May stared at her reflection in the foggy mirror. A white towel was wrapped around her head, holding back her head full of wet, brown curls. She grabbed the hand towel from above the sink and wiped away the condensation to look at herself. To be honest, May couldn’t say that she was exactly pleased with the way she was right now. She looked tired. Maybe she didn’t have huge bags under her eyes, but her body felt tired. She slept almost constantly nowadays, yet it never seemed to be enough. She had a zit that needed covering but hadn’t seen makeup in months. May couldn’t find the energy to even bother with makeup anymore. Who was she kidding? Danny was gone and he was never coming back. The letters had stopped. What killed her more than her own doings was the fact that he lied to her and kept so many secrets. Chase left too. God, just when she was finally distracting herself from the crap around her, another person had to leave. It wasn’t fair. Then again, life wasn’t really fair at all, was it? If life were fair, her parents would still be there to great her in the mornings. If life were fair, she wouldn’t be living on her own.
If life were fair, she wouldn’t have tried to kill herself. Then Caellum left and she tried it again. God, she failed at the whole killing herself ordeal. But alas, shit happened, but sometimes she didn’t want to deal with that shit. But hey, it was inevitable, wasn’t it? It was hardest the first few months. When everything was fresh. Or maybe not. May firmly believed it was the hardest when she found out about Danny, then Danny leaving in the first place. He was a vampire, an honest to freaking God vampire. What was with that shit? Seriously? Even she could accept him though, but he refused. She wanted to save him, but he refused her blood. She didn’t know what would happen to her if he took her blood, but she didn’t care at the time. She just wanted him in her life so badly.Sighing, she pulled the towel from her head and let her half dry hair cascade down her slender shoulders. She ran her fingers through it, then went to her bedroom. The door to her parents’ room had been shut since the day they died. She ignored it every time she passed by. When she got to her room, she grabbed a bunch ofclothes and threw them on without much thought. A few of her friends wanted to take her out tonight. After what happened a few weeks ago, they just wanted her to act like a normal teenager. Of course, May hated clubs so she had no idea why she agreed to it, but maybe she could get drunk or something, not that she normally did that.
May sighed as she made her way back to the washroom. She threw on some makeup and then grabbed her car keys. Might as well take the car; despite wanting to get drunk, she knew she wouldn’t. Not after her parents were killed by a drunk driver. She was never going to touch alcohol if she could. When May arrived at the club, she found that she did not know how to dress for a club. She got the short dress and heels part right, but the other girls seemed to be a hell of a lot more slutty. Whatever. Let people pay attention to them. She was perfectly content with that. May greeted her friends and hung with them for a while, but slowly grew bored of that. They knew she wasn’t into clubs yet they kept trying to get her to dance and drink. May eventually gave up and wandered over to the bar. The closest thing she was going to get to anything alcoholic was ginger ale. At least it resembled champagne. She sat at the bar and ran her finger slowly around the rim of the glass. Would her friends kill her for leaving early?

Rexx really didn't have much to do tonight. He had learned to control himself around humans. So, he knew if he were to go out tonight and go to the club in Port Angeles that he'd be fine. Rexx wasn't going to harm anyone and this was going to be a big test for him to pass. But he believed in himself. He smiled a little as he got out of the shower and put some clothes on. He got himself all together and sprayed some axe on himself as he brushed his hair out. He looked down at his OUTFIT. He was looking rather good tonight. Hopefully he could meet a nice girl. At least he was hoping for that. Rexx had did everything to get ready for the night ahead of him. He walked down stairs and looked around his empty mansion. It was more than lonely now. Since he didn't even have his maid around anymore. Now he was the one cleaning his big home. He appreciated to have someone before clean for him after he had been cleaning his own place now for years. He had gotten the hang of it in no time. Rexx took a long breathe before he headed out his front door to go to his big red truck. He loved his truck. He had always worked on his beauty. He had wished he had a girlfriend but thanks to being a vampire it wasn't so easy to come across a girl that wasn't freaked out by it.
He unlocked the truck and got into it. He put his keys into the ignition. Rexx started his truck and started to drive out of his long driveway. He passed all of the trees and bushes and finally got to see the road. He turned his truck onto the road and started driving up the road. It'd take him only twenty minutes top to get to the club. Rexx put some music on and started singing along to the tunes. He had finally got close to the club and was around feeling the vibe from the club. Rexx got to the main road to the club as he pulled onto a back street and parked his truck. He turned off the engine and got out of his truck. Rexx locked his truck up and started walking to the clubs doors. The bouncer let him in like most of them did when they saw him. Rexx just gave him a smile and a wad of money because well the bouncer was so nice to let him in when he didn't have to. Rexx had walked up to the bar and got a drink. He started drinking it when his eyes became focused on a girl ahead of him. She was really gorgeous.
She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Rexx decided since she didn't look too occupied that he'd go up to her and talk to her. Like a small chit chat session maybe. If she would even wanna strike up a conversation with her in the first place. Rexx walked up to her and smiled at her a little as he tried to make eye contact with her. He surely didn't want to freak her out or make her uncomfortable. God, he hadn't been flirty with a girl in forever. What the hell was he going to do?! Rexx had no idea what he was suppose to do or say to this beautiful girl. "Hi, the name is Rexx. How are you tonight? You seem kind of bored out of your mind right now?"
