she seemed a little weird when he mentioned not having any blood on his clothes but quickly got over it. " well i'd have to think about it " he told her with a shrug. " whatever you'd like " he told her with a wink. he was curious to find out what exactly she wanted to do, not that he was sure she'd tell him. but if she decided to she'd have his full attention for sure. griffin knew what he wanted her to say he tried pushing those thoughts out of his head but every time he looked at her it got harder and harder.
" yep, that's pretty much it " he told her with a shrug. griffin was surprised at himself for being able to keep a straight face this whole time. honestly he wanted to confess to lexi how amazing he thought she was and how he was going insane just being here with her. this was the first time he felt this way and he wasn't sure if he liked it. of course he liked the feeling of liking someone but the part where he had a huge possibility of getting rejected wasn't so great." well it's good to know you think i'm pretty " he told her with a small grin. but he was focused on the i like you part. hopefully it was true and she was falling as hard as he was, which he doubted but really wished was true. after he spoke a smile lit on her face and he couldn't' help but smile back, then that smile was followed by a giggle which kept the grin on his face a little longer. " really? " he said a bit surprised when she admitted to being afraid of the dark. he wasn't really afraid of the dark but more afraid of the things that came out of the dark, that's what really worried him. then she asked him if h had a secret for her. griffin thought it over he had a secret but he didn't want to ruin the mood with his depressing little thing. he decided to go for something a little more interesting, " there's this girl who i think is pretty amazing, but i'm to nervous to tell her " he confessed to lexi but made sure not to look at her when he spoke about it. griffin was surprised how open he was being with a girl he barely knew. he was saying and doing things that he never expected, but being around her made him feel different and he couldn't deny that he liked the feeling.
she laughed hard at his question and it took her a while to get control of herself. griffin didn't really mean for it to come out the way it did, but he didn't mind of course seeing as though she said sure. " well i might take you up on your offer so don't forget " he told her. he raised an eyebrow when she said she could get him out of trouble and she seemed sure of herself. he was curious to how that would work out but decided not to ask too into it seeing as though there was a scary cave she wanted him to go into. he made sure to listen to what she said, he wasn't too keen on dying or breaking anything in that cave. he held her hand and closely followed her not able to see anything. griffin was in awe that lexi could see where she was going, he could barely see her in front of him if it wasn't for him holding her hand he would think she left him. " swimming? " he asked her curiously, where and how were they suppose to swim in this darkness. after they walked a little more he saw her with a match as she lit a couple candles. and then he was finally able to see the underground pool she was talking. " this is amazing " he looking around, still holding lexi's hand he walked over to the edge of the pool. he'd never been to a place like this and he was glad that lexi decided to show it to him. looking around he couldn't see much because the candles weren't too bright but from what he saw he definitely was impressed. he never would have seen this place after having to make that walk through the darkness. " you know i bet your cute when your wet " he told her pulling her hands so she would fall in with him.

”Oh, well then,” she said with an amused grin, ”I hope that you’re able to make decisions quickly, because otherwise I might be in trouble. Either that, or I’ll just get Jacob to rescue me.” Though that was followed by a small laugh, she almost wanted to smack herself. In fact, she did want to smack herself. She didn’t want to be thinking about Jacob while she was around Griffin. Griffin was like Jacob’s polar opposite, and she could already tell that from the short time they had been together. As attracted to Jacob as she was, she liked the opposite of him about a million times more, and it wasn’t just because he smelled good. At least, Lexi didn’t think so. The one thing she did have to love about Griffin was his sense of humour. ”I think I have some things up my sleeve,” she said, leaving it open for his own interpretation. To be honest, she had no clue what was up her sleeve either. But she was sure intrigued to find out.
”Huh, well I guess that’s better than liking me for just being pretty. I’d have to smack you upside the head if that was your only reason,” she said honestly. Though, she looked so tiny, he probably that she couldn’t do a darn thing that could hurt him. If only he knew. It was a good thing she’d never actually hurt him purposely though; her little unbeating heart might break in two if that happened. ”Very man pretty,” she said with a decisive nod, trying to fight back laughter. Pretty, gorgeous, addictive; whichever adjective you wanted to throw around, it would probably fit. She’d leave out tasty. Lexi looked down shyly at the ground when Griffin seemed surprised to hear it. ”Yeah, you never really know what’s out there. And I mean we’re only human; we can’t really on our scent to smell danger. Seeing is what we rely on most; hearing is only somewhat helpful. It’s just so unknown. I always was afraid of the monster under the bed,” she said somewhat bashfully. You never knew what was crawling around under there. It could come up and eat you any time. True story. Lexi bit her lip and looked down at the ground. He liked another girl? Her heart just kinda crushed into a thousand pieces right there. He said he was single, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t like somewhat. Ugh, of course this sort of thing always happened to Lexi. She liked someone and they either used her and treated her like crap, they were taken, or they liked someone else. She tried to not let it show but it was somewhat hard. She forced a smile and looked over at him. ”Well maybe you should just tell her. Girls can’t just guess these things. Maybe she likes you back. I don’t see why she wouldn’t. You’re wonderful,” she said, trying to keep positive while saying everything. She just wanted to curl up in a ball and cry, but she couldn’t cry anymore.
Ahh Lexi could barely stop laughing. ”Sure, sure,” she managed to get out. He could go to Lexi Land. Get your mind out of the gutter! Oh Lordie. Why did people always seem surprised why she told them she was like their get out of jail free card? Was it not obvious that she was the type of girl that had never once gotten a speeding ticket in her life? She thought so, but maybe not. Lexi was glad she dragged Griffin to the cave cause she was too scared to go by herself, what with it being nearly pitch black and all. ”Yup,” she said decisively. She liked swimming. She beamed and looked over at Griffin. ”I thought you might like it. After all, it’s almost as amazing as our tree house is going to be,” she said. That tree house was going to be freaking amazing. ”Haha mayb--” she said, but before she continued she found herself falling. How did she not see that one coming? When she surfaced her laughter echoed throughout the cave and she swatted at Griffin’s arm as lightly as possible while still laughing. ”You stupid moo, I was gonna take my dress off first,” she said, trying to be angry but was too amused. Swimming in underthings was basically like swimming in bathing suits. Oh well, it wasn’t like the temperature was going to bother her. ”So,” she asked, swimming slowly around the small underground pond thing. ”Am I cute when I’m wet?” she asked with a curious smile.

