[[uhmm moving thread onto this site xD]]
LEXI : The night was young and so was Lexi. Then again, she’d be forever young, wouldn’t she? She wasn’t quite sure how she felt about that issue. It kinda sucked because that meant all of her friends and family would just die and eventually she would be all alone. She frowned as she thought about this, just running around the forest. She had unspeakable amounts of energy at the moment, having just fed to her heart’s content an hour ago. She had been down in Seattle and there was some sort of shooting between drug dealers or what not. She wasn’t quite sure what the heck was going on, but she knew none of those men were good people. So, she had a lovely little dinner. It pissed her off that she had to eat from humans, or animals really. But she refused to eat from innocent animals, and instead only hunted bad people. She knew she was playing God and she didn’t like it, but she also didn’t want to go on a wild rampage from hunger.
There was a bunny up ahead and Lexi happily wandered over to it. Quickly she scooped it up before it could run away from her. The poor thing shivered in her arms, frightened. Lexi sighed and stroked it’s head softly. ”It’s okay, Mr. Rabbit. I won’t hurt you,” she whispered softly to the bouncy creature. Of course, it wasn’t bouncing at the present point in time, but generally it did. After a few minutes the animal calmed down a bit, though she could tell it would rather be on the ground. With a little smile she set the bunny down on the ground and it hopped away with all it’s might. Lexi kinda wished she could talk to all animals, not just cats. It would be rather interesting, though she might get a headache from all the chatter. But hey, if humans had no interesting conversation topics, then she could just go bug some sort of animal. Plus, she wondered what they thought of. For now, she would settle with being able to hear felines.
The moon was hidden behind clouds, but it wasn’t too dark yet. She could see everything no matter what time of day it was, but humans couldn’t. However, they could probably see now, unless they had really shitty vision. Lexi’s little dress swished lightly as she walked and she was thankful for her leggings when the breeze happened to pick up. Her bare feet hit the ground with almost no sound, thanks to her newfound gracefulness. That was one of the great things about being a vampire; she was virtually never a spaz anymore. Life before was so dangerous and she was always getting herself into trouble. But now? Well, she was still getting herself into trouble, but she never got hurt or ran into things as often as before. There were a few times were even she as a vampire ran into things and got distracted, but that was more likely a flaw in her vampiness.
GRIFFIN : griffin stood in his room his ear to the door waiting till he heard his parents in the room. they were downstairs cleaning up and he could hear them arguing with each other. ever since they moved his parents were always fighting about something, it was never this bad before. he was getting pretty tired of it now especially when they tried to involve him in their fights asking him for his opinion. even though every time he told them he had no opinion in the matter they would still ask and force him to give one. so he gave one that made them both look like idiots before leaving the room and his mother usually ended up grounding him because of it. but even though he snuck out every night to do some more exploring around this little town. there was something about it that didn't feel right and griffin planned on finding out what it was. as he waited for them to go to bed he looked through his closet for something to wear tonight. he had changed into his pajamas earlier so his mother wouldn't suspect anything. pulling on some jeans he wobbled around his room till he got them on completely. then he pulled off his shirt and put on the one that was on top of his computer. looking around his room griffin realized he was going to have to clean up in here soon. there were clothes hanging from everything even the fan that he almost never used. but at least he didn't have half eaten food in the place, he made sure he at least got rid of that.
griffin heard his father stomping up the stairs and go into his room. soon after that his mother followed and now it was time for him to get going. locking the door to his room griffin pulled on some shoes before climbing out of the window. the first thing he did when he moved into the house was pick the right room for sneaking out. there was a bush underneath just in case he ever fell he wouldn't break anything. griffin hit the ground with a small thump and he looked up at his parents windows and the light was off. they were probably already asleep so he wouldn't have anything to worry about tonight. tonight was the night he was going to take a look around the forest. when he thought about it going into the forest at night seemed pretty stupid but he wanted to know what was really going on. and he was a pretty curious person and until he got to the bottom of everything it would bug him. but as soon as graduation came he would be moving to a college out of state so he didn't have too much time to find out. jogging away from his house he faced the entrance to the forest and looked around one last time before he entered.
it was late and chilly and he wished he had brought a jacket along with him. goosebumps ran up his arms as he rubbed his hands on the to keep from being too cold. griffin stopped for a moment when he thought he heard a voice. it was faint and he could have imagined it but he decided to go check it out just to make sure. he took a couple of steps towards the noise and tried to be really quiet. he noticed a girl standing there in a dress and she happened to be barefoot. she was gorgeous no doubt but what was she doing here at night? griffin tried to find words, he wanted to ask her who she was but nothing came to mind. he considered leaving before she noticed him standing there but he couldn't get his legs to move.
LEXI : Now that her bunny friend was gone, Lexi needed something to preoccupy herself with. She briefly heard movement somewhere in the forest, but it could have been anything or anyone. A lot of the time there were idiots in the forest out camping. Now who the hell invented the idea of that? Probably cavemen or creatures of equal brainwaves. Like the humans. Ahh, just kinding, considering she had met a few idiotic vampires in her short time of being one. Lexi felt no need to investigate, and instead decided to meditate. Why meditate? Because it rhymed with investigate, which is how it first popped into her mind. Now Alexandria had never tried meditating before, but how hard could it really be? Her sister was into all that shit and had tried to get her to do it before. Lexi always scoffed and went to go bake cookies or something. Aww, cookies. She missed cookies. Why couldn’t she eat them anymore? That wasn’t fair. Cookies and cupcakes were a hell of a lot better than blood, but now they only tasted like dirt. Dammit all! Newly enraged by the lack of cupcakes in her life, she figured the thought of meditation popped into her head just in time.
She plopped down on the dirt and made sure her dress covered everything incase someone happened to wander by. Lexi crossed her legs and rested her forearms against her knees, just like her sister had done. It seemed like forever since she last saw that chick, but it really hadn’t been that long. Lexi looked 19, but actually was 19. It was a miracle that she hadn’t killed half the people in Forks yet. She laughed to herself and shut her deep red eyes. The sounds wrapped around her ice cold body and she listened to every little noise. There was a heartbeat, as was expected in the forest. She brushed it off as an animal, but when the breeze drifted by and carried the scent of something towards her, a small little grin appeared on her face. Ah, so there was a human watching her? That was somewhat strange. ”No one likes a stalker,” she said, amused, loud enough so the human could hear her. She kept her eyes shut as she meditated and partially wished that she could levitate. Why the hell did she have all these powers, and not one of them was to fly? That sucked, sucked a lot.