He asked her as he looked into her eyes. He felt like he was under a spell or something. He didn't quite know what to do really. He felt like a nerd in a fountain of beautiful girls. He laughed a little to himself when he thought about it. This girl did look like she was bored being here. Her friends probably made her come out here. It seemed that way to him at least. She really didn’t understand what people found so fascinating about the club atmoshpere. Then again, she really didn’t understand what a lot of people her age did. It came with the territory, she guessed. After all, that’s what her mother used to tell her. May was extremely book smart, but she always had trouble when it came to people. She just didn’t understand why people acted the way they did. It made little sense to her. Take the two people that were to the right of her at the bar. One was a girl in six inch heels, a short skirt, and a little top that could barely conceal her boobs. Her hair was bleached blonde and her make up looked like it belonged on someone from a magazine. And just who was wasting his time with her? Well, a rather decent looking guy, she would have originally thought. Did that mean that her judge of character was terrible? Or maybe it just meant that guys were pigs and would go for anything that showed a bit of skin. Or perhaps a mixture of both? She felt seriously overdressed at the moment, despite the fact that she honestly wasn’t. There was no way in hell she’d ever dress like that girl, either. It was sort of a weird thing to watch. She would flick her hair over her shoulder, he would smile and try not to let his eyes drop to her boobs.
Wow, this was a rather boring and hormonal place. She didn’t even want to look at the dance floor, let alone try and be brought to it. She was not the dancing type. She had no coordination whatsoever. She was the girl that had burned down more than one kitchen, broken more bones than she could count, constantly got stuck places, and whatever other klutzy things you could imagine. So her in heels on the dance floor with a bunch of drunk idiots? Yeah, that wasn’t a very good idea. Drunk people scared her anyways. She never knew when they were just going to keel over and vomit on her shoes. That was rather disgusting, wasn’t it? Hmm. May’s thoughts drifted when one of her friends wandered over, half drunk attached to some guy’s arm. May sighed and looked at her friend; how sad she really appeared to be. She was probably too tipsy to realize that the guy looked like a total scumbag. May debated telling her, but then she figured that her friend would never learn. Besides, they did that all the time, you know, going out to clubs and stuff. It was May who didn’t really belong in here, so she didn’t know why they dragged her.
It must have been some sort of cruel and unusual torture. Try to kill yourself twice and suddenly people want to make sure you get out of the house more often. She didn’t understand why; she was a rather shy girl that kept to herself and functioned a lot better when that was the case. So she hadn’t a clue why she was being forced to interact. Human interaction was highly overrated in her opinion. Maybe she should have just left. Yes, that would make a lot more sense. She would be a hell of a lot more comfor-- Damn it all! Just when she was debating making her escape, someone just had to talk to her again. She was about to give whoever it was a dirty look and tell them that she did not want to sleep with them, thank you very much, before she realized that he didn’t seem like as much of a scumbag as some of the guys. She’d give him ten seconds before fleeing, and that was it. ”I’m fine, though I must say I think ‘kind of bored’ is a little bit of an understatement,” she said, smiling softly. She didn’t even know if he could see her properly. Lord knows know human eyes could see that well. But oh well, she had trouble meeting peoples’ gazes anyways. Her parents always did wonder if her lack of social ability stemmed from any autistic tendencies. But no, she doubted that. ”I’m May,” she said, finally forcing herself to look at him, if not for a minute. For a moment she swore she saw the same thing she saw when she looked into her past boyfriend’s, Danny the stupid ass vampire, eyes, but she got rid of the thought. Probably just the lighting. ”I kinda have to admit that this whole club thing isn’t exactly my scene,” she said. Is that what people called it? Their scene? Eh, oh well. • • •

The club scene wasn't his ideal choice because well he didn't care much for dealing with all the idiots that decided to get piss drunk and barf everywhere. Actually Rexx found drunks funny and he didn't mind seeing them act like total fools. Girls were always more skankish when they were drunk. Most of them tried touching his junk and everything but he kindly would push their hand away and walk away. Rexx wasn't one to take advantage of a girl. Hell, he couldn't even find a girlfriend. It was rather sad, really. He was good looking, had money and was a great guy at least he thought. Most girls just wanted a one night thing with him and he wasn't all for that either. He wanted something real with a girl. Not something that was gonna fade within a year of being in it. He didn't feel like wasting his time or feelings like that. He wasn't one for games either, so he kept far away from girls who liked playing head games. He sighed as he looked at this beautiful girl that he had his eyes on ever since he walked into the club. She was more than breath taking. More like angelic to him. Rexx just smiled to himself as he drank a little here and there of his beer. This girl was definitely grabbing his attention. The best part was that she wasn't even drunk well she didn't look like she was either. Plus, he could smell her blood and it didn't seem like she had a drink. But then again his senses might have been off thanks to him drinking. Ha, he wasn't suppose to be drinking but what the hell. Who cared? He sure didn't. He drank the rest of his beer and orded another one. Rexx drank that within seconds as he heard someone coming to him. He looked over in that direction and saw that this skanky girl was making her ways towards him. He grunted a little as he waited for her drunk self to hit on him. The girl introduced herself as Ivy and started saying how he was hot and how she wanted to go home with him. Fat chance in that, Ha. He laughed a little to himself. "Well, Ivy if I was a scumbag. I'd take you up on that offer but I'm a nice guy. I don't take drunk girls home and have my way with them. I find that trashy. I think you should go home yourself and go to bed."