griffin couldn't help but pause for a moment when she talked about somebody named jacob. even though lexi said she wasn't seeing anyone it seemed like jacob was the type that she could depend on to rescue her in any type of situation. griffin hoped that it was just her brother even though he knew it was far from the truth. but a boy could hope couldn't he? he put on a smile acting as though her talking about another guy didn't phase him even though he couldn't get it out of his head. maybe if she had told him she was interested in somebody before he would have at least tried to stop himself from falling so hard. he shook his head, she barely knew him he didn't have a right to know so much about her personal life. but that name just kept running through his head it was going to be hard for him to forget about it. but for now he was just going to have to act like he didn't care in order not to raise suspicions. but maybe he'd be a little more careful when he spoke in order to keep his feelings to himself. he raised an eyebrow when she talked about having something. " care to share any of these things? " he asked curiously hoping to see what lexi was planning. hopefully it was something interested that didn't involve anybody with the name staring with a j.
" of course i'd have more then one reason " he said defending himself. he had multiple reasons of course, but wasn't ready to share them all with her now. " good to know i suppose " he said talking about man pretty. was that the same thing as calling him handsome? whatever it was it didn't sound bad so there was no reason for him to complain about not knowing the real meaning of it. griffin was surprised to see lexi look so shy, she was so straight forward and fun and he wasn't use to seeing the shy side of her. the way she talked about why the dark scared her made him wonder if she knew something about the forest that she wasn't sharing. " i was always afraid they were in my closet " he admitted to her. under his bed was always filled with his stuff so he never thought a monster would bother being cramped down there. but his closet had tons of room and the doors never seemed to be left the same as when he went to bed.
he was surprised when she called him wonderful. did that mean she wouldn't mind going somewhere with him? what about that boy she spoke of earlier, even though he told himself he wouldn't think about it just imagining lexi with another guy made him upset. sure he just met her but he wanted her all to himself, he was selfish that way. and he definitely didn't want to share her with any other guy. griffin decided to go for it, if he was rejected at least he knew that there was somebody there for her. " well i don't know, you see she's really pretty and kinda weird " he said with a small shrug not looking lexi in the eyes. hopefully she got the fact that those were the words he just used to describe her. maybe she'd be able to put together the fact that he was so head over heels it was ridiculous. he just met the girl and yet he was ready to confess his love for her, definitely not the same griffin he was reluctant to get on the plane to come over here.
he grinned to himself as she laughed, still in love with the sound. was it possible for a person to be this in love with somebody they just met? honestly he never believed in love at first site, he thought that he'd have to really get to know a person before he declared he was in love with them. griffin was getting so ahead of himself, he promised himself he wouldn't be that type of guy. the one that jumped head first into a relationship with somebody they barely knew. pushing those thoughts to the back of his head he continued looking around the cave. he sighed, he needed to slow down a bit and really get to know the girl standing in front of him. but being around her was just making his crush a lot worse, but being away from her wouldn't work either. before she could even finish what she was saying she fell into the water along with him surprised that it happened. when she said she was going to take her dress off he was a little disappointed in himself for having to missed that moment. " you can still take it off, i won't mind " he told her with a grin. at least she wasn't angry with him he was a little worried she'd be mad about getting her dress all wet. she swam around a bit before going back to his question early. " amazingly cute " he told her honestly. swimming around his clothes started to weigh him down. making his way over to the edge griffin pulled himself up his legs in the water. pulling off his shirt, he rolled it into a ball and threw it at lexi's head. " that's your prize for being cute " he told her pushing some wet hair from his face. he slid back into the water and made his way over to where she was. but gave her some space not wanting to invade that personal bubble.

Oh holy mother of crap fudgetarts in a blue sealed box! Did Lexi always have to go running around saying these sorts of things? It appeared she did. Only Alexandria Marilyn Walton was the type of girl that would have an amazing time with a guy and start to really like him, aside from the part where she wanted to suck his blood dry, and then goes and mentions something about the boy she sometimes-more-than-occasionally-okay-a-lot-of-the-time had sex with. Damn, damn, damn. She blamed this all on Jacob, and she was so never letting him touch her again. Not while Griffin was in her life, and she certainly hoped that Griffin would like to be in her life, because she was undoubtedly starting to like him. Right now, Lexi hoped that Griffin had completely forgotten every single word she had said about Jacob and just liked her as much as she liked him. Lexi looked at Griffin and gave him an extremely secretive grin. ”Well wouldn’t you like to know? If I told you, they wouldn’t be up my sleeve anymore, and therefore they would be lying on the table for everyone to see. Now that’s not as fun, is it?” she said. Plus, she needed time to think of things.
Lexi laughed and shrugged. ”Hey, you never know. You’re a guy. Sometimes guys only like the girl for the way she looks. Those are the type I like to kick in the nads,” she said. Not that she’d kicked anyone recently in the nads, but when she was human and actually able to get affected by drinking going to bars with friends was fun. Except when drunk old men decided to hit on you and touch you in inappropriate places. That’s when Lexi got to sack people. ”Would you like to be man ugly?” she asked in slight confusion. He supposed? Well, there was another area where Lexi just did not understand guys, whether they be human, werewolf, or vampire. Lexi looked over to him and smiled shyly. ”The only thing that’s in my closet is about ten thousand outfits. No monster would ever be able to fit in there,” she said her reasoning. ”Plus my sister told me that back when we were all monkey people and such, the women would be in the trees with the children and have to watch for things grabbing at them from underneath. Hence why girls are more afraid of things under the bed, or something like that. I kinda drifted off at the end of her explanation,” she said. Sometimes it was like all she said was blah, blah, blah. But Lexi still loved her.
Yet another thing, was the whole other girl thing. She was ridiculous to think a boy like Griffin wouldn’t already like someone. Grr. Maybe if she’d jumped into his life a few months ago, she would stand a better chance against this girl. Dammit all. ”Huh, maybe that’s why you can stand talking to me, because I remind you of her,” she laughed, though not really with her heart. So now she was like a filler girl? Find someone like this other girl and talk to them until the other girl came back? Lexi was most displeased and most saddened by this news. Maybe she should just eat hi-- No! She couldn’t think such thoughts. Just because a guy liked another girl did not mean that she could eat him. She had to keep telling herself that, unfortunately. ”So, what’s her name?” she asked, though dreading to hear the name. She wondered what it would be though. Was he the type to fall in love with a Candi or a Caroline? A Melissa or a Melanie? A Stacy or a Michaela?
Lexi looked at him, actually a bit surprised. She expected something like that to come out of her mouth, but not Griffin. He couldn’t even talk to her at first! After being stunned for a moment, she laughed and shook her head. ”Nope, not anymore. You lost your chance,” she winked. Plus it was more amusing this way. Besides, her dress was already wet. Putting on wet clothing was displeasing. ”That’s nice to know because I would not like to be told I look like a wet rat or something awful like that,” she mused. He was nicer than that though, thankfully. Lexi tried not to stare as he pulled off his shirt, but apparently she might have been paying less attention to the things around her because a shirt collided with her head. Lexi stuck her tongue out at him and chucked the shirt back at him, but by the time it reached the edge, he was back in the water. It landed a foot away from one of the candles and her attention turned back to Griffin. ”How is that a prize?” she laughed. Every girl wanted to get hit with a wet shirt. ”I think your prize for being a buttface is this,” she said, and splashed water at him with a laugh.

he was a bit disappointed when she wasn't up to sharing what she had for him. " i guess your right, but i don't like to be kept in the dark for long " he said warning her a bit. whatever it was that she had up her sleeve griffin wanted to know. she seemed the type of girl who would never cease to surprise him.
" yes because all us guys only like when a girls pretty " said griffin with a small grin. he was a little worried when she talked about kicking them he made sure that if he got lexi mad at him he'd make sure to guard himself properly so she wouldn't hurt anything important to him. " no, i'll stick with man pretty " he said with a small grin. he couldn't go wrong with that, and it sounded a whole lot better then man ugly. she was a little confused but started to smile once they went back to talking about monsters.when she talked about the whole monkey thing griffin was surprised that she knew the information and he found it really interesting. " that's actually really interesting " he told her honestly. he never thought about why that could be the reason but now she put the thought in his head he probably wasn't going to forget it anytime soon.
griffin wasn't sure what to do no matter how many hints he dropped lexi just didn't understand what he was trying to say. he was trying to admit to her that he actually liked her and he wasn't talking about another girl. she was the only one he was thinking about right now, griffin decided just to slow it down and talk to her about this later. if he kept dropping hints he was just going to blurt out how much he liked her, and it was too early for that. anyways she probably was too into her friend jacob to even think that he had a crush on her. but he was a little surprised when she asked for the girls name. griffin just shrugged it off, " i'll tell you soon " he promised her. he would tell her as soon as he was ready to admit the feelings he had for her.
he sighed when she said that he lost his chance. how disappointing he thought to himself, but there wasn't anything he could do about it now. maybe eventually she would get tired of the extra weight, but for now he was just going to have to deal with her and her wet dress. " if you say so " said griffin with a pretend sad look on his face from it all. he laughed when she talked about looking like a wet rat. " even if you did, i wouldn't tell you " he said with a grin. even though he knew it wasn't possible for her to look that bad it was fun to play around. griffin was surprised when his shirt actually hit lexi in the head. he was expecting her to dodge or try to catch it but she was caught off guard. by the time she got herself back in order he had already moved and the shirt landed on the ground. " because it's an awesome shirt " he told her with an obvious look on his face. even though it was a plain shirt he just picked up, it was awesome just because he said it was. he looked at her with mock shock when she splashed water at him. now griffin was happy that his mother forced him to take swim classes when he was a kid. he knew his way around a pool and knew what he was doing. griffin slapped an arm into the water splashing it towards lexi while he thought about what his next move would be.

”Wait, so you want me to throw tricks at you sooner rather than later? Well, I suppose some people don’t like to be in suspense for too long,” she shrugged lightly. Maybe he didn’t feel like sitting there and worrying about what the hell she was going to do to him. It’s not like she was going to do anything bad, of course. At least she hoped not. She would just have to remember to eat something every time before she saw him, because the burning in the back of her throat was driving her to a point of near insanity. She didn’t want to know what it would feel like to be around him when she was hungry. ”Okay then, I guess I’ll tell you soon enough. But not today,” she said with a smirk. She needed to keep her thoughts secret for just a little bit longer.
”Exactly!” she said sarcastically and laughed. Okay, so maybe not all guys, but the general male population did notice when a girl was stunning or not so stunning. This was something Lexi didn’t quite understand because she thought that everyone was beautiful in their own way. Maybe that’s why she wasn’t a boy. That and the fact that her chromosomes are XX, rather than XY. ”Okay, that works too,” she shrugged. Ha! Yeah right, like Griffin would ever be man ugly in the first place. Maybe if he rolled around in the mud for a few hours, but Lexi decided that even then he’d probably still be amazing. Lexi scoffed and shook her head. ”See, now that makes me think you want in my pants, because darling, that ain’t interesting,” she said. It was like she could spit out useless little facts that would never help her in any situation. Boo.
So, now thats he had established in her mind that she was basically completely all depressed now that Griffin admitted to her that he liked some other girl, she could get on with her life, right? Wrong. Ugh. She’d probably hang around pining over him until he told her to go away or died. That was even more depressing. She didn’t want him to die; she’d do anything in her power to stop that from happening. Ironic, considering she wanted to suck his blood. ”When is soon?” she asked, more so out of impatient habit. If he gave her a name, that would make it more real, therefore making Lexi more sad.
”It’s dark in here. You wouldn’t be able to see anything anyways,” she laughed. Well at least she knew that he totally was a complete boy. Most would be rather displeased if they missed out on seeing a girl without a dress on. ”You would let me walk around looking like a wet rat?” she asked with a raised eyebrow. Hey, some people liked to do that sort of thing. Personally, she found it hilarious, rather than getting upset. ”Oh mhmm I’m sure,” she rolled her eyes and giggled. That was definitely a kindergarden thing, wasn’t it? Pull the hair of the girl you liked, sorta thing. Too bad Lexi was too distracted to figure that out. ”I cannot believe you just splashed me !” she said in mock horror. ”Now my hair is going to be all messed up,” she said, imitating the stupid plastics. ”You know what?” she said, then slipped underwater. She could see perfectly fine under water and she could hold her breath, so she swum around like a fish under water and swam behind him. She poked his sides then swam away quickly, appearing at the edge of the pond thing, away from him. ”My dress is getting kind of heavy,” she mused, wanting to see what his reaction would be. Oh, how she loved playing with boys. They amused her.

" i want to see all you've got " he told her wondering what she would possibly be able to do to him. but she seemed to know this place a lot better then he did, she could always leave him and come back for him later in the day. but she said she wasn't going to tell him today. he had to admit he was pretty disappointed with that but he'd just have to deal with it until the next time.
well even though he didn't like to admit it lexi did have a point. most guys were just for looks these days. nobody cared about what was in the girls head rather then what was on her body. but he was never really like that, he was always up for personality more. but if a really hot girl walked by he'd have to admit he'd probably look, there was no helping it he was a boy after all. he laughed when she scoffed about him thinking the whole monkey thing was interesting. but honestly he really did think that the fact she knew that was pretty interesting. it wasn't like you heard that every day in casual conversation. " maybe it's a little of both " he told her with a small shrug as he looked straight ahead.
griffin bit his lip wondering what lexi was thinking about. he wanted it to be obvious that it was her, he was interested in. not some other girl, but it was probably too soon for that anyways. he'd just have to wait till the time was right to finally tell her who he meant. " soon, is when the right moment comes up " he told her with a small shrug.
" thats besides the point " he said sticking his tongue out at her. it was the fact that he missed it because he was being too hasty that annoyed him. but oh well at least he knew what to do the next time he was in any type of situation like this." possibly, depends on if you were nice or not " he told her with a shrug and a small grin. of course he wouldn't do anything of that sort but if he was angry enough who knows what he would say or do. but griffin usually had a good control of his emotions so he wasn't too worried about that. he just nodded agreeing with his statement as she giggled about the shirt. but at least she didn't hit him back when she threw it. she pretended to be shock when he splashed her then talked about her hair getting messed up. " don't worry it looks fine, not like a wet rat at all " he said as she slipped under the water. looking around griffin wasn't able to spot where she was. and before he knew it he got poked in his sides causing him to jump a little and then when he looked she was gone. she moved pretty fast, and he grinned thinking about his own revenge on her later. and then she complained about her dress getting heavy, griffin wondered if she knew how crazy she was driving him. she probably did, and he kind of like playing this game with her. griffin moved closer to lexi and put his hand on the strap of her dress, " want any help?" he asked running his fingers down her arm. he was surprised he could keep a straight face when saying this, in his head he was grinning like a mad man. griffin was curious to how she was going to respond, he never did these type of things with a girl, especially not one as interesting as lexi was. and hopefully this wouldn't push their friendship too much, he didn't want to scare her away. but if she liked to play games, he was going to play too.

Lexi was finding it very hard at times not to burst out laughing with the banter between herself and Griffin. Maybe her mind was a bit too dirty. She blamed that on Jacob, for sure. She didn’t think she was the sort of girl that could take anything and make it into innuendo, but who knows? Maybe she was. She tried as hard as she possibly could to keep a straight face, but she couldn’t help but let a grin slip by. ”Maybe you will,” she said, smirking a little bit. ”But patience is a virtue, apparently,” she said. Lexi was never the sort of person to be patient, but whatever. ”In due time, my good buddy,” she said. In due time indeed. Somehow she needed to keep secrets this time. She needed to shut her yap and not say anything, especially about how delicious he smelled and how much she wanted to rip apart his throat.
For a second, Lexi wasn’t quite sure how to react to that. Actually, it was probably for longer than a second. Sometimes boys wouldn’t admit to the fact that they wanted in your pants. To be honest, Lexi didn’t think that Griffin was the sort of boy to admit to that fact. Apparently he was okay with talking around her now. She looked at him somewhat surprised, somewhat amused, but he looked out straight ahead. She burst out laughing and didn’t reply for a bit. ”I’ll give you one thing, you sure are honest,” she said. To tell the truth, if she didn’t want his blood so bad, he probably could get in her pants. But she feared that even sitting there would make her want to eat him. Skin to skin? Not a good idea, unless he wanted to die happy. But Lexi didn’t want him to die.
”But what if the right moment doesn’t come up for days, for weeks, for months, or even years! You’ll have me rolling around bored out of my mind, going completely loony until you tell me,” she reasoned. She never said she was good at reasoning, but hey, it was worth a shot. The only thing was, she only really wanted to know her name because he was keeping it secret. She didn’t want to know about the girl he liked, she secretly wanted him to like her, and that wasn’t just her ego talking. She really liked this guy, and it wasn’t the blood talking either. Ugh. Everything good had to turn displeasing, eventually. ”Fine then, don’t tell me know. But be warned you will be stuck with me because I like you, Mr. Griffin, and I feel as if I could annoy you for hours and it will never get old. So who knows? Maybe I’ll bug it out of you. Yes, yes that seems like a much better plan than waiting for the right moment to come up,” she said with a very pleased smile on her mischievous little face.
”Oh I’m sure it is,” she rolled her deep burgundy eyes and laughed. Pft. That was a boy answer, wasn’t it? ”Fine, I’ll be super nice so that when I’m around you I can always look amazing,” she said. Because if she looked like crap, he would tell her and she would fix herself so that she didn’t look like crap. But then again she didn’t want to look like crap around him. She wanted to look perfect for him, but since she was a vampire and he was a human, he probably already thought she looked good. Alexandria stuck her tongue out at him and grinned despite herself. Frankly she sucked at understanding whether people were being sarcastic or not, so in this case she hoped he wasn’t being sarcastic, cause she didn’t want to look like a wet rat. When she was under water, she laughed when he jumped and smiled to herself. But she felt like she was almost spending too much time underneath that he might get suspicious. Oh, so the human was getting closer. It was like a bug and those zappy bug lamps. But Lexi was determined not to zap him. ”Hmm…” she said purposely, letting the moment drag on for a bit to torture him slightly. His warm fingers felt like heaven on her skin, but she couldn’t let that show on her face. ”Sure,” she said, trying not to laugh again. Griffin did not seem like that type of forward guy, but she kinda liked that about him. It meant that he kept throwing curveballs at him. She had no intention of letting him declothe her, but she wanted to see what he would do. Jacob would have taken it off without even asking if she wanted help, whereas Edison would have been too shy and gentlemanly. Griffin seemed to be in the nice middle ground. But right now she was just amused. She cocked an eyebrow and looked up at him. ”I’d love some help,” she grinned, trying not to laugh and ruin her fun.

" being patient is no fun " he argued. he wanted to see what she had up her sleeve soon, not wanting to wait till it got him when he wasn't ready for her. griffin was glad when he seemed to catch lexi by surprise. it took her a moment to gather her thoughts and come up with a reaction to what he had said. but then again he just admitted to wanting to get into her pants, maybe that was the part that got her. even though he really wasn't the type of guy to say that to a girl after he first met her, griffin liked to mix things up and to keep lexi on her toes not wanting her to know what he would say next. he wasn't the type of guy who liked to be predictable so a few crazy acts would always somehow make their way in. " being honest makes things so much more interesting "he told her with a small small. that always made sure things were out in the open and usually got an interesting reaction when you told somebody what was really going through your head. but honestly, he wasn't set on getting with her so fast. he hadn't even been able to kiss her yet how could he think about getting so far if that hadn't even happened yet.
" well at least you'll always be thinking about me " he told her with a grin. she had a point about not knowing how long it would take but the right moment came when it wanted to. and hopefully when it came lexi would feel the same way about him then he did about her now. by them maybe they would have spent much more time with one other and the feeling would slowly grow into something more serious. but then his mind wandered off to that jacob guy she spoke about earlier. she would probably be too busy doing god knows what with him to spend time with him. maybe he'd try to make this night last as long as he could, he wasn't ready to give her back to him just yet. he took into account what she just said, having her with him for hours a day just because he won't tell her something. that could probably work to his advantage, he wouldn't mind having her around all the time. actually he would like that very much. " you can try, but i'm not telling till the right moment comes up " he said with a grin to match the mischievous smile on her face.
" well that works for me " he said with a small grin. even though she already pretty much looked amazing when she wasn't trying, he'd like to see what she looked like when she really tried to dress up. he wasn't even sure he'd be able to take it if he saw her like that. she stuck his tongue back at him and grinned at his little comment. she took a while to say something and his fingers continued to dance on her cold skin as he waited for a response. and finally she said sure and he made sure not to show the surprise he was feeling on his face. she was planning on playing this game till he lost so it seemed. but he didn't intend on losing so easily, he wanted to see how far he could push himself. this was the first time he felt so nervous about this happening with a girl. but at least he went on a couple dates with his girl they might go this far but to be honest he wasn't as interested in any of them as he was in lexi at the moment. she was so much different then all those girls, even though he'd only been around her for a day she already seemed more important then most of his ex-girlfriends.
griffin pushed himself away for a moment so it seemed like she had won the game. but instead he wrapped his arms around her pulling himself closer to her and he wondered if she was able to hear how fast his heart was beating at the moment. griffin wasn't use to any of this and he wasn't even sure if what he was doing would work, but he was really hoping it would. and maybe lexi would end the game and his heart would slow down, at this point he was afraid it was going to come out of his chest. one arm slowly wrapped around lexi's waist as the other held onto the zipper of her dress. his face faced hers as he grinned and started to pull the zipper a little lower. griffin didn't really plan on taking it off of her, he didn't think he'd be able to make himself do it. " and i love to help " he replied to her now close enough to kiss her. it was hard to keep himself from doing it but he somehow managed. but how long he'd be able to last he wasn't sure. and now he waited for her to make her move his heart still rapidly beating.

Being patient may not have been fun, but it was fun for the other person. Right now Lexi happened to be the other person, rather than the impatient one, so she was certainly having a lot of fun. But for some reason, she figured if she told Griffin that it was more amusing to make him wait, he wouldn’t like that very much. He might get grumpy, and she didn’t want a grumpy boy on her hands. Grumpy goys were sometimes worse than bitchy girls, and this was a fact she learned the hard way. ”I believe that and agree with that fully. No worries, darling,” she said, looking at the way the corners of his mouth pulled up just so when he smiled. Ugh it was like he didn’t even know how perfect he was or something. Boys were often stupid and oblivious like that, but unfortunately it was driving Lexi to a point of further insanity.
”True. But that would make me a stalker. Would you like me to stalk you, Griffin” she inquired, pretending to be serious. Hell, she’d stalk him if he wanted her to. Wait, that sounded on, plus she had Penny to take care of. Maybe Penny would like to learn how to properly stalk people? Or was that an activity you didn’t take a baby along with? Huh. ”Hmpf,” she pouted, her lower lip jutting out slightly. ”Fine, wait for the moment. But I will try,” she said. Lexi was a very determined sort of girl. It was weird, really. She was the type of person that got so ridiculously easily distracted, but if she found something that she really had her heart set on, she wouldn’t stop until she got whatever it was. This time it was Griffin. Wait, she hadn’t meant to think that thought. She had wanted to think that it was the name she wanted. Ugh. Good thing she didn’t say that out loud. Fail. She stuck her tongue out at him and crossed her arms against her chest. Darnit, he was a stupid suspenseful person. It was a good thing he was so cute or she would probably smack him upside the head.
Lexi rolled her eyes and laughed. Of course it worked for him. What guy in his right mind didn’t like it when a girl was dressed up, looking all fierce and whatnot? Griffin seemed to be in his right mind, despite the fact that he was currently hanging out in a cave with a vampire. Lexi waited, wanting to see his response, but his face never faltered. Grr. She needed someone that sucked at acting. Though, this just made her want to know what he was thinking even more. He needed to be a feline of some sort. She could hear the thoughts of cats, but that was rarely useful unless Kitty and Little One wanted to be fed. For a second she thought that he had already given up so she grinned slightly, but then she was both pleasantly and unpleasantly surprised when he pulled closer. She hadn’t expected that. On the one hand, she really liked him, making it a good thing. But on the other hand, he was inches away from her mouth, meaning she was inches away from drinking his blood. His heart beat slammed in her ears, and for a moment her eyes were fixed on the thick vein in his neck that would give her what she wanted. Her throat burned, her stomach gnawed, but she fought the hardest she’d ever fought before not to drink a human’s blood.
She had to remind herself to breathe evenly and to keep her cool, though she didn’t know if Griffin knew how the heck he was making her feel. She heard the soft unzipping and grinned, trying to make it seem like she was focused on seeing whether or not he would actually do it, rather than wanting to eat him. He was playing with fire right now. ”You do seem like a very helpful person, Griffin,” she said, kind of glad that she could get her words out. At least that meant her mouth wasn’t occupied drinking something. She wanted to close that distance between them so badly, but whether it was to kiss him or to bite him she wasn’t sure. She wanted to do both, but she feared if she kissed him she’d lose control and bite him. And if she bite him, well then she would have bitten him and there would be nothing stopping her from killing him. She couldn’t take it anymore. She wanted to kiss him so badly it hurt, but she couldn’t risk his life like that. She grinned, still pretending to play the game and hoping that her conflict didn’t show on her face, and slipped under the water. She swum to the other side, easily taking off the dress while she was underneath. She popped up on the other side of the small pond and grinned at him. ”Didn’t anyone tell you that it’s not proper to undress someone until you take them out on a date?” she asked with a raised eyebrow and a smile. She tossed her dress to the dry land, but only let the top of her shoulders and her head be exposed to the air. Hey, she could still torture him a little bit, right?

griffin just sighed when she said she agreed with him. he hoped maybe that would mean he'd get to know what she meant, he didn't like waiting. " well thinking about me all the time isn't stalking technically " he said thinking it over. it was only considered stalking if she actually followed him around everywhere he went. " but if you'd like to follow me around all day go ahead " he told her with a shrug. if she found the time to do that then he wouldn't care too much. it wasn't like he spent his days doing suspicious things in an ally. it was pretty much just school and home and sometimes random places in between. nothing to really be interested in. she pouted and he couldn't help but laugh because it was so cute. she continued with crossing her arms against her chest and sticking his tongue our at him. she didn't realize how much he enjoyed seeing this adorable and childish side of her." does somebody want a hug " he said in between laughs as he opened his arms inviting her in. he knew he'd probably be rejected but that was what he was expecting, he was after all laughing at her anger and determination. but he really couldn't help it and he bit his lip to keep from laughing but a smile escaped.
she never had the reaction he expected, and honestly he was happy to have the unexpected happen. but no matter what he did it didn't seem to be having any effect on her, well at least she wasn't showing it. he wondered what was really going through her head, if only there was someway for him to find out. she grinned and then commented on how helpful he was. " i try to be "he replied pulling the zipper down a little more, it still had a long way to go but he was willing to make this conversation last long enough for her to be the first to slip away. griffin got a little closer and his eyes focused on her lips for a moment thinking about how it would feel to be able to kiss them. and if he did what would she do? the only image in his head was of her rejecting him and running back to the guy she spoke of earlier. but he wished that she'd kiss him back, then again he didn't want to be a one night kind of guy. after she was done with him he was afraid she'd leave and he wouldn't see her again.
but before he could get any further into his thoughts she slipped into the water from his grip and swam to the other side. staring at the empty space for a while he was a bit surprised. he turned in time to see her throw the dress and watch it land near his shirt. but she was too deep into the water for him to see anything other then her shoulders, but honestly griffin was pretty relieved that they were done playing the game. he wasn't sure how long he would have been able to last in that type of situation." probably, but i'm not very good at following directions " he shot back with a small smirk. griffin looked from where lexi was floating to where her dress was laying. maybe he could win the game after all? he swam towards the land and pulled himself up and took a seat. he watched lexi swim around just to make sure she wasn't suspicious of him doing anything. standing up he dripped water everywhere as he walked over and picked up his shirt and her dress. " finders keepers right? " he told her with a grin. he walked a couple of feet away from the water and took a seat on a rock and just watched and waited to see what lexi would do. unless she planned on staying in the water all day she was eventually going to have to come over to where he was to claim her dress. he felt kind of bad for making this happen, if she really wanted it back he'd eventually hand it over. pushing his wet hair out of his face griffin took his shirt and squeezed the water out of it. he made a disgusted face as he continued trying to get it to dry off. he eventually gave up on it and set it on a nearby rock, even though there was no sun to dry it off in time he'd be able to wear it. it wasn't as though lexi wanted her prize anyways.
griffin leaned back on the rock, which proved to be very uncomfortable. he lay the dress next to him and played with the hem of the dress. " i think i might keep the dress "he told her not looking up. he wasn't too sure what he would do with it seeing as though he was just kidding about wearing a dress earlier. maybe if he kept it she'd keep coming back until he was ready to give it back to her. and seeing her walk home in just her underwear was going to make him a happy camper. then again did he want all the other guys in the town to see what too? scrunching up his nose he knew that in the end he was going to have to give her the dress back. but might as well have some fun with it while it was in his possession right?

”Well, I suppose not, though it would still probably count as obsessive, right?” she reasoned. Lexi could definitely be obsessive over Griffin. Wait no, that sounded creepy. She didn’t mean it like that! She just meant that somehow he’d probably always float back into her mind. She couldn’t help it! She hadn’t been a vampire that long, but even so she’d never met a human whose blood she wanted so badly. It was weird, actually. It seemed the more she wanted his blood, the more she wanted to be his girlfriend instead. But how could she possibly be his girlfriend if she wanted to kill him? That didn’t seem like a very healthy relationship to her. Lexi laughed and nodded. ”Maybe I will, you shouldn’t say so that easily. You never know, you might turn around and see me dashing to hide behind a tree or something,” she joked. Lexi wasn’t very good at stalking, to be frank. The last time she and some guy played a game of stalking each other, she ended up being turned into a vampire. She decided she lost.
”No, go away, I’m trying to be displeased with you,” she said. Though Lexi tried to keep her face all angry and pouty, she was stuck trying not to smile and laugh. She couldn’t help it! Just being around Griffin made her all happy and warm on the inside, which was a pretty hard feet considering to all humans she felt as cold as ice. ”You’re dangerous, you know that?” she teased. ”I bet you can make any girl forgive you,” she said. He was the world’s hardest person to be upset with. Normally Lexi could be pissed off at people for ages. She was still mad at Joey Alberato for calling her a poopy face in the first grade. All through high school she kept rejecting him. That boy never gave up. Normally she didn’t mind persistence, but she was still mad at him. But Griffin? It was impossible to be upset around him, it seemed.
”I can tell,” she said, the words barely escaping her lips. To be honest, she was afraid to open her mouth when he was this close to her. Did he even know? It was killing her inside. Ugh. ”With this pace we’ll be here until daylight,” she teased, though her voice was quiet since they were so close to each other. ”Not that I mind,” she said with a small smirk on her face. But holy crap, she’d never had a boy take his time undressing her. Well, not true. But that was one exception, it seemed, and it ended up with her pregnant. She was not planning on sleeping with this boy tonight, nor could she get pregnant anymore, so all was well. But if he took any longer he’d be dead and all would not be fine. Lexi looked at his lips as they came closer. She wanted him to kiss her so badly, but also she didn’t. Oh geez, if only she were a human, or if only he didn’t smell so good. Then there’d be nothing stopping her. ”Too bad. Who knows? Maybe I actually would have let you,” she said with a wink and a smirk. Lexi had been known to give it up on the first date, well sometimes first meeting in certain peoples’ cases, but there was something about Griffin that made her not want that. She actually cared about what he thought of her, she actually felt cared about when she was in his presence. Jacob just sort of used her body and found her to be generally annoying. But Griffin? He was different.
Lexi watched him as he walked, quite glad he had gotten rid of the shirt. He was very handsome, let’s put it that way, and she was thankful for her vampire vision. Her draw dropped slightly and her eyes narrowed. ”Just what do you think you’re doing?” she asked when he spoke. Just what was he doing with her dress? It was a good thing she was the type of girl that would walk around in her drawers to get home. She wasn’t going to stay in the cave forever. ”You don’t have the hips for it,” she said back to him with a little smirk, but was planning her way to get it back. She could easily get it back, since she was much more powerful after all, but she had to play on his level. Well, she wasn’t going to stay in the water getting pruney when she had a dress to rescue. Fine. Lexi slowly swam over to the edge at a human pace and slipped under the water once more so that her hair wasn’t all messed up. She rose from the water and climbed out, not caring that he could see her in her underwear. At least it matched. Besides, it was like seeing someone in their bikini. She walked over to him, the light from the candles dancing across her pale skin. She walked over to him and gently sat on his lap facing him. She grinned and looked at him, wrapping her arms gently around his neck and bringing her head closer to his lips. ”Are you sure you want to keep my dress?” she practically purred. Well, she was a vampire, these gifts had to come in handy eventually, though it was unbearable being so close to him. Her lips were barely a centimetre away from his, but for once it didn’t feel right to make the first move. Though, she wanted it, but he needed to be in control, otherwise she might lose control. That would not be good.

" nothing wrong with being a little obsessive " he said with a small shrug. he was being a little obsessive over the need to want to kiss lexi. him actually going through with it kept running through his head it was driving him crazy. especially because each time it ran through he was getting rejected in different ways. he raised an eyebrow when she said he might see her around, now that would be an interesting sight. turning around and seeing lexi turn and try to hide behind the nearest tree or in the nearest bush. he would probably die laughing right then and there after he made sure he wasn't just imaging it of course." that i want to see " he told her with a small nod.
when she told him to go away he put a hand over his heart and had a pained look on his face. " that hurt, right here " he said still trying to hold back laughs. he just really couldn't help it, he loved the pouty look on her. how was he expected to get over it and not let out a few laughs. but he could see a smile trying not to come out of lexi's mouth and he grinned happy that she wasn't too upset with him. though he was kind of sad that he didn't end up getting a hug. " i try " he admitted when she said he was dangerous even though that was far from the truth. of course he'd do a crazy thing once in a while but never anything he considered really dangerous. the real dangerous one here was lexi who had him climbing mountains even though he could fall and break his neck. " no just you " he said with a wink. then again he couldn't recall the last time a girl got really mad at him and stayed that way for long. but he thought that maybe he just never did anything to get them really mad. yeah that was it, he just didn't do anything really bad.
" well sorry for liking to take it slow " he said with mock anger. then again he never saw himself to be the type to rip a girls clothes off. he'd much rather have her do that herself, or maybe do it slowly. meh depending on the girl and the situation he supposed. but then she finished it up by saying she didn't mind and smirked. did she understand how she had her finger wrapped around his heart and every little thing she did pretty much drove him insane. he wondered if maybe she actually would have really let him gone through with it. he kind of doubted it but the thought that she did was rather exciting.
griffin wished that lexi could see her face at the moment, her jaw slightly open and her glaring at him. if he had a camera he would definetly take a picture, it was a kodak moment. but she didn't seem to happy with him, then she asked him what he was doing. but then she came up with one of her snappy responses talking about his hips. he looked at her with mock shock and he set the dress against himself. " i could totally work this dress " he argued. even though he knew she was probably right, well at least he hadn't been planning to wear the dress. he looked up and watched as she swam over to where he was and he was glad to see that she wasn't going to be determined to stay in the water and wait it out. then she went into the water and he lost her for a second until she climbed out wearing nothing but under wear. griffin bit his lip to keep his jaw from dropping, he wondered if she realized how amazing she looked and what was currently going through his head at the moment. she probably did and probably liked playing with him, but he wasn't sure if his little old heart could take it. she didn't say anything as she walked over but then sat on his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck. griffin had to remind himself to breath, his heart going crazy once again. her face was near his and he could feel her breathing as she spoke and all he wanted to do was pull her even closer so he could plant one on her right then and there. his jaw dropped a little and he was speechless for a few moments not sure what to do or what to say. how in the world was he suppose to resist a women doing this to him. but he got a hold of himself enough to say, " dont i get something in return? " he whispered not able to get his voice to go any louder then that. griffin could feel his lips almost touch hers as he spoke and if he just moved himself a little closer they'd be touching it was driving him insane. but he bit the inside of his cheeks to keep his mouth from moving without him telling it too. he realized he stopped breathing for a while and was going light headed without the oxygen. slowly getting his breathing pattern back to normal the next thing he had to stop was his heart he could feel it pounding in his ears and was worried that lexi could hear it too. maybe even feel it seeing as though she was practically on top of him.

”I agree fully,” she said. ”As long as one does not cross the line. Cause then bad crap happens,” she said. Maybe if he knew about her, like actually, she would tell him what she meant by that. It’d be easier if he was a vampire or at least an informed human. But since he was neither, she had to watch every single thing she said around him. It was beginning to be a hassle, which showed how much she was beginning to like this guy. Most of the time she wouldn’t sit around keeping her yap shut. Lexi thought about stalking Griffin and then the possibility of diving into a bush to keep out of sight. That part sounded like it could ruin several bushes and get leaves in her hair. ”I think the good stalkers are sure that they are not seen though,” she pointed out. If she was a good stalker, he would be most displeased with the fact that he wouldn’t be able to see. Oh well. At least she’d be good at it!