She heard the heartbeat speed up after she spoke and stayed still for a moment. Finally, she cracked open her eyes to see what the human looked like. It almost hurt. My, my, so it seemed that this human was as beautiful as a vampire. How was that even fair? Well, maybe he wasn’t beautiful, that was a rather girly term to describe a boy with. Smoking hot? Yeah, that worked. ”You know there are creepers out in the woods, right?” she said. Of course, he could very well have been a creeper himself, but Lexi wasn’t scared. He was a human, so he would not to any damage to her. ”You ought not to wander around by yourself,” she spoke once more. Lexi continued to sit on the ground, not bothered by the dancing ants or the dirt and leaves. It was just dirt. That was something she never understood; why some girls were scared of dirt. Weird man, just weird.
GRIFFIN : the girl at on the dirt and crossed her legs. she was so graceful, he hadn't seen a person move like that before. and he really couldn't get over her looks, it was hard for him to look away no matter how hard he tried. he didn't want her turning and seeing him standing there watching there. he knew how weird that would be but part of him did want her to turn around. part of him wanted her to talk to him even if she was just going to tell him to go away. and that part seemed to have got what it wanted because she commented on how nobody liked a stalker. that knocked some sense back into him and usually he would have a witty response for people but this time he was still speechless. griffin wanted to explain that he wasn't a stalker he was just stunned by her. but that would probably scare her away.
he was amazed to how she knew he was standing there. he hadn't moved, hadn't made a noise. and yet somehow she knew he was there even without turning to look to see if her suspicious were correct. and she didn't even seem scared to be in the woods alone and didn't seem to be scared that he would do anything. griffin stood there still watching and wondering what to say next to her. he didn't want to make himself look like an idiot and say something stupid but he was looking more like an idiot just standing there looking at her. she turned to look at him this time and he got to see her face. griffin wanted to badly take a couple steps closer to get a better look but somehow kept himself from it. she then said that there were a lot of creepers in the woods and he ought to not wander around by himself. gathering up all the courage he had he finally found something to say. " then why don't you wander around with me ?" he asked her. " you don't seem to be afraid " he commented. griffin knew that she would probably say no, he was a complete stranger why would she want to bother with him. but he was hoping for some weird reason she would agree to it.
griffin wasn't sure where all this was coming from. he was the last person you'd expect to be this outgoing with a person he didn't even know. he tended to avoid strangers, he wasn't too social and didn't like dealing with people. and griffin usually gave off the wrong impression when first meeting somebody, they usually took him for cold and mean and left him alone. but he never minded that trait about him but now he wanted to keep the girls attention and wanted to spend some time with her. most girls, no wait no girl had this type of effect on him that was probably why none of his relationships with them lasted long. shifting his weight around he waited nervously for her answer but tried not to show it. his heart kept beating faster and faster and he tried calming it down but it wasn't working. he decided that introducing himself would lessen the creepiness of this situation. a boy walking through the woods at night meets a girl and asks her to hang out with him, that seemed pretty strange. " my name's griffin by the way" he told her speaking softly but loud enough for her to hear.
LEXI : Was the human shy, or perhaps just stunned? She figured it was a mixture of both. There were some humans that were rather full of themselves and thought they were God’s gift to women. Oh please, maybe for one night, but after that, Lexi didn’t want to hang around a man whore. However, it was nothing unusual for a human to be so stunned by her apparent beauty that they start acting like morons. Women were less drawn into her trap, though a lot of the times there were a lot more bisexual women than you would think. Not that Lexi minded, considering she swung both ways, but it was rather annoying to go to work and have people drool over you instead of the amazing vintage clothes. You know what worked to discourage people? Show them baby pictures. That worked like a freaking charm, though why people would be put off by Penelope Lexi had no idea. She was the sweetest little thing and wouldn’t harm a fly. Of course, she grew like no tomorrow and Lexi was having a hard time affording all of the new baby clothes, but since she didn’t have to buy groceries as much anymore, there was just enough money.
”Cat got your tongue?” she asked, as closed. It wasn’t as if he could pretend that he wasn’t there, because Lexi knew full well that there was someone standing there. He had not yet replied to her, so she figured that was the case. Unless he was deaf. Which would be potentially problematic because she didn’t know sign language. When she opened her burgundy eyes the boy continued to just stand there. Did he not know how to move? ”Oh, I’m not afraid, darling,” she said with a little grin. Well, that wasn’t the complete truth; she was terrified of spiders. But he wasn’t a spider, so all was well in Lexiville. ”But I mean, you could be a creeper, so it wouldn’t exactly be safe for a young maiden such as myself to wander around with you, don’tcha think?” she asked with amusement in her voice. Ha! Maiden. She was anything but one. She paused for a moment, looking at the boy, judging his reactions. She soon stood from the ground, but had to remember to move at a human pace. You move a little too fast and suddenly they freak out. Bejesus. ”But I guess you’re in luck that I like to take chances,” she said and wandered over to him. Eh, he couldn’t hurt her, creeper or not.
When she got closer and the wind drifted by, his scent hit her like a tonne of bricks. Her eyes turned coal black despite the recent meal and she almost lashed forward to rip out his throat. The scent was even stronger now that she was drawing closer, but it only caused her pain. The rawr burning in her throat nearly consumed her and it took all her energy not to drink him dry. It didn’t help too much that his heart beat was so frantic; she could hear the rush of his blood and wanted it so badly. ”Lexi,” she replied sweetly, finally close enough for him to get a look at her. She could see him from where she was, but he didn’t have perfect vision like her. ”Are you shy?” Lexi asked with a slow smile. ”Don’t worry, I don’t bite,” she said, smiling to reveal her sparkling whites. Well, that was an outright lie, but the boy didn’t know that. She observed him for a moment and kept her eyes away from the vein that would hold the most blood in his neck. The second she looked at that would be the second she lost it. ”So, tell me. Why on earth would you be out at night in the forest? Do you wanna get chomped by a bear?”
