  - - - - - - - - ❧ - - - - - - - - ❧ ❧ ❧ ❧ ❧[/font][/color] we are just M I S G U I D E D G H O S T S - - - - - - - - ❧ - - - - - - - - It was going to be the perfect end to the most perfect day. It had taken her a while to get this point, but finally the sun was beginning to set and all of her hard work was going to be shown off. Leah didn’t remember ever working for something so hard before. Not even for Sam. Sure, she had help throw him little parties and to celebrate his achievements, but a gift as expensive as Embry’s had never been given to him or anyone else in her life. For some reason, she felt as if Embry deserved the best and that was all she was ever going to give him. Maybe it was the fact that she had imprinted on him and suddenly his happiness meant so much more to her than anyone else’s did. She wanted him to have the most perfect day possible and she worked her ass off to get it to be what it was. All those months of saving money sure did pay off. She managed to get him a brand new, top of the line cell phone, and a brand new Aston Martin. Jacob helped her to soup it up and make it nice and manly and all. She hoped it was everything he could have ever wanted.
As they two of them sat in her tiny little Honda, Leah had a huge smile on her face. Beside her sat her boyfriend, Embry, blindfolded and unaware of where the two of them were headed. Just a couple of minutes ago, they left the restaurant where Leah had made reservations for the two of them to have an exquisite dinner. It was quite enjoyable, complete with the waiters coming out with a slice of cake and a candle for him. It was small and simple, but it was only the beginning. This night was going to be so much fun for the two of them, more for Embry than for herself. First up was a sunset watch on the beach and as the sun disappeared more and more over the horizon, Leah would take him to see the car that Jacob helped her place just outside of the beach.
As Leah arrived and pulled into the parking lot at Alki Beach in Seattle, the nerves set in. She wanted Embry to like it and she hoped that he would fall in love with his brand new car. She pulled to a stop in a spot and turned off her car. Leah turned in her seat towards Embry, even thought he could not see her, and she smiled. ”Are you ready?” she asked him with a laugh. ”Don’t take off your blindfold until I tell you too. I don’t want you to ruin the surprise of all of this. This is part one of your second present.”

 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -YOU MAKE ME HAPPYWHETHER YOU KNOW IT OR NOT WE SHOULD BE HAPPY[/FONT] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -[/center] leah was really making this night amazing. he didn't expect all of this to happen to be honest. first she gave him a new phone which he thought was definitely enough of a present for him. and then she continued to make the night even more amazing by taking him out to a restaurant which they saw in magazine. and it was a really nice one and he wasn't allowed to pay for any of it. and now she had another present for him? embry knew how lucky he was to end up with a girl who cared so much about him and his birthday. he normally didn't take that much interest in his birthdays and normally just spent it either with the guys or with his mother. he never did anything as big or as expensive as this. and now that they were done with dinner they had to go and visit the second part of his present. sitting in the car embry was blindfolded and he had to admit it he was very tempted to peek and see what it was. she gave him hints but those weren't helpful at all. but he was glad that she had at least gave him some hints. ideas went through his head but he couldn't figure out what kind of present she could possibly get him. she already gave him a phone and apparently the second half of the present was better. random things went through embry's head but he couldn't think of anything it could possibly be.
she stopped the car and he assumed that they were at the location. he waited not sure what they were going to do now considering he couldn't see anything. moving his head he tried to listen wondering if the location at least sounded familiar.it sounded like water but embry couldn't be sure. she asked if he was ready and embry smiled as he heard her laugh. "i'm definitely ready" he told her with a nod. embry turned his head to where he thought she would be to look in her direction. he nodded as she told him to not take the blindfold off. even though it was tempting he had waited this long to see what she had in store he might as well wait a little longer. "i won't take it off" he told her with a nod followed by a sigh. he was so curious to what was going on but he couldn't do anything about it.

Sure she could be a little bit witchy and mean sometimes, but every girl can be. Leah wasn’t a fake and she certainly wasn’t afraid to speak her mind about anything that was bothering her and I guess that struck a nerve with some people, but oh well. She thought she was getting a little bit better. After finding Embry and falling in love with him and imprinting on him and all that, she definitely changed. She thought it was for the better, although others begged to differ, of course. Her mom certainly loved that Leah had finally moved on from Sam and wasn’t staring at her cousin Emily like she wanted to rip her head apart for coming down here and visiting and making Sam realize that she was his destiny. Leah didn’t care at all anymore to be honest. She was in a new pack now, even though the leader wasn’t exactly her favoritest person in the whole wide world. But she was away from Sam and his thoughts. Even after imprinting on Embry and knowing that he was her forever and that it was never going to change, it was still difficult to sit there as a wolf and see all the things running through Sam’s head. The disturbing images of him being intimate with Emily and the images of them being happy and laughing and smiling. She was supposed to be that girl so many years ago, but that had all changed in the blink of an eye. It was okay though, she supposed. She had Embry now and no one ever made her happier than he did.
She looked over at him in silence for a couple of minutes. How lucky was she to have found him. And to think, when he was younger and before she became a werewolf, she thought he was just another one of Jacob’s annoying friends. But when he had changed and she saw him, the new him, she began to feel an attraction. She didn’t give him enough credit before. He was mature, smart, and he really was funny. Sure, he acted like an immature child when he was with Jake, but didn’t all guys act like that when their teenagers? The bottom line was that he had the ability to turn it on and off. When he was with Jake, he would let loose and have fun, but when he was with her, he was kind, sweet, loving, and funny. He knew how to be funny with Leah and not get on her nerves about it. They could joke with one another and have a great time whenever they were together. They never fought and they never had a problem with one another. They were so compatible and so perfect fr one another. It was kind of unreal that this imprinting thing works. Like there is actually always one perfect person for someone out there.
After her silence, she got out of her car and went around to the other side to get Embry. He would feel the sand the moment he stepped out onto the beach, but the beautiful sunset would be the surprise. Alki Beach was, for some reason, the best beach for sunsets. It wasn’t along the coast or anything, so yeah, it wasn’t really a beach. But with the Seattle skyline and the space needle in front of the large orange sun as it set, it was a serene thing to see. She wished she had the talent to draw or paint so she could capture it. She wished she had brought her camera so that she could take a picture. She grabbed Embry’s arms and helped him out of the car, slamming the car door shut behind him. She walked him out of the parking lot and onto the beach, which was empty surprisingly. Not that she was complaining. more privacy for them, you know? She walked them onto the beach where a large blanket was already set up for them. On the blanket was an ice bucket with a bottle of champagne and two glasses beside it. Okay, so he was a little young to be drinking, but it was his birthday. She could have him break the law for one day (: She sat him down facing the sunset and she sat down beside him. She held on tightly to his hand before she said ”You can take off the blindfold now,”
