KENNEDY LEXUS OASISI LIKE THE WAY YOUR HAIR FALLS IN YOUR FACEYOU'VE GOT THE KEYS TO ME, I LOVE EACH FRECKLE ON YOUR FACEOH, I’VE NEVER BEEN SO WRAPPED UP, HONEY
Kennedy was absolutely FURIOUS at the current moment in time. And to get Kennedy furious, or even the slightest bit angry, you had to do something pretty damn bad. Even when that nasty Jersey boy took her virginity and made her impure she wasn’t as mad as she was now. Though that was mostly because she partially blamed herself for that. But for this? No, this was all Ellie’s fault. She didn’t understand why her sister was being so freaking…so…so mean! What had Kennedy done to deserve that? Nothing! She was just going her own little way in life, keeping people happy, and then Eleanor had to go and decide what she should and shouldn’t do with her time. Kennedy was nineteen years old, for goodness sake! She would have at least thought by now that she would have a good enough judge of character to pick her own friends. If anything, Ellie was the one that needed help picking who she should hang out with. It was Ellie that made her go to the stupid party, it was Ellie that left her alone, and then she had to fend for herself in a place she had never been before with strange people that wanted to do inappropriate things with her. That was all on Ellie’s head, no Kennedy’s.
So where on Earth did Eleanor get off on saying that she wasn’t allowed to see Lucas anymore? Lucas was her closest friend, aside from her sisters, and she loved hanging out with him. He made her feel special and valuable. He made her feel like she actually mattered to someone in the world. Not to mention for whatever weird reason it always felt like she had butterflies in her stomach around him and she couldn’t think straight. Lucas was perfectly nice to her and he treated her the best any boy had ever treated her before. So why would Ellie say these impossible lies to her? She told her about how he’d sleep with anything that moved- which sounded questionable to Kennedy because if that included cars and animals, then ew- and that he had slept with more people than she could count on two hands. Why would she make up these lies about Lucas? She told her how he wasn’t the best to women and that he didn’t treat them right. She told her how he’d party and was almost always at the same ones she was at. Kennedy was furious when Ellie said she wasn’t allowed to see him anymore. So furious that she even felt that familiar change coming on.
It started in the bit of her stomach then worked its way through her joints and bones. She stormed out of the room like a little blonde bunny that was out for revenge and flew down the stair well. She had no time for the elevator unless her whole apartment wanted to see what she really was. She ran out of the building to the little clearing that was lined with a foresty area behind the building. She tried to reach the edge of the forest but all she could do was get their, quickly get out of her clothes, before all of a sudden there was a small white wolf in her place. She had taken off her clothes just in time, too. A second later and they would be in shreds. She found herself crouching behind the bushes in fear that someone would see her, but she didn’t know what she was supposed to do now. She looked around and something struck her heart when she saw someone standing there looking at her. She rose slightly so she could see properly and her heart just about dropped. any clothes? am i nude? am I crazy? what’s in my head? any words? 624 reading this? lucas <3 template maker? @ CLARKY ! How could Ellie do something like that? How could she tell Lucas not to see Kennedy anymore? She had no right to say what she did to him that day, but since Lucas had seen her that day he hadn’t been over to see Kennedy. Lucas was furious with Ellie, but something told him not to cross her. But he could help but be angry with her! She didn’t know what she was talking about. Lucas wasn’t the same guy she’d known back in the day. He hardly partied anymore because he was almost always with Kennedy. Lucas was hardly a bad influence on her. All they did was talk, it wasn’t like he was trying to get into Kennedy’s pants, he just wasn’t like that. He didn’t want to get in her pants, he just wanted to talk to her. There was something about Kennedy that made Lucas come back everyday, or when he could anyways. So, Ellie had no right to say that he couldn’t see her sister anymore. Lucas stormed around his apartment thinking of a way he could see Kennedy with out Ellie knowing, but his mind couldn’t think of anything. All he could think about was how and WHEN Ellie decided to tell him to stay away from Kennedy. She could have waited till they were alone, and not announce it to his work place. He got chewed out for that one, the boss man did not like that he had some crazy ass blonde chick in his place yelling at Lucas. Yeah, Lucas didn’t like it much either. Lucas couldn’t help how he felt towards Kennedy, so having heard Ellie say what she did just made him more angry. He really needed to stop replaying the scene in his head before he broke something.
