the room. Then she said to Alice "You've a beautiful home,I wish mine was like this so open, so bright, so modern." Alice smiled at her one of her brillant smiles. Then she was the one to say thank Athenodora, so she said to her "Thank you, when we came here Esme had to put a lot of time in it." "So I going to pass on your compliment!" she smiled now freely. "Im fine I fed before I came, out of town of coure." Athenodora answered her question. Alice nodded again and sat down on the couch across from Athenodora. If she was truthfull she was happy that Athenodora had fed before coming to town. After all the Cullens felt responsible for the humans in town. It would also cause arguments with the wolves if any human would get harmed. Alice asked a moment later "Did you come alone?" she added just a second later "So is there anything special you would like to talk about?" Now she couldn´t hide her excitement anymore. She loved to make surprises for others, but she herself was not so patient. Alice was used to get all information she wanted through her visions normally. So Alice now kind of excited what Athenodora had to say.

It is a hard life as one of the Volturi wives isn´t it? When Alice asked this all Athenodora could do was smile and nod. She agreed with her though it was a hard life for her. She could dwell on that though she hated sitting around feeling sorry for herself because she kicked herself afterwards as she knew that there were alot of people alot less fortunate than her. She could name a few Mondays dinner, Tuesdays dinner......it went on a few centuries.Then Alice quickly continued I mean I can´t imagine what it is like when you have to live your life after so much rules only because you belong to them At this Ath was gobsmacked Oh no, no ,no honey I belong to no-one She said giggling but she knew it was not entirley true. She could not leave.She was tied to them. She was part of a family there. Alice wasn't won over though she knew Ath wasn't telling the complete truth.

Isn't it a bit boring? Ath sighed. It was,very much so and Ath didn't do well with boring. She was kept in the tallest tower and rarely got out. The only people she ever saw there was her family and her food.

But when she got bored she whined and moaned and annoyed Caius until he set her free. She loved her friends and visiting them, she loved her family too but sometimes she got sick of them. Oh Alice,ou know me too well Ath said admitting it Yes it is very boring but when I escape I make up for it by having a good timeAth said smiling.I guess we are more or less okay with it, but well...it was a shock for usAth realized although Alice was nice to her, she had not yet totally forgiven her family. She hoped in time she could because Ath liked Alice despite having known her for a few minutes. And she was pretty sure Alice felt the same as although her tone was a bit bothered she wore a warm smile.

And we didn´t get hurt and Nessie didn´t get hurt.Aths forehead creased and the corners of her mouth pulled down. Ah yes Athenodora remembered the child. Well she would need to there was that big of a riot over her but that was all in the past now. It had been a couple of years since it and by the looks of things the Volturi had forgotten about it and excepted it but Athenodora couldn't be sure what they were thinking. She was almost always last on the list to hear everything.

Growing up teachers in school would have told Ath that you learn from mistakes and you can't learn if you dont make them, and that everyone made them. So she felt it was wrong to kill her and it really sickened her but all she could do was close her eyes benath her hood and say nothing. Because if she had of said anything it wouldn't of mattered, she didn't have a say. She told Alice this because she didn't want her to think badly of her I wasn't happy about that eitheir Alice, I dont think she should of been killed for one miskate everyone makes them

Ath smiled when she heard of Esme's hard work she liked a bit of interior design too but she always liked other peoples creations better than her own. Not that they weren't good or that she didn't believe in herself though. Did you come alone? Alice asked then continued So is there anything special you would like to talk about? She asked again. Yes, I did and to be honest I think I was just wanted out of the house.Remember when you asked me if it was very boring being a Volturi wife well, yes it is.I get borded very easily and I am not a pleasant person when I am.I moan and I yapp until I am let out of the house.They usually send me on a trip like this one, but its pointless there just giving me something to keep me busy.By the time I get back they won't even ask me anythingI finished rolling my eyes.

As Athenodora said "Oh no, no ,no honey I belong to no-one" Alice smiled and nodded. She understood what Athenodora wanted to say with it. So she said a moment later "I didn´t mean it that way, I mean you belong to their family what ties you to them, doesn´t it?" She added a moment later "At least I love my family so I´m tied to them, that is what I mean." She gave Athenodora a warm smile after she had said this. For her still it was hard to imagne what the life of a Volturi was like. This whole life simply sounded strange to her. After her next question, Athenodora sighed, so Alice knew she had hit a point. It really seemed like the life of a Volturi wife was the way everybody imagined. The little vampire girl wondered what could someone do against the decision of Aro, Caius and Marcus, they made the rules and they decided what was going to happen. IN the few times Alice had met the Voturi leaders, she had noticed that the whole guard was completely loyal and they all seemed to do exactly what they were told to do. But now when she looked at Athenodora it seemed different. It seemed like she had her own head, what meant it wasn´t probably so easy to deal with the three Volturi leaders.

A moment later Athenodora proved theory, becaus she said to Alice "Oh Alice,ou know me too well." "Yes it is very boring but when I escape I make up for it by having a good time." She now raised an eyebrow and asked jokingly "You need to escape?" she added "Maybe you should escape to one of my famous Parties at some time." A smiled appeared on Alice face. To her family and friends her Parties were legendary and feared at the same time. Everyone who knew her better, could tell for sure that Alice did no half things when it was about to plan a Party or another event. Thoughtfull she asked Athenodor a moment later "But can´t you speak with your husband, I mean does he like to see you so unhappy?" again she added "I can only hardly imagine that." But on the other hand she knew the Volturi so well that she could tell, fun was a foreign word for them probably. Also she thought a moment later happily not everyone had the luck to have a such understanding husband as she had. If she was honest to herself, she really could count herself to the lucky persons, because not everyone had such a great family as she had, that was pretty clear to her in that moment.

To her next words, Athenodora answered her "I wasn't happy about that eitheir Alice, I dont think she should of been killed for one miskate everyone makes them." Alice nodded and gave Athenodora a smile and said "That sounds right to me." "I mean we all make mistakes." Alice continued after a moment and said to her new friend "Also what you said sounded really nice, I mean you don´t sound like the rest of them." "It is like you have a completely different view on things, but that I mean as a compliment." and again she gave Athenodora a warm smile. In the short time Alice had spoken now to Athenodora she had learned that her new friend had a completely different view on things as the rest of the Volturi. Like everyone else Alice had believed that all Volturi were cold and emotionless, that they were killers. But right now that all was proved to be wrong, sure Athenodora lived from Human Blood and sure she loved her family and would never leave them. But that didn´t changed that she was not all about rules and making punishments. Also she was able to admit faults everyone made. It all made her even more likable to Alice.

"Yes, I did and to be honest I think I was just wanted out of the house.Remember when you asked me if it was very boring being a Volturi wife well, yes it is.I get borded very easily and I am not a pleasant person when I am.I moan and I yapp until I am let out of the house.They usually send me on a trip like this one, but its pointless there just giving me something to keep me busy.By the time I get back they won't even ask me anything." Athenodora told her. The little vampire girl nodded again thoughtfull. "Must be really hard for them to not go crazy when you protest against it." she smiled amused. "So they won´t aks you about your trip?" Alice asked now more interested. Now suddenly a grin appeared on her face. She added a moment later "I mean then we could do something more fun if you like." "I mean after all you are locked up in a tower most of the time, they wouldn´t blame you for having a little fun, wouldn´t they?" Alice had no exact idea what to do, but she was sure Athenodora had probably a lot things she wanted to do when she once escaped her tower. Alice was more the ready for some fun as well, after all she loved having fun. But normally most of her family simply shaked their heads about her in amusement. It was not that they didn´t understand her, they simply knew her to well, she thought to herself. Then she gave another friendly smile at Athenodora.

When Alice tried to explain what she ment when she said I didn´t mean it that way, I mean you belong to their family what ties you to them, doesn´t it?At least I love my family so I´m tied to them, that is what I meanAthenodora knew what she ment. She knida knew the first time too but was just messing a bit.She did love her family very much and although they weren't as small and close as the cullens thats the way she saw them.She also didn't see the guard as well...just the guard.She didn't thinking they were there to serve her or anything, just family.Athenodora was slowy finding she could relate to Alice in many ways and she didn't think she would be able too.Athenodora smiled at Alice, she found herself doing alot of smiling it probably never left her lips.She said I understand Alice don't worry, They are my family too and I love them and wouldn't leave them eitheir

They weren't always happy families though and they had their fair share of ups and downs.She didn't fight as much with the guards maybe some of them were easy to fight with but usually they were dead on.And when they did it was usually over something silly,they weren't serious or it lasted like five minutes.You need to escape?Maybe you should escape to one of my famous Parties at some timeAlice looked proud when she spoke of her parties and Ath had heard from friends that they were very good.Hmmm yes a party would be good for Ath, it would be good for her to let her hair down.She couldn't remember how long it had been from the last time she was at a really good party.She loved parties too, not in massive doeses but she liked a good one now and again.She loved getting dressed up and seeing friends and dancing and good music.Ath nodded quickly her head bobbing up and down Yeah I've heard of these famous parties and I'd love to be invitedAthy said.

Athenodora could see by her face that Alice had been dwelling on what Athenodora had said earlier about being locked in a tower and having to escape and although it was a bit true Ath didn't think Alice would take it seriously. She answered then "I can understand, it is the same for me." Even through Alice didn´t remebered much of her past, she knew it hadn´t been quiet happy. Her human parents had sent her off to the asylum, because they had thought she was crazy. They had thought that the visions she had, were just a sign of her going even more crazy. But now after she had become a vampire she did know it better. This visions she had when she had been human, had become even stronger when she had become a vampire. All Alice knew about her human life was that her parents had sent her to the asylum after they thought she was crazy. In the asylum she had been found by James who had chased after her. Then she had been changed into a vampire. After that she had a vision of Jasper and about finding the Cullens. Alice was now happy that she have had that vision, cause after all it had brought her, the family, better said her family that she really loved.

