Elizabeth felt the deepest sympathy for Tigan again. She couldn't help that. Tigan looked out at the grounds and Elizabeth saw there weren't many people. Tigan turned back and asked the question that made Elizabeth smile wide and bright.
"I'd be honored," Elizabeth said. "Thank you." She was a hugging person, and she wanted to hug Tigan so bad just for the heck of it. But she felt that if she did that, she'd only send her running. "Tell you what," she asked, "what are you doing later today?"
She hoped to spend quality girl time with Tigan. She was absolutely excited in making a new friend, one where she could discuss absolutely anything. Tigan was amazing, and even now, Elizabeth knew that.

Tigan looked down at the ground sadly, "I don't ever have anything to do, nobody ever wants to do anything with me." Tigan then looked back up at Elizabeth, "Until now. So no I don't have anything planed. What did you have in mind?" Tigan asked her alittle to exitedly.

"If you wanted, we could go to the Coffee Shop or something!" Elizabeth said. She hoped with all her might that Tigan wouldn't decline her invitation.

Tigan suddenly tried to smile but it had been a long time since she had, so it looked more like she was going to be sick. "Sure I would love to go." Tigan then jumped up, "I'm ready when you are."

Happy, Elizabeth stood too and said, "Okay! Did you just want to walk? We'd be able to talk some more, and it isn't far from here anyway." Elizabeth was embarrassed in still not having a car. She didn't know if Tigan drove, but if she did, Elizabeth felt she would be asking too much in asking Tigan to give her a ride. Besides, Elizabeth was the one who invited her, and the invitee providing transportation wasn't appropriate in that situation.

"Oh, well I don't have a car or even a bike so I guess walking isn't so bad." Tigan then started to walk in the direction of the coffee shop. "What did you want to talk about?" Tigan asked, not really knowing herself what to talk about. All she ever did was evesdrop and read werewolf and vampire books.

Referring to her car-less-ness, Elizabeth laughed and said, "Oh, thank God... I'm not the only one!" She caught up to Tigan till she was beside her, and she answered, "Um... I guess we could talk about the Cullens. Specifically. Just them." It came out sounding like a question. It wasn't meant to be, but that's how it seemed. The Cullens were people (abnormal people) who Elizabeth and Tigan constantly thought about, so maybe they could carry on a conversation about them for a good amount of time without straying towards her father.

"Those Cullens remind me of the people in my book and movies. The characters that have changed into something else and don't want anyone to know. They are never at school when it's really sunny outside and the girls never hang with anybody else. And that right there is just creepy, I mean if thier family and they like each other.....eeewww. Thats all I know. What about you?" Tigan finally finished talking and looked over at Elizabeth as they talked. Tigan knew that she was talking alot but she didn't get to talk to too many people. So she was going to talk as much as possible.

Elizabeth was surprised at how similarly she and Tigan thought. "I feel the same way! Everything you said... plus the fact that they're insanely gorgeous... I could have sworn one of them looked me in the eye the other day, and I cringed... but I felt so drawn. Like I should have been scared, but I wasn't. Nobody ever talks to them... it's not weird to me, it's just... it's different."
Elizabeth crossed her arms and pressed her hands into her sides for warmth. The temperature had dropped rapidly, at least 10 degrees since they'd left the school a couple minutes ago. Weird.

Tigan and Elizabeth had been walking about talking now for a good 15 minutes. They were in front of the coffee shop when Tigan noticed something. There was a fight going on in front of the coffee shop. Tigan turned to Elizabeth and said, "I wonder whats going on. I know, lets walk up like we were just going to get some coffe and I will do what I'm good at. I'll just use my book as cover and try to listen to what they are talking about." Tigan then put her book up to her face and waited till they got close enough to hear. She then heard a few words and walked into the store with Elizabeth.

OOC: Hope you lasses don't mind me proudly entering.
Nathan liked fighting. He admitted this, freely, to anyone with a deathwish or that canny stupidity to ask about his likes. Having discovered his Lupine tendencies, he'd quickly found that getting hit still hurt just as much if you were unaware of your heritage as if you were. Spitting blood because someone's just knocked a tooth out with a hefty right hook was not most people's idea of fun; indeed, it wasn't anyone's idea of fun. It was the adrenaline flowing through him like sand in an hourglass, making everything seem more vivid, more pronounced, as if his senses had rolled up their sleeves and gone 'Jump to it, lads.' However, this had it's downside. Mainly his scent. His scent was overload by the simple fact that most of the time, fighting involved an acceptable amount of blood. Glucose, platelets, ammonia, salt, tiny microscopic particles that simply threw smell into the air. Normally, he'd be half-blinded by the end, and not due to being hit repeatedly in the face.
This particular day, Nathan had to admit, he was just showing off. Pretty big guy. Front of a Coffee Shop. Nate had deliberately spilled his now luke-warm coffee onto his expensive looking shirt, and instead of begging forgiveness had proudly stated "You clumsy bastard!". That was 5 minutes ago. When the fighters know what they're doing, and have fatal intent, a fight lasts a few seconds, tops. It takes no longer to permanently cripple or kill someone; the human body is fragile. But a fight like the one he was embroiled in now; where neither seeks to severely injure, well, that wasn't good.
The punch to the jaw had given Nate a moment's respite. Spinning and stumbling, he spat his tooth out and managed to wink at two girls entering the shop. Then, he turned and rolled his neck, muttering "Well, looks like I better get this over with." The guy wasn't in brilliant shape. Nate had clearly left a rib broken, and he had a nasty bit of blood above his right eye. Nate had the tooth missing, and a dodgy shoulder.
But now, his entire manner changed. Instead of strong and upright; ready, it became lax and downtrodden, like he'd taken enough. He turned with his guard lowered and breathing heavily. His foe grinned with delight at this and took 3 giant leaps and aimed a downward stroke at Nate's temple. It was over in a second. Nate sidestepped deftly, like a prize fighter, and virtually tapped the guy on the temple, sending him to a world where dreams come true, and you wake up in a hospital bed. Fortunately, the man had several pals looking on in astonishment. Nate was smiling warmly, before gesturing down at the man's peacefully sleeping form. All this happened in 6 or 7 seconds, maybe more.

(OOC: All are welcome, the more the merrier. ) Tigan had just sat down with Elizabeth, when she just had to tell her what she saw and heard. "Apparently, I saw some coffee on one guys shirt and the other guy winked at us. I'm not sure who, but it was probably you, no one ever notices me anyways. But I heard from the people watching that the guy who winked at us, was the one to start it. Not sure why though." She finally finished, then ordered an iced latte from the waitress who had come over.

OOC: It's perfectly fine! :]
Elizabeth wanted to believe that the boy had winked at Tigan instead of at her... she was sick of being looked at like a piece of meat. She took her seat across from Tigan and ordered a frappuccino before she responded.
"Maybe the other guy called the boy who winked at us a hot-head or something." Elizabeth laughed. Ah, boys. She was never really one for the violent type, but there was always something she found attractive in them.
It felt good for Elizabeth to finally be able to settle down and have some girl time... it had been a good while.
An OOC note: I kinda tried to make a lame werewolf reference with the "hot-head" thing. Just so's you know. :]

Seeing your opponent dragged off by his friends always held a special place in Nate's heart. It was from something deep down in both his Wolf and Human instinct. Or maybe he was just a little sadistic. Anyway, Nate rolled his neck and examined the scene; his defeated foe had left his coffee, still full, against a wall. Shame to waste it, he thought as he scopped it up and took a sip. Lots of sugars, lots of milk. No wonder the guy lost; lots of light, happy stuff probably indicated he either had a feminine side or was a homosexual. Still, Nate wasn't one to turn down free coffee, it just wasn't in his blood, so he continued to sip it with his good right hand, while slapping his left into his jean pocket - the adrenaline and endorphins would wear off soon, and it wasn't gonna be terribly pleasant.
As soon as he strode it, he caught sight of the two girls he'd seen earlier. The one he'd winked at, curled hair looked kinda shy had ordered a...He took a second to syphon it out from all the others scents. He'd learnt how to do it. Anyway, she had an ice latte. Her friend, well, he didn't much care. Wasn't that remarkable. The Coffee.
Walking over with a half smirk on his face, he placed his prize of coffee atop their table and swung a chair round so that he sat near both of them. He threw himself down with a playful huff. "Hope you don't mind, ladies, I really can't enjoy Coffee without having two such beautiful girls either side of me." With that characteristic smirk on his face, and that typical New York accent, Nate was pretty sure he managed to hide the pain creeping up his left arm like an infection. Ok, maybe he hadn't come off best in that.

(OOC: Nathan does your character like the kind of girl who likes him, but acts like she doesn't, or the kind of girl who flirts alot?)
Tigan then looked over at Elizabeth, "Maybe, he looks the type." She then turned her head and looked at him, he was picking up a coffee that was on the window, he looked like he didn't like what was in the cup, but drank it anyways. He was cute she thought to herself. Then realized what she was thinking about and turned her head before he saw her looking at him. Then he walked in and sat down with them, she didn't mind him sitting, this was the most people to notice her in her whole life. She liked him, but didn't want him to notice. So when he sat down she didn't look at him, and only drank her coffee.