The only thing Lucas could think of was to go over to Kennedy’s house, and demand he speak with her. Lucas wasn’t going to give up with out a fight, and he’d be damned if he let Ellie tell him what to do. She had no room whatsoever to be talking to him about excessive partying when that’s all she did. She was the one who had brought her sister to a party, and left her alone. It was terrible what had happened to Kennedy, and Jersey was lucky he wasn’t here anymore or Lucas would’ve killed him. Kennedy hadn’t deserved that, and it was partially Ellie’s fault for bring her sister to a party like that. Lucas made up his mind, he was going to Kennedy’s and was going to have a nice little talk with Ellie, then he was going to talk to Kennedy. Well, maybe he’d talk to Kennedy first then Ellie. That’d probably be the better idea, he didn’t want Ellie to call the cops on him or something. That would only just to say that Lucas was a bad influence, and didn’t need to be around Kennedy. Not that he hadn’t ever been arrested before, but he didn’t honestly feel like going to jail at the moment. He felt more like staying on the outside, and going to see Kennedy. Lucas grabbed some clothes from his closet and slipped them on. He quickly brushed his messy hair, grabbed his car keys, and headed over to Kennedy’s house. He didn’t care what it took, he wasn’t going to lose her. He couldn’t explain the feeling he had when he was around her, but it was a good feeling. Lucas couldn’t lose something like that, not again. Ellie just didn’t understand, and hopefully Lucas could explain it to her. He doubted it would help, but he was hoping, oh how he was hoping, that she would stay calm enough to listen to him. Lucas didn’t like opening up to Ellie, but it had to be done. He couldn’t risk losing the one good thing in his life.
Lucas could see the change in himself since Kennedy had walked into his life. Sure, he still had the bad boy side to him, he doubted that would ever leave him. But Lucas was making better choices now. He didn’t support his mother’s bad habits anymore, he didn’t lend her money whenever she needed it. He didn’t even see her that much anymore. All these changed had to do with Kennedy, she made him want to be a better person. Plus, Kennedy needed him too. She needed someone to protect her, to keep all the bad people away. Lucas didn’t want her to see the ugly of the world. So, now Lucas was driving a little too fast to get to her apartment. When he arrived at her place, Lucas parked the car and jogged up to her door. Lucas hesitated when his fist came up to the door because he heard a dim voice. It didn’t sound like Kennedy, it sounded Ellie. Was she on the phone or something? She said something about Kennedy storming out of the apartment. Well, that let Lucas know NOT to knock on the door. He backed up, and walked around towards the woods area. Kennedy seemed to like the woods. She didn’t look like someone who would like it, but whatever. Lucas saw movement, and assumed it was Kennedy. When he was jogging to catch up with her, he saw articles of clothing everywhere.
He came to a halt a little ways away from Kennedy because when she stopped, a white wolf took her place. Lucas simply stared at the wolf, he couldn’t believe his eyes. He must be seeing things, it wasn’t possible for a human to turn into a wolf. Especially a girl like Kennedy. Lucas blinked a few times, and ran his hand through his already messed up hair. He looked around to see if there was some camera people around, no one shouting out “GOTCHA!” Sadly, that was not happening. Lucas honestly had no words for what he just saw, he knew that something like this was impossible. Lucas moved his eyes from the wolf, to the ground, and decided it would be best if he sat down. So, he sat down on the ground, and took a few deep breaths. Lucas finally looked up at the wolf, and whispered softly, ”Kennedy?”

