i want to be the one to walk in the sun Alexandra sat down eating. Her brother had asked her to stay with him until their parents came back from Greece. They had been away for about a week, and mom had taken Rosalie with her... so it was just them two. Well, them and the house staff. Anyways, it looked like a pretty good day... and her parents would be back by three latest, so she would still be able to go the mall and get some last minute things she needed.
Ale smiled as she looked at her brother. He was fifteen and had just told her about a crush he had on a girl. He was so sweet, asking her about advice. He even wanted to buy the girl a couple of roses... but he was going to wait until her turned 16 next month so that he could surprise her in the cool car dad was going to get for him. Love was so unique and intense at that age. You would do anything for the person you loved. It was a shame that all these priorities changed as you got older.
When they had finished, Ale got up and told María to please do the dishes. She was going to start getting ready. Eric would be okay on his own. He was just growing up so fast it was amazing. As she walked into her room Ale grabbed her cell and marked Liam's number. She tapped her fingers and waited to leave a message, he clearly wasnt going to answer. "Liam. I'm going to Port Angeles this afternoon. I need to tell you some stuff. If you don't call me back, I'll think you're going. Meet me at the food court at four o'clock sharp. I have news. Love ya!" she smiled as she hung up. Even though they always talked, it seemed centuries since she had last seen her best friend.
Usually people always say that best friends always end up hooking up. But Ale had been friends with Liam since she got here and she never saw him as anything else. Today she was going to tell him everything that had happened when she was little. She had told him a couple of months ago that there was something she'd never told anyone, and that she would tell him about it when she was ready. Well, today, she was ready. And a walk in thet mall would be the best place to do so, with all the shops there to distract her once she had finished spilling the beans.
Ale had also considered telling him about Christos. But it wasn't really that important. Maybe someday, if it actually ever turned into something she would tell Liam. But not today, at least not for now.
Ale got ready, deciding to let her hair loose and wear little make up... as usual. Since she could never look under dressed, she looked absolutely perfect wearing a high-waist red skirt and a flower-printed blouse.
Ale got into her car, turning on the radio and smiling as she listened to a caller complaining about her boss. What did they have in them for everyone to always hate them? She laughed. Thank God her parents could afford her education. She didn't know what she would do if she had to get her degree and work at the same time. Her life already seemed so busy with things to do it seemed impossible to find time for herself. Who knew what she was going to do with herself when she was older and had to take care of her family and work? Ale shook her head, she was eighteen. Those problems were still far off. She'd have to be able to maintain a boyfriend first.
Ale parked and made her way quickly to the food court. It was early, but she wanted to get a cup of coffee at the Starbucks before Liam got there. He hadn't called... so, unless he hadn't seen the message, he should be there in a while.

in the party, love, some man’s playing hallelujah
<< liam i g g y wyatt >>in the corner, love, all night girls drink wine<< I MADE A MESS OF THINGS, THE STOPS & IN BETWEENS, THEY WEIGH ME DOWN >> Liam groaned and heard something ringing. Was this part of his dream? God he hoped not. Usually his dreams weren’t so damn annoying. Usually they involved some smoking hot girl and him and, well, the rest could be left to imagination. Though sometimes his dreams did involve when he was a wolf and running around in the forest, but those were more rare. Yeah, it was usually girls that occupied his mind at night. But tonight? There was only one girl in particular and he was kind of mad at her. He had this horrible dream that she and Ethan, his younger brother, were married and they had kids and that Liam was no longer attractive and he lived at home with his mother and that Kaitlyn was his bitter wife. God, it was terrible. He hated it but he hated it about as much as he hated his actual life at the moment so he had decided that he was just going to keep his lazy ass in bed all day. Until that damn ringing started. He groaned around and pulled out his cell phone from in between the pillow case and the pillow. How it got in there he would never know, but he never really questioned how things got into his room. He had learned over the years that it was best to just assume things grew legs and walked around his room at night.