If Griffin had been serious, Lexi probably would have felt horribly bad and would probably cling to him in the biggest hug ever until he was happy again. But she could tell he was being sarcastic so instead she grinned. ”Good, that’s what you get,” she said stubbornly. One of the worst combinations was throwing a stubborn attitude into a person with a short attention span. It was a miracle that her brain hadn’t exploded yet. ”You succeed,” she muttered, somewhat displeased by the fact that Griffin had such a spell over her. How was that even possible? Normally she was the smooth talker around the ladies and the gents. She rarely was left searching for words and she was the one always throwing curveballs at other people. She was some what off of her game around Griffin, but she saw it like a challenge. ”Oh, I see,” she said, narrowing her eyes playfully at him. ”I guess I’m different.”
”Hey, it’s refreshing,” she said, trying to keep her voice ready. Though she knew that she wasn’t going to let him do anything, it was nice just to be held like that. No one did that with her. Sometimes it was like slam bam thank you ma’am. Boring. But this, this was torture at it’s finest. Blood, attraction, privacy, ridiculously hot boy taking off her dress. Yeah, she was definitely dead. There was no way that any live person could live through this. He seemed to be able to, but maybe that’s because he already took his top off. Grr. Lexi rolled her eyes and grinned. ”No you couldn’t. Your legs are hairy and your shoes wouldn’t match it. Besides, you need boobs for that dress,” she said, trying not to laugh. She was currently imagining Griffin strutting around in the dress, but she didn’t want to be. If she thought about it anymore, she’d probably never want to wear the dress again. It would never be the same, though it would be special. It would be the dress Griffin tried and failed to take off her.
Lexi was caught between wanting to smack herself in the face and wanting to smile. She liked that she could play with his heart like that, but she didn’t like the fact that every time his heart pulsed, she was reminded of the fresh, sweet blood that flowed through his veins. She laughed softly when his jaw dropped. Well, she was kinda expecting that reaction. Not because she was an ego manic, just because she expected the reaction from experience. ”Maybe,” she said with a sly smile. For a second Lexi was worried that she’d killed the poor boy cause his breathing had ceased, but when it restarted again she calmed down. Lexi knew what she should do. She should get her dress, lead him out of the cave, and let them go their separates ways so that she could never hurt him. Of course, she was never one to listen to logic. How boring. Plus, she found that she couldn’t keep herself away from him. Though she knew this, it wasn’t going to stop her from what she did next. Of course it would have been nice if for once she didn’t make the first move, but he was taking too long and if she waited any longer she’d probably eat him. Her lips came down softly on his, careful not to hurt him with her strength. He was so warm and she could feel the blood rush beneath his skin. The burning in her throat intensified the moment she kissed him, but she used every drop of her mental power to stop herself from hurting him. To the normal observer, the kiss would seem nice and normal, basically your first kiss between two knew people. But for Lexi, it was the first time her hunger had really been tested. Why did it have to be with someone she actually liked? Twisted. Ugh. When she was afraid of hurting him if she kissed him any longer, she pulled back and smiled slightly at him. ”Can I have my dress back now?” she asked.

" very true, the line should not be crossed " he said agreeing with her. but she seemed to be speaking from experience but he decided to leave that alone. it was probably him and his imagination going a little wild once more. if something bad had happened to her wouldn't she be a little more careful around strangers she happened to meet in the woods? then again everyone was different when it came to dealing with their own problems. " well are you a good stalker? " he asked her curiously. honestly he couldn't see her doing very well when following somebody around. she didn't seem to have the attention span to deal with that type of thing, but he could always be wrong.
she grinned at his heart in pain, at least that what he was trying to sell but it was hard with a smile plastered on his face that wouldn't leave. " that hurt even more " he said when she talked about him deserving it. he still clutched his heart with his hand pretending to look as though he was in much pain. he raised an eyebrow as she muttered, had it been what he thought he heard. " care to repeat that, but a little louder? " he asked with a small grin. he knew he should have been happy with what he got but he always liked to push things a little and see what happened. she narrowed her eyes at him and he gave her an innocent smile, there was nothing for her to be unhappy about. " very different, but a good kind " he replied meaning it. she was the type of different that was driving him insane but he wasn't going to deny that he kind of liked it.
" well that's good to hear " he said glad that she wasn't that displeased with him and his ways. she didn't seem to happy when hearing him talk about wearing the dress, it could definitely work for him if he really really did try. " i would find a way " he said sticking his tongue out at her. even if she did have a point if he really did want to wear the dress there would always be ways. guys wore dresses sometimes and it worked for them, he'd be able to do the same thing. shaking his head he didn't even know why he was having these thoughts he wasn't serious when he was talking about wearing the dress.
she laughed at him but he knew he probably looked as ridiculous as he felt at the moment. and as long as he got to hear that amazing laugh he would do almost anything. he waited curiously to see what she had in store for him, hoping it would be as interesting as his thoughts were making it to be. his mind running with possibilities wanting it to be badly to be the one where their lips touched. griffin was too stunned to speak or to move. when her lips found their way onto his his mind was completely blown. he'd never kissed anyone that made him feel this way. it was like time slowed down and the kiss seemed to last so long, even though in reality it couldn't have been more then a minute at the most. when she pulled away he definitely wasn't ready to let go but he did anyways. he wanted so badly to make the kiss last longer. but he made sure not to try again when she pulled away. he coud still feel where her lips touched his and he wanted to badly to kiss her once more. but griffin didn't want to push his luck with her he was just going to have to settle with that one kiss for now. and now that it actually happened he was glad to see it wasn't as he imagined it going. first of all he didn't get rejected, and secondly that kiss was so much better then anything he'd ever be able to imagine. he heard her ask him something but it took him a few moments to gather his thoughts once more. after staring at her for a while with a blank expression he just finally nodded still too out of it to speak. " i guess, though i must admit i prefer you this way " he finally managed out with a small smirk. he didn't want to make it as obvious as it already was how she had him in the palm of her hands. if she said jump the first thing he would ask was how high, if someone has asked him if he'd be this crazy about a girl he would have laughed in their faces. griffin wasn't the type of guy to fall so hard for one girl, and yet it was happening he could feel it. and she probably knew how she was killing him on the inside. and in all that pleasure his thoughts went back to that boy once again, he couldn't get him out of his head. all he could think was of lexi going back to him and griffin alone with only her in his thoughts. shaking his head he was going to enjoy the rest of the night to it's fullest.
