Kylar has dark black hair that falls in layers to his shoulders. He usually dyes it. Most often red, blue, purple, even green. His eyes are a dark red but he occasionally wears hazel/grey contacts that look great with his dark hair as a backdrop. His face usually holds a cold, distant look that scares off most humans from approaching him or challenging him. Kylar's skin is a pale white and resembles porcelain.

He's about 5'8'' with a medium build. Not too muscular looking but isn't bird chested either. He does have a nice 6 pack and often can impress the ladies with his looks. Kylar doesn't have much facial/arm/or leg hair so that's a plus and the ladies usually like that as well. He isn't ashamed or self conscious about himself and would pose nude if he didn't have morals.

Kylar was never much into fashion and will usually wear jeans or shorts and t-shirts. His clothing is mostly dark, he doesn't wear many bright colors. His shirts are mostly portrayals of his favorite bands or brands which do NOT include the following: Hollister, American Eagle, Abercrombie, or anything similar to it. He doesn't like the expensive types of clothes except for Spencer's and Hot Topic, which may be mainstream but he likes the look anyways.

Kylar was born on August 7, 1908. He grew up in a small town in the middle of nowhere. Everybody knew everybody except him. He was homeless from the age 6 and relied on nobody but himself. Mostly scrounging for food in the town dump or exercising his pick-pocketing skills was how he survived. He knew how to get money off of bystanders without them even suspecting. From a young age Kylar was quiet and hardly ever, if any at all, spoke. When he was 10 he managed to convince a guy to give him a ride to the city, which ended him up on an adventure across the country. He put on that scared childlike face and got many rides from many different people to all sorts of places. He would tell them he had come to visit a friend and had lost his money, he couldn't get home any other way. They were usually nice and willing to do it for him.

When he got to Hollywood he was hoping to find a job as an assistant for some big actor or maybe a driver but they all rejected him. Nobody wanted his help. Lost and alone with little memory of his childhood he left Hollywood only to be kidnapped. It happened so fast he didn't even stop the man that he recognized from seeing several times before. Kylar had been so stupid for not realizing he had been followed the whole time. The man stuffed him the backseat of his car and drugged him. Kylar was semiconscious for some of the ride into the country. The rest is still to this day blurry to him. When they finally stopped at a small farm, the man dragged him inside and sat him in a chair where he tied him up and duct taped his mouth. He was stuck and scared; helpless.

The chair was made of iron and backless... he soon found out why. Kylar has scars on his back where the man lashed him heavily for 3 years. He was turned into a slave for the man. Doing house work, cooking, cleaning, feeding his animals. He was forced to occasionally satisfy the man sexually, but he remembers little of it because he was drugged then too. When Kylar turned 13 he escaped. It was the longest walk he'd ever endured. It took him nearly a year to make it all the way to small town in Alaska. He got help from a shelter for a little while and was put into school. When the authorities finally found the guy he was 15 years old. Kylar went to court and testified against him. He finally learned the man's name was Jerald Lafey. Something he recognized but ignored.

Gradually his traumatizing experiences subsided and his bad boy side began to show. Kylar began to hang out with the wrong people and often couldn't recall all of the drugs he had taken in a single night there was so many. Drinking became an every night and every day thing. When Kylar was 17 he had a drug overdose. It didn't kill him but he learned his lesson and got clean only to be depressed afterward. His life was a mess and only got worse when he began cutting himself. One thing led to another and soon he was doing drugs again. That's when he met Ivy. She was the love of his life in a matter of days. At the prime age of 17, she was perfect for him. But her parent's didn't approve of his sinful behaviors. So he straightened up and dropped his bad habits for her.

They were together for 6 months before she got pregnant. It went downhill from there. All he knew is that she was rushing to get to his house, that the roads were slippery. Her car just couldn't make it around that corner so fast. She died the next day. Kylar didn't know what to do. Everything had gone so wrong. His life was ruined. He became extremely depressed and didn't even bother to pick up his old habits. He just wanted to die, so badly. But he knew Ivy wouldn't have approved. So he decided to stay strong. He resumed his old job and got into a better house. An old Victorian one right outside of Forks, Washington (moving helped deal with the pain). It was way too big for himself but he didn't care. His outlook on life improved and he began to show of his old self. If not for the scars from the cutting to remind him...

But one day he relapsed. Something had changed in him in a matter of minutes. It started as a regular day with a run, it was towards the end that he ran into them. A couple he was familiar with that he often saw in the park. It was different today though. They were... doing it in the grass... It was still dark... This for some reason reminded him of Ivy and he had a breakdown. Collapsing into tears where he was; depression flooded into him. The scars from cutting on his wrists finally hit him hard and reminded him why they were there. His mind was racing through the feelings he had had for her, that he still had. Kylar then blacked out. When he woke up he wasn't in the park he had been running in anymore but instead he was in a bed. And there was a women standing over him. The women in the park. Her boyfriend was nowhere to be seen.