And with that he walked away from Ivy. He wasn't that kind of guy to take advantage of some drunk girl. He realized that the girl wasn't dancing or anything. Maybe she wasn't one to dance and he could understand that. Plus, who wants a guy to grind their body up against you. Rexx wasn't that kind of dancer either. He knew how to dance like a gentleman. He was a complete gentleman all the time. It was how his parents taught him to be like. What girl wouldn't want a gentleman? Well, apparently mostly every damn girl in this town didn't want one. Well, at least a good girl. Someone who had standards and wasn't trashy. He didn't know how many times he'd get random girls coming to his mansion and knocking on his door. They'd make the excuse that they had to use his bathroom when in reality they just wanted a piece of him. He wasn't some kind of whore either. He didn't want any girls to use him like that. He saw too many girls be used like that. And it was just pathetic how far some girls would go to get some action. This girl didn't look too happy to him. He wondered why she felt so damaged to him. He could sense it. Rexx didn't know why such a beautiful girl would feel like she did. But then again he didn't know her life story. So, he couldn't really say anything. I mean look at his life. It went to shit in just minutes. Which totally sucked but that was life. Sometimes it was a dreadful bitch. "Well, I'm glad to hear your doing fine. Yeah, true. I get that this place isn't really that great to me either." Rexx smiled at her and realized that she was ready to flee this place. He had to chuckle to himself for a few minutes. She really didn't like clubs at all. "It's a pleasure to meet you, May." Rexx said to her with a kind smile. He listened to her say that the club wasn't her kind of thing. He was right, woot. "Yeah, I totally hear ya on that one. It's not really my thing either. I just came here to get a few beers and then head home." He really didn't know why he came out tonight. Oh, right it was to see if he could trust himself around humans. So far he was doing more than a great job at it too. "Well, if you need a ride home or something, I could give you one. I'm not hoping to get anything out of it nor would I try to make a move on you either. I'm not like most guys. I'm a gentleman." He said to May as he looked around. He saw a group of girls looking towards them. They must have been her friends. "So, I'm guessing those group of girls over there are your friends?" He said as he waved to them nicely. Ha, Rexx could be such a dork sometimes. Who the hell waved anymore, really? [/blockquote][/blockquote]

There were certain reasons that May had become accustomed to avoiding social places. When her parents died, it was like the world was crashing down on her. She would never see them again, unless she went to visit their tombstone. She always did. She brought flowers for her mother and father, and she went at least once a week. Often she went more, especially if she was feeling extra lonely or stressed or just all together sad. Whenever she spent more time away from visiting them and with people, the guilt ate away at her. So she went back to visit them. She refused to admit to herself that she’d never see them again. She knew she wouldn’t see them in this life, but she knew she’d see them in Heaven. She didn’t really believe all that much in religion, but she did believe there had to be something else out there in the world. How else would she ever be able to see them again? May talked to her parents. She’d have conversations with them at their gravesite, or sometimes she would talk to them at home. Somehow she knew they were watching over her; they always did in their life, so their afterlife would be no excuse. At least they died together. Neither one of them had to live through the pain of losing their true love. It was part of the reason May was afraid of going to social places. She had lost so many people in her life that she didn’t want to meet new people, only to lose them again. Especially when it came to boys. She was probably one of the most unlucky people when it came to guys and dating. Was she really that terrible of a person? People just kept abandoning her. She didn’t understand it. She’d been told she was pretty, she had no obvious disfigurations or non-obvious ones for that matter, she knew she was intelligent, she wasn’t mean or catty, she was rich- not that she ever told people.
So why was it that she had such a hard time with guys? Did they just not like her? Perhaps she was wrong in her assumption of what guys wanted. Maybe she just wasn’t the right sort of person for anyone. It was best when she just stayed at home. None of the old ladies that she and her parents knew could ask her how she was coping, God knows they still did, no one could look at her with pitying eyes. How she hated those eyes. It was bad enough that she lost her parents, but it was worse when the looks people gave you reminded you of it every second. The club was probably one of the worst places she could go to to avoid people. The mall and school was a close second. While May was debating these things in her head, there was some stuff going on beside her. Being in a place like this was not good for someone who had a strong displeasure against germs. They just freaked her out and these sorts of places were not the cleanest. Why would her friends drag her here? Ugh, she didn’t know, but that girl that was talking to the guy just seemed like she would be crawling with germs. It freaked her the hell out. Oh, now this was an odd action of human behaviour. In normal society, weren’t men generally happy when women wanted to get into their pants? She thought so, but maybe she had been interpreting things wrong. Regardless, she did not find his avoidance to her at all appealing. He was probably gay then. Either that or he really wanted to get into her pants and was trying to do so by pretending to be a gentleman. No thank you. May was not impressed nor did she even care what he did in his free time. It wasn’t like she was ever going to see him again, nor did she want to. She didn’t like people, and that fact was beginning to become more apparent as she was forced to be outside of her house.
May hated this place, she hated her friends for taking her here, and she hated that this guy was talking to her. Now she almost wished she was drinking more than ginger ale. At least then she wouldn’t have to remember everything. But then again there was that whole aversion to alcohol thing that May had going on, and she was definitely the type that was going to be sticking to her morals. ”Then why are you here?” she responded. Unfortunately May lacked the social skills that most people had. She was often confused by human behaviour and would question it upfront. She really was a sweet girl; she just didn’t know any better. Ew now he was smiling at her. Creeper. May looked down at her drink and just wished for this night to be over after the next time she blinked. ”Aren’t bars better suited for that?” she asked obviously. Sports bars seemed like a much better place for a guy that claimed he wanted to just have a couple of beers and relax. There was no annoying techno music, there was actually food, and there was often sports playing on television. Wasn’t that the sort of thing guys liked? Ugh, they were so confusing. Of course, this could have just been part of his act to try to impress her. May looked up at him with what he said next. He had to be crazy. ”Yeah, they’re my friends,” she said simply, then grabbed her purse. ”Look, I really got to go and there’s no way in Hell I’m letting a stranger drive me home,” she said. That was bad news. Honestly who said that to a girl? If anything, it made them think the guy was the complete opposite of a nice guy. Creeper to the max. ”Bye,” she said and made a bee line for the door. She was looking for her car keys as she walked down the street but when she looked up her heart almost stopped. In front of her were two guys that were looking at her like she was a piece of meat or something. Oh. Shit.m a n what am i wearing? am i nude? am i crazy? what’s in my head? how many words? 1064 who’s my reader? rexx who made this template? @ CLARKY ! DON'T FREAKING STEAL ![/blockquote][/blockquote]

Rexx was getting tired of the whole bar scene crap. He couldn't get his head around why on earth so many people wasted their lives and their money on booze. Sure, sometimes it helped but most of the time it just made things more unbearable to deal with. At least to him it did. He really hardly ever did drink when he was a human. He didn't see the sense in it at all. Now, he really didn't see any sense in it because well he was like the undead. Just didn't look like a zombie nor did he tear peoples bodies apart for food. It was a good thing too because who'd want to be a damn zombie? His life was already empty without having anyone. All he had to remind him of his family was pictures and memories. Girls didn't seem to care to know a lot about him either. All they cared about was his money or if they could get bites from him. Which really was sick in his opinion. Since when was getting bitten hot or a turn on? Rexx didn't know why so many people wanted to be bite. Sure you got a rush and it excited you but that was about it. But Rexx never bite any of the girls that wanted it. Because it was just something weird and he didn't wanna do that to anyone. He just wanted his life to be sorted out. To be normal again but that wasn't going to come around any time soon, sadly. He sighed lightly to himself as he thought about that terrible night. The night that had changed him forever. He was a rather prick as one would say when he was human. Most days he was a terrible person but that was only because his life was revolved around money. Now, he didn't even go to work nor cared to. Even though his family had a company, he had someone promoted as the leader of it besides doing the work himself. Because he had no passion for it anymore. It was like a pile of dust to him now. Rexx got some money here and there from the company doing well and then some for doing some odd jobs here and there as well. So, he wasn't lazy either.
His mansion was his cave. Like he was a bat or something? Ha, that was a funny way to think about it. It was mostly always dark and cool. Why should he let some sun in and let the heat wrap around him, he was a vampire after all. Sure, he was suppose to drink peoples blood and maybe he did. Well, people who deserved to get the blood drained out of them. Like bad people who just erked him. There was quite a few of those people here too. As well in the other countries he had traveled to from years on. Rexx couldn't understand why someone would kill an innocent human being. Which was why if he had in fact married a human being. He'd never let her convince him to change her. Well, unless it was something she wanted to do. It was painful being changed into this kind of monster. It surely wasn't like a bed of roses as some vampires made it out to be. Girls, were never something easy for him to obtain. Usually he'd have to show a girl he liked his money and then she'd instantly fall for him. For his money really. It just ticked him more off. Since when did every damn girl become a gold digger? Did he lose track of time, apparently he had. Because money wasn't everything and sure you could get anything you'd want with it but it didn't really make him all that happy. Finding that one girl would make him that happy though. He just wanted the one thing that was the hardest to get for anyone really. Finding your true love was the hardest thing on earth. That was more than clear to him. But once you have it, you'd know. That was the only thing that would make him feel alive again. Being in love, utterly and completely deeply in love. Yeah, it sounded amazing to him. But love wasn't something easy.
Why had he come all the way here for nothing at all. Rexx was feeling like a complete idiot. Like he was going to find his true love in a bar. Come on, who was he kidding, seriously? Rexx took another beer and paid for his beers as May asked why he was here. "Honestly, I have no idea why I'm here."
He had almost laughed when she had suggested that bars were probably more suited for just drinking some beers and relaxing. Sure, they were but what fun was it to stick with other guys that are getting trashed? It wasn't really that much fun, honestly. Had she ever been to a bar before? Rexx didn't think May had. "True, they are but they aren't that fun to be in. Take it from me." He replied. He wasn't so sure about this girl. It was like she was a question mark to him. Because he was getting that she thought he was some kind of creep or something. Of course anyone would think that if someone that has been drinking was hitting on you while you wanted to be left alone. He could understand that. So, maybe May wasn't the one for him? But if she was he didn't want to let that chance go so quickly either. "Okay, okay. I was just offering. Bye." Yup, he had creeped her out. Way to go Rexx. He wanted to hit himself over the head, seriously. Why did he say that.? He could be so thick headed sometimes. No wonder why she wanted to get as far away from him as she could. He didn't blame her one bit. She walked away and walked out of the club. Rexx was ready to leave as well. Probably go home and watch some movies or sports. He didn't really want to but there wasn't anything else he could do. He finished his last beer and said goodnight to the bartender. Rexx started walking to his car as he saw May trying to get into her car. But then two guys came out of nowhere and they looked like they were going to take advantage of her. Well, not on his frickin watch, they weren't. Rexx walked quietly up to the two guys and asked them to leave. They didn't and started walking closer to May. That was all he needed. He grabbed one of the guys and knocked him out and then the other guy ran from them. "There now you can safely go home May. Hope you have a good night." Rexx said as he started to walk away from her and her car. He didn't wanna freak her out anymore than he had tonight. [/blockquote]

MAY ANNA NOTTESTONES TAUGHT ME TO FLYLOVE TAUGHT ME TO LIELIFE TAUGHT ME TO DIE
There were certain reasons that May detested going to bars and clubs. There was the main one, the alcohol factor. After having both of your parents so horribly taken from you at the hands of alcohol, it’s enough to turn you off of the that stuff forever. She couldn’t stand the smell of it, she couldn’t stand seeing it, she couldn’t stand the stupid people that knocked it back like water and acted like no harm could come to them. They themselves might be fine, but other innocent, sober people could be horribly harmed or killed by it. It just wasn’t fair. The nicest people had to be taken from the world while the person that was irresponsible got to live. She hated the cruelty of it. She didn’t know what to think anymore. It was hard when the media bombarded you with all these thoughts about how alcohol was fun and magical and made all of your problems go away. They seemed to leave out all the damage it could do. They seemed to leave out how it killed people on a daily basis and destroyed peoples’ organs upon consumption. The worst part? Well, the worst part was that people believed what the companies had to say about it. They drank and drank and drank until their problems went away, even if they had only gone away for that evening. They drank until they weren’t themselves anymore, until they couldn’t even say their name. That struck a cord in May. It meant they hated who they were and it meant that they were desperate to be someone else. Even more so, they’d deny, deny, deny. They’d say they do it for fun, to be social, to be flirty. But they will never admit that they drink to become someone else. The funny part was, usually the person they become is sloppy, unbalanced, and full of vomit. How you could hate yourself that much to want to become that sort of mess was beyond May’s comprehension. She really would never understand it.
Another thing she hated about alcohol was the smell it left on peoples’ breath. Nothing was worse than when a guy hit on you and he smelled like cigarettes, alcohol, pot, or a combination of those things. It was disgusting and made May want to vomit on their shoes. They thought they were so incredibly sexy, like they were the hottest thing to ever grace her presence, when really the sight and smell of them made her want to rip her nose off. It was rather pathetic, actually, on the guy’s behalf to keep trying so hard with her. She was too socially awkward to go home with them, she was too opposed to alcohol, she was still a virgin, and she sure as hell wasn’t going to give that up to some random person that wanted to get into her pants. She kind of missed high school in this instance, though really only in this instance. In high school she was oblivious to everyone except Danny. She just didn’t exist for them. She was basically invisible for lack of a better way to put it, and it was nice not to have people hitting on you. But once she was out in the real world where people didn’t know her as the awkward Italian speaking new kid, things were different. It was frustrating for her because she just wanted to be left alone, yet there was something in people that drove them to bug her. She wanted to smack them, but she had learned that was against society’s general codes and conventions. That kind of sucked, because sometimes you just needed to go up and deck someone right in the face. “Doesn’t look like you’re having much fun here,”
she pointed out. His statements were redundant and she hoped that he was seeing how foolish his explanations were beginning to become. Though she did have to admit that bars weren’t fun either. But bars had sports to watch usually, not that she was a big sports fan, but it was something to pass the time with. Here you just dry humped people in a form of tribal dancing and drank until you couldn’t walk straight. Well, other people did that. May never did that. Another thing she didn’t like about bar/club guys: they were far too pushy. They just assumed that every girl would do as they pleased. Even now, this boy who apparently didn’t even want to be there tried to get her to go into a car with him. Did he really think that she was dumb enough to do that? Even if he wasn’t some psycho, it still wasn’t safe. Any girl that valued her safety wouldn’t have agreed. Plus those eyes were too unsettling. She knew it was dark but they still reminded her of Danny’s and look what he turned out to be. She just had to leave. That was the best solution for her. Leave, get the hell out, and snuggle up under her covers in the safety of her big, empty house. Maybe she needed to get a dog. Her goldfish wasn’t a very good guard, even though she did love Goldie. Crap, she definitely needed a killer ass guard dog right now. May was frozen like a dear in the headlights. She couldn’t run, her shoes were too high, and she couldn’t fight back, she was too weak. She could scream if only she could find her vocal chords. She was startled when the Rexx boy brushed right past her and over to the two guys. What the hell did he think he was doing? Two against one didn’t usually work out for the one. Before she knew it, one of the guys was on the ground and the other was running. What just happened? May blinked and tried to think straight, but the fear that had come from the looks they had given her was clouding her judgement and her memory. “Uhm…” she said, blinking, not sure what she was supposed to do now. “You can’t drive,” she said, her fear of drunk drivers pushing past her fear of the two guys that might have attacked her. “You’ve been drinking,” she stated, having watch him done two or three beers since they were beside each other, and she didn’t know how much else he had been drinking before that. Even that little alcohol could cloud someone’s judgement and she didn’t want any more innocent people killed because someone decided to be an idiot. “Call a cab or something,” she said nervously. She didn’t know what to say. Who could blame her after something like that? She sucked at giving thanks to people because she was always so awkward for it, so her way of saying thanks was making sure he didn’t go get himself killed because he was dumb enough to drink and drive. any clothes? am i nude? am I crazy? what’s in my head? any words? 1157 reading this? rexx <3 template maker? @ CLARKY ! Rexx just couldn't get his mind wrapped around this girl. It was like she didn't want anything to do with anyone. Like she was a loner like himself. He could totally understand that though. Rexx had always been alone even when he had a family. He didn't care much for the club nor bar scene but he had to get out of the house. So, the club was the first thing that had popped into his mind. Even if it wasn't the greatest place to hangout with. Sure, he drank but he wasn't a drunk or alcoholic. Rexx never got drunk and that was that. His parents were both drinkers. Even evening they knock a few back and dozed off. They were never stupid and drove while being intoxicated. Thankfully Rexx didn't have to deal with that issue. His parents didn't have one of those happy marriages. His father had many affairs and his mother acted like nothing ever happened. Rexx could remember seeing his father and his mistresses out in public sometimes. His father would always come up with some stupid excuse or said the other woman was a friend. But Rexx was far from stupid. He didn't get why people cheated or were liars. It never solved anything nor made anything better. That was a fact and he had seen it in front of his two eyes how it could ruin a perfect marriage. His parents didn't get divorced but nor did they sleep in the same room. He didn't want that kind of marriage. Rexx wanted the kind of marriage to where it'd last til they were in their hundreds even though he was a vampire. So, if his wife didn't want to be changed then he'd have to live on without her or kill himself when she died as well.
Nothing could have prepared him for what he had become. Rexx had thought about that dreadful night after night. It was his nightmare and he wished it had never happened. He just wanted to be human again. Rexx didn't get the kind of cults that pretended to be vampires. What was so great? Honestly? He'd like to know what was great about being like the undead. He couldn't wrap his head around it or people like that. He'd like to go back in time and prevent himself being turned into this beast. That was what he thought of himself. A beast. Some girls liked it and some girls didn't. Love wasn't something easy to find when you were a vampire. This girl seemed like she hated this place. Why on earth would she come here if she didn't like it. Given Rexx didn't care much for clubs either but he had nothing better to do. She probably thought he was like the rest of the drunk guys in this joint. Which wasn't true. He had respect for girls and he wasn't another guy trying to get into someones pants. He didn't need sex and in fact a lot of girls had used him just for that. Rexx didn't get why sex was so important. It wasn't to him nor would it ever be. Sure, he was a man whore when he was younger but that was his past. He had gotten over it and moved on. The past always found a way to bite you in the ass though in the present. "Eh, I only come here to not be alone. I don't really come here to get drunk nor get into some girls pants. Not my thing really. Just here to feel somewhat alive, I suppose."
He replied back to her comment. That was life though. It came up and bit you right on the butt sometimes and most of the time you weren't even expecting it. This girl acted like everyone that was in the club just wanted to drink themselves silly and get into everyone's pants. Boy, this girl was one negative chick. Some people just liked to dance, mingle and just make new friends. Not everyone that came to clubs wanted to get shit faced and bang one another. Rexx knew that but this girl seemed to have a huge grudge against something or someone. He wondered what she was mad about. Too bad he wasn't a mind reader or something. It'd help him out a lot right about now. Rexx didn't know why she was acting like he was going to kill her or something. When all he wanted to do was kindly bring her home. But he could see where she was coming from. She hardly knew him and well people got murdered all the time. Even though he wasn't a that nor could he kill someone. Okay, that was a lie because he did kill people. Just people that didn't deserve to live. But that wasn't something he was going to tell her. May was already freaked out about him. Great, this girl was already afraid of him. Well, it looked like he wasn't going to ever find that someone. This girl was a puzzle to Rexx. He didn't know if he would ever be able to figure her out either. He hoped he would sooner than later but who knew? He sure as hell didn't know. When he had looked at her she looked like she didn't know what just happened. Which was reasonable because well it did all happen fast. "True, I've been drinking. I guess I'll just walk home because I could do some walking. Are you going to be alright? I'm more worried about your safety than my own, May." He asked as he started walking away. He didn't want to waste anymore of her time. He got the picture, she didn't want to be around him. Rexx knew that all too well. "Have a goodnight May, be safe." Rexx said to her as he started walking some more down the street. He didn't need a ride because well he didn't live too far from here. Rexx was a vampire too. So, as soon as she was gone he'd run as fast as he could home or just go back to his vehicle and drive home. What she didn't know wouldn't hurt her. [/blockquote]

MAY ANNA NOTTESTONES TAUGHT ME TO FLYLOVE TAUGHT ME TO LIELIFE TAUGHT ME TO DIE
May wasn’t some sort of moody bitch and she was wondering if this boy was getting that impression from her. Maybe he was. He seemed like the type that was used to having girls fall at his feet, as previously exhibited by the way he acted with the other girl at the bar. Frankly she didn’t even know how she was supposed to act in a bar. Or a club, whatever. She just wasn’t one of those people. The only reason she was out tonight was because her friends, well, acquaintances, decided that she needed to get out into the ‘real world’ more often. May preferred to beg to differ and decided that she had had enough of the real world in the past and she didn’t like it all that much. You know what the real world had? Death and vampires and werewolves and germs. The real world took her parents away. The real world gave her a vampire for a boyfriend that ended up leaving her only months after her parents were killed. She’d never forget that piercing red of his eyes that she had seen that night. He explained everything. The contacts, the staying home on sunny days, the ‘camping’ trips; and then he was gone. Because of that she had a hard time looking people in the eye. She didn’t want to look up and see his eyes looking back at her. Not only would she fear for her own life, but she’d probably be terrified of her own emotions. This boy, this Rexx man, probably thought she was weird or thought that she thought he was a complete freak; why else wouldn’t she look him in the eye? But you know what? She was used to that by now. She was used to people thinking she was anti-social. She was used to people thinking she was a stuck up bitch who thought she was better than everyone else. She was used to it. She didn’t like it of course, but she was used to it. People were going to judge no matter what.