“Hello?” he grumbled into the phone and heard nothing on the other end. “Hello? Hellllloooo? Helloo? I swear to God…” he muttered to himself and realized that there was no longer anyone on the other end. He had taken too long to answer his cell. Well then, fine. He decided that it’d be best to check voicemail just in case, though people rarely left him anything. You never know, though. He hit a button, still half a asleep, and hoped it was the right one. Suddenly Alex’s voice was ringing through the other end. Crap. No, the ‘crap’ wasn’t because he wasn’t glad to hear from her, the ‘crap’ was because she wanted him to get out of bed. He really didn’t want to get out of bed right now but he was fairly certain she would strangle him if he didn’t. They hadn’t hung out much recently seeing as he was plotting ways to kill his younger brother and make it look like an ‘accident’. On a side note, how was the girl always so chipper? He didn’t know but he decided that it probably had something to do with girls and their caffeine, even if it wasn’t in the form of coffee. He eventually did get out of bed and wandered over to his dresser. Generally the public preferred that you wear clothes when you go out. Though, he did have to say he was rather attractive shirtless and doubted that all the girls in the mall would complain. But whatever, he put clothes on anyways and dug around for his keys. At twenty-four Liam was several years older than Alexandra, but they were still best friends anyways. He assumed that when you got older it didn’t matter so much anymore. Besides, it wasn’t like they were dating or anything. No, his dumbass brother was dating the girl that was supposed to be his. Ethan had his own damn imprint but he was too dumb to keep her, so why the hell did he have to steal Liam’s girl? He didn’t know but he wasn’t going to give Ethan the opportunity to explain. Liam finally arrived at the mall and wandered through the food court. He was way taller than everyone around considering the last time he checked he was 6”4 and counting. Probably more around 6”6 now, plus he was muscular. It was great because he could see right over peoples’ heads. Despite the fact that he should have been smelling all the delicious food right now, he was hit with a nasty smell when he came closer to Alex. It was almost like she had been…no, that couldn’t be right. Vampires didn’t hang around humans without eating them. Why the hell did she smell so funny? But he couldn’t just outright ask if she had been hanging around vampires considering there was no way in hell he was going to tell her he was a werewolf. And he doubted that the vampire that had been around her was going to tell her he was a vampire either. Dammit, did he have to go bust some vampire ass? “Hey shorty, what’s up?” he asked and ruffled her hair to bother her. She was short though. Or maybe he was just tall. Whatever, it worked. “What’s all the stuff you need to tell me?” he asked.[/blockquote] << AND I’M TONGUE TIED AND YOU’RE COMING ALIVE, COMING ALIVE >> << EXTRAS >> clothing`` click music`` click word count`` 800 tagged`` alexandra layout`` clarky lyrics`` matt nathanson << DON’T STEAL OR YOU WILL BE EATEN BY A PACK OF CARNIVOROUS FROGS, MMKAY? >> [/blockquote]

i want to be the one to walk in the sun Ahh. Nothing like drinking a perfectally sweet coffee on a wonderful afternoon. Alexandra loved drinking coffee, and when i mean love i mean L-O-V-E as in she has a coffee machine in her room kind of love. She's been drinking coffee since sixth grade and no matter how much money she spends, nothing will ever equal Starbucks coffee. It's always had the perfect effect on her tastebuds. If she's in a bad mood - Starbucks; if she wakes up to a grumpy mornign - Starbucks... What about when you're so bored and lonely that you don't know where to go? I bet you got this one... Starbucks. So yeah, while she was waiting for her best friend she went to... wait for it... STARBUCKS!
Alexandra stood there, waiting for her best friend to show up when her phone buzzed. She smiled as she pulled it out of her purse. Christos. He was so sweet, always sending her these sweet messages and all. She sighed as she answered quickly and took another sip of coffee. Every once in a while she glanced around, trying to catch a glimpse of that blue-eyed boy with long hair. As she continued waiting, her mind drifted off yet again to that perfect muscular man. Well, he wasn't really a man but whatever. They had some strange connection. I mean, the first day they met both of them had told each other their deepest darkest secrets. She had told him about her previous anorexia and bulimia and he had told her that he was, well, a vampire. Yeah, a vampire. She couldn't tell anyone about it and she wouldn't. But telling Christos her secret had somehow opened a new door, full of posibilites and hope. She was learning to trust both people and herself. That was one of the reasons she had called Liam. Well, that and that she wanted to tell him all about meeting Christos.
Though they were a good six years apart, Liam and Alexandra had always maintained a relatively close relationship. Hell, they were best friends. He had helped her so much when she got to Forks. She practically owed him her life, at least her social one that is. Ale chuckled as she felt Liam's hands ruffle her hair. She smiled as she looked up at him. It was amazing how, no matter how man time she saw him, she never got used to his extreme height. However awkward it was, it only got wierder when you thought about how short Alexandra was... She threw her arms around her friend "Liam!" she strangled him as hard as she could even though she knew she'd never find enough strength to hurt him the least bit "I feel like I haven't seen you in forever!" she smiled as she let go, as perky as ever. She grabbed his arm and yanked him over to a booth, motioning him to sit in front of her. "Oh my GOSH!" she squeeled like a child, hoping he would be able to stand all this happiness "Ok. So. Which do you want first? That deep dark secret that you know I've never been able to tell you and now I'm ready to. ORRRRRRRRRR. Do you want me to tell you about the wonderful, charming, fabulous guy I met the other day in the meadow?" she asked, not really minding which went first. She was in the hell of a mood. Let's just hope that Liam didn't have any bad news to tell her.