Kylar attacked her. An overwhelming hate for her set off a white rage in his head and he soon had her pinned to the floor, before he could put the first punch in he was slammed against the wall. Pain shot through him making him cry out. It was her boyfriend. For the first time Kylar saw his eyes, they were a deep red. Fear shot through him. And he blacked out again. When he woke up all he could remember was the burning pain. But now... It was different. Everything was so clear and overwhelming. What was he? He realized then he was in the same room as he had been when he blacked out but he was chained to the bed with thick silver chains. The guy with red eyes came in then and explained everything to him. His name was Viktor. He told him that he knew Kylar's whole past and he knew why he had attacked Rose, his fiance, so he had changed him to save him from dying from the blow he had received. It had fractured and broken some of his ribs and would have left him paralyzed from the neck down. Kylar thanked him and went home a few days later after getting used to his new self. Rose and Viktor moved away soon after Kylar's change. He soon adapted to his new life style and has lived in Forks ever since.

personality:

Kylar is a quiet person with a wild imagination. He doesn't speak or trust anyone unless he has to but is very outgoing otherwise. He likes dirt biking, cliff diving, partying, and anything adventurous or dangerous. He has a hard but kind heart that holds many secrets. He's very flexible and calm in stressful situations and handles himself well. He rarely ever gets over stressed or pushed to the brink of a breakdown. Kylar always seems to know the answer and is very well respected (to the few peers he has). He can be that someone to lean on and knows how to solve your problems. Although he isn't a very social creature he will help you if he thinks you really need it. It's only then that he gets slightly emotional. Otherwise he bottles everything inside himself.

Kylar has some weird but reasonable views on life that make sense. He has his own ideas on how life on earth was started as well as evolution and such. He is very well educated and knows things like: you have to lift a dictionary ten times to burn a calorie. Useless but interesting information. Kylar has a great sense of humor that some don't know he has; although it can be quite dark. He can be very sarcastic even asshole-like and mean if he chooses to be and can win any argument. He can leave you tongue tied and wishing you weren't there. He knows exactly how to bring anyone down to tears in a matter of minutes but can also cheer just about anyone up. Kylar doesn't have any friends but if he did he would be that friend you could depend on and trust with any secret. He would never betray you unless he really had to.

Kylar has a great respect for women and all the challenges they had to go through to get right. He believes that slavery was wrong and that color is nothing more than simply a color. It doesn't govern his opinion of you. He isn't very judgmental but he can be. He tries not to be overly overbearing but sometimes he can't help it. He does like being in charge and being the leader (which is actually fairly good at).

• Kylar, even for a vampire, absorbs large amounts of information. He notices little details and sees everything.
  
• He has the strength of staying calm even in stressful situations. He knows how to play it cool and seem natural.

• He isn't very emotional, which can be helpful with other people's problems. He can separate himself emotionally from them. As much as he doesn't like to socialize, he does like helping people with certain things.

• If you were to see Kylars' scars and he told you about what happened. He would break down, become weak in your hands. His past haunts him.
  
• Even though he's a vampire, Kylar is afraid of suffocation. He knows he can hold his breath forever if he wanted but when he was in Gerald's clutches he would often gag him which made ever breath Kylar took a struggle.
  
• Sometimes his anger will get to him and cloud his judgment. He will occasionally go into a white rage and hurt you.
  
• Sometimes Kylar procrastinates things. Boring things. He knows he has forever but he doesn't have much interest in doing things that'll waist his time or bore him.
  
• If Kylar were to get together with another girl he would shower her with love, he would be clingy. Not the bad clingy just that over protective clingy. He'd worry constantly over her and make sure that she always knew he loved her. Sure that doesn't sound all bad but most girls don't like the constriction.

The moon was out but blocked out by the dark unforgiving clouds that dominated the night sky. It would rain soon but Vivi didn't care. She loved the rain and the dark so it would be a good mix later on. Driving well over the speed limit she wasn't quite sure where she was going she was just simply going. Maybe the old school house. It had captured her interest not too long ago and being a very curious person she wanted to scope out the place. Parking about a quarter of a mile down the road for the school house she made sure that the car couldn't be seen from the road. The fact that it was a pure black Mitsubishi Eclipse helped.

Walking up to the dark building she couldn't help but notice how run down it was. They hadn't bothered to rebuild it after the fire, so the charred walls and old desks made the place look even more run down than it actually was. Rummaging through a pile of wood that had fallen in from the ceiling, Vivi grimaced. There wasn't much to look through. The place had been ransacked probably many times since the fire, so that only a few old desks and the walls remained.

Sighing she finally sat down the steps up to the building, which she was surprised with that they were still there and hadn't collapsed from rot. Vivi was bored, and, not that she would openly admit it, slightly lonely. She wanted some company but never really was good with her social skills. As if she had ever really gotten along with anyone, ever. Human or supernatural contact was difficult to handle. Natural stupidity ticked her off faster than arrogance did. And that was saying a lot since arrogance brought a white rage over her in matter of seconds.

Kicking at the tufts of grass at the bottom of the steps Vivi sighed again and rested her head in her hands. Maybe she could go back to the apartment and fix it up a bit, but she knew that it was clean down to the spaces in between the tile flooring. She'd done that before she left. The Cafe sounded fun, but what she really wanted to do was go clubbing. Yes, that involved other people and enough touching to last her a while, but it was fun. She loved to dance and music was her everything. It was the only thing she could relate to.

That's when it began to rain. It had been thundering for the past half hour. It was cold and heavy, soaking Vivi's dark hair and down all the way to her tank top underneath her Metallica t-shirt. But Vivi didn't mind in the slightest. It actually felt quite good against her already cool skin.

this app looks pretty rockin'! the only thing i'd really have to point out is the length of the personality and appearance. add a good paragraph to each and you'll be set. also, kylar's family might not be known to him but you know them. same for his age, i was confused...if he's only in his 50-60s then why doesn't he remember the year he was born? go ahead and modify these few things and put [MD] in the title and we'll take another looksies (:
