in the party, love, some man’s playing hallelujah
<< liam i g g y wyatt >>in the corner, love, all night girls drink wine<< I MADE A MESS OF THINGS, THE STOPS & IN BETWEENS, THEY WEIGH ME DOWN >> Liam rolled his eyes and looked at her doubtfully. “Do you honestly think I would bring back a blanket so hideous that it would make you want to stab your eyes out with rusty sporks?” he asked with a dramatic sigh. “Wait, don’t answer that. You’re too honest sometimes,” he added on an afterthought. Though, to be honest, he did have to agree that these blankets were itchy. There was something weird about old lady blankets. They always had to be itchy and this was something that he had yet to understand. It was like they wanted to live uncomfortably for the rest of their days. You would think that as you get older you would demand comfort but the level of comfort that came from old lady itchy blankets definitely questioned that thought. “What if I got you a plain, solid coloured blanket that was soft and warm? Would that work? It can even be simple white. You can’t have a bad shade of that. And if you think you can then you’re completely insane,” he said. Besides, it would be much nicer than the blanket her grandmother was forcing her to wear anyways. Liam grinned and patted her on the head. “At least you remembered that through your drug induced haze,” he said. Had she been in her normal state of mind she probably would have disagreed with him in a heartbeat. “Please, the whole town is basically old people. And the mall definitely is not very big either. The one in Port Angeles is much bigger. This one’s more like a strip mall almost, though it’s indoors. You’d probably have to run around it fifty times before you even got remotely out of breath,” he said. The malls was pretty much the most pathetic mall you would ever see. The one in Forks was pretty crappy, too. “Plus, you might not want to run in malls because they might think you’re running away after you’ve shoplifted something. Unless you want to run around nude. I might even join you.”
“Isn’t that the same thing?” he asked with a raised eyebrow and half grin. “Cause to me it really seems like they’re one in the same.” Maybe she wasn’t even on proper medication. Maybe she was just on crack. That would make a lot more sense, not that he had ever been around anyone that had been on crack. Liam was a good boy. He shook his head and stubbornly looked away. “You’re not allowed to look at me like that. It’s not fair, it’s too disarming. You’ll just go back to glaring at me with those big blue eyes of yours when you get better anyways,” he said. He was not about to get used to them only to have her so rudely take them away from him again. Though he liked it when she glared at him because it amused him so much. She really thought she was all scary and whatnot but he hated to break it to her, she really wasn’t. She was like a tiny blonde ferret that was attempting to get vicious but was still some how crazy adorable. “Huh, next time call me when that happens then,” he said casually, as if watching her prance around in her underwear every day was a completely normal thing. Who knew? Maybe in her drugged state she wouldn’t realize what she was agreeing to. Liam shook his head and looked at her. “Because then you’d never get any work done and some other mob would come and take your place as head of the most awesome mob. Then you’d just be some creeper that liked to dress and undress boys. People would arrest you for that, you know,” he nodded as if that was a serious problem. She just couldn’t take time away from being a mob boss of her gay mob. “Besides, then all the gay guys would be hurt and think you were discriminating against them. Don’t worry, I’ll join your mob so you have one hot straight guy to dress. Or undress. Whichever works.” Liam rolled his eyes yet again and wanted to bash his head in against the wall. He was just saying the completely wrong things today, wasn’t he? Great, he was so going to have to kill Ethan now. You know, he generally avoided killing people. He had killed some vampires in the past but never another werewolf, but he was about to break that streak and just go for the gold. Or red, depending on how you looked at it in this situation. “Yes, so she actually does like him. He’s just insensitive,” he stated. Ha! There, no self respecting girl would want to date someone that couldn’t have the heart to understand what the poor girl was going through with her dead boyfriend at all. And if Lotis found some way to twist that around he was almost fairly certain that coffee table would be finding it’s way through a sheet of glass. “No, it just pissed her off and made her cry,” Liam stated. This wasn’t help them at all. This was making Liam angry and making poor Kaitlyn feel like worthless crap. Could anyone else not see that? Liam certainly could and obviously the Kaitlyn girl was hurting, especially at the hands of his brother being so damn insensitive, and here Lotis was feeling all bad for Ethan when Ethan had been the mean one to Kaitlyn. Liam looked at her as she stared like a blank zombie at the television. “If you think I’m so cute then why the hell are you still going out with my brother?” he asked. That was a reasonable enough question and he didn’t feel like he gave anything away. Unless he was a dumb ass and totally just let the secret slip. But he was fairly confident that that was not the case.[/blockquote] << AND I’M TONGUE TIED AND YOU’RE COMING ALIVE, COMING ALIVE >> << EXTRAS >> clothing`` click music`` click word count`` 986 tagged`` lotis <3 layout`` clarky lyrics`` matt nathanson << DON’T STEAL OR YOU WILL BE EATEN BY A PACK OF CARNIVOROUS FROGS, MMKAY? >> [/blockquote]

L O t i s V o n E m o r r e y
I wish I would have never met you. I wish I would have never kissed you. I wish I would have never loved you. I wish I would have never touched you. I wish I'd never known what your face looked like. I wish I'd never known what your lips tasted like. I wish I'd never known what the hurt feels like. I wish I'd never known what alone felt like. 'cause I miss you. Couldn't have missed you. 'cause I miss you. Wouldn't have missed you.