There was nothing in her power she could do to stop it. And you know what else? That was their loss. For the people- those rare, few people- that got to know her, there was actually an extremely sweet, kind, caring, intelligent, sometimes too blunt, girl that wouldn’t even harm a fly. But if people were rude and unintelligent enough to make a quick judgement about her just because of how she acted when she was nervous, then it was their loss. There was that whole ‘never judge a book by its cover’ thing, but she had gone through that her whole life. She was used to it and didn’t really understand where the saying came from considering it really seemed to apply to what people did to her. May watched the boy from the corner of her with a certain level of curiosity. She wasn’t blind; he was attractive. Most boys that were attractive had an ego and would gladly use their looks to their advantage. Why was he different? Then again, Danny hadn’t used his inhumanly good looks to his advantage…much. “So why not go to the movies?”
she asked, not trying to be rude or anything; she was just trying to figure out this boy’s thought process and see if it in any way related to hers. Of course, it might help if she actually knew what her thought process in this situation was, but that was completely besides the point. May’s mouth twitched a smile slightly but she quickly hid it by taking a sip of her ginger ale. “I guess it’s better than jumping off a bridge,” she said with a shrug of her slender shoulders. Though maybe…naw, she knew that going cliff diving would just end badly. Bridge diving? Yeah, that would probably end badly too. “You might want to tell the girls before hand next time. Save them the disappointment,” she said without any real emotion in her voice. Not monotone, but somewhat…flat. She hated when girls would throw themselves all over a guy. If they were really that hormonal, they could put their hand in their own pants and finish things off. They didn’t need a stranger whose thing could have been in God knows who. May had been through a lot of things but being nearly attacked, raped, or possibly even murdered by two strangers was not something she had ever planned to encounter in her life. Her heart was racing in her chest and for a moment she almost forgot to breathe. She was thankful that breathing was usually a natural thing and that she remembered to do it before she turned blue. Oh, well then, now she was just at a loss of what to do, wasn’t she? She could get back into the car and have a freak out and be afraid to be alone in her house, or she could take up his offer of making sure she got home safely, despite the fact that he very well could have been on the same page as the other two guys. She just didn’t know. She was confused and scared and frankly a little too inexperienced with club guys. “Walk home at this time of night?” she asked with a curious raised eyebrow. He was a man but that didn’t mean he was immune to getting hurt. What if those two guys came back and double teamed him? It was different in front of a club where someone would easily come out and see them, but out in the dark of the night? Shit happened, man. “Wait,” she said hesitantly as he turned. “I mean,” she muttered and dropped her eyes to the ground. She didn’t even know what the hell she was saying anymore. “I, uhh, I could give you a ride to your place, just in case they decide to come back,” she offered despite herself. Really it was more so because she was scared of those guys, but she’d just pretend that it was so that he didn’t get beaten and mugged in the street.[/blockquote] any clothes? am i nude? am I crazy? what’s in my head? any words? 1032 reading this? rexx <3 template maker? @ CLARKY ! Girls, they were such a hard topic to understand. If there was a subject on girls in school, Rexx would have failed. You never knew what they were thinking or what they were going to do. He was utterly clueless when it came to them. The only woman he had ever understood was his mother. God, he missed her so much. If Rexx would have known that she had gotten bitten , he would have saved her, somehow. He never wanted to be this monster. But he had to live with this, this curse he liked to think it was just that. Because who would want to be in line for something like this. Who in their right mind would want to be some blood hungry monster from the dark? Sure, there was people who were in love with vampires and etc. He could see their point in wanting to change in order to be with their partner for the rest of their lives. But that was entirely different. That was what you did for someone that you loved and wanted to be with forever. Rexx had never had much luck with women. He didn't really know why he did but he didn't take much thought into it either. Some girls were easy to get and some weren't. He had always gotten the ones that were so confusing to him. Most girls liked him being a vampire just because they either wanted to be one or they just liked getting their blood taken. Rexx had never took blood from a girl in his whole life. Especially a girlfriend. That'd be just disgusting to him. Not because of her blood but because he couldn't do that to someone he cared for. It was a rule of his and most male vampires didn't have that rule of course. But he wasn't like most guys or vampires. He was different and maybe that was why he didn't have much luck with women nor love. He had never been in love before so that was what he was searching for right now.
He just wished that girls would give him a shot. Sure, sometimes he did come off on the wrong foot. But what guy didn't sometimes? He just wanted a break once in his damn existence. This May girl seemed rather puzzlingly to him. She was probably getting the whole creeper vibe off of him. Ugh, he was terrible at talking with girls, period. The only ones he had been with before were from blind dates or friends that would try to hook him up. He hated blind dates, they were so un tasteful to him. Rexx just wanted a good girl and there wasn't a hand full here in Forks. So, May could have been the last one and he didn't want to lose his chance with her. So, maybe he'd stop talking like a bloody idiot or creeper. Cause he wasn't a creeper and he was far from it. His mother never had the chance to really talk to him about girls nor the birds and bees. And his father wasn't ever around. He still wasn't after Rexx's mother had died. He hated his father and really never wanted to see him again, ever. "Well, I don't really like going to the movies, alone." He said with a smile but not a creepy smile. Rexx was trying and that was the best he could do. He laughed at her next comment. This girl was funny in a witty way. "Yeah, I think it is.