KENNEDY LEXUS OASISI LIKE THE WAY YOUR HAIR FALLS IN YOUR FACEYOU'VE GOT THE KEYS TO ME, I LOVE EACH FRECKLE ON YOUR FACEOH, I’VE NEVER BEEN SO WRAPPED UP, HONEY
If you were to ask Kennedy one thing she was afraid of, she would answer with a variety of possible different answers. Spiders, clowns, dust, dust mites, the dark, thunderstorms. But it would never cross her mind to say the one thing that she was probably the most afraid of in the world: someone finding out that she was a werewolf. She never really thought about it. Oh, not the whole being a werewolf thing, no she thought about that a lot. It was the whole people finding out about it thing. She didn’t really have any friends outside of her sisters. It had never occurred to her that there might have been a chance that Lucas would find out about her. She talked very openly to her sisters about being a werewolf but she knew enough not to tell other people. If you were to have asked her if she was a werewolf she would lie, but if you were to look at her change from human to wolf she couldn’t exactly lie about that. And you know what? That was something she had never really thought of before. Her temper was not bad usually and she didn’t phase unless she was forced to. She was one of the rare wolves that didn’t come with a temper and for that reason she never had to worry about changing in front of people. If she ever felt the occasional feeling of bones popping, she’d run out to the woods and would be under the cover of the trees. She never thought she would never make it before. She always thought that she would be under the protective shrubbery or that no one would be around. She wasn’t careless usually. She’d go far out into the woods, she’d hide her clothes in a certain place, she’d make sure there were no true humans around while she phased or while she was a wolf. She never thought her sister, another would, would be the person to reveal her secret to the only guy she was friends with.
It was never her plan for Lucas to know what she was. Why would he need to know? They were friends. It wasn’t like they were freaking married with a bunch of kids running around. Not that Kennedy could even have kids. She couldn’t and that just about broke her heart. At least, Ellie claimed she couldn’t have kids. She was probably just saying that because no female werewolf had had kids before because female werewolves were so rare. Whatever, the point remained that Kennedy never wanted Lucas to find out about her, let alone see her as a wolf. For some reason the thought made her heart hurt and her stomach upset. She didn’t want Lucas thinking she was something other than whatever he wanted her to be. She had come to the realization that if he asked her to be something she’d be that person for him. She could be his little beauty queen or the girl living next door. Whatever he wanted. But she knew without even being inside his head that a wolf would be the last thing he truly wanted from her. What guy wanted to be around a girl that could turn into a…a…a monster! She hated herself and she hated the fact that she could turn into this creature. She knew that Lucas was going to hate her for it. He was going to run away out of sheer terror and probably never want to talk to her again. That thought almost made her cry, but she could never cry when she was in wolf form. Kennedy didn’t notice his arrival at first, but when she did, that was the moment that fear ran through her. She stood half in the cover of the bushes and looked blankly at him. She had to be dreaming. There was no other explanation for it. This was all some sort of horrible nightmare that would go away. It HAD to go away, right? If only she could pinch herself and tell herself to wake up right now.
Then she heard him speak. Oh dear, this really was real, wasn’t it? What was she supposed to do. She lowered her head and looked at the ground. She couldn’t look at him like this. She didn’t want him seeing her like this at all. She had two options. She could run away- which would probably be the smart thing to do- or she could stay and change back into a human. Obviously she couldn’t stay in wolf form. Her anger was now gone: it was replaced by fear. This made it easier for her to change back. She momentarily went behind a tree so he mostly couldn’t see her and she felt her joints popping and cracking. Soon she was standing there with the gentle breeze against her skin. She stood behind the tree for a moment, to think and to catch her breath, before she hesitantly stuck her head out from behind the tree. Kennedy looked at Lucas with nervous, terrified eyes. “Can you hand me my clothes, please?”