in the party, love, some man’s playing hallelujah
<< liam i g g y wyatt >>in the corner, love, all night girls drink wine<< I MADE A MESS OF THINGS, THE STOPS & IN BETWEENS, THEY WEIGH ME DOWN >> To be honest before Ethan had decided to be a giant ass and go out with Lotis Liam had not understood why Ethan was being such a goddamn baby about the whole situation with Kaitlyn. That was, of course, before this had happened and before Ethan had taken the girl that Liam wanted. Now he some what understood what the ass wad was going through. Of course, the situation was rather different in his mind. Liam was also certain that if you were to ask anyone that they would definitely be on his side. After all, there was no outside force working in the relationship- or lack therefore of- Ethan and Kaitlyn. The morons had imprinted on each other, she lied and said she hadn’t imprinted on him, and then Ethan went and sulked. There was no one there to steal Kaitlyn away from him and whatnot. Why did he have to go and steal Lotis, then? What had Liam possibly done to deserve that? Sure, they all fought when they were younger but they all knew well enough that a punch to the face was much better than all this psychological warfare bullshit. That boy had another thing coming. Liam hadn’t even realized just how possessive he was about Lotis until someone tried- and apparently succeeded- to take her away.
If there was nothing Liam hated more than the smell of coffee it had to be the smell of vampires. And Alex absolutely reeked of both. This was not fair for poor Liam’s senses at all. It was bad enough that he was so rudely put into this situation with his brother, it was bad enough that he was woken up to go to a freaking mall, but now this? You throw in both things and expect Liam not to go freaking Hulk and destroy the place? It was like the world was just testing how far it could push him right now. She was lucky she was human and not one of his brothers otherwise he would have threatened to beat her- in brother form- to a pulp if she didn’t shower. She dodged a bullet there quite frankly. Plus his brothers were annoying, even if he WAS favouring Samuel at the current moment in time. Oh Lord, small body flying his way. It was a good thing he was a wolf otherwise he probably wouldn’t have any breath left in him. “Small person!” he replied to her strangle grasp. Well, strange grasp, grasp you might have a kitten, they both worked because neither of them felt strong to him. “Lord woman, you need to cut down on the coffee whenever we get together. The world cannot handle you on a normal day, let alone a caffeinated one,” he teased, though was also slightly serious. Her perkiness was somewhat terrifying at times. Normally Liam could not handle perky people. They were just not his thing. He would rather stab out his eyes with rusty spoons that hang around perky people. But for whatever odd reason he put up with it when it came to Alexandra. Liam widened his eyes but let her pull him along to a booth and be flopped down in front of her. He was always most uncomfortable in booths…and restaurants for that matter. They did NOT know how to make seating comfortable for huge people. Oh well. Liam scrunched up his nose in displeasure at the note of this guy. Liam was not a fourteen year old high school girl. He was not interested in those…ahem…*delightful* details. Though he would put up with them…eventually. “Let’s go with deep dark secret,” he decided on. “It might give your body some time to dissolve some of that energy so you’re not so…perky…when you tell me about this…fellow, or whatever, of yours,” he said and grimaced. He was not the type of boy that you substituted for girl talk. It just not fly with him. Besides, if the smell that was coming off of her was any indication of what she had been doing the past few days with this boy, he hoped she didn’t get too attached to him because he, well, murdered vampires. “So let’s hear it. Deep dark secret, go.”[/blockquote] << AND I’M TONGUE TIED AND YOU’RE COMING ALIVE, COMING ALIVE >> << EXTRAS >> clothing`` click music`` click word count`` 713 tagged`` alexandra layout`` clarky lyrics`` matt nathanson << DON’T STEAL OR YOU WILL BE EATEN BY A PACK OF CARNIVOROUS FROGS, MMKAY? >> [/blockquote]

i want to be the one to walk in the sun Alexandra felt the energy flow through her as she kept on drinking coffee. The same thing always happened... she drank coffee and got hyper. Though you may think this has the same effect on her as it does on everyone, you're entirely wrong. If she were a normal person, it'd be fine. But she was perky... really perky. As in always happy and smiling and positive. People would usually put up with it. Mostly because all this perkiness could come in handy if you were having some type of emotional breakdown. If not, it could be down right annoying; especially if you were in a bad mood. Nobody liked seeing another person over-joyed when they were in a bad mood. Ale continued sipping her coffee, getting even more figetty by the second. Would Liam even show up? What if he had woken him up or something? Every time you called someone to see them they were usually sleeping or in the most inconvenient of situations. She bit her lower lip and looked down at her watch. If he did come, he woudl be here in a couple of minutes. If he didn't, well, she'd skip the whole sitting down and telling him all about her life and go directally to the shopping part.
Don't you just hate when you text or leave a message and they don't answer? She flipped open her phone one, two and three times and still, no sign from Liam whatsoever. Alexandra shifted her weight to another leg. She looked at her cup of coffee. Empty. Egh. Great. she thought to herself as she went to the nearest trash can and tossed it in. Right then and there, she felt a buzz go off in her purse. She stopped at a table to be able to look and see if she found it. As always, big purses and their mysteries. She'd swear she had put things in some purses that she was never able to find again. Or maybe some asshole had taken advantage of her annoying innocence and smuggled it. She shrugged. Oh well, if that was the case... there was nothing she could do to get things back. After about a whooole minute of looking around her purse, she got a hold of her cell phone.