He wasn't one to jump off bridges. Even though he wouldn't die because well he was a vampire and had skills. Yeah, he didn't want to cut himself or break bones and wait til they healed. That sucked when it did happen though. It took a while to heal. "Oh, I do most nights when I do come. I either tell them or walk away. I'm not another scumbag looking for a one night stand." He felt like she was judging him or trying to sum him up. She was good, he had to give her that. Rexx was never one for one night stands. He had only been with two girls his whole life and he was dating them. So, it wasn't like some sleazy thing. Rexx wasn't about to tell May that he was a vampire at this moment. Maybe if they were going to become something, then he would tell her. He didn't even know if she knew about vampires or werewolves here. Hopefully she did or there was a lot she was missing out on. He could tell she was scared shitless and didn't know quite what to do. She probably didn't want to go home alone but he wasn't going to ask if she wanted him to come along. Because he'd look more like a creeper towards her like when he first mentioned bringing her home. Nope, he wasn't going to put himself up for that punishment. He wondered what she was going to do because she seemed lost still. Like she had been frozen right there. It was probably because he had come out of the blue and had just took care of those two guys who were in fact going to harm her. Not on his watch, no girl was going to get killed or hurt in any other way. "Yeah, why not? I've done it before." He was surprised that she seemed to care now. May was probably more than thankful for having him take care of those two creeps for her. But then again maybe she could have dealt with them on her own. A lot of girls seemed to be very well trained in fighting men off. He didn't know her that well to know that though. "If your comfortable with that May, I don't wanna freak you out or anything. I'm sure I could take care of them if they decided to come back for more." Rexx didn't mean to sound full of himself. But he was a vampire and he could take care of himself. But it was nice that she seemed to care about his well being. [/blockquote]

MAY ANNA NOTTESTONES TAUGHT ME TO FLYLOVE TAUGHT ME TO LIELIFE TAUGHT ME TO DIE
If one were to ask May what the hell was going on in her head at the current moment in time they probably weren’t going to get a very good answer. In all honesty, she didn’t understand what she was thinking. She was at a bar when she hated drinking and wasn’t even legally allowed to drink. She was at a place where guys could hit on her and she hated being hit on. She was at a place where most people came to socialize and she hated socializing. She was talking to a guy when she hated talking to people in general. She was really messed up in the head, wasn’t she? It wasn’t exactly her fault. After all, she had a somewhat messed up life. She was excluded in school and bullied just because she couldn’t speak English- ethnocentric bastards. She was much more intelligent than most people she talked to and sometimes that annoyed people, even if she didn’t try to flaunt it in their faces. She was pretty- even though she didn’t think so- and other girls hated her for it. And then, oh yeah, her parents were killed by a drunk driver. That tended to leave negative emotional effects on a child. She was left alone in a huge house with no family in town because they were all back in Italy. She graduated high school early and didn’t want to go to university. She even turned down the scholarship she was offered because her heart just wasn’t in it anymore. Oh yeah, there was the whole thing about her ex-boyfriend being a vampire and not telling her until he almost died and she offered to save him and then he left because he didn’t want to kill her or make her what he was. Not that she wanted to be a vampire. She hadn’t known the mechanics of it at the time. Regardless, that compiled along with her suicide attempts made this girl’s life extremely pathetic.
Now it almost seemed like she didn’t do anything to make herself happy. She really didn’t. The closest thing she did to make herself happy was when she did her nails and even that didn’t make her completely happy because she could never paint her right hand properly because she was right handed. She always ended up taking off the nail polish and going to get a manicure and pedicure from a salon. May sighed to herself and wanted to just go home and never leave. Honestly if she lived her life pathetically like that for however long she was going to last she was going to be happy with that. May nodded her head and could agree with that. “I guess that does kind of suck a little bit,”
she said, though she had done it. It wasn’t her fault that Pixar just had to go make movies after her parents died and she was left alone with no one to go with. Same with Johnny Depp. If there was a Johnny Depp movie out she didn’t care how sad, lonely, and pathetic she was, she was going to go to that movie anyways. Now she just wanted to jump off a bridge to see if it was fun or not. Was that a bad thing to think? Probably, but she wasn’t going to stop herself from thinking it and there was no one around to offer her any other suggestions of what to do. May shook her head to herself and couldn’t help but laugh softly. This man certainly was weird. Most guys would love the type of attention he seemed to get. She was confused as to why he would come out to just turn down girls night after night. “Must be so hard living the beautiful life,” she said sarcastically, though not in a rude way. The man obviously wasn’t an idiot and judging by the way that girls apparently reacted to him it meant he was attractive. Meanwhile May was almost too terrified to look at people she didn’t know so her judgement was shot. May didn’t know what she was supposed to say or what she was supposed to think. She hadn’t wanted to original talk to this Rexx person but now she was almost afraid to be alone. For her it was a lose lose situation. She could go home alone and risk being caught up by those guys again or risk being freaked out at night in her big empty house. Or, she could offer to drive this guy home and have him end up being some creeper in the end. She didn’t know which was the better option. She supposed one creeper was better than two creepers though. “Well that’s not very intelligent,” she stated flatly. It didn’t really matter if you were a girl or a guy in her mind. She just thought it wasn’t safe to walk home, especially in a place where apparently people would get attacked. You know, somehow that just didn’t sit right with May. And what if this guy got attacked when she left? She would forever have it on her conscience if he got attacked after saving her from those two guys and she could have prevented him from getting hurt, or worse. May didn’t believe him and shook her head, fighting her basics instincts of getting the hell away from everyone. She was probably just uncomfortable about being around at all. She was almost like a feral child, unfortunately. At least she was far more developed. “No, it’s fine,” she decided and walked closer to the car. “Watch the door on the curb,” she said. If he scratched her car she was going to scratch his eyes out. She sat down in the driver’s seat of her car and paused for a moment just to breathe. She wasn’t quite sure what was going on right now and she wasn’t quite sure if she was doing the right thing. “Where do you live?” she asked. May stuck the key in the ignition and started the engine. She was so shaken that she almost invited him to her house for coffee or something just because she was so scared to be alone. But she couldn’t do that. That wasn’t smart.[/blockquote] any clothes? am i nude? am I crazy? what’s in my head? any words? 1048 reading this? rexx <3 template maker? @ CLARKY !
