 It was early in the morning, although it was weekend. But Claire was already awake, she hadn´t slept very much this night. She didn´t knew why, but now she had enough of lying around in her bed. So she gave up. Claire rolled out of her bed. Silently to not make any noise that could wake her mother or her father. Fastly she looked around her room for a few clothes, which she found really fastly. So she changed into a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, a brown wool jackett and over it her blue leather jackett. She got a pair of shoes and put them on. Fastly she grabbed a hairbrush and pulled it through her hair a few times. Until they didn´t looked like a haystack anymore. Silently not making a sound she got to her window and opened it. Claire looked out of her window to check the street. A moment she hesitated, but then she pushed that thought aside and climbed out of her window. Looking back at the house again, she was happy to see that no lights had went on inside, what meant her mother and her father had noticed she was about to disappear.
Aimelessly she started to walk through the streets of Forks. Watching the streets in the pale light of the early morning. The morning let everything appear different to her. Not that Claire was afraid of the soft darkness that was still over town, if she was honest she even liked the night. She loved the quietness and peacefullness that was everywhere around her when it was dark. She noticed that the cold air that was pulling on her hair and clothes, was quiet comfortable to her. It was calming and made her relax to be outside and to take a walk, at least for Claire. Whenever she wanted to get away from everything, she just needed a walk and a chance to let her thoughts free. Now she was on her way through the main street, which wasn´t a really big street. But she kept walking, until Forks slowly dissapeared behind her. After she had walked for a while she saw La Push appearing in front of her. In that moment a small smile crossed her face. La Push was her second home, there was no place where she could feel happier. Sure her home town was Forks, but most of her time she spent down here in La Push. Finally she reached the center of the small reservation.
She continued her way through town, until she reached a few parking lots, which were a bit farer away from the city. They were right next to the beach, there Claire stopped unsure where to go next. But before she had really thought about it, she was on her way down the small stairs to the beach. As she felt the sand under her feet, she sighed in relieve, here she felt free from everything. Claire walked along the beach, she wanted to get to a place a bit away from the beginning of the beach. The beach was so different to most other places, Claire thought. The air smelled salty, the waves coming to the beach and the constant moving of the water was to hear. As a child Claire had spent nearly every day at the beach together with Quil, she had played here for hours, but that had been a long time ago, she thought. Now that she had become older her relationship with Quil had changed, they were dating now. Claire was completely happy with the fact that Quil had imprinted on her. He was not only her boyfriend he was also her best friend, he understood her without words. All that made her love him even more.
Continuing her way along the beach she walked for a bit longer. A moment later Claire thought about what time it was by now, but she had not taken her watch with her. But she could see a beautifull sunrise at the beach, what made her guess she had walked for quiet some time. The sunrises down here in La Push were one of the most beautifull things that Claire had ever seen, she thought to herself. Claire now reached her favourite place on the beach. It was far away from the place where all the tourists normally were. It was a small bay which was hidden behind a few huge rocks. Here was one of the places where she was used to go with Quil. He knew she liked the beach so they spent some of their time together down here. Now she sat down to the sandy ground and tucked up her legs. Watching the waves, which were glittering in the sunrise, rolling to the beach. Suddenly she heared a sound and turned around into the direction from where it was coming. As she saw who was appearing a huge and happy smile appeared on her face.