GRIFFIN : griffin was annoyed with himself, how could he let someone make him seem like an idiot. even though he wasn't very social he always had a comeback for when somebody said something. but for her he didn't bother saying anything just staring.
she confirmed him saying she wasn't afraid, it even looked as though she had a grin on her face. he felt like she knew some big secret that he would never find out, or if he did find out he wouldn't believe it. getting to know this girl was going to be pretty interesting. she then continued to talk saying that he could be the creeper which was a reasonable suspicion seeing the way he was acting. but she was more amused then worried. and while he waited for her final answer she said that she liked to take chances. now it was griffin's turn to grin glad he would be able to find out more about this mysterious girl.
she got closer and she paused for a moment and something seemed wrong. but then it was gone and he wasn't even sure if he had seen her hesitate. she told him her name, " nice to meet you lexi " griffin replied testing her name on his tongue. she got closer and he got to get a good look at her. it was hard to keep from touching her to see if she was real but he kept his distance. she then asked him if he was shy and replied she didn't bite with a smile which gave him chills. " well i was hoping to run into a pretty girl, and i seemed to have got my wish " he replied gaining his confidence back as he smiled back at her. even though that was way off what he had expected he wasn't about to tell her why he was here. griffin hadn't explained to anyone about his suspicions for the town, they would just think he was being paranoid.
LEXI : Lexi was fairly convinced that this boy was a mute. Maybe he had his tongue cut out as a child. That would be rather painful. Was it weird to walk up to someone you didn’t know and ask them to open their mouth to see if their tongue was in proper working order? She wasn’t too sure. However, it didn’t exactly seem normal to do that to a person you knew really well, either. Fine then. Though, if she did ask him and he couldn’t talk, he technically couldn’t say no to her, and then she could just open his mouth and see. ”It’s a good thing you have pretty eyes, otherwise I might find this staring kind of creepy,” she tease lightly. Oh dear, maybe she shouldn’t have said that. Could he see her eyes from there? She didn’t know. She would just say she had really good eyesight, or that it was just a joke. There, problem solved.
Blah, blah, blah. She might as well have been having a conversation with a poster. A very attractive poster, but still, if she wanted that she could have just stayed at home. She sighed under her breath, too low for him to hear. If he just stood there the entire time like an idiot she might let that smell get the best of her and she’d have a little snack. ”Ah, so you’re at least responsive,” she said, noting his grin with one to match. Good, good. She liked it when a guy was actually a person, not just some sort of shell of a human. She ate those guys, and for some strange reason, she felt as if it would be bad to eat him. Though, his smell begged to differ. ”Of course it is,” she said with a little wink. There was nothing wrong with being a little…how should she put it, cocky? Naw, cocky people were annoying as hell. Hmm. Pleased with one’s self? There we go, that was the word. Words, whatever. ”Lovely to meet you, too,” she said.
”You know, most guys just go to a bar,” she said. Did he just use a line on her? He totally just used a line on her. Pft, boys. Hell, she didn’t mind, but that’s cause she was a different kind of girl than most. She just found it amusing anyways. ”Glad I could help though,” she laughed and her laughter twinkled out into the night. ”Come on, let’s wander,” she said and started to walk at a human pace. Hell, this was slow and slow and slow, but for him it was normal. God, humans were slow. It was weird for her to say that, seeing as it hadn’t even been a year since she was a human, but she was so used to the way she was now. ”So, now what? I mean, your wish has already come true. What’s next?” she asked and twirled a strand of her hair. She batted her eyelashes slightly then looked up at the cloud covered sky. Teasing boys was always so amusing.
GRIFFIN: his eyebrows raised when she mentioned that he had pretty eyes. griffin knew she was just teasing but he still smirked a little. but he made sure not to keep his eyes on her the whole time, looking around the woods once in a while. he was slowly gaining his confidence back and was glad he had decided to come out tonight. if he hadn't he would still be sitting in his room probably watching tv or reading a book he probably read multiple times already. spending time with a stranger he met in the woods just seemed a whole lot more interesting.
he was quiet just standing and staring so unlike himself. when she commented on him being responsive he knew he had to start actually talking now. " i'm just a little slow in the beginning " he told her even though it usually wasn't true. but he was going to change that and show her how he really was. he was going to show that there was actually an interesting person behind these " pretty eyes". a person who happened to be extremly interestied in her, not that she didn't know that already. she winked at him and then replied that it was lovely to meet him too.
" well i heard the girls in the woods are much more interesting " he replied with a small shrug. why go to a bar when there was a pretty girl having fun in the woods. at least now he didn't have to worry about people staring at them, they were probably the only ones in the woods. well at least he hoped. pushing some hair out of his eyes he looked the girl over now that she was close he could actually see her. his vision was good but wasn't good enough to help him that well in the forest at night. she on the other hand seemed to have no problem with seeing in the dark. she said she was glad to help before laughing, even her laughter was amazing. griffin wanted to slap himself for acting like this, he wasn't the kind of guy who believed in love in first site. and he definitely wasn't the kind of guy to drool over a girl no matter how amazing she looked. but as soon as he set eyes on lexi all his thoughts went out the window and he seemed like a different person.
she started to walk and he followed of course not ready for the night to end, it was just beginning. after taking a couple of steps he was side by side with her but not too close wanting to respect her personal space. he looked over to her when she asked what was next while twirling her hair and bating her eyelashes. griffin had to look away for a moment, she was a tease just his luck. calming himself down he turned and flashed her a smile, " how about you answer a couple of questions for me? " he asked her. this was the perfect chance for him to get to know more about her. the questions were buzzing in his head, he had a million he wanted to ask her. he thought about the first one he would ask if she agreed. oh he really did hope she would agree. griffin wanted to find out as much as he could tonight, he'd have to make sure he was home in a couple of hours. but he was going to make the most of his time here with her.

Oh shit, not the right thing to say. At least this boy didn’t know how to talk. He couldn’t question her noticing his man pretty eyes. That was a good thing, though also a bad thing. It meant he noticed that something was a bit off. She watched as he looked around. Was he curious about the forest? ”Baby, things aren’t gonna jump out at you in the dark,” she said. ”Even little old me could protect you.” Well, wasn’t that just the truth. It was probably very reassuring that tiny little Lexi could protect someone against…oh…I don’t know, a bear attack? Of course, this boy didn’t know that she could actually protect him from one. Hmm.
”Well, I guess that’s better than being a bit slow in the head. Not that I dislike people that are. I love everyone,” she said. Well, most people. Some people were just so gosh darn rude that it ruffled her feathers to no extent! Grr! For a moment Lexi rocked back on her heels, not caring that her feet were bare. It’s not like shit would get stuck in the soles of her feet or anything. Though, she loved shoes. She just didn’t want them to get dirty in the forest. She loved her shoe babies almost as much as her actual baby. ”Pick up up the pace, darling. Girls like me don’t wait around all night for a boy to get some words out,” she teased. Though, she had no where else that she particularly needed to be. But he didn’t know that. Better to be…mysterious? Eh, she had no idea how it went. Oh well.
”Whoever you heard that from is a down right genius,” she said seriously for a moment. Geeh, and here she thought only weirdos wandered around in the woods at night. Then again, there she was. Oh wait, yeah, weirdos wandered around in the forest at night. ”Though, there’s no alcohol in the woods, which is why most people don’t go. See what they’re missing out on?” she said with a little grin. She wasn’t always this cocky; only when she thought it would be amusing. And this human boy was amusing her to no extent, if not driving her crazy with hunger. ”Watch your step,” she warned. ”I can’t carry you if you fall and break your ankle,” she lied. Ha! As if Lexi wouldn’t be able to carry him. She could probably pull him around with one finger. Sigh. The things you had to hide from humans sometimes. It would be easier if the world could work together peacefully.
She giggled when Griffin looked away. Did boys really fall into vampire charm that easily? Or perhaps it was just her odd nature. Regardless, she liked it. Oh damn, he had a nice smile. Very nice indeed. Her throat burned to take his blood, but instead she only spoke words. ”I’m an open book,” she replied willingly. ”What do you want to know?” she asked. Though, there were obviously some things she couldn’t tell him. Duh. ”Except I’ll answer the standard faux pas questions. I’m nineteen and I don’t have a clue how much I weigh. No idea why you’re not supposed to ask women that, but whatever,” she shrugged as she gracefully avoided a root sticking up in a funny direction. Damn roots.

she noticed him looking around and told him things weren't going to jump out at him in the dark and that she would be able to protect him. " the first part im not so sure about " he admitted to her with a small shrug. even though he hadn't been in the town for long he knew that whenever people went into the forest it wasn't always a pleasant visit there. griffin even heard about the stories where people swore they saw large wolves hiding out in the forest. that he would be interested to see as long as he wasn't close enough to get hurt. but there had to be something more interesting then wolves in this huge forest and even though it was dangerous he was hoping to find out what it was soon enough.
he turned to her when she began to respond that it was better then him being slow in the head. he just shrugged it off no need for him to say something to make himself look even more stupid. she may be a little annoyed am being quiet but as soon as he got to know her he would be an ear full. griffin looked down at her bare feet almost forgetting about her not wearing shoes. he thought it was a bit strange but then again tons of people walked without shoes. shrugging it off he listened as she told him to pick up the pace and she didn't wait all night long for a boy to get some words out. she had a point he needed to start talking soon. he walked a little faster though to make sure to keep up.
" i know some interesting people " griffin said with another shrug. of course he was just going with it but his thoughts on here to meet interesting people really did change. it seemed like all the interesting ones were in the forest not getting drunk at some bar. " that's just one little problem, but we could always change that " griffin said with a smile. he wasn't really a drinker but he didn't mind a drink once in a while to get rid of some stress. she told him to watch his step and he looked at her before replying " i'm not that heavy, i bet if you tried you could carry me all the way home " he responded grinning at the girl.
he sighed when he heard her giggle, he really did need to work on hiding his emotions from people better. well not people mostly just her, it was only difficult when she was around. but she seemed glad to answer questions that he may have for her. but she told him the basics like she was nineteen and didn't know how much she weighted. even though she was a year older then him she still looked much younger then him. " do you often walk around the forest at night ? " he asked her as a first simple question.

”You scared of a little bear?” she said with a half grin. Well, most humans were. In fact, she was still slightly frightened by him. But it was okay because a bear couldn’t harm her. ”Darn right, of course I could protect you,” she giggled. Oh yes, yes she could. Smart boy. Sometimes humans got it right. It was rare, though it did happen on occasion, whether they knew it or not. ”But seriously, I wander around here all the time and nothing has happened. Surely you’ll be fine,” she said, just in case the little human boy was nervous. Though, she was lying somewhat. She had, after all, been bitten in the forest, hence why she was a vampire now. But idiot Loki probably would have bitten her anyways.
Ah, quiet again. She would see who could be quiet for longer, but seriously? Lexi would lose hardcore in that sort of competition. She was this close to slapping the boy. Crap, shoes. Wear shoes, idiot! Okay, noted. Next time she wandered around aimlessly in the forest, she would wear shoes. And damn she was going a bit to fast. She slowed down slightly so that he wouldn’t be rushing to keep up with her. It wasn’t her fault she was a ball of energy. ”Much more fun than knowing boring people,” she noted. At least he had good taste in people. After all, he was talking to her. Haha, kidding. Sorta.
Lexi laughed. Good, this boy had a sense of humour. ”That’s true. Getting drunk in the woods is always the safest thing to do,” she said sarcastically, but with amusement in her voice. Could she even get drunk anymore? She probably shouldn’t even if she could, you know, being a mother and whatnot, bad example, blah, blah, blah. ”Well, maybe, but wouldn’t your ego take a bit of a blow?” she teased. ”You’re not supposed to be the damsel in distress and I’m not supposed to be the knight in shining armour,” she laughed. Though, that would be rather interesting. Screw you, gender roles!
”Of course, it’s my hobby,” she joked. She thought for a moment, then shrugged. ”It depends. Sometimes it’s nice to clear your head, you know? And who said anything about the night time? Forests are perfectly walk around-able during the day,” she said. Eh, forests were fun, though she got extremely pissed off when she found someone hunting animals. Bastards. ”I also like wandering other places, if that makes me seem any less crazy,” she said with a little smile. ”Alright, detective, what’s your next question?”

he smiled at her question, " a little bear no, the bears mother yes " he admitted to her with a shrug. he could always outrun a small bear but when it came to the bears actual mother that's when he would have a problem. she giggled when she said she would be able to protect him.
" yep, no cops to see you " he said going on with it. honestly he would rather get drunk at a bar where he would know that a bear wasn't going to tear him apart. instead he would just get a couple days in jail for drinking underage. she commented on it lowing his ego and how he was suppose to be the knight in shinning armor. honestly he could never really see himself in that type of role. griffin doubted he would be able to ever become somebody's knight, he was just never committed in the relationships he was in. and he was a little skeptical on the whole love and soul mate thing and didn't expect it to happen to him. " we can change the roles just this once " he said with a small shrug. griffin wasn't too big on gender roles, like he didn't mind cleaning up once in a while even though people said that it was a womens job. if your able to do it then why not do it why does it matter what gender you happen to be.
griffin waited for her to answer his question and she just responded saying how it was her hobby. his eyebrow raised for a moment, so it was her hobby to walk around the woods at night. but then after a moment of silence she then explained how it was nice to clear her head walking in the forest. he use to have his own place where he would run away to when he needed some time to himself. it was great because nobody knew where the spot was so he could spend all day there and never be found. now he got to ask another question and he thought carefully about it. " what's your favorite kind of flower ? " he asked her curiously. it was a simple question and didn't take much thought but he was honestly just curious to what she was going to say.
( crappy post sorry, blame the distractions ! )

”Fair enough,” Lexi said with a little nod. ”Those mother bears can be rather pissed sometimes, ‘specially if you wake them from hibernation,” she told Griffin. She paused and contemplated it for a second. Did that sound suspicious? She wasn’t too sure. She bit her lip momentarily and thought, then spoke a second later. ”Not that I know from personal experience, of course,” she said, covering herself. Well, most humans that tried to wake up a bear from hibernation probably wouldn’t live to tell the tale, so obviously she had never woken up a sleeping bear. Teehee, oops. She didn’t eat animals, but sometimes she ran into them. Sometimes she ran into them while they were sleeping. Maybe they should watch where they’re sleeping.
Lexi laughed and rolled her deep burgundy eyes. ”Yes, because the cops are on the top of my worry list. Rapists, murderers, you know, those sorts, they aren’t anywhere near a woman’s list,” she said sarcastically with a laugh. That was pretty much why women should not go get drunk in the forest. That was an even easier way to get raped or beaten or killed. I mean, Lexi was completely sober when she was technically ‘killed’ in the forest, but that was only because she was up against a vampire. Drunk or sober, no one would really stand a chance against one. ”Alright, sounds like a plan, man. Though I have to say, I don’t think I would fancy seeing you in a dress. Maybe if you shaved your legs first,” she teased. Boys in dresses? Now that was pretty odd. Could they not find pants?
Okay, so walking around in the forest wasn’t the best hobby in the world. She could learn to sew? Perhaps. ”My favourite flower? Hmm, wasn’t expecting that question. Here I was all prepared and what not. Uhmm…” she thought about it as she absentmindedly did a small hop over a tree branch that was sticking a few inches off the ground. ”I’d have to say a daisy,” she said with a decisive nod. ”But the white ones with yellow centres, not the yellow ones,” she said, scrunching up her little nose in distaste. ”Are these really the questions you’ve got for me, darling? Geeh, I thought you would have more…inventive questions. Like…hmm…well, Griffin, can you grow wings and fly places?” she teased lightly. She liked the name; it was unique. But until he thought of some better questions, she was just going to tease the boy a little bit.

she commented on bears hibernation but then said that she wouldn't know from personal experience. he thought that was a little strange, how would she possibly now what a bear would be like if she was woken up? he didn't even think she would know until she brought up the fact that she wouldn't. it seemed like she was attempting to cover something up but ended up failing instead. the more he talked to her the more she made him think. he was lost in his thoughts for a bit wondering what lexi was really all about. finding out was going to be hard but he did love a good mystery.
he was brought back down to reality when lexi laughed. griffin just couldn't get use to the sound. her laugh wasn't a normal laugh, it just sounded so amazing he couldn’t believe it came from a person. the same with her voice, everything about her was just different. " of course not why would they be on the list " he said with a small grin. when he talked about changing roles she said something about him in a dress and shaving his legs. " do you think i have the legs to wear a dress " he joked pretending to stare at his legs. he moved it around a bit imagining what he would look like in a dress, he shuddered at the image. he laughed a little, there would be no way he would be caught dead wearing a dress. and there was no way he would shave his legs, that seemed like too much of a hassle. he would never get how girls could deal with doing that all the time.
she was a bit surprised at his question but he expected that. she thought about it before telling him that it was a daisy but a specific type. he made sure to keep a note of that for the future. not that he expected himself to be buying her flowers anytime soon, but you never knew he could get lucky. but she took a notice of his lame questions unfortunately, he was in a loss of creative questions at the moment. he smiled when she asked if he could fly. " if i could i'd be far from here " he admitted to her with a small smile. forks was the last place he wanted to be right now. but lexi was different then most people here, she kept him interested. and she kept him at a loss for words which he hoped he could get over soon. if he had to stay here for any reason one would be wanting to get to know her better. " how about you take a turn and ask me questions? " he asked her. " your questions seem much more interesting then anything i could think of " he replied. and he was extremely curious to what questions she would ask him, he wasn't sure if he was ready to answer them all but he was going to try.
( sorry this took me oh so longgg )

Never mention the bears again. Got it. She could read from his facial expressions that he was rather confused. She sighed silently to herself. This was going to be a long night, wasn’t it? That was the annoying thing sometimes about being a vampire; the humans were so preoccupied by your beauty and your angelic voice. Though, she wasn’t complaining too much. Sometimes it was nice to know that they were mesmerized by her beauty. ”I have no idea,” she said sarcastically. ”The explanation for that one is beyond me.” Well, maybe for Lexi there was some bit of truth in there. What was a murderer going to do? Break his knife against her marble skin? Maybe if they knew how to kill vampires properly she’d be worried, but not just a normal human killer. She would just kill the bastard in return. Why waste lunch?
Lexi laughed and looked down at the pair of legs in question. Well, they were kinda covered by clothing, but she could only assume they weren’t very feminine. ”Naw, I think you’re a tad bit too manly for a dress,” she said, scrunching up her nose slightly. ”Though you might be able to pull off high heels. You never know,” she teased. Oh Lord. Humans were unsteady enough on their feet as they were. Alexandria hadn’t the slightest clue why they would add several inches to their heels; it only made everything harder. Of course both now and when she was a human she loved heels, but that was only because it seemed like she could walk better in heels. Maybe that was just a girl thing, or perhaps even just a Lexi thing. ”Maybe you can save the dress for Halloween,” she said. Naw, she couldn’t see Griffin wearing one a daily basis.
”Ow, I think I may have to take offense to that,” she said, pretending to be offended. ”You would rather risk flying into the engine of a jet than talk to me? Tsk, tsk, tsk. It seems flattery is not your strong suit, Mr. Griffin,” she said. Though from Forks, yeah she could definitely believe it. But what with Penelope and just turning into a vampire, she figured it was probably just easier to get used to everything before packing up and moving. Besides, Forks was never sunny so Lexi could go outside a lot of the time. She intended on staying here til she couldn’t pass for her age anymore or until she found and even better cloudy place. ”Though Forks is a bit boring, isn’t it?” she said with a wink, unsure if he could see it in the dark or not. Which also made her wonder if he could see her eye colour or not. She hoped not.
”Hmm…that’s what you might think. But really I only had one interesting question in me,” she mused. Her main question was why the hell did he smell so good, but she couldn’t exactly ask him that. It was taking every ounce of her strength not to rip into his throat, but she figured that was not something you just brought up in a casual conversation. ”Imma fire a row of the standard questions at you. Ready?” she asked, only waiting a heartbeat. ”Name, wait I know that one already, nevermind. Age, gender is obvious unless you have a secret, relationship status, favourite colour, favourite food,” she said quickly. ”And now that those are out of the way…Hmm…how about…What’s your favourite…oh crap. I really have exhausted my interesting questions. Err, what’s your favourite smell?” she asked. Well, it wasn’t quite the question she was dying to ask, but it was along the same lines.

she scrunched up her nose as she spoke and he smiled. " you think? " he said when she mentioned high heels. he had no idea how women could walk on heels. especially the really skinny ones that were like ten inches. they just looked extremely dangerous and he would be too afraid that he'd break an ankle wearing them. " well if you let me borrow one, then gladly " he joked.
" well seeing as though your kind of interesting i might stay for a bit " he told her with a small grin. forks was just a never fun place to be. it was always raining and the people here seemed a lot different. and since it was so small everyone knew everything about who was in there. it was rather annoying having people know your name and random little tid-bits about you. he smiled when she winked, well at least he thought it was a wink. he didn't have the best eye sight in the world and it was still really dark." boring, and kind of suspicious " he admitted to her.
he waited for the ambush of questions wondering what they were going to be like. but surprisingly they were your average questions just all at once. " i'm eighteen, and yes i'm a boy " he said reassuring her. " i'm currently single, my favorite color is green, i don't have a favorite food, and my favorite smell would have to be vanilla" he said taking a breath after he finished talking. nobody ever asked him his favorite smell before and he actually had to think about it before he answered her. but he was quite satisfied with his answer, he loved the smell of vanilla. when he was younger his mother always use to smell like that and the smell just kinda stuck with him for all these years. " is that all you've got? " he asked her with a grin

Lexi laughed out loud and shrugged. ”Why? Do you want to try on a pair?” she asked, raising and eyebrow. Somehow she could see him walking around in heels, but then again she could always imagine everyone doing things out of their usual comfort zone. It was something that would never stop amusing her, quite frankly. She loved seeing fish out of water, minus the dead ones that were in grocery stores. ”I dunno, hunny, your hips might be to wide for them. You’re very bootylicious,” she said, sticking her tongue out at him and smiling in amusement. As if. He was not a curve lump of a man, but she was tiny, so she doubt he could even get his waist into one of her dresses. Her own sister couldn’t even wear them, and she was tiny. Oops.
”That’s more like it,” she said with a decisive nod. She liked being the reason that someone would actually stay around this boring place. Of course, she felt bad consider this place was boring as hell, but whatever. Maybe she could make it at least a little bit exciting for him. ”I think we could find some ways to make this boring ass town exciting, don’t you?” she said with a mischievous grin. Of course, her and Jacob were pretty much already tearing up the town, but some new blood could never hurt. Dammit Lexi! Now she was thinking about his blood again. If only he knew the thoughts that were running through her head right now…It was a damn good thing he didn’t know. ”What’s so suspicious about it?” she asked, genuinely intrigued by his answer. She knew why there was reason to be curious, but she wanted to know why this human thought so.
Eighteen. Well, she was forever nineteen. Good. She thought he was a boy. Single, eh? That was always nice for an afterthought. Of course, she didn’t know where she and Jacob stood. She was fairly certain that they were just friends with a few benefits. Edison just left her with the kid so that answers that question. Green. Ew. Though light green was nice. ”Really? Best smell ever,” she said, rather amused by his admittance. She loved the smell of vanilla and wore it all the time. Vanilla perfumes were lovely. Though nothing was good in comparison to the scent of his blood, but at that thought her throat burned for it again. Darnit. ”Psh, of course not!” Lexi scoffed. She paused for a moment, avoiding a tree root, thought, continued and stepped over the root. ”Okay, maybe it is all I’ve got. For now! I betcha I can totally think of more later,” she said. Lexi was like a little ticking time bomb. You never know when she might explode. You just have to be patient and prepared. He probably needed time to prepare himself against her anyways. Oh. That sounded dirty. ”Okay, it’s your turn again. Mr. Suspicious. So go ahead, ask away,” she said. Ha! Now he had to think.

" well if you can promise me i won't break my ankle then why not ? " he told her. " but you don't seem very into the whole shoe thing " he said pointing out her bare feet. he looked at her with pretend shock on his face, " my hips are not wide, just different then the average size " he said sticking his tongue at her also. griffin thought that their conversation was getting pretty interesting, and he was getting comfortable being with her. it was a lot easier to talk to her now then it had been earlier when he could barely get worlds out of his mouth. he stuck his hands into his pockets realizing he forgot his phone at home even though he usually always had it with him. griffin shrugged it off he wouldn’t want anything interrupting their conversation anyways. he was loving getting to know lexi more.
" but you have to stay interesting, or i'll fly away " he said with a grin. but he felt as though lexi was always going to stay interested and would always surprise him. " i think we can " he said smiling at her mischievous grin, she looked like she could cause some real trouble. not that he minded, he was up for a little fun in this boring little town. when she asked what was so suspicious about it he thought about it for a moment. he couldn't really explain why he felt it was suspicious, he just felt like it had something to hide. and he wanted to find out what it was. what this little town covered in rain and cold weather was really up too. " i honestly can't explain it, this town just gives me a weird feeling " he told her with a shrug. she was probably going to think he was just paranoid but oh well, maybe he was.
" yes, its amazing " he said with a smile. vanilla was just awesome in general. and it happened to be his favorite flavor in ice cream too. even though it was plain he liked to think of it more like a classic flavor. one that you could never get tired of and one that you didn't have to put a whole bunch of stuff in to taste good. griffin watched as she walked around avoiding all the things in her path. he on the other hand had to struggle to see what was on the ground so he wouldn't fall and make a fool of himself. he made sure to watch his step very carefully, but it didn't seem to be a problem for lexi. " of course you will " he said sarcastically. not that he doubted she would, but he was having fun teasing her a bit. " well how about we use your questions but change it up a bit ? " he suggested. " i know your name, your age, and im assuming your a girl " he began winking at her if she could even see it. " now are you in a relationship, what’s your favorite color, food, and your favorite book? " he said finishing. he knew she'd be able to handle the attack of questions but he was just hoping he could handle all the answers. he was more interested in the relationship status though, he wanted to know if a guy had already beat him to her. if so he wouldn't be the friendliest guy around for a couple of days.

”I’m sorry, I don’t think I can promise you that,” she laughed lightly. Lexi thought back to her childhood for a moment with a little grin. ”When I was little my older sister loved to wear high heels, and of course I wanted to be just like her one. One day I was walking around the house in them and she comes home and tells me to watch where I’m going or I’m gonna break a leg. The next day she was at a club and broke her angle walking down a few steps,” Lexi said. Ironic, but amusing. Maybe not for her sister, but to her it was. ”Of course, I’ve never broken anything because of heels. I fall more often when I wear flats,” she giggled. Sad thing was, that was the complete truth. Barefoot was fine, but there was something about flat shoes that just didn’t seem right to her. Lexi laughed out loud and looked at him skeptically. ”Alright, hunny, if that’s what you want me to think,” she teased. She liked Griffin more now that he had a brain in his head.
”Aww, you would fly away from me?” she said, pouting her lower lip out slightly and giving him puppy dog eyes. Apparently she would just have to stay interesting. She wasn’t quite sure how to do that, though, which could be potentially problematic. ”Good. Someone needs to paint the town red.” Oh, bad choice of words. She seemed to be thinking two things around Griffin. How adorable he was, and how much she wanted his blood. Poor boy. She was momentarily distracted by his gorgeous smile, but then was brought back down to earth. Alexandria waited for Griffin to cough up his answer. She was actually quite interested. Did the boy know about vampires and werewolves, or was he just a bit curious as to what the hell was going on? ”That’s true. I feel like there should be some corp circles or something,” she said, careful to leave out mentioning things that she knew for a fact to exist. She was still waiting for the crop circles.
Lexi grinned and nodded her head. Vanilla. Mmm. She kinda wished she could still eat human food. Who was she kidding? She always wished she could still eat human food. Except, when she did, it tasted like dirt. Ew. Lexi thought for a minute; should she run into a tree? It might make her seem more normal, cause she could see that he was watching her walk. Eh. She’d probably do that without trying anyways. She stuck her tongue out at him but grinned anyways. ”Hunny, have you taken one look at me? There should not be a doubt in your mind that I am a girl,” she laughed. And if he thought she was a man, then Lexi was about to be really sad. Lexi would have blushed at his winks if she still could, but instead she settled with a smile. Oh the relationship question. Crap. ”Err, I don’t really have the best of luck with relationships…” she said, biting her lip slightly. She figured it was best not to tell him about all the one nighters. ”See, I was supposed to marry this guy and we have this kid and it was all happy blah, blah, blah and then one day he was there, and the next he wasn’t,” she said, kind of sad. That kind of really broke her heart. She was certain he wasn’t coming back.
”Purple!” she said, switching the topic away from that and onto his next questions. ”Love, love, love purple. Food? Hmm…there are too many. Cupcakes, probably,” she said. Well, they were a favourite food as a human. Saying blood might scare him. ”I dunno, actually. I read a lot sometimes. I’d probably have to say, and don’t you dare call me a nerd, the Harry Potter series,” she said with a grin. ”Does this make us like best friends now or something? You know, seeing as we know the most important details about our lives,” she joked. Hey, it only took the basics to start a good friendship.

" mm, i don't think i'll risk it then, i rather like my ankles " he commented. he shivered a bit from thinking how he'd break his ankle his first time trying them. why women risked wearing heels he would never know. he turned to her when she started talking about her older sister. one of the questions he should have asked her was whether she had siblings. he on the other hand happened to be an only child. it was kind of lonely but he had a lot of time to himself to do whatever he pleased without getting interrupted. and he never had to worry about being in the spotlight with his parents they were too busy to pay attention to what he was doing. lexi seemed happy talking about her older sister, he smiled when she finished her story. " clumsy? " he asked her with a raised brow. she seemed a lot more balanced then he did, he couldn't see her falling down.
when she started to pout he had to look away. if he ever got into an argument with her the second she made that face he was sure that he would lose in a heartbeat. " maybe i won't " he mumbled still looking away not wanting to see her pouting face. " why red? " he asked curiously. if he was going to go on a mission to paint the town he at least wanted to know why he was paining it red. he was thinking more like green so that everything could match all the grass they had here. it was really annoying to cut it all the time but the rain just kept coming and the grass just kept growing. and if he didn't cut it he would have a jungle in his own backyard. " watch out or you'll get abducted by aliens " he told her wagging a finger like a mother would do. but the feeling seemed like it was more then just aliens. he didn't quite believe in aliens but he felt like what forks was hiding would be a lot more interesting. why would aliens come here though, it was raining all the time might as well go somewhere with some decent weather.
once again he got a tongue stuck at him and he responded with his own. they were acting childish but he was having fun. he hadn't had this much fun since before he had to move. " sorry for doubting you " he said putting his hand up in defeat with a small smile on his face. she admitted to not really having the best of luck with coming to relationships. " i know what you mean " he said with a small shrug. he and relationships never worked out and he was pretty sure that it was because of him. griffin just wasn't committed to any of the girls he went out with. he tried and hoped that the girl would be different then the rest but they were all exactly the same. but for what happened next he wasn't expecting at all. she wasn't too into details but all he got was now she was stuck with a kid. " you have a kid? " he said surprised, she didn't look old enough to have a kid. and this was the situation where most guys would run away and not want to get involved. a kid really was a big responsibility. but he was different, he wasn't going to let a little thing like that get in the way. " do you think i'd be able to meet your kid one day? " he asked avoiding eye contact with lexi.
she switched topics a lot faster then he had expected. he smiled when she spoke of her love for purple and cupcakes. " reading harry potter doesn't make you a nerd, it makes you awesome " he pointed out. " this makes us best best friends " he said with a small grin.

”You do have rather nice ankles,” she tried to say with a straight face. Okay, seriously, who went around saying that? She remembered from her crappy history lessons in high school that in one time period showing your ankles was considered horribly scandalous. Well, consider her a hooker then. Wrists, too! Did that make her a double hooker? Huh. Maybe. She’d ask her sis about that. Though she might question why little innocent Alexandria was questioning about that sort of thing. Naw, Lexi didn’t have a job, but she didn’t want that job. Lexi wanted to playfully shove his arm, but she refrained from it. If it was Jacob, she probably would have whacked him upside the head. But that was Jacob and he was just as strong as Lexi. Plus he was an idiot. A fun idiot, though. ”I think that’s an understatement,” she laughed.
Aww, did he really just look away from her puppy dog eyes? Wow, human boys were easier to snag than she thought. It was a damn good thing she wasn’t hunting him; there was no way he’d be able to avoid her trap. ”Good, that makes me happy,” she smiled sweetly. Mustn’t give the poor boy a heart attack with too much puppy dog eyes. ”Isn’t that the expression?” she wondered out loud. She thought it was the expression. Huh, maybe she was wrong. ”Well, it can be any colour you like. I’m not picky,” she said. Lexi grinned and looked up at the sky. She’d love to see the stars, but the sunlight reflecting on the moon would probably make her skin glitter. Sad face. ”I’ll be sure to keep that in mind,” she said. ”Oh course that means my midnight walks in Farmer Bob’s corn field have come to an end,” she said, sighing dramatically.
Ah, she liked Griffin; he was amusing and could keep up with her. Sometimes boys got a little lost. ”Haha, good. I shan’t like to think I look like a boy,” she said. Specially in a short little dress with curves and boobs. Then she’d just be one hell of a trannie. ”Things don’t always work out the way we want them to, do they?” she asked, though didn’t really ask, with a small smile. Life sucks then you die. In Lexi’s case, she died then sucked life. Hmm. Crap, she didn’t mean to let that one slip. ”Er…yeah…I have a daughter, Penelope,” she said. Lexi was worried for once. What if he didn’t want to be around her cause she had a kid? Some guys were like that. She liked Griffin, and it wasn’t just because of the smell of his blood. She didn’t want him to run away.
Lexi looked over at Griffin at his next question. ”You want to meet her?” she asked, somewhat confused. Most people thought she was some teenage slut that just ran around getting pregnant, especially cause of how old Penny looked. She was only a few months old, but she looked like a toddler. That’s what you get for having sex with a vampire while you’re still a human and getting knocked up. Way to go, Lexi. ”I guess, if you want,” she said, dropping her eyes to the ground and smiling to herself. Aww! He was so cute it almost hurt. She just was scared though. If he stuck around for awhile how would she explain the speed of her growing? ”Then I am Captain Awesome because I have read the series seven times since I was little,” she stated proudly. Go wizards! ”Good. Because it would be a shame if it made us enemies,” she said. Lexi looked over to Griffin. Naw, she could never be enemies with this guy. ”So, where are we wandering to?”

" thank you thank you " he said pretending to show the off. unfortunately that was kind of hard in jeans and sneakers. he could see that she was trying to keep a straight face so he tried to keep one too. but it was too hard and he ended up smiling at her.
even though he mumbled she still seemed to hear him perfectly unfortunately. " well i love to make you happy " he said pretending to be grumpy. so it was an expression he realized but he still had no idea what it was suppose to mean. " i have no idea, i've never heard it before " he admitted to her with a shrug. " any color i want? i'll consider it then " he told her. maybe he could paint it green like he was thinking, so that it would all match. he watched as she looked into the sky and he ended up watching her. griffin wished it was day already so that he would be able to see her clearly so that he could memorize every little detail. he shook his head feeling weird he was getting way into this way to fast. griffin barely knew the girl but she had already gotten into his head. he didn't want to be one of those guys who was head over heels and rushed into a relationship then turned out that's not what he wanted and ended it. not that they were going to be in a relationship, he was just thinking about how it would be if it happened. he shook his head once more getting these thoughts out of his head completely.
" no you look like a girl from head to toe " he said with a small nod. especially because she happened to be wearing a dress. how many guys in dresses did you find in the woods? he just shook his head a bit when she talked, it was a question but not the kind where an answer would make it any better. when she said her name griffin thought about it for a second. he was actually kind of curious to why she chose the name, not that he found anything wrong with it he just wanted to know where it came from. but he'd keep the questions about her daughter for later when the timing was more appropriate.
he could hear the confusion in her voice and honestly he was a little worried she would say no. she barely knew him and why would she want him hanging around her young daughter. she didn't really know anything about him. but to his surprise this time she said that if he wanted he'd be able too. he couldn't help but smile a bit at that he was excited to meet the miniature version of lexi. griffin looked back up when they started to talk about harry potter again. that he could speak confidently in, teenage mothers not so much. " we'll i've only read it about four times so i suppose you win " he said sticking his tongue out at her once again. " yes it would, enemies are no fun " he said with a small grin. when she asked where they were wandering too he stopped to think for a moment. he'd barely been in this town for very long so he had no clue where they were going. or if he'd be able to find his way back to his house, that worried him a bit. but he knew the general direction he'd probably find it. " well since your the one who likes to hang out in the woods, do you have any favorite spots? " he asked her curiously. maybe she knew a place where they could just hang out, sit, and just talk.
