Ezra's outfit! --------------------------------------------------------------------- Sometimes all you need is friends. And if that's so then I'm lucky to have you.
Tonight was the big night and Ezra was getting anxious and a little nervous. Sure, he played infront of a lot of people a lot of times but tonight just felt different. He knew he had to start to get ready before he was off to the show in Port Angeles. He got into the shower and quickly got dressed. He was gonna text Kennedy to remind her about coming. Just incase she forgot or anything. His siblings were too busy with their life's to come and he understood that. He was just angry that his parents didn't give a crap about him. Which just made him feel more useless and etc. He wished they cared about him and wanted to be in his life. But they didn't and they weren't ever gonna change. His siblings didn't even care for their parents either. But he wasn't going to think about them now. He was going to focus on his show tonight and how proud of himself he was. A smile came to his face as he got off of the shower and got dressed. Then he did something with his hair and put his wallet in his back pocket. Tonight was going to be a long night and he was getting way nervous. Oh, that's right he had to make sure Kennedy was still gonna come see him play tonight. Hopefully she wouldn't freak at how many people were going to be there. But he was sure that she would have. It meant a lot to him that she'd come though. So, he'd have at least one person in his life there to cheer him on. He grabbed his cell phone from his pants pocket and got Kennedy's number up. He texted her saying:
Hey Kennedybear,
It's Ezra. I was wondering if you were still coming to my show tonight or not? I hope you are. But if you can't make it let me know. See you there soon if you do decide to come.
Your best friend, Ezra.
That's all he had said in the text and he sent it to her cell. He waited for her reply back to him. He grabbed his things he needed and went to his kitchen. Ezra had three more hours til he had to go to his gig. He opened his fridge and wonder what he was going to make for dinner. Maybe something easy and something that wouldn't take too long to make. He had to save some of his time to practice a little more. Even though he pretty much had his song down pretty well. He smiled as he grabbed some left over pizza. He grabbed a plate from his cupboard and put the two pieces of pizza down on the plate as he put the plate into the microwave. Then he watched it cook for a few minutes and took it out when it beeped. He then got something to drink, a pepsi. He drank a little of it and started eating his pizza. Left over pizza was the best, hands down. He was so happy he had gotten pizza the other night because then he'd have to waste some more of his time just to make something to eat. And he didn't wanna waste too much time on food. Even though he loved to eat and what guy didn't love food? He didn't know one guy that didn't eat like a pig and if any guy did then they weren't a guy in his book. He would work out everyday and every night to keep his body in tip top shape.
Not saying that any guy that had meat on their bones, maybe more than they should but they still didn't look too bad in his eyes. He had dated all different kinds of girls. He needed to find that right one and it was just getting harder to find her. Maybe Kennedy knew someone? Ezra and her had been friends since forever ago. He was an awful flirt with her but it wasn't anything serious. She flirted with him too but he was sure that she didn't mean it. He also knew that she was a werewolf as well. Which didn't bother him one bit. He thought being werewolf or a vampire was pretty neat and different. But he also it must have came with some pain in the ass rules or something as well. Which had to be a big bummer. His dinner was all gone in seconds and he let out a small burp as he put his plate in the sink.

no I can’t take one more step towards you
<< kennedy l e x u s oasis >>cause all that’s waiting is regret<< AND DON’T YOU KNOW I’M NOT YOUR GHOST ANYMORE, YOU LOST THE LOVE >> Kennedy sadly looked around her empty apartment. Her sister had gone out…somewhere. She hadn’t been paying much attention when she was speaking to her. Ellie was very pleased with herself now that Lucas was out of her life. Kennedy hadn’t meant to phase in front of Lucas. Then Lucas looked at her as if she was a monster, then he got really mad that she told him about what she was, even though he asked. He said he didn’t hate her or anything, and yet…he was gone. It felt like someone had taken a knife and dug into where her heart was supposed to be. She hated it and she just wanted to curl up into a little ball and die. She honestly felt like the light had gone out in her world. And Eleanor, her older sister, the one that was supposed to be protecting her, was pleased. She never wanted Kennedy to see Lucas in the first place. She even went as far as going into Lucas’ work and screaming at him to leave Kennedy alone. Well, Eleanor had gotten her wish. Lucas was never coming back into her life and it was only then that Kennedy realized she liked him more than a friend. Sweet, innocent Kennedy was so confused by the mere notion of it. She just wanted to cry. She just wanted to cry for the rest of her life and do nothing else. Suddenly her phone beeped and she looked down at it. She hated when words were on the screen. She lifted the phone up to her ear like when you’re calling someone and spoke into it. “Okay, yeah, sure, I’m coming,” she said quietly and put the phone down. Kennedy did not understand the concept of text messaging and she probably never would. Oh well. Ezra would just have to find out when he got there whether or not Kennedy was actually coming. She had forgotten completely about his show and she felt kind of bad. Then again, she took the week off work and was planning on watching sad movies and eating until she couldn’t eat anything else. She was a werewolf though and she’d burn it off in no time. Girls everywhere could be envious but little Kennedy was just completely heartbroken about the way things had turned out. Nothing ever seemed to go her way, ever. Her parents controlled her for her entire life. She moved out with her sister, only to go to a party and lose her virginity to some ass that tricked her. She fell for a boy only to have her sister hate him and him hate her for what she was. Nothing was working out for her. Sighing, she brushed her crazy blonde curls and dug around in her drawers for an outfit. She had no clue what she was supposed to wear to a show. Normally she would ask Ellie, but Ellie was gone and right now she was more than furious with her older sister. She couldn’t wait until Parker moved in. At least then Eleanor would be distracted by their other sister and would hopefully leave Kennedy alone to do what she pleased. Kennedy never wore any make up so she didn’t have to bother with that, grabbed some earrings and a bracelet, and searched around for her flats. Kennedy and high heels were a lethal combination. She was one uncoordinated wolf girl when wearing them. Eventually she made her way over to wear Ezra was playing and she sat down at a small table. A lot of people were on their feet, but some people were at tables. The only difference was the people that were at tables were generally with friends. She didn’t really care, she just wanted to be left alone for the rest of her life. Sighing, she waited for Ezra to come on and play his set. When he finally did she smiled a little bit; he really was talented. There was just something that was sitting heavy in Kennedy’s soul that couldn’t allow her to get very excited tonight. She hated the way she was feeling but she didn’t see it changing any time in the future. At least Ezra’s music was good. << AND WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE RUNNING AROUND LEAVING SCARS >> << EXTRAS >> clothing`` click music`` click word count`` 710 tagged`` ezra layout`` bethany lyrics`` christina perri << DON’T STEAL, MMKAY? >> [/blockquote]

Ezra's outfit! --------------------------------------------------------------------- Sometimes all you need is friends. And if that's so then I'm lucky to have you.
Ezra knew that Kennedy probably didn't wanna come out tonight to see him play his show. Since she had been through a lot lately. He understood in a way. Well, the most he could at least. He did know that she was a werewolf and that didn't change his feelings for her. She was a great girl and she deserved the best. He hated seeing other guys using her or treating her any less then what she deserved. Some people just couldn't leave some people alone. Alone, he knew that word quite well. Ezra tried to make his parents proud of him but it wasn't going to ever change and they weren't going to be there for him, ever sadly. He knew that and there was no way he was going to let that get him down. Screw his folks, he was doing very well on his own. There was no understatement about that. He had a great job, his own place, a car and he had money. Well, he wasn't rich but he wasn't poor either. He wondered if he should have invited Kennedy because maybe she just wanted to be home alone. But some fresh air would do her good, he knew that. He just wish she'd come to him about these things. Ezra and her had a great friendship. It wasn't like he wanted to get in her pants or anything. He just wanted her to let him in for once. Ezra liked helping people with their problems or hard times in life. Sure, he didn't get a helping hand when he had no where else to go but it had made him stronger. And if Kennedy didn't want his help or anyone's. She'd become stronger soon enough. He knew she had that in herself.
Ezra was glad that she was actually coming. He was worried that she wouldn't make it. But he was glad now that she was going to come no matter how much crowds bothered her. He smiled after he heard that she had decided to come. Ezra did have some what of a crush on her but he'd never tell her. It would probably make their great friendship weird or end if they were ever to date one another. Ezra was now ready to go to his show. He grabbed his car keys and closed his apartment door behind him and locked it. He was in a rush and it showed. He raced to his car and started the engine. Ezra wanted some time to get ready before he went on. He was still a bit nervous about tonight. But he got everything covered and he knew he was going to do great. He did practice every day and night. So, he did a lot of work to get to this point. There was no turning back now. He drove and drove til he got to the club he was playing at. He was a little early and he didn't see Kennedy's car around. He let out a sigh of relief as he locked his car up and walked into the club. It wasn't that pack right now but he knew when he was going to go on it would be. Well, at least he hoped it was. He checked in with the manager of the club and started to get ready. Ezra practiced a little bit and streamed the cords of his guitar til he was ready to go on.
Then by time he knew it, it was his time to go up. He let out a heavy sigh and grabbed his guitar. Ezra had a few butterflies in his stomach right now but he knew once he started to play, they would soon go away. He told the crowd what the song was called into the microphone and started streaming his guitar strings. He started singing the song and tried to not look so nervous. Ezra looked out to the crowd a few times and saw that Kennedy was there. He was happy and smiled as he continued to sing the song. He got a rush and it felt amazing as the crowd started dancing. Ezra was beyond happy that everyone liked it. He was done within an hour and sighed as he jumped off the stage. He was carrying his guitar as girls started to come up to him. He smiled at them and signed whatever they wanted him to. He had to laugh because he wasn't anyone that was famous. So, it was pretty entertaining to sign stuff for people. He had made his way to Kennedy finally. "Hey Kennedy! So, how did you like the song? And thank you for coming. It meant so much to me."
He said to her as he ordered a drink. Ezra needed something to drink after what he just did. He was just glad no girls were coming up to him and trying to get with him. Hell, they probably thought he was with Kennedy. Which wasn't such a bad thing to think about, to him. [/blockquote]