Rusty sporks? As far as Lotis knew sporks only came in the plastic variety. Curiouser and curiouser. She pondered this for a while. She couldn't recall ever having seen a spork made of metal and this dumbfounded her. Of course it wasn't so much her as it was her drug induced state of mind. His offer made her grin a little as she glanced sideways at him. Should she mention that there was more then one kind of white in the world? No, that probably wouldn't be healthy for either of them at this point. She also didn't want him to go out of his way to get her something, she wasn't his to babysit after all. Lotis was pretty sure her grandmother was doing a pretty good job at that so far. Minus the blanket of course. "I would like that, but I don't want you to go out of your way for a silly blanket." She shrugged before glancing back to the tv. Besides it wasn't like she needed a blanket when he was around anyway. Maybe she should just tie him up to the sofa and force him to be her personal heating blanket. Lotis was pretty sure that would be much less torturous for him then it sounded though she didn't mention it as she was easily distracted. This time she was distracted by talk of old people. "Mmmm. This mall running is probably a bad idea, at least around here." She found it a little odd that the malls here didn't open early like the malls in Seattle but then this was just a tiny dot on the map so that was probably why. Liam did have a good point though. She wasn't very well known around these parts so she might be confused for someone stealing. On the flip side though her clothes, even the ones she ran in, were brands not found in Forks anyway and she found it hard to justify stealing her way down the ladder as far as quality was concerned.
Lotis frowned. Did she admit she was lost? No, she was much to stubborn for that and besides he would make fun of her for losing track of what they were talking about anyway. She simply shrugged at him. "Believe what you want, I guess." Disarming?! Well, well, she seemed to have stumbled onto a little hitch in his armor. She smiled at him before pondering this little fact. She would have to remember this when he came back with some terrible eggshell white blanket and she asked him to take it back. She figured she'd be in much less trouble if she did a little lash bating in his direction. "How do you know that? Maybe I'll fall madly in love with you over the next month." Lotis giggled before grinning at him. Ha! Like that was going to happen! He would be one lucky SOB if he happened to woo her right off her feet so she wouldn't glare at him anymore. Even if he did woo her, she mused to herself over that thought once more, she would probably still glare at him from time to time. He was just lucky she wasn't the kind to harbor deep disliking emotions or her glares would probably last longer then a few seconds. Like now. She glared at him for a moment before shaking her head. She would NOT be calling him if she found herself prancing around in her underwear. She was quickly distracted though as thoughts of her hot model mob flooded her mind which was quickly given a frown as she glanced back to Liam. "I highly doubt any boys would turn me in for undressing or dressing them." She grinned at him though she wondered if there was some crazy boy out there that would. "I don't mind if I have a few gay guys, maybe half and half, I mean I deserve some eye candy too. Especially if I'm the head mobster lady!" Lotis giggled at him. "Ok, fine but I'm still pulling for half and half."
Lotis wasn't about to let Liam kill his brother, but she did feel bad for the kid. I mean seriously. Telling a girl you like them, or vise versa isn't something most people take very lightly and then to have them completely throw that back in your face would be devastating. She wasn't sure if she agreed with Liam though, he sounded like he was just trying to persuade her to ditch his poor brother. "I don't think he's being insensitive. She's the one who freaked out, even if her last boyfriend died in some freak accident she could have mentioned it instead of just blowing him off." Lotis frowned. Maybe she would make some small talk with the boy on their 'date' and see if she could help. although she would feel kind of awkward talking about something she might not have been invited to know anyway. "soooo, your brother and I were arguing over your situation and I figured i'd help if I could." Yeah that's totally not awkward. Lotis sighed. She didn't want to be the cause of crying! She was slowly turning into "that girl" and she didn't like that at all. "It really just sounds like a case of young love to me." She shrugged. Lord only knows she had made her fair share of idiotic mistakes when it came to guys. Liam's question caught her off guard and she glanced at him before shrugging. "Because he asked me. If some random guy would have saved me and asked the same question I would have said yes." She wasn't sure if that was totally true, but she was a little out of her head at that moment. She was pretty sure she would have at least given it some good thought before saying no if she wouldn't have said yes. "I mean it's the least I could do for someone who saved me," She stopped to ponder this a moment. "Although I think it would be more appropriate if I took them out since they did the saving." She frowned as she slipped into thought once more. This was a little predicament. Maybe she would have to insist on paying or things, that was the least she could do in exchange for her life, provide company and pay for the date...right?

in the party lull, some band’s playing hallelujah
<< liam i g g y wyatt >>in the corner the all night girls drink wine<< I MADE A MESS OF THINGS, MY STOPS & IN BETWEENS, THEY WEIGH ME DOWN >> Liam was starting to believe that the girl he was hanging out with was truly insane. Not the bad kind of hide-the-knives insane, but still fairly insane. She was one of those weird fashion people that believed if something was horrible uncomfortable and potentially dangerous it could still be worn and MUST be worn if it was the hottest trend alive. That was one thing he definitely did not understand about girls, let alone girls in the fashion industry. Was she really so opposed to him getting her a nice soft, warm blanket in fear that it wouldn’t match the colour scheme of the living room or it would just be altogether hideous? Probably. Was that going to stop him from going and getting a better blanket it for her? No. The funnier thing to do would to be to go and get a blanket that was purposely ugly just to bother her. But even Liam wasn’t going to do that when the girl wasn’t feeling well. Liam shrugged to what Lotis had to say about the blanket and mindlessly looked at the television screen. He wasn’t even sure what they were watching anymore. “I don’t mind. You’re probably already in enough pain, well, the meds might be counteracting that, but it’s the least I can do to make you more comfortable. After all, you went to all that effort to go and break your arm to get my attention. I might as well give it to you,” he said, trying to be serious and straight faced. Liam managed to hold it for a little while but soon he couldn’t help himself and he looked over at her with a smirk on his lips. Oh, it was so deliciously easy to find things to bother Lo about. She just made it so easy for him sometimes. Not that he minded. The easier the better because then he didn’t have to think as much. Thinking was sometimes his enemy. “Definitely. Maybe you should just invest in a gym membership or a treadmill. That might be easier. A little expensive at first but it would pay off in the long run if it was constantly saving you trips to the hospital and time off work,” she pointed out. And then he would be able to bother a fully functional Lotis, rather than one that was so doped up on meds that she didn’t get half of the things he said. “Don’t I always?” he said with a very content grin. He was one of those people that had the ability to annoy Lotis so well because he wasn’t going to do just whatever she wanted. Well, actually, that was probably a lie. He would do whatever she wanted but he would do it his way and be very annoying while doing so and in the end it would seem like he never did the thing for her in the first place. Or if it did he would just tease her a lot until she was annoyed and wanted him to go away. Then he wouldn’t go away and it would be a party. See? The way he operated was perfectly fine. But what was not fine was when she looked at him with those big eyes of hers and wanted something done. Now that was certainly not fair because how the hell was he supposed to say no to that? He wasn’t sure how and he wasn’t sure he was capable of saying no to her while looking at her. “Pfft, you’re already madly in love with me. For some dumb reason you just refuse to admit it. But you will one day, don’t worry,” he said and played with her hair. All he knew was that he was oddly attracted to this girl in a way that he hadn’t been attracted to someone before. Of course he thought other girls were hot or sexy or they had a wicked awesome personality, but there was just something about Lotis that intrigued him in a way that he couldn’t quite explain. It was annoying, actually. Liam was not a boy that often tripped over his words. And even if she did decide to admit her undying love to him he was still fairly certain that she would glare at him on a daily basis anyways. Love did not stop glares, this was something he had learned over the years. “Naw, I forgot to tell you, if you’re the head of a mob you don’t actually get anyone else but me. And if you’re not head of the mob you don’t get anyone at all because someone else will get all the other boys,” he nodded. “So really, be glad you’ve got this piece of ass,” he said and tried not to laugh. That was the first and last time he would ever refer to himself as a piece of ass. Though, many girls did often stop to check out his butt, so maybe he did have a nice one of those. “Half and half, but the straight ones are all gonna be married. Except me.” Liam liked this very much. He was weaving it so that he would be who she was stuck with. Except, maybe not state it like that because it made it sound like he was not a good person to be with. He was awesome to be with actually. She would be lucky to be stuck with him. “I don’t think it works that way,” Liam grumbled and stared blankly at the television screen. He was hating this right now and he also hated that it was affecting him so much. But he couldn’t help it. His brother just had to go and ruin everything. They were perfectly happy in Manitoba but his dumbass brother had to go and attempt to hug a fucking polar bear, then they had to move. As children they would have escaped way more beatings from their hard ass father if the dumb boy had kept his mouth shut. And now this? He couldn’t stand it. His life would have benefited if his mother never had a third child. Liam rolled his eyes at Lotis’ comment but continued to keep his gaze on the television. Young love? More like young idiots. That statement was way more fitting than the one she made. “Right, I’m sure,” he mumbled to himself. If someone asked her to go jump off a very high bridge would she do it? Gosh. There was a word that prevented dates. What was it? Oh yes, NO. Liam frowned and did not like the sound of her asking someone out just because they saved her. She could buy them a thank you card and sent them some chocolates. There was no cause for any further interaction. Liam was tired of hearing her talk about this date with his brother and did the only thing that came to mind. He leaned over the moment she was done talking and kissed her. Not one of those weak, lame, soft first kisses either. If he could give her a knock your socks off kiss and she could honestly say she felt nothing from it, she could date his brother.[/blockquote] << AND I’M TONGUE TIED AND YOU’RE COMING ALIVE, COMING ALIVE >> << EXTRAS >> clothing`` click music`` click word count`` 1206 tagged`` lotis <3 notes`` sorry for the wait D: layout`` bethany lyrics`` matt nathanson << DON’T STEAL, MMKAY? >> [/blockquote]