It was a text from Christos, again. She smiled as she scrolled down the page. It had only been a day since the last time she had seen him and was already dying to be in his arms again. It was ironic how one day you were watching the movie Dracula and the next you find out that the boy you were falling in love with was a living (and kind of breathing) vampire. She bit her lower lip. He had promised he wouldn't hurt her and she had decided to trust him. Let's just hope it wouldn't be something she'd regret. Ale typed quick reply. You know, the type mushy gushy stuff that you said when you were young and in love. I miss you too babe. Don't worry. You'll be seeing me soon, I just can't get enough of you. I love you. Ale closed her cell phone and dumped it back into what seemed to be Mary Poppins purse.
She laughed mentally as she ran towards Liam and hugged him. "Small person!" she smiled up at him. Why did she have to be so freaking tiny? and why did he have to be so freaking huge? Ale still had the picture in her head of her running towards her friend. It must've looked like an ant suicidally running towards a big huge elephant. Still, that elephant wouldn't hurt her... she was sure of it. "Lord woman, you need to cut down on the coffee whenever we get together. The world cannot handle you on a normal day, let alone a caffeinated one" Ale gasped and covered her mouth as he mentioned the coffee. Shit. Liam hated coffee, especially it's smell. Well, that was a bust. She looked at him guiltily "Wow. I'm so sorry. It totally slipped my mind how much you hated coffee" she apologized. "And as for the perkiness. You're just going to have to put up with it" she teased, sticking her tongue out at him. Ha. So besides perky she was childish? Yeah. She could be so horrible at times. Especially when you would catch her fighting with her fifteen year old brother. They would start arguing like six year olds and the maids would always have to get between them. If not, World War III would start and it wouldn't look pretty.
Ale saw her friend squeeze into the booth. She loved how, no matter how annoyed he was, he always seemed to put up with her. It was comforting being able to be her natural hyper self with someone that wouldn't yell at her because of it (though she was sure Liam would do it if he weren't such a great person) "Let’s go with deep dark secret. It might give your body some time to dissolve some of that energy so you’re not so…perky…when you tell me about this…fellow, or whatever, of yours" Ale chuckled. He knew he didn't want to hear about her love life... and didn't even want details to be mentioned. She wasn't doing him because she had no one else to bable about it with... she just considered him one of the important people in her life and thought he might want to know who she was going out with (even if she wasn't allowed to tell him about what Christos was). "So let’s hear it. Deep dark secret, go." Ale nodded "Don't kill me if I start crying. It's kind of hard to remember all of it." she explained
Before starting Ale took in a deep breath. Here goes nothing...
"Ok. So, you know I'm from Spain right? Well, I've always told you that I moved here because of my dad's clothing line. But that's just one of the reasons" she stopped "The other one was my eating disorders. When I was little, like... sixth grade little, I was fat. I didn't have a problem with it until all the kids started picking on me. So yeah, first I started throwing up everything I ate and later on I started cutting meals out of my diet." she bit her lower lip "So yeah..." tears started dwelling in her eyes "I relapsed a couple of times. Every time I went back to school kids just started picking on me more than before. They kept on saying that I was a dumb girl that had mental problems..." she shook her head at the thought "So yeah, my parents brought me here to have a fresh start." she wiped away a couple of stray tears "I just wanted to make sure of who were my real friends before anyone knew about it." she finished.

in the party, love, some man’s playing hallelujah
<< liam i g g y wyatt >>in the corner, love, all night girls drink wine<< I MADE A MESS OF THINGS, THE STOPS & IN BETWEENS, THEY WEIGH ME DOWN >> Liam sometimes wondered why he hung out with the people he did. He knew why he hung out with Lotis: he was almost ten thousand percent sure he had imprinted on that girl or something like it. Though that wasn’t the first reason. The first reason was more so because he had to fix the stove that her grandmother had somehow destroyed. The second reason was because she was in the kitchen while he was fixing it. The third reason was because he liked bothering her and she pretended that she got really annoyed and fed up with him. The fourth reason was definitely the whole him liking her thing, he just refused to even be aware of the fact until his stupid brother tried to take her away. Lotis seemed to be the shiny object in this situation. But she was Liam’s shiny object first! Grr. Anywho, he sometimes wondered about the other people, as well. His older brother, Samuel, was about as grumpy as they came.
It was a miracle that his fiancé actually put up with him. For some dumb reason she loved the weirdo. Now his younger brother was seriously being put into question. If this crap didn’t get sorted they would have one awkward Thanksgiving in October, what with Liam having to explain why he was thankful he had killed Ethan. His friend and his friend’s girlfriend were the only normal ones. They really needed to start working more on their demo CD if Liam was going to be sane in this world. And then there was the whole question of why on earth he hung out with Alex. Not that she wasn’t a nice person because she really was, he just didn’t hang out with the overly caffeinated peppy cheerleader type. Most of the time they made him want to bash his brains out against the wall. Sometimes she did when she was too perky, but other times he just let her be perky because it meant that she could supply most of the conversation and he could probably nap and she wouldn’t even notice.
