Following the creation of synthetic blood (True Blood), vampires have progressed from legendary monsters to fellow citizens overnight since they "came out of the coffin." The small town of Bon Temps, Louisiana has been turned upside and split in half. Some despise the vampires, others accept the vampires, and some go out of their way to be with the vampires. Friends have turned against friends in the fight over what to do about the ‘problem’. For now, the True Blood alternative has satisfied most humans. However, not all vampires drink the True Blood. And not all vampires are interested in being members of society. A group of vampires who view humans as inferior are plotting the overthrow of human race.
The newer vampires are struggling for acceptance while the older ones are struggling to overthrow the humans and gain power. The whole situation is laced with irony. It was, in fact, what they wanted.
Just when you didn't think it could get anymore complicated or bazaar.
Sookie has been with Bill for a long time now. But now Sookie realizes that she not only cares and loves Bill but also feels the same way towards Eric and Sam as well. Who will she pick at the end of the story. What will happen? You'll have to wait and see. Here on Tainted Blood.