she asked so quietly with a quiver in her voice. She needed to talk to him, obviously, but she was not going to let him see her without any clothes on. She already had that happen with one boy and look how that turned out. “Lucas…please don’t be scared…” she said, her breath choked in her throat. She didn’t know what to say. This had never happened before and no one ever told her what to do if it did happen. “Lucas, please, please don’t hate me. I don’t want that,” she said quietly. Kennedy bit her lip and looked at the ground again. She didn’t know what to say. She was completely lost. The one time when she needed her big sister the most was the one time she couldn’t ask for her help. Tears dared to escape from her bright blue eyes but she tried to keep them in. “I’m sorry.” And she meant it. She was sorry that she was a werewolf. She was sorry that she had to keep a secret like this from him. She was sorry he ever had to find out. She was sorry she was a freak.[/blockquote] any clothes? am i nude? am I crazy? what’s in my head? any words? 1055 reading this? lucas <3 template maker? @ CLARKY ! Lucas Joshua Carter All that I'm after is a life full of laughter as long as I'm laughin with you stuck in my head ?! wearing ?!
It was odd, Lucas couldn’t really describe what exactly he was feeling. Usually he had very simple feelings such as, lust, hate, or something along those lines, but not this time. When he was with Kennedy, his feelings went way beyond being simple. They went complex, and confusing, and really wished someone would explain what was happening to him because it wasn’t getting anymore easier when he was away from her. Lucas really disliked Ellie at the moment, she couldn’t keep him away from someone like Kennedy, he couldn’t stand to be away from her, it irritated him. It made him feel like he was whipped or something, but when he wasn’t with her he felt like something was missing from him. Lucas couldn’t help this feeling, it was just something that decided to pop up one day when he had met her at the shop he worked at. He wondered what would have happened if he had never met her, then decided he really didn’t want to think about it, and yet he still found himself pondering if he would be the same person he was weeks ago. Partying with girls, sleeping with them, then never seeing them again. Lucas hadn’t been with a girl for a least a month, since he had started to talk to Kennedy. When he had met her, it was like everything just opened up to him, and he found a true purpose. But sometimes, Lucas wished that purpose would just mind it’s own business because he liked the life he had had before Kennedy. Not that he didn’t like life with her, but it was weird to have something new, he liked the old. New things scared him, and Lucas wasn’t one to always embrace new things.
He was sure that if he was given the chance to run, he would. Not because he didn’t like Kennedy, but because he did like Kennedy. Lucas didn’t want to screw that up, and he knew himself. He was pretty sure that he would screw it up by doing something stupid. Lucas probably should have called or something, but he had those impulses, and he tended to do things without thinking. As most knew, that tended to get him into a pickle when he did. Lucas really should fix that about himself, but he had to see Kennedy, he did not care what Ellie had to say about. He was going to see her, and the only way Ellie was going to get her way was if she killed him or something impossible happened. Lucas didn’t doubt the first one, but the second, Lucas doubted that anything was going to happen anytime soon. Plus, it wasn’t as if she turned into a monster or something. That would be ridiculous, not to mention impossible! If someone could do that, well, Lucas would be very impressed, not to mention very freaked out. He didn’t even know if he could take something like that in, he’d probably faint or pass out. Lucas, again, wasn’t very good with change or new things. He liked his old things, and didn’t want to change them. That obviously meant that he was NOT prepared for the shock of his life, which was a really big shock. Lucas was hoping that everything he had just seen was a total dream, but something in his gut was telling him it wasn’t. The girl he likes just turned into a huge freaking wolf, not that she was as beautiful as a wolf as she was in person, but um, HELLO! She just turned into a freaking wolf, yeah, Lucas was pretty sure that he was going to have a heart attack or something.