It was a good thing she had a death grip- or what should have been death grip- hug because it wasn’t like he could do the same to her. He’d freaking break the poor girl if he hugged her as hard as she was attempting to hug him. “That’s because it smells like burnt things and makes people psychopaths,” he said with a grin. “Plus too much caffeine is bad for your heart and stunts your growth. I think you’re a prime example of that, I’m just saying. I mean, you hardly come up to my knees, after all,” he teased her. He was probably more so the freak in the situation but it wasn’t like she knew he was a shapeshifter so she didn’t exactly know WHY he was so huge. For all she knew, he and his brothers were half-Native, half-Scottish and were just huge burley, Scots. Liam rolled his bright blue eyes and pretended to sigh dramatically. “Don’t I ALWAYS have to put up with the perkiness? Is there ever a time when I get a break from it? Cause there doesn’t really seem like I do get a break. You would think by now I would deserve one,” he pointed out. At least, in his mind, he completely deserved a break from all the peppy people in the world. That wasn’t to say he hated all peppy people and that everyone should be solemn all the time. After all, he was usually a pretty chipper guy himself. He classified himself more as the cool, collected, and cocky one. Of course, whenever he was cocky it was more so for the laughs considering he wasn’t ACTUALLY a cocky person that thought he was God’s gift to women. Most of the time. “Besides, I can still hope that the perky peppiness will wear off at least slightly by the time you tell me about this most recent infatuation of yours,” he said. Sometimes he really noticed the age difference between them, like now. She had the heart of a high schooler and she’d give it away like she was fourteen. He didn’t fault her for it but it made him wary. He cringed at the mention of crying. He hated when chicks cried. It made him so uncomfortable and he was not the comforting type. He was not a shoulder to cry on because mostly his shoulder often surpassed the height of the girls’ heads. “Right, I won’t kill you,” he said. He could at least promise that much. He left out the part where he wasn’t going to be able to comfort her much either and he’d probably look at her like she was a crazy girl on crack. But she probably knew him well enough by now to know that he was not one for emotions and tears and crap. Ew, she was crying, and ew, she had an eating disorder. That brought him back to a conversation he had with Lotis about the fashion industry and eating disorders. It made him remember how he said that girls with eating disorders were pathetic and disgusting and that he’d never date one. He already dated a girl with an eating disorder once and he hated it. He thought it was pathetic. Of course, he couldn’t very well say that to Alex, but he couldn’t very well comfort her and tell her it’s alright. It was not what he believed and he hated lying. He already had to lie enough about what he was that he didn’t like to continue lying about other things. So right now he was kind of at a loss for words. He wanted to say what was on his mind but he wasn’t a jerk. So he wasn’t going to. It wasn’t like he had ever told Alexandra his thoughts on people with eating disorders so as far as she was concerned he could have actually given a crap. Liam shrugged gently and looked around, trying to figure out what to say. “Wouldn’t it be easier if you just forgot about that part of your life, rather than telling people?” he pointed out. “By telling people you’re just reliving the past every time you explain it to someone. If the point of moving here was to get a fresh start, then do that, get a fresh start and don’t even think about it.” There, that was more comforting than what he usually did. He was the type of guy that got all awkward and uncomfortable in nasty mushy emotional situations. She was getting way more from him than other people would. Liam almost wished he had picked the boring and uncomfortable boy talk before this. Maybe she would be so distracted by the boy that she would forget about the secret. Honestly it made him think a little less of her and he hated himself for it, but he couldn’t help himself. If he thought differently he’d be a liar and a hypocrite. But she was still his best friend. “Sort of like how Ethan tried to play with a polar bear and then Mom decided it was time to leave Churchill and now we don’t really mention polar bears around the house,” he laughed, trying to lighten her up so that she’d stop crying and being all sad. He didn’t like to see her said. “What was this about a boy, I hear?” he asked, drastically changing the topic.[/blockquote] << AND I’M TONGUE TIED AND YOU’RE COMING ALIVE, COMING ALIVE >> << EXTRAS >> clothing`` click music`` click word count`` 1260 tagged`` alexandra notes`` just a little question, are you able to not copy and paste liam’s dialogue into your post, please? it’s distracting >.< thanks hun! <3 layout`` clarky lyrics`` matt nathanson << DON’T STEAL OR YOU WILL BE EATEN BY A PACK OF CARNIVOROUS FROGS, MMKAY? >> [/blockquote]

i want to be the one to walk in the sun Her whole relationship with Christos was kind of insane. I mean, she didn't even know where her head had been when she accepted to going to his house. She had hardly known him; for all we know he could've been some kind of psyco. But no. She had gotten lucky. He had been sweet, caring and everything along those lines. Of course, we can't exactly say that he was normal. I mean... he had a scar that crossed his back diagonally and he was a vampire. Yeah you heard me right. A freaking vampire. From my point of biew, she reacted pretty damn well to the news. I mean... she went throught the three basic steps a) disbelief b) freak out c) acceptance; only the freak out lasted less than we would've guessed. So yeah. She was dating a vampire. I bet nobody could've predicted that.
Not being able to tell her friends about it was something that bothered her to no end. I mean... she usually shared everything with them; and news like this would usually be on her number one on her list of blurting out. Besdies Christos, her friends were her number one priority in life. From her point of view, you first have to trust people to gain their trust. Which was mainly why she trusted her friends with her secrets. See where I'm going with that? Anyways, she can't tell anyone. It's something that won't stop bugging her insides and she can't stand one little bit. Whatever. She'd get over it sooner or later. Besides, it's not like Christos was the only vampire around. Maybe her friends already knew about the little creatures and she didn't even know it. Maybe they kept the same secret from her.
She laughed as her friend continued associating her marvelous coffee with badd and slightly insulting (only because she loved coffee) adjectives. She smiled and shook her head "I'm not a psycopath." she said bluntly, hoping he wouldn't tease her about it. Then again, he seemed to be in the mood for teasing her today. She knew she was short. There was no need for him to keep on picking on her because of it. Well, of course. He was genormous. So that kind of made their height difference slightly bigger than what she was used to. She sighehopeless d "I think my bodies all done when it comes to growing" she shrugged "So that just means I can drink coffee my whole life without having my conscious bug me about it" she smiled. "Besides. I'd rather be all petite and sweet than huge and scary she finished, sticking her tongue out at him.
She was almost 100% sure that she was the perkiest person on the planet. Alexandra couldn't help it though. It's not that she was always happy... in fact, when she was super happy her perkiness usually seemed to wear down. She usually used it as a shield to hide the way she actually felt. If she was sad or nervous, she was perky. Now don't go thinking she's insecure. Alexandra was a pretty confident person for that matter. She just wasn't that open when it came to people she didn't know too well or when she felt nervous about what someone's reaction might be to a certain piece of news. Alexandra smiled and let out an exagerated sigh. "I guess I can give you a berak for today..." she said, standing on her tip toes to ruffle his hair. He was kind of right. Liam seemed to hate preppy people; or at least that was what Alexandra could interpret the few times they had walked past a group of cheerleaders or fourteen year old girls, she could feel the way he got tense and irritated.
She sighed. Liam had never liked seeing girls cry. But she wanted to tell him about everything that had happened. She had waited too long to be ready; and now that she was she couldn't back down. Besides, she had dragged him down to the mall specifically for this. To tell him the both stories, one good and the other one, well, not so good...
It's not that she wanted to drown herself in her memories. She knew that what she was doing was kind of masoquist... but she had to. Her friends deserved to know who she really was and everything she had gone through. I mean, what if they found out through some old piece of news or some fashion magazine that had her fathers biography on it? She was almost completely sure that they'd be all "i can't believe you didnt tell me that kind of news!" It would be horrible and too much to handle. Alexandra had worked to hard to earn her new friends; and now that she knew they were true, she was ready to let them know about it all. So yeah, there she was now... spilling the beans. Alexandra listened to her friends advice and nodded softly, a small smile appearing at the corners of her mouth "You're right. But either way... I wanted all my real friends to know about it. I mean, I'm not gonna make a whole universe about it. I just wanted you guys to know about me. I mean, it's an important part of my past and i think you guys deserve to know about it" she finished. And so he laughed at his little story and smiled, not intending to push the matter any further; Liam hadn't seemed to accept the whole thing very well.
Alexandra's mood suddenly changed when he mentioned "the boy". Aah Christos. She was so happy Liam had changed the subject; and somewhat grateful that he had chosen this less-interesting-for-him-subject. "Well... I met him at the meadow a couple of days ago. His name's Christos and he's totally sweet." yeah. She wasn't going to go into the whole "he's a vampire thing". Nah. She wouldn't blow his secret.

in the party, love, some man’s playing hallelujah
<< liam i g g y wyatt >>in the corner, love, all night girls drink wine<< I MADE A MESS OF THINGS, THE STOPS & IN BETWEENS, THEY WEIGH ME DOWN >> Coffee was the thing of the devil. After all, only that and crack cocaine could turn someone so crazy. Starbucks was the worst because they pumped everything full of caffeine. Liam was fairly certain that they did not believe in the concept of decaf coffee. He felt like if he were to walk into a Starbucks and shout DECAF! that there’d be some sort of secret riot coffee police that would come out of hiding behind fake looking plants and hipsters on their laptops and chain him to the fence. Well, if there was a fence inside of a Starbucks. Maybe that wasn’t the best idea in the world to chain him to. Fine, they could just arrest him and throw him in crazy coffee land jail. That would just be pure torture. Maybe he could go all wolf on them and he wouldn’t have to stay in coffee jail. He wasn’t quite sure but he thought that would definitely help him escape. Luckily Liam was not the type to worry about the law because he never broke any. Some would say that you know, killing vampires counted, but he and none of the other werewolves thought so. Besides, killing vampires saved human lives, and humans had souls and were living.