So a question came into her mind and she asked Athenodora a moment later "I just wondered something..." "Do you remeber much of your human life?" Alice knew how strange this question must sound to Athenodora. So she explaint to her why she had asked "See I don´t remeber anything and so I ask that everyone out of interest." She gave her new friend a smile after she had said it. "Yeah I've heard of these famous parties and I'd love to be invited." Alice smiled at her again and answered her "When I throw the next Party, I promise to invite you!" She laughed lightly as she added a moment later "Well most of my family doesn´t like the Parties so much, but well would be great to have someone who enjoyed it." She thought about her words and said a moment later "So consider yourself already as invited to the next one, but I guess I rather sent an invitation when I know the date." The little vampire couldn´t help but grin at her new friend. Maybe it was really good that Alice and Athenodora had become friends, maybe it even would make the whole situation with the Volturi better for them, she tought.

"Aw,thanks." she heared Athenodora reply to her compliment. So she said to her truthfully "You are welcome!" The talking with Athenodora really was fun to Alice. Sure normally she discussed such things with her family. But she already knew how they saw things and so it was more interesting to her to see how someone who was not part of her family thought about the whole events. Right now Alice was happy that she was the one who could talk to Athenodora, she wasn´t sure about it, but she believed that maybe Edward wouldn´t have allowed that Athenodora came into the house. After all he was worried about his daughter. But after all it had been her who had been home and so she could talk and make a new friend, what she was really thankfull for.

So Alice returned the question a moment later "And I hope your family is right as well." and smiled again. "Yeah sure I dont mind. Any ideas?" Alice thought and then said "Not yet, but think about it, after all you are finally out of your tower, is there anything you would really like to do?" Alice smiled at Athenodora warmly after she had said it and then waited for her friends answer.

Alice nodded and said I can understand, it is the same for meAlice understood her quite alot acctually and agreed with mostly everyhting she said.It was strange for Athneodora because she did not have the evil or ruthless streak everyone at home had so they didn't understand some of the thing Athenodora said but she did get on with them all the same but it was nice for her to feel she was making sense or saying the right thing for a change.She smiled at Alice Thanks,Im starting to find that you understand everything Im saying.I'm not exactly like the ones at home and they don't get me the way you do Alice.It's nice to have a friend like you.She felt it sounded a bit cheesey but she didn't know how to say what she just did in a way that was not cheesey.So she had to put that in because she knew she hated really cheesey things Sorry that sounded really cheesey

Alice looked as if she was thinking of something and then she asked I just wondered something...Do you remeber much of your human life?Alice had paused before she acctually asked the question which suggested to Ath she was unsure if she should of asked it or not.Athenodora's past was not a very good one, it had its up and downs.She remembered it quite clearly though the worst parts the most.Her life today although filled with death,blood and screams was to her a bit more pleasant than it was before she was changed.When Ath didn't answer straight away Alice went on to explain herself incase she offened her See I don´t remember anything and so I ask that everyone out of interest.Alice was a good friend to Ath and she wanted to get it off her chest because she hadn't spoken of her past in a long time.So she felt telling Alice would be a good thing to do so she did.Its okay Alice, I want to tell you...everything.So I'll start from the start.When I was quite little my parents died in a house fire.My aunt was there and she was a vampire, sit was hard for her being in a fire nd all.So she could only save me.She couldn't adopt me because she was still quite a new born and it was immensely hard just for her to visit me.My aunt promised me she'd come back someday though.So I went into care.Ath stopped to take a large breath.

She though it would be much easier for her to talk about this since it had been so long but it wasn't.It did however fell good like a bit of weight had lifted off her so she continued When I was in care I just wasn't acting like myself, I was shy and quiet and I never talked to anyone unless I was asked a question.I stayed in my room and my many hobbies kept me occupied.Then one day I met a girl named Michala and we became best friends.We were inceperable, Michala's many other friends became my friends too but we always liked eachother the best.Athenodra smiled when she talked of her, as if she were proud.She missed her alot and she knew no other friend could replace her.That didn't mean she wasn't as close to some friends as she was to Michala though, infact at this moment whilst she was opening up to Alice she felt very close to her.Anyways everything was going great.......until Michala got adopted and one by one so did my other friends.Always the one I liked the best went first.I stayed the person Michala made me again though..and I still am today.Now she smiled cause she was proud of Michala and a bit of herself.It wasn't easy not to crawl back into that person who shyed away from everyone.But she did it for Michala.I was never adopted but when I was old enough I got a job and a small flat I shared with a flatmate.And soon enough my aunt came back as promised.She told me everything, she think to ask me if I wanted to be changed just bit me and left.I went looking for others like me and the first I found was the Volturi and now hear I am, a wife locked in a towerShe said, she rolled her eyes at the last bit and had a bit of a giggle.