Lucas watched as she trotted to the forest for cover, what on earth was she doing? He hoped she wasn’t running away because he’d really like to talk about what he just saw. He wasn’t even sure how he was going to comprehend what he just saw. Lucas didn’t even know if that was possible, to be able to comprehend what he just saw. He knew that he was having a hell of a time doing it. Then again, he was kind of not into the whole shifting of a body thing, he was use to normal people. What Kennedy did shouldn’t even be humanly possible. Lucas was trying to go over what he saw in his head, maybe it was a trick of the light or something, but his mind was screaming other wise. What he saw was real, there was no covering up what he saw, and Lucas was scared shitless. Lucas snapped out of his haze when she asked him to bring her clothes to her. Lucas got up, gathered her clothes, and headed over towards the trees where she was. When he got closer to where she was, Lucas covered his eyes, and said, ”Here.” Lucas walked back over to where he had been seated before, and sat down again. Lucas didn’t even know what to say to her. He couldn’t say everything was going to be okay because quite frankly, Lucas didn’t know if that was true. Lucas looked up, and said softly, ”I don’t hate you Kennedy, I couldn’t hate you even if I wanted too. I’ve tried.”
Lucas might be freaked out, but he didn’t hate her. Far from it actually, he wouldn’t call it love, but he didn’t hate her. Lucas couldn’t feel that towards her, it was one of those complex feelings he got when she was around him. Lucas still didn’t move from where he was, but he knew that he should comfort her. ”I should’ve called or something, and not rushed over here like I did, there isn’t anything for you to be sorry for,” he said, getting up and standing in the spot he had been at. Lucas didn’t want to be pushy, but he had to know what had just happened. ”Um Kennedy, what did you just…what did you just do? You turned into a…a huge wolf.” Lucas glanced around nervously. He excepted Ellie to come out, and say, ‘haha, gotcha!’ But none of that was happening, so it was defiantly real. [/blockquote][/blockquote] TAGS?! Kennedy<3 STATUS?! complete LYRICS?! KENNEDY LEXUS OASISI LIKE THE WAY YOUR HAIR FALLS IN YOUR FACEYOU'VE GOT THE KEYS TO ME, I LOVE EACH FRECKLE ON YOUR FACEOH, I’VE NEVER BEEN SO WRAPPED UP, HONEY
One of the things that scared her the most was how things were going to be different between them now. She may have been completely oblivious to the world and extremely innocent, but she wasn’t a complete idiot. She knew that after big moments people tended to act differently towards others, even if they promised that they wouldn’t. Would he hate her now, secretly, even if he said he didn’t? Or what if he just came out and said that she was a monster, a freak, a disgrace and that he never wanted to be around her? These thoughts were tearing her up inside and she realized just how much she valued having him in her life. She had never felt so strongly attached to another person before but she knew if he were to say that he never wanted to see her again or call her a monster that she would die inside. Even though it wasn’t stormy outside, in her heart it felt like there were swirls of thunder and lightning dancing around, just waiting to destroy her hopes and dreams and just waiting to tell her that he didn’t want her. It was like the storm clouds were just waiting to engulf her and take away her reason for being there. She felt like she was being overly dramatic and she didn’t know why she was acting that way. All she knew was that she wanted to stop being such a drama queen on the inside but she couldn’t help herself. Something about Lucas made her want to be perfect for him. But a wolf? A wolf was not perfection and she knew that there would always be a part of him that would worry that she would hurt him. She knew it, or he wouldn’t be a normal human. Even she worried that Ellie would hurt her sometimes, though that was more because Ellie had a terrible temper. Kennedy was not graced with the same sort of temper, thankfully.
That wasn’t to say that Kennedy never got mad. Oh, she got mad alright, but she mostly kept it under control. Growing up her parents never allowed her to show her displeasure or disproval of something so now that just sort of stuck. She let all her anger bubble underneath the surface until it exploded, like what just happened. She had been dealing with Eleanor saying mean things about Lucas for long enough and her telling Kennedy that she wasn’t allowed to see him was the last straw. She would be twenty years old soon and no one had the right to boss her around anymore. Although she was a quiet, sweet little girl Kennedy had grown to learn that she didn’t like people telling her what she could and couldn’t do. If Eleanor continued bossing her around and preventing her from hanging out with people then she was no better than their parents. Kennedy would tell her that, too, if she didn’t stop being such a…such a…meanie! Kennedy just wanted to scream, though considering what was already probably going through Lucas’ mind at the current point in time screaming was probably not the best thing to add to the equation. “Thank you,”
she said softly as she changed quickly. She slowly emerged from behind the tree, scared that he was going to hate her, scared of…well, everything. She never wanted this to happen. She was a tiny girl but she had never felt so small and insignificant in her life. Though it was somewhat reassuring when he said he didn’t hate her, there was still a part of her, a horrible, annoying part of her, that thought he might. “Are you sure?” she asked quietly and was almost afraid to walk over to wear he was. Instead she stood awkwardly by the edge of the forest on the grassy side. It would have been even more awkward if she was standing randomly in the bushes. She just didn’t want to get too close to him and freak him out. She wasn’t going to change again but he didn’t know that. She fiddled nervously first with the hem of her shirt and second with her necklace. The cross that hung from her neck reminded her that if there was ever a time that she needed some faith on her side, it was now. She sent a silent prayer in her mind and just prayed that everything would be okay. She didn’t know how well it would work though. She had never asked for anything before and she was hoping that He could grant her this one thing. Kennedy shook her head and her long blonde curls hung around her. “No, Ellie would have answered the phone,” she said. Kennedy bit her lip and tried not to let the tears well up in her eyes but it was hard. Though Kennedy had lead a restricted life it had been a simple life. She wasn’t used to all of these emotions and she wasn’t used to dealing with people from the outside world. Everything was so different and overwhelming for her right now. “Ellie said I wasn’t allowed to see you anymore,” she said sadly, offering an explanation as to why calling her wouldn’t have worked. Eleanor probably would have cursed at Lucas and slammed the phone on him anyways. Not that Kennedy approved of that, but her sister looked more like a wolf than she did. Eleanor was tall, athletic, and could take her in a fight for the phone. Or a fight for anything, really. Kennedy was the odd one out since she was short. Even Parker was taller than her and she wasn’t even really a wolf yet. “No one was supposed to see that,” she said nervously. She shifted her wait, unable to stand still, and tried to figure out the best way to tell him. She wasn’t supposed to, but either way she was going to be in trouble. Might as well tell him the whole truth. “I’m…different.” Understatement of the century. “I can, well, do that. Change into…that. Kind of like a werewolf, I guess,” she tried to explain. “Except we’re not actually werewolves. No, those are children of the moon. We can change whenever; they can only change on a full moon. We’re shapeshifters,” she said for a lack of a better thing to call it. She knew that’s the technicality those vampires had used to get them out of the hot seat when the mean vampires came. Thankfully Kennedy hadn’t been around for that. She was the last person that could fight. She didn’t know if Lucas would believe anything she was saying, but then again he did see her with his own two eyes.[/blockquote] any clothes? am i nude? am I crazy? what’s in my head? any words? 1129 reading this? lucas <3 template maker? @ CLARKY ! I've been looking for a lifeline for what seems like a lifetime. I'm drowning in the pain. ▪ ▫ ▪ ▫ ▪ ▫ Lucas wasn’t really sure what was going to happen now that this was all out in the open. He wasn’t sure he wanted to know how this would end. As much as he liked Kennedy, he just didn’t know how to handle something like this, and well, he didn’t think he could. There were just some things that shouldn’t be seen, and Lucas knew that he couldn’t comprehend what was going on. Not many people would be able to either, he knew that much. Lucas wondered how many people actually knew that was going on in this town. He wondered why this had to happen to him, why couldn’t he go on being an oblivious guy? Why couldn’t life just be simple, and stay the way he always knew it as? Lucas was sure that if there was a God out there somewhere, that he must hate Lucas because of all the cruel jokes he’s played. This God guy must think that Lucas could handle all this stuff, but that was a straight up lie, he couldn’t handle something this big. It was just way too much for him, and his tiny little brain to think about. As Lucas looked a Kennedy, he imagined a pure white wolf. How could something so sweet be something so strange? Lucas didn’t want to categorize Kennedy into the group of monsters because he didn’t believe that she could be something like that.
Lucas was really clueless on how this all was going to work. He was kind of scared that she might try to eat him or something. He wasn’t positive on that part, but he really hoped that she decided that she liked him enough not to eat him or kill him. Those options would be very bad, mainly for him. Lucas didn’t know how this whole situation for her worked out. He didn’t know if she had a thing for flesh and blood or something like that. Lucas would probably become an excellent runner if she decided that she wanted to munch on him for a snack, not that he had any real chance of escaping anyways. If she wanted to eat him, she’d be able too. Lucas was after all, just a human, right? Right. Lucas was glad he could find humor in this time of possible death because he was sure that if he hadn’t, he’d break down in hysteria. ”Yeah, I’m sure. I could try, but I don’t think it’d work too well,”
he told her simply. It was the truth, sadly. Right now, Lucas really wished that he had hated her, well at least tried harder because he didn’t want any of this freaky stuff. He wasn’t meant for it. Another thing he could really use at the moment was a very strong drink. He would deal with the headache in the morning, but he was sure that he was in need of getting drunk. That was another thing, Lucas had stopped doing a lot of things because of Kennedy, but he didn’t want to change for anyone. Lucas glanced to the ground, he didn’t really know what to say at this point and time. There wasn’t really much for him to say really. Just that he was freaked out, and that she should stay where she was because he would end up taking off down the road. He wouldn’t leave his car, but that didn’t matter. What mattered was that he had to figure out what he was going to do. But his thoughts were stopped when she said, ”Ellie said I wasn’t allowed to see you anymore.” So, Ellie was telling everyone what to do now. ”Funny, she told me the same thing. Made a whole scene where I work at,” Lucas simply said. So, this whole thing was making Lucas mad because honestly, Ellie had to right to be telling him or Kennedy what to do. Kennedy was old enough to take care of herself, and Lucas didn’t even have anything to do with Ellie. This whole friendship was between Lucas and Kennedy, not Lucas, Kennedy, and Ellie. ”Clearly no one was suppose to see it.” Lucas wasn’t trying to sound mean, but it just sort of slipped out. Lucas stared at Kennedy as she started to talk. Werewolves? Shape shifters? What, did he walk into some fantasy world or something? Lucas shook his head slightly, and just stared at her. His mind was trying to click it together, but it wasn’t really working very well for him. ”Different? Don’t you think that’s a bit of an understatement? I mean, you change into a WOLF! Yeah, so maybe Lucas wasn’t taking this as well as he wanted or planned too. He was really trying to remain calm, but it wasn’t really working. Lucas was beyond staying in control of what was going on. Lucas looked at her and asked, ”So, are you going to tell me next that there are vampires, zombies, demons, and angels too? Because this is some pretty heavy stuff you just laid on me, and quite frankly I’m having a hard time comprehending everything that just happened.” He defiantly wasn’t ready for this. He probably should just leave, but he wanted to hear her answer. He wanted to know what kind of things this small town has been hiding from everyone. KENNEDY LEXUS OASISI LIKE THE WAY YOUR HAIR FALLS IN YOUR FACEYOU'VE GOT THE KEYS TO ME, I LOVE EACH FRECKLE ON YOUR FACEOH, I’VE NEVER BEEN SO WRAPPED UP, HONEY
Kennedy regarded Lucas with a mixture of fear and curiosity. It was strange to think that out of the two of them she was the one that was probably more frightened but it was true. Jacob, the pack leader, and told her that she could never tell a human about what she was. In fact it was an order and yet here she was, about to ruin that. She didn’t know what was going to happen. Was she going to get kicked out? Maybe. That was probably the least of her worries. She knew that for vampires that told humans they would most likely get killed by the Volturi or they would have to eat the human they told. But it was a bit different for shapeshifters. They didn’t exactly eat people. No, they were the ones that were there to protect them. She thought that she had been doing a good job of that. She went to work, she cleaned up the apartment, she went grocery shopping, and she went on patrol. Wasn’t that what she was supposed to do? So why was everything going so wrong all of a sudden? Kennedy probably shouldn’t have been so surprised. She always knew that people didn’t receive her well because she was so different. They didn’t accept her religious views, they thought she was a home schooled freak, they thought she was a circus freak, they treated her like she was five years old. But now this werewolf thing? To Kennedy, the girl that rarely ever complained, it seemed like this were not exactly fair. “It’d be nice if you didn’t try,”
she pointed out shyly, sadly. She didn’t want him to attempt to hate her. The thought just ate away at her insides incredibly uncomfortably. Even though she didn’t want him to hate her she secretly wondered if it would make everything easier. He could hate her and just leave her life and he wouldn’t have to be involved with her. Maybe in a few years he’d look back at all of this and just think that it had been some sort of bad dream. Kennedy wondered if Eleanor was going to make them move. That seemed like a possibility, though she doubted that they should be leaving their safety net of other werewolves. She didn’t know what to do. She had done everything to make sure a human never saw her for what she was, but within a second all because for once in her life she let her anger get the best of her all the hard work the Oasis sisters put in to being normal was shattered. And it was all her fault. She wasn’t dumb despite her child like demeanor and she knew that there were going to be repercussions. Kennedy frowned and shot a glance up at the apartment window. “I don’t want people controlling my life anymore,” Kennedy admitted sadly and played awkwardly with her hands. She had done everything she was supposed to her entire life and look at where it had gotten her. She couldn’t perform anymore, she couldn’t act normally in society, and she still had her sister controlling her. “I want to do things I want to do,” she added. Right now that seemed a little bit far fetched. She was always under someone’s control. Her parents, her sister, her pack leader. At Lucas’ next comment Kennedy dropped her hands and looked up at him with hurt in her innocent blue eyes. “No, they weren’t,” she said, her voice so quiet it was almost a whisper. His words stung like she had been stabbed with a dagger made of ice. Rude. Kennedy hated having to explain everything to Lucas but he asked and she owed him that much. She would have continued to try and explain to him what she was but he started talking instead. She looked at him, lost and confused, and didn’t know what to say. Why was he being so mean? It wasn’t something she could control. She couldn’t control the way she was born like people controlled her. It just didn’t work that way. The tears that had pricked at her eyes were about to jump ship and roll down her cheeks and frankly she didn’t feel like stopping them. She hated being yelled at and she had been yelled at her whole life. She never thought a friend would do it to her. “I’m sorry,” she said quietly. “You asked…I thought…” she trailed off and was too scared to talk. She didn’t like him yelling at her and being so mean. She couldn’t comprehend why he was acting like this towards her. Somehow it hurt worse than when other people were mean to her. She thought he was her friend. Friends weren’t supposed to be mean to each other. “Vampires exist,” she said flatly. “That other stuff doesn’t. Not that I know of, anyways,” she mumbled. What did she know? Not a whole heck of a lot, apparently, since everyone was always talking to her like she was an idiot. That just offended her. She knew she was a bit more naive than everyone else and she knew that she hadn’t been out in the real world for that long, but she wasn’t stupid. She had no mental challenges and she was a twenty year old woman with a brain. Yet they treated her like she was a five year old. They thought they could bully her and she wasn’t going to have that anymore. “Stop being mean, please,” she said so quietly that it was probably inaudible. Some of the tears finally came crashing down her face and she stood there hopelessly looking at the ground and feeling even smaller than she was. “I can’t change what I am. It’s not my fault, either. I never asked for this and quite frankly it has ruined my life.”[/blockquote] any clothes? am i nude? am I crazy? what’s in my head? any words? 985 reading this? lucas <3 template maker? @ CLARKY !