Liam rolled his eyes and grinned at her. “I beg to differ. I think that’s why girls carry such large purses sometimes. They’re hiding knives or something else sketchy and are just waiting for the perfect opportunity to bust people up,” he said with a nod as if he knew exactly what he was talking about. He didn’t, really, but it was a good guess. What else could they possibly be keeping in some of those bags? For gosh sakes, a small child? Really, some of them could fit two babies or maybe a child under three. No one would be any wiser unless the child starter crying and wailing. He knew that if he ever had a kid he wouldn’t stick it in a bag. Naw, he’d just get one of those child leashes so that he wouldn’t have to worry about losing the thing. Plus they were just hilarious. They were even better than cat and rabbit leashes. “I bet it’s all the coffee that makes people crazy, too. No one would get the idea of hiding knives in their bag before drinking their morning cup of Joe to get their mind active in the first place,” he said. He SO knew what he was talking about. Pft. Liam laughed and her sad sigh and looked at her. Sure, she was short, but she wasn’t actually THAT short. To him most people were short, even guys. To be fair, he was huge, and the general population was usually under six feet tall. Especially women. Women were so freaking short. Whoever he ended up with was extremely lucky if she liked to wear high heels because she could probably get away with wearing any height and still being shorter than him. Liam poked her nose and frowned. “I may be huge but I am not scary,” he said. “Unless you make me mad. Then I probably could be very scary. Like a bear.” It was better than telling her he would turn into a giant wolf that could rip your face off. Somehow he just thought that by saying that it might freak her out more than just a little. Besides, she might have been his best friend, but there were some secrets he just wasn’t allowed to tell. Otherwise Sam would have him axed or at least kicked out of the pack and left for some vampires to feast on. That would not end well, at least not for Liam. Then Alexandra wouldn’t even have a best friend in the end. No one would win. Sometimes he wondered just how much he would tolerate of her perkiness before he exploded into a sad pile of Liam bits, but somehow he always put up with it for her. That girl must have been something special. As long as he got some sleep in between hanging out with her he was fine and he would survive without exploding. He supposed that if you loved someone enough you put up with the little things that bothered you. It didn’t really bother him all that much anyways. It was just a general thing. “Aww, thanks, don’t I feel honoured,” he said sarcastically and looked at her with displeasure when she ruffled his hair. “Hey, not cool. I’m allowed to do that to you, but you can’t do that to me because you’re all tiny and I’m all huge. You’re taking my manliness away, gosh, Ale,” he said and pretended to shake his head like he was disappointed in her. Truth be told it would be nice to keep his manliness but he thought he maintained that extremely well. Besides, if anyone tried to say anything different he could always punch them in the face and his manliness would be restored. It’d worked in the past before. He squirmed uncomfortable in his seat for two reasons. One, the booths and chairs at different places were not the proper size for werewolves. Two, he was awkward when girls started crying. He wasn’t sure why they cried so often in the first place. It was like there was something remotely sad or distressing and the waterworks just broke open. He didn’t know why they cried at all anyways. Just what did crying accomplish? He supposed it helped to make other people feel awkward and uncomfortable but there must have been some other reason it existed. “Well, I appreciate you telling me,” he said. It was true, he was glad she was comfortable enough around him to tell him these things. However, he didn’t exactly know what else he was supposed to say. He blamed her. Not in the bad way, just the ‘you threw me into this blindly’ way. Oh well, at least they were out of secrets, hopefully. You know, minus the big hairy wolf in the room. Now he had to go from one uncomfortable to another equally uncomfortable topic. Wasn’t he the lucky one tonight? He hated touchy feeling conversations. He was such a man in that respects. She was so lucky he was her friend otherwise he would not be sticking around for these conversations. Alexandra seemed to light up like a Christmas light when he told her to talk about the boy and he knew that was bad. Well, bad for Liam. Totally sweet? Maybe sickly sweet smelling. He felt bad that if he ever ran into this boy toy of hers that he would have to kill him. “Wait, you met a guy in the meadow? I don’t know, Ale, that’s kind of sketchy,” he said hesitantly. Especially because of that disgusting scent radiating off of her. He didn’t even think sketchy was the right word to describe it. More like…the dude was probably looking for his next meal. So she met a murderer in the woods. Way to go, Alexandra. This girl was going to make him go grey, he swore. “So what, you two going out together now or something?” he asked her with a raised eyebrow. Time to get all protective. Obviously someone needed to protect her if she was hanging around with cannibalistic murderers. Might as well be her best friend. “By the way, I will kick his ass for you if he ever hurts you,” he promised. You know, emotionally or physically. He wouldn’t stand for that. “Not that I’m hoping he does, of course. I’m just saying. Some people aren’t who you think they are.”[/blockquote] << AND I’M TONGUE TIED AND YOU’RE COMING ALIVE, COMING ALIVE >> << EXTRAS >> clothing`` click music`` click word count`` 1284 tagged`` alexandra layout`` clarky lyrics`` matt nathanson << DON’T STEAL OR YOU WILL BE EATEN BY A PACK OF CARNIVOROUS FROGS, MMKAY? >> [/blockquote]

i want to be the one to walk in the sun Don't you just hate it when your mind drifts off when you're right in the middle of a conversation? For those who haven't had the experience; it's kind of like when a character in a movie has a flashback or starts daydreaming. Only that in movies time stops for them, while in real life you just stand their looking like someone who was nuts. Do you get the feeling? 'Cause that's exactly what happened to Alexandra. Don't worry; people were used to it by now. She was always letting her thoughts get in the middle of real life. It's a pitty she didn't actually think her actions out as well as she thought about everything else. None the less, there she was standing like a zombie, thinking about Christos.
She knew that it had been careless of her to go to his house when she hardly knew him. But then again, if she hadn't done that she wouldn't have a boyfriend right now... and let's face it; it took her long enough to find a boyfriend to just blow away a chance like that. She's beautiful, sure... but that implicated boys only wanting her for sex. She had taken advantage of that once or twice. But, most of the time, she was your typical 18 year old girl waiting for prince charming to come and sweep her off her feet. Who cared if Christos was a vampire? That only made him stronger and more interesting. She knew that he'd never hurt her... she'd just have to be a bit more careful and not get cut as much as she did (yes, Alexandra was a clutz).
Thanks to the scream of a young child, she was able to come back to reality; just in time to hear her friend continue rambling on and on about how women were pyscos. Girls weren't psycos, they were paranoid. Well, at least most of them were... and I'm talking about taken women; not singles. What harm is there in that anyways? Having a paranoid girlfriend or wife only shows how much more they love you. Besides, men were the ones that fought to prove that they were stronger than one another. Women may be paranoid, but men were childish. "I'd think twice about calling women psycos or I might pull that knife of mine out of my bag and stab you with it" she said sarcastically. Guys would never understand how important fashion could be to some women. Alexandra used it as a way to express herself. Her dressing up was almost like an artist painting on his canvas. You could even tell someone's mood through the type or colour of clothing they were wearing that day; regardless of their style. Alexandra shook her head at his last comment "No... coffee just makes people annoying" she stated. Now she knew what she was talking about.
Yes. Alexandra was short, very short for that matter. To be exact, she currently stood at 5'4 feet. (I told you she was short). She wasn't ashamed of the way she was though. In fact, lots of people said that it made her cuter. Plus being short meant that she could wear high heels whenever she felt like it; and Alexandra loved wearing high heels. Having made it clear that Alexandra's tiny, I can go on with the fact that she looked even tinyerwhen she stood next to Liam. I mean, Liam was huge. Mutant huge from where she was standing. So yes, he could be scary at times. "I'm cute, you're scary. Deal with it" she said with a small laugh. Teasing her friends was one of her favourite ways of passing time "Oh. And please try and get me a tape of one of your super "bear growls"" she smiled "I hope I'll never have to see them in person"
Alexandra could turn off her perkiness for a day. Liam deserved a break. I mean, how many times did he have to deal with her hyper jumps and non-stop talking? Ale could deal with someone like that. Then again, she was actually one of those people. Whatever. She had already promised doing it and she was a women of her word. She raised an eyebrow "You should be honored. Or should I start jumping and being my hyper self again to prove it?" she threatened, sticking her tongue out at him at the end of the sentence. Alexandra smiled as he went on and on about his manliness. It was so cute when you saw men trying to be all grown up and mature around their guy friends. She'd never understand the constant competition they had between them. "I won't do it again" she stood on her tip toes and ruffled his hair one last time "After that" she finished, winking at him as she went back to her normal position.
She knew that she had put Liam in an uncomfortable position telling him all about her past. She'd probably regret doing it when she got back home. But since the first moment the plane hit the ground when she moved here, she vowed to herself that she'd choose her friends wisely. Now that she had, she felt that she owed them at least the truth about who she was. She probably should've let the subject fall into one of their conversations before telling him to know what he thought of people like her. But that would've been like cheating. If Liam was her real friend, he'd like her for who she was now; regardless of what she might've lived in the past. "No problem..." At least now that she wouldn't have to worry about him finding out through some stupid press release. She hated when some stupid magazine digged up all the information about her family's life and published it everywhere.
Alexandra rolled her eyes when Liam began to get all protective. As much as she appreciated it, she had also hoped that he would've congratulated her before threatining with killing the guy if he hurt her. Then again, Liam wasn't really the type of guy with whom you could talk about all the mushy gushy stuff. Him saying that he hoped he didn't hurt her was closest thing she'd get to an "OMG I'm so happy for youu!!". Yeah, that would most likely be Claire's or Keisha's reaction. She smiled "There's nothing wrong with meeting the guy in the meadow." she sighed "It was actually kind of nice... Later we went to his house, he told me all about his life and then he took me to the bonfire at Alki beach" When he asked her if they were going out she nodded "I guess we are. I mean, we're still getting to know each other and all. But I think it's pretty serious by now" she finished "And don't worry. I highyl doubt you could hurt him. Seriously." she said raising her eyebrows. "I don't know. He's just different"`like vampire different... she thought to herself. "I really like him" she finished
