Character History: Madison Grace Johnson was born in a small town out on the outskirts of Montgomery Alabama. There she and her younger brother were raised by their hard-working mother and father Emma-Kate and Jimmie Johnson. Although they didn't have much growing up, they found their ways to get by. The four of them had all made their home in a small 4 bedroom farmhouse, surrounded with nothing but cotton fields, and corn fields. Jimmie had worked hard weeksconstructing and building homes. Emma-Kate on the other hand, was a stay at home mother caring and tending to both her and Jimmie's two children.
Throughout Madison's childhood years she was nothing but a straight A student. She was always attached to her mothers hip, helping around the house and taking care of the animals. But as soon as the teenage years came in, Madison began to drift away little by little. Attending Field parties, and sneaking out late at night with boys. Of course her father began to catch on to it, and caught her one night sneaking out with the neighborhood boy, Scott Thomas. Grounding didn't even stop her. Her rebellious stage grew worse at the age of 16, and their was really nothing they could do about it.
A couple years later, after everything that had been going on with Madison, Her father Jimmie was offered a construction job up north in Washington. After telling the family, they were all more than excited, Except for Madison. But obviously, she had no choice nor a say in anything. She was devastated that she had to even leave Scott, but it had to be done. After packing everything up they all headed out in a big U-Haul to Forks Washington. There they had found another house, somewhat like their own in the backwoods of the country. Madison didn't like it as much as back home in Alabama, but she knew she had to manage.

Personality: Although Madison can come across as a hard-up kind of girl, she really isn't. Deep down she is very, very much warm hearted and friendly. In her mind she believes she has had a hard life growing up even though she hasn't. Madison speaks her mind when most needed and isn't afraid to stand up for what she thinks is right. Her down-home country spirit is what gets her in trouble most of the time. What she mostly enjoys is just being with her friends and getting away from her parents. She isn't one to be the center of attention like her younger brother.
Her soothing southern drawl and beauty is possibly two of her best assets. There are times her mother gets very frustrated with her, because ever since she was a little girl she had always seemed to be a little tomboy like. Overtime she would turn sarong Madison was always out with the boys doing everything they had done. But what made Emma-Kate happy is that Madison keeps her head on her shoulders. Not always going to every boy that calls her name. Family is also what keeps her going. If it weren't for her father straightening her out, who knows what she would be doing.

Madison grabbed her purse from beneath her bed, tossing it quickly over her shoulder. Constantly looking back to her bedroom door, she gently un-hooked the windows pulling them up slowly and slipping herself out as silently as possible. The last thing she had needed was for her father to come home early and find out she was leaving at 1:00 in the morning. Madison hurried from her window to the ladder that leaned up against the house. There in the driveway, in a beat up chevy truck, sat Scott Thomas and a few of his friends. Obviously, deep down she was begriming to fall for the boy.
Jumping from the last step, she ran over to the truck tossing her purse inside. A younger boy with blonde hair turned to Madison and smiled, placing her purse under the seat, "You know Miss. Johnson," he begun, leaning over to the drivers side, "I'm pretty sure your father isn't going to appreciate you running out all of the time to see this boy." Looking to Scott, he roughly hit him upon his shoulder. Instantly, he reacted back and began to laugh making his way out of the truck to let her in. Madison just shook her head and climbed in, "I just reckon your Jealous Thomas Wells. Since you aint got a girl and all." She watched as the expression on his face dropped. Scott just grabbed her hand and began to drive off. Madisons heart began to flutter. The brown haired, blue eyed boy that was now holding onto her hand, was beginning to drive her crazy.
Before they made it out of the long dark driveway. Headlights turned down the road. Madison's heart dropped as she watched her father climbing out of his truck. Everyone in the vehicle began to panic. "Here comes ol' Jimmie!" One boy yelled as he pointed to the figure walking their way. Madison climbed over Thomas' lap and hurried out the passenger window. Before her feet could all the way meet the ground, she felt a two hands grab her waist. Turning her head, she seen her father glaring in her direction and the boys direction. "D-daddy." She stuttered, "What are you doing home so early?"
"Home! Now Madison." Jimmie muttered, pointing back to the house. His face, as red as it could get.
"Evening' Mr. Johnson." One of the boys spoke, tipping their john Deere hat. Jimmie shrugged them off and pointed to the long dark road headed to town. "You best get on home now, before i have the wife call each and everyone of your parents." Without any hesitation the boys took off, ripping and tearing out of the gravel road. Madison glared at her father, her eyes halfway filled with tears. "You always ruin EVERYTHING!" Shaking her head she headed back down the road. "I'm 18 dad, I can't be your little girl forever." Jimmie let out a loud sigh as he jumped back into his truck. Pulling up along side her,she persuaded her to get in. After a a few seconds, she had crawled in. "I want you to know, that we are no longer staying in Montgomery Madison."
"What do you mean?" She asked, her heart skipping beats.
Jimmie placed his hand on his daughters and smiled. "I got offered a job up North in Washington. I plan on taking it and moving all of us up there. It's bigger and better pay than what I am making here." Madison was at a loss of words. She wasn't ready to leave Alabama. It was her home.
